BB19: Live Feeds into Friday - September 1

Well, well, well ...

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Peer Pressure:
  • If you read my late night bulletin, you know Christmas is the new HoH.
  • Paul got them to all throw the comp to her.
  • Now, of course, we know he's safe with her in HoH.
  • But how can everyone be so complacent that they're not playing their own games?
  • Kevin was reluctant to throw it. But then Paul told him that if he didn't, Paul himself would win and put Kevin on the block.
  • If Kevin goes on the block, he could go home.
  • I don't believe that Kevin is the target of Christmas/Paul/Josh this week.
  • Raven talked about how great Matt is and how he was going to kick Cody's butt in jury for what Cody said about her.
  • @@
  • I can imagine Matt shrieking in a higher and higher voice until the windows break in the house.
  • Heh.
  • Paul reassured Kevin that Christmas will not be nominating him either in nominations or as a renom (backdoor).
  • He wants Kevin to keep quiet and not draw suspicion.
  • Christmas also told Kevin he can trust her.
  • Gee, I trust her!
  • Well, not really. But Kevin isn't the target this week. They want to get out people who can win comps. And, sorry to say as I like him so much ... Kevin, although he threw this comp, just hasn't shown he can win comps.
  • But that's a good thing ... this week, anyway.
  • Kevin pledged his loyalty to Christmas.
  • Why am I reminded of Kevin, early in the season, quoting the lyrics to 'Sympathy for the Devil' to Josh?
  • Now, that, of course, would be Paul.
  • "Pleased to meet you, hope you guessed my name ..."
  • I think her targets will be Alex or Jason.
  • We'll see how loyal she is to Kevin if one of them win veto.
  • We'll just see.
  • If she's smart, she could possibly backdoor Paul. I think things might be getting down to where they just might go for it.
  • But, then again, they haven't been playing their own games this season.
  • They've been playing Paul's game.

Is this season over yet?

Absolutely incredible!!

If Paul avoids them turning on him, then he deserves to win this season even more than last. But I can see this group being even more bitter than last season's, so we'll see...

Hope she gets Alex out this week!

Christmas is a P L A Y E R.............if she puts up weak players on the block....then she may be able to persuade others to backdoor Paul??? Of course Paul is going to TELL her what to do.... is it wiser to get rid of the stronger one ( for one, and for she can ONLY get rid of ONE possibly on HER HoH )................then the double eviction coming!!!! Will they figure it out? Paul must have since he has earmarked him as winning that HOH I think? Will she get support to backdoor Paul ?
They MUST get rid of him now...........MUST! If Christmas does this week, she will be hailed as the biggest move and the gang that voted him O U T. We will know as the week goes.........or maybe she has started saying who she will put up already? One can hope she is the P L A Y E R.

I've mostly been lurking this season since I rarely watch live (DVR it all) so I'm always behind the curve. I do always check Jackie's updates (as great as ever...thanks, Jackie) and read the comments. I know it's nothing new but I'm so exasperated that they're playing "Big Paul" (even though I'm hesitant to quote Elena). I am not a fan of Paul at all. Is he really playing a good game or is it just that no one else is playing at all? Maybe both but I do not enjoy him at all. I loved Matt's interview, though. Wow is he wearing Raven-colored glasses!! I also love when Raven says she can be proud of the game she's played. LOL. I really find it hard to say that anyone in there now has really played the game. To me, following Paul is not playing the game; it's playing HIS game. Oh well. Jackie's updates and the comments here have me hanging in. Hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend :) Sasha

Jokers said Christmas told Paul she would backdorr Kevin? I was hoping to see Alex leave this week.

If Jason/Alex win the POV Kevin will be the option to put on the block.
They want him to remain in game because he is a weak player. If that happens one of the original nominees will be evicted

Either Jason or Alex will leave in the first eviction Thursday.

Saying that, that is is nobody takes and apple which they all pretty much say they will not.

All of the sheep listen to Paul.

I just don't think Alex will throw Paul under the bus. I don't see Alex fighting too hard for Jason to stay in the game. She knows its a jury vote. She also as well as 90% of remaining houseguests have a final two/three with Paul

Josh, Christmas, Raven not Kevin will turn on Paul yet.

This from another site:

Ok maybe I'm paranoid but anybody else think Xmas' HOH letter was coded? Key words: dream catcher, tiger, friendship, dog dying. Mentions 8/12 x2. Not sure how her friends child started school 8/12 on a Saturday. She got a dream catcher necklace made with tiger eye beads! Come on, It's all suspicious.

I think it could be! Plus, what school starts on 8/12 (a Saturday?!?)
Very suspicious.
UncArtie - I know you love a good conspiracy theory, LOL

These people are soooooooooo unreal. Are these people being paid to quit and give it all to Paul? I'm beginning to believe this.

Jessica is going to be on Bold & The Beautiful!!!

Chauncey said...

is this the worse group ever or what? how did Paul convince ALL of them to throw the HOH?

Petals said...

Yes, Chauncey. Those who weren't convinced were "threatened" (Paul's word).

Petals said...

So apparently it took BB several announcements and over and hour to get the hamsters out of bed today.
Why should they behave? Why should they do ANYTHING that they don't want to do?
What will happen? Nothing.

With Paul basically threatening Kevin, there is no way Kevin would not have thrown it to Christmas... let alone he wouldn't have won it anyway. So far, the 2 HOH wins Christmas won were given to her by Paul!! Plus your suspicion about BB with Christmas's HOH win is VERY interesting Petals! and, good for Jessica!

BB has showed these houseguests and FUTURE houseguests that they don't have to pay attention to house rules or production! Absolutely no no consequences

Anonymous said...

They will get one penalty vote for breaking the rules over a course of a few days. Big deal? I think production has had it with this crew and can't wait until BB20 as well!!

So on a side note, I've been reading a new book. In the book is a young adult male named Josh. Now the book Josh acts a lot like BB Josh and whenever this guy talks, all I hear is BB Josh! Gah!!!!!!!!!!!

Alex and Jason are the nominees. Kevin already told Jason that he thinks one of them is going to go. "They aren't putting both of you as pawns. One of you is gonna go".

Kevin is going to end up talking himself out of the game if he doesn't cool it.

BarbaraF said...

I really hope it's Jason. No respect for him after his talks about women. Both are strong players, but Alex I think will get on better with the group than Jason would. She understands the gameplay whereas Jason needs to be told what to do. And, when he didn't listen to Alex, he caused a major argument in the house unnecessarily.

Nickelpeed said...

Kevin just doesn't know when to cool it. He needs to be careful. Both Jason and Alex are pretty good at competitions. One could win the Veto, then Kevin would go up. He doesn't have enough clout to get out of situations.

Christmas winning HOH just shocks me. It was a running comp? The only way she could win, would if it was given to her. I think Paul is wanting to give it to her to make her look like the bad guy. The only HOH he'd want to win, is the last one. However, even then, most of these jokers would take him to the final.

I read Raven was practicing her AFP speech. Is that true? She's pretty delusional.

Every other BB has punished people for not following the rules. Which one was it who had to kick a ball 100 times for not following the rules? She left shortly after, but she still had to finish her punishment before she left.

Petals, when will Jessica be on Bold and Beautiful?

Petals said...

She films this coming week, not sure of air date.

Penny - yes, XXXmas won on a relay race. The Paullowers all defaulted immediately, so XXXmas won without having to take a step.
*smh*

Penny, that was Brittany S16 but it was a POV punishment not for breaking BB rules. She did get voted out right after that though.

Shelly had to do the one like 2000 times. The mini obstacle course with the sword.

Judi Sweeney said...

LOL@T-Town... I'd put that book down!

Nickelpeed said...

Thanks Petals and Monty. Petals, I just do not get it. So, it's only what Paul says? It's the way it has been since the first week. Maybe he's setting Christmas up to be the bad guy. Who knows. It's ridiculous.

I'll try to read up when Jessica is on Bold and Beautiful. It's one of the Soap Operas I watch anyway.

Monty, you'd think they would have punished Matt more for breaking the rules, though. Since Brittany's was something she was given at the POV, I would think breaking the rules would be worse. I know Brittany's punishment was from the POV where you could steal or trade, but if she had to kick 2400 goals for no reason, then Matt should have been penalized for breaking the rules. I guess production figured he was going home anyway, so it didn't matter. At least Brittany followed the rules. She could have quit and refused to day any, knowing she was going home anyway, but she didn't. She completed the punishment for a matter of pride.

monty924 said...

Yes, and Brittany had to kick 2400 goals in 24 hours. I first thought Penny was talking about Shelli but then I remembered Donny sitting out there with her cheering her on. The soccer kicks was Brittany and Shelli did the sword thing.

monty924 said...

I know Penny, but they've only ever gave one penalty vote. BB rules I guess.

Here's Allison Grodner's answer to all of the questions about Matt breaking the Have Not Rules and Paul's control of the game.

I think BB has opened a Pandora's box for any future have nots who are only up as a pawn, or who may not even be OTB! Now they know they can eat as much as they want, sleep wherever they want and shower as often as they want in hot water ALL WEEK LONG and it cost them ONLY ONE vote. At the least, that vote should stand up for EACH/ALL remaining weeks! This is not going to be the last person to do this now that the waters have been tested and Production has to be very naive to think this is the last testing, especially with the people they are picking!
