BB19: Live Feeds into Monday Evening - August 21

Sharp dressed man

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Hellbent Hounds:
  • BB gave them some news from the outside -- the eclipse.
  • They gave them viewing glasses to watch it.
  • Some took advantage of the time to nap a bit.
  • I think it would have been funnier had they just surprised them with the darkened skies.
  • Sigh. I guess I don't want them to go blind.
  • I'm sure Raven will contract something from it anyway.
  • The Veto Ceremony (blocked to the live feeds) was held this morning.
  • No surprises.
  • Jason took himself off the block and Christmas put Mark in his place.
  • Christmas cried some crocodile tears to Mark about it hurting her heart.
  • Oh, yeah.
  • Sure.
  • Christmas is pretty sure they're due for a physical comp, although she can't play as exiting HoH.
  • She wants Matt or Raven to win so they will target Alex or Jason.
  • It's Jason she wants out more so than Alex.
  • If Jason or Alex win HoH, Christmas wants them to target Kevin.
  • I'd rather they not, thankyouverymuch.
  • Alex and Jason both fussed about how Raven cooks chicken.
  • It's too spicy and chewy.
  • And here I thought that cooking chicken was Raven's saving grace in the house!
  • Josh talked to us. He said his father told him to act goofy and like he didn't know what he's doing.
  • Here I thought it just came naturally to him!
  • Nothing much really happening with the exceptions of the "If I win HoH" scenario talks.
  • Oh. Mark isn't doing those talks.
  • He knows he's gone this week.

Eclipse watching (and napping, too)

Is he constipated? Could be!

Seeking the wisdom of the gods

Why is she even there? Who chose her?

Kind of funny...
Paul was talking to Christmas and it was sounding like he was feeling Christmas out for evicting Matt next (not sure if before or after Mark?). While he was talking to Matt/Raven tonight, they said something that has Paul feeling threatened, so I think he really will start to push about them.

However, it didn't sound like Christmas was convinced and still has her sights on Jason for the next out. She told Paul she is off meds now and thinking clearly. If she keeps up that kind of talk, she might find herself on his hit list...real soon.

Could this be the beginning of insurrection in the BB house?

Depending on who Paul is talking to, his pecking order is Mark, Matt, Jason, Kevin... or it's Mark, Matt, Raven then Christmas. Currently he's on the latter but that's only because he's talking game with Alex in the BY while everyone else is asleep.

And... they're talking about Raven's pity card, LOL

Funny, because Raven is even more reviled than Paul. Her comeuppance outside will be epic.

Interesting article;

Thanks for the WP article,Ed. I'm just amazed that the author completely ignored Jody's disgusting behavior that caused them to be hated by everyone.

Monty.Thanks for the Kev/Jason timestamp RE:Raven's illnesses.

I suggest that BB put together a show of All-Star Kvetchers. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/kvetch They could have Raven,Victoria, and Becky, the woman who managed to get her face hit by a train. Any other suggestions,Historians? :)

Hey uncartie, what was the Jody behavior? I remember the one with taking personal shots at Josh but was kinda writing that off as the reaction the house (or Paul) was looking for in baiting them. I forget so easily so was trying to remember what else there was? I know it all started when Cody put up Paul and then Christmas without telling his crew, but don't think that's what you mean. Thanks

Crazy Christmas...
Paul actually has her convinced that, as a vet, he can't win if he's in F2 with her.
She must not have watched last season when Paul came in 2nd (but should have won), and Nicole, A VET, won... but only because of a bitter jury. @@

uncartie said...

Agirlsmom,It started when Cody blindsided his own alliance by nominating Paul, which blew up in his face due to Paul's safety twist, and then nominating Christmas instead. Cody & Jessica then holed up in the HOH room and treated everyone like scum when they weren't ignoring them. They used the term "victim noises".

The whole house then turned against them and the pots and pans were off and running. There's a lot of people who either never watched the first few weeks or just forgot their obnoxious behavior. Cody & Jess brought the hate on themselves but Cody is the one most to blame. When Cody was out of the house for a few weeks Jessica was a different person. Cody came back in and Jess was back to her old self.

And this is why I don't get why people like Cody and Jessica. I remember how horrible they treated people. I am not giving the other house guests a pass, but Cody and Jessica were pretty bad. I don't care for them.

I have to add: Cody & Jess were "mean" for 3 weeks. The rest have been absolutely terrible (as bad or worse than Jody) since the beginning (longer than 3 wks, for sure)
That Cody article was from the first part of July; I've venture that Cody (and/or Jess) are FAR from hated now. *yay*
Someone, I think it was Sharon N, said that this group (in the house) seem to thrive on bullying, they pick on someone as sport. I agree - this group always has a target, and they each get in on the bullying. This week it's Kevin. *smh*

So, IMO, it's time to get off the Hate Jody Train; it's left the station. There are plenty of detestable HGs left inside the house. LOL

lemonjello said...

IAgirlsmom, you must not have the feeds because Jessica is so disgusting, her thing was butt holes, literally, and Jody were always in their room having sex, she talked of being pregnant with Cody all the time!

Sharon N said...

Absolutely amazing how Paul has trained all these nitwits to think he's their BFF. Like them or not, the only HG's he couldn't train were Cody & Jessica... and they rapidly made his hit-list.

So far, all these fools talk about [in their own quasi-alignments] is about who they will be taking to F5 and F3... and Paul is in EVERY scenario! They talk about how they are going to get others to take shots at the everybody else... but flippin' PAUL is never mentioned, other than how to keep HIM safe. @@

As soon as someone starts showing any minor form of intelligence, they get put on Paul's "list." Now that Christmas isn't on drugs anymore, she's making sounds of not totally agreeing with Paul's thought process. If she keeps it up, those "sounds" will plop her on his 'revised' list.

They spent over half the Big Brother weeks9s trying to get Jody out. That's over half the summer. Jody was bald, but the others were worse in my opinion.

uncartie said...

Petals, Sorry but Jody's behavior never changed. The only difference is that they never really had any power. Cody has said many times that "I hate these people".
Cody also made threats against Josh when they get out of the house. He is not a nice person and he has a violent personality and huge anger issues.

uncartie said...

Nickel, To be fair the only reason that it took so long to get Cody
out is that Grodner fixed it so he could get back in by letting Cody play
the deciding competition on a game he just got finished playing versus Paul
having to come in ice cold

Nickelpeed said...

It's no different than production giving Paul the 3 week safety. I just think they've all been bad.

After listening to Cody's after interview, I have to believe he just couldn't handle the fact that he didn't control the game. He had already said in pre-interviews that he could not stand people playing victims, especially men. It's part of being a Marine. I'm not making up excuses for him, but different things lead people to how they feel.

I will admit, when he became HOH, he really went overboard. Then when he couldn't get rid of Paul; and everyone turned on him, he went on the defense. It made it worse with the house turning on him and Jessica and he alienating themselves. If you want to play this game, you have to have some kind of social game. You can't survive without it.

Hey! This isn't a place to mock others for their choice of who to like on the show. You are free to like or dislike any cast member on the show. It's a TV SHOW. It's not life or death or any big moral life decision. It's not anyone's duty here to change the minds of others or to "defend" their choices of whom they like to the point of becoming as mean-spirited as the cast members might be.

This is happening way too often here. Stop it.

I agree 100%,Nickel. Cody came into the house expecting that he was going to be the platoon leader and the rest of the house were his grunts. When it blew up in his face he couldn't handle it.

"He had already said in pre-interviews that he could not stand people playing victims, especially men."

Yet,in the end that's exactly what he did.

Monty,Thanks for the suggestions. We're well on our way to an all-star cast of Kerfuffling Kvetchers :)

Jackie - I didn't attack anyone. I voiced my opinion. Everyone else is allowed to do it, but when I do, you jump on me. I've felt attacked this entire season, to be honest.

There, I wrote that. My feelings have been hurt all season, Jackie. And I dutifully donate to you even tho I can barely afford it. I've been loyal to this blog and even told other about it. But it is clear that I am no longer welcome here.
And you'll delete this before anyone can see what has happened.
Love you guys, will miss you.
Ciao

I'm extremely impartial here and don't post often, but what Petals just stated is very accurate and very obvious. Even my wife noticed and mentioned to me the bias Petals has been receiving here. There is nothing she has been posting that is different than others, but she seems to draw your ire more often than not. This is very clear to those of us who casually check this page out regularly. I love this blog and I mean no offense, but feel I need to defend someone I don't even know...

Wow...just read Petals message. I have come to read this blog for many seasons and always love what she says. I most often agree totally with her and have said so.
I am shocked she has been made to feel she cannot post and actually entertain us with her comments...which I really enjoy. She has a clear and most often perfect idea about what is going on. Darn. I am very sad she felt bad. I will miss her comments and maybe I too will not return.

Jackie S. said...

Petals can post. She's free to post about the cast. But when comments become about others on the posts and not about the cast, they're not allowed. People, not just Petals and not singling her out, are getting way too heated "defending" the hamsters of their choice by accusing others in the comments of being blind to what they see. We all see things differently. I'm sorry for hurt feelings, but the rules need to be followed by all. The only removed posts have been out of line ones. I guess if Petals wants to do the work of putting together her own blog, she can say whatever she wants about those who comment. I'm just saying that opinions need to be restricted to the cast itself, not those who might like or dislike one or more of the cast members. I never said a word about Petals in my comments until this. It goes for ALL.

Nickelpeed said...

Hope you're feeling better, Jackie. Hug Vincent and maybe his purring will make you feel better.

Nickelpeed said...

Don't leave, Petals. Please???!!!

Petals said...

Jackie - I truly never meant to offend anyone, least of all you. But I did feel singled-out; if I was wrong about that, I apologize.

Jackie S. said...

It wasn't just you. Let's all just keep it about the show and not about each other.
