BB19: Live Feeds into Tuesday - August 15

No longer a sky diver

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Incorrigible Ingrates:
  • Cody joined Alex and Jason for a talk in the HoH room.
  • Invited by Alex even.
  • Oh my.
  • Don't get your hopes up, though. He's still a dead man walking.
  • He explained how things went down from his perspective and said he was there because he loved the game -- not there for fame. (Cough::: Elena:::cough)
  • He said he'd like to do another show with Jessica. The Amazing Race? Hmm. I think he'd be good at that; I'm not as sure about Jess. But, since his biggest weakness is in social doings with bunches of people, he'd do better in the race.
  • Mystery solved as to why he didn't choose HoH room to be wrong with the temptation noise answers -- they had an HoH room lockdown and some noises played then.
  • Cody found out that Raven had her sights set on him at the beginning and, when he wasn't interested, lied about things he said.
  • Paul and Christmas were relieved of their sky diver tandem suits.
  • That punishment was much more complicated, in a part due to her broken foot, than tethered together punishments of past shows.
  • Cody hopes that being first to jury gets pick of the best room and bath.
  • Mark thinks that Christmas hobbles around and then jumps in on the anti-Mark bus.
  • He claims to respect Alex and Paul's gameplay. But, of course, wish they'd stop targeting him.
  • He was telling this to Cody, mind you.
  • Josh decided to create a scene claiming that Mark was telling people to keep Cody.
  • Cody told Josh to work it out with Mark. He's over it.
  • Paul said they're not playing Big Brother -- they're playing Big Baby.
  • He's spot on with that.
  • But babies are generally better behaved with other babies.
  • Paul told Kevin that Cody said he had him (Kevin) in his pocket.
  • Now, I did NOT see Cody say that. I either missed it or it never happened.
  • It's all working towards targeting Kevin after Mark and Elena (and perhaps Raven and Matt).
  • Apparently Josh has taken Kevin's place in the final five plan.
  • Kevin would be too popular in a final two.

Hot dogs for all!

Raven told the "nerd herd" that at the beginning of the game, Cody told her he wouldn't hook up with her because she couldn't have children......that info got back to Cody, and it's a complete lie (shocker 🙄) Cody was P.O.ed and wanted to confront her about it...but Alex told Cody to wait until out of he house to confront Raven about it.....why??? It's about time somebody calls Raven out in that House! And I think way better to do it in the house so the Show watchers can get a true Crazy Raven edit

If the morons on the bottom would realize they were on the bottom, they could/should have flipped the script. Instead, Matt saves Jason even though he's not in the Final 5 and the rest of the sheep will go along with voting out Cody because THEY AREN'T IN THE FINAL 5. They all deserve to lose. Could we have an earthquake swallow the house and just end this season with no verdict?

I can't remember a season that "making it to the jury" was so coveted. That scene where Julie calls out they are all in the jury the HG all jump up and down hugging each other....Jury must be the real prize here??!!

Sharon N said...

Well, I imagine the money they are "earning" in jury is considerably more than wages at their real jobs...if they even have jobs in the real world. So yeah, I can understand their Jury enthusiasm.

What's more difficult to understand is why they don't care to put in the effort for the 500k. Heck, even the 50k is out of their realm of thought! What we have here is a bunch of mean-spirited and mentally uninspired people, Ha! That almost sounded like Cool Hand Luke!

chrob61 said...

Sharon N- I agree.

Imagine if Julie said after announcing the Jury contestants, that each HG has a chence to just "opt out" of the rest of the season, and go off to jury.

I wonder how many would just go for that option? If many selected it, which they just might, the show would have to scramble to fill the programming schedule (or have many non-elimination weeks).

The way things are now, we are left watching a bunch of floaters, plus Paul and Alex.

chrob61 said...

Edit- no, I think "floater" would only pertain to Mark and Elena, the rest are I guess "sheeple".

Paul is the Jim Jones of this house. And he will win, unless someone wakes up in this game. I was thinking that if in his goodbye speech, Cody says "My vote is going to Paul in the F2, since he is obviously going to get there, and is the only one playing the game".

Sharon N said...

Fred... love that idea.
That would actually make the Thursday episode presentable if Cody did that!! Of course, Paul would spout "bitter" but at least it 'might' get some action. But probably not since that's pretty much the way it is this year -- perfectly fine with reaching one of the illustrious spots in Final 6. Obviously that is THE highlight, with only their weekly stipend to show for it. @@

RE:Jury enthusiasm. I totally understand it.
1)You're guaranteed $1000.00 a week through the rest of the season.
2)You still have a chance of winning it all or picking
up some other valuable prize via a comp.
3)Should you get voted out you basically get paid to be on vacation
until the end of the season.
What's not to like?

On a side note, Ozark has been renewed on Netflix :)

At $1000/week, that's approximately $13-14k for them to do basically nothing for a little over 2 1/2 months. Not bad. And my guess is that's more than the majority of these people normally earns in 6 months. However, this mentally-strapped crew won't allow themselves to Think Big. @@

After taking the $25k, Kevin will walk away with approx $33k, which will be more than everyone except the F2. One thought: since Kevin took the $25k, I wonder if BB won't have fans voting for Favorite Player this year.

Meagan said in an interview that Raven really wanted Cody and she was the one who tried to get him. He was not interested. She probably felt he was interested because when he first got in to the house, he was the last one and there was no place to sleep, so he asked if he could sleep in her bed. Cody said she talked about herself for 2 hours. When he won HOH, she'd come up to the HOH room and he'd have to ask her to leave. When he started to have feelings for Jessica, she put a stop to Raven wanting to sleep with Cody.

I'm glad he's talking to others. Too bad he didn't do this in the beginning. He would have fared better. Too serious, too soon.

I hate that they're turning on Kevin. I can understand them turning on Mark, but still, why can't they talk to anyone they want? If you don't do what Paul and crew want, they shun them.

I think they'll still have a Favorite Player. Personally, I don't think any of them deserve it. I've never seen a group just happy being on the jury. I'm hoping that changes when they get closer to the end. But, I doubt it. Paul is going to win it all.

Penny,
The online ranking started to turn on Kevin the other day too. He was top-dog for weeks, but now he's mid-pack. I don't know if the drop is because he blabbed Cody's confidence, but it's suspicious that the ranking drop started the same day. Who knows, Kevin may have thought providing Cody-scoop would help his standing with the group, but it only added to the distrust that Paul was already engineering.

Cue the circus music! These psychos are going at it again.

Unbelievable! XXXmas joined on Alex's attack of Elena then, Paul, as usual, brought it all back around to Cody.

Paul is afraid that Alex will flip the house so Elena is evicted instead, so he keeps bringing it around to harping about Cody, trying to keep them focused on what HE wants.

In the meantime, Cody has been trying to avoid all of them. They come outside, he goes in and visa versa. But they still keep trying to get him to fess up to whatever nitty thing they've universally decided at the time, but he's actually been holding his own. Maybe his Marine training is helping him maintain his temper and his poker face. I would have lost it a long time ago!!

It's so obvious that Elena, Mark and Kevin are the next targets. Raven and Matt better watch their backs too, although those 2 are interchangeable and perfect for Paul to take to F2.

I think with the amount of comps he's one we have to stop calling Mark a "floater". And he IS legitimately trying to play the social game, even if he's doing it poorly lol.

I think tiny Paul CRYING at 7:14 pm says a lot about how he is feeling about himself in this game. Attacking someone's girlfriend and child? Yeah - WTG.

Another sickening attack in the BB house today.

If someone had a weight problem on the show, would you call her Fat Tina? Hmm. It's okay not to like how someone is playing the game. But ...

I'm with you Joe! These people in the house are clueless.Somebody better grow a pair soon and take a shot at getting him out or they might as well make the check out to Paul now!

Nickelpeed said...

I think what upset fans with Kevin is just what Sharon N. said. Cody told Kevin in confidence about his daughter and brother. He went back and told everyone else. And, to make matters worse, they don't believe him.

Cody said in his bio that he would probably lie about his age. And, he said he didn't like whining from grown men. He also said that he would like to pair up with a strong woman and form an alliance. That is why he approached Alex. He said she was strong.

Another reason why I think Kevin fell from graces with fans is because of his infatuation with Christmas. IMO, a married man should not be that close to any other woman. He's very, very close to her. An occasional hug is okay, but not him sitting with her between his legs, etc. I do not think that is good. JMO.

It's probably a good thing Cody is ignoring everyone. He knows no matter what he says, they will still evict him anyway. It's what the house wants. It's actually what Paul wants, but they like the "it's what the house wants."

If Kevin knew how much Jason talks badly about him, he would not talk to him any more. Jason is a gossip/backstabber. It's probably be good to be a backstabber, but after awhile, they'll know who's doing it. He talks to Alex and Paul a lot. Alex will eventually start wondering if he can be trusted. Jason talks really bad about people. He'll smile in your face and run right back to Paul and Alex and make fun of the person.

Personally, I think the only person Paul will take to the F2 is Josh. He's been his man for weeks. Josh does whatever Paul asks of him. He's made a lot of people angry. Paul will want to bring someone who's irritated everyone...Josh has done that. He's the perfect person to keep around for the F2.

I just can't understand how these people think making the jury is winning. Maybe none of them have good jobs, so even making the jury is more than they'll ever make all year. They have it burned in to their minds they've made jury and that's good. I'm tired of hearing that.

Jackie S. said...

Penny - Each year the "making it to jury" desire seems to be increasing as a goal. Most don't earn the $1000 a week in their real jobs and it's like being paid to relax and eat well. Plus, not only do they get the most bucks they can (other than winning) but it's like they consider it a BB fame level of some sort. I see the same sort of correlation to a lesser extent on Survivor.

Nickelpeed said...

It's so sad, too, Jackie. Cameron and Dominique were the only ones in this group who had really great jobs. Jobs that could earn them 6 figures or more.

From what I've read on other sites, many of these contestants apply for many Reality TV. It's part of their adrenaline rush. Some do well, some don't. LOL

I hope Survivor never gets this bad.
