BB19: Live Feeds into Sunday - Sept. 10

Kevin is smiling a bit ... for now

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Not So Lovable Lemmings:
  • As you know from my last brief post, Paul won the comic book veto.
  • To be honest, when you consider the skill sets involved in that comp, I think Alex might have been the only other one who could have won. If not for Christmas's foot, she could have been a real contender for the win.
  • But, if not for Christmas's foot, I think we might have seen an entirely different game from her this summer.
  • Everyone thinks they will have a final two with Paul.
  • Hmm.
  • It's highly unlikely, impractical and possibly impossible that Paul will use the veto to save either Kevin or Alex.
  • Since Alex is next on the hit list for Josh, Christmas and Paul, Paul's winning keeps her on the block.
  • If Paul were to use the veto to save either of them, Christmas would be the only one who could be put up as the renom.
  • No, no, no ... Paul doesn't want that. He knows he for sure can beat Christmas in the comps going into the final two. He's not so sure about beating Alex.
  • Josh continues to worry that he's made grave errors by leaving Paul in the house.
  • But it's too little, too late.
  • Alex feels on solid ground thinking Paul's the only one she can trust.
  • Of course, when Paul doesn't use the veto to save her Monday, he'll try to turn the blame on the others, thus keeping his hands "blood-free."
  • Since Josh can't do the blindside of Paul, right now he just wants to talk to Alex and let her in on Paul's ways so she can go into jury with that knowledge.
  • I think that will backfire as she totally trusts Paul.
  • I guess we'll see how things go after the veto meeting.
  • But, since she sat around telling us she believes in friendship, she believes in Paul ...
  • ... she might as well believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.
  • (Sorry, I did label this post as SPOILERS and that would include news of Santa and the Tooth Fairy, too!)
  • Kevin and Josh sat around talking friendly, smiling and all ... just like old times in the early days.
  • Josh made nicey-nice with Alex.
  • Christmas and Paul are a bit suspicious about the niceness with Josh and Alex.
  • Oh, well. It will all be over soon.
  • Perhaps not soon enough.

Hamsters loving their yard

I used to be able to hula hoop

I believe in friendship. I trust Paul.

They need to stop using Josh! He should win all the way! Paul should've been gone! Josh is way above everyone else with his honesty and loyalty.

I think it's too late now to even think about getting Paul out. If everyone in the jury thinks Paul is innocent, will they give him the win based on gameplay? I mean he hasn't done anything that he can take credit for. Every thing has been behind the scenes, so to speak. He can say he was the mastermind, but so can the person he is sitting next to. Josh and Xmas were the ones who won the comps and did the actual dirty work. He may be a master manipulator, but I prefer a player who will actually do some of the work himself. Raven said in an interview that she thinks Alex is running the house. You have to remember this cast is not the brightest, so will they figure it out that Paul is responsible for everything. I think he's banking on getting votes because he is innocent and has been friends with all of them, minus Cody. I'm not sure if that will actually happen. I think they only person he is guaranteed to win against is Kevin.

I hate the glee in Paul with his game play. He praises himself in it. ( A lil Hilter) Yes he has a group that is under his influence ( Charlie Manson ). When everyone from the jury sees the tapes, and they will and hears from their loved ones how they were duped and PLAYED, the venom for Paul will be tremendous. A little late but their own fault for falling so beautifully for this lil kid. As he told Christmas when she said she is getting a lot of hate mail ( wonder why!!! :) ), just ignore them, our FANS will take care of them!" Who cares about the haters when one has fans? He after all spreads "friendship" Obviously selectively of only the ones who don't HATE him!!! My wish is some how he doesn't win or even place 2nd, but doubt that will happen :) Yes, it's only a game, but you like to see winners you like at least. NOT PAUL!

Things like comparing Paul to an actual murderer are why I'm not enjoying this place so much this season.

No one has been killed. Please, it's a TELEVISION SHOW. If you wish to sensationalize things, go to Jokers or wherever. Otherwise, be realistic in comments.

Wait, whoa...Jackie, I'm disturbed by this recent update. Are you trying to tell us that there is NOT a Santa Clause or Tooth Fairy?
*mind*blown*

LOL

Actually, I thank you for your update(s), since the feeds hold no interest for me. Poor Josh, knowing exactly what is happening and unwilling or unable to do anything to change it.
Will be interesting to see the ep tonight, with all the returning players.

There goes Jackie... making sense again!! :)

There's a book titled, "Tell Them What They Want to Hear."
That book was written before Paul was born, or I'd think he was the author!

The only thing Paul has in common with unconscionable people is his Power of Persuasion.
There's a LOT of people with that same exact power, and most use that power in a positive way. In Paul's case, he's been successful using his 'power.' We don't have to like his methods (and I don't), but it's not his fault these people are brain-dead sheep.

Something else to consider:
Perhaps our brains are receiving a subliminal 'black hat vs white hat' message... via his black hair, big fluffy black beard, and all the solid, dark tattoos that cover the majority of his upper body (ala the pirate Blackbeard). Then he goes and offsets that message by popping on and wearing the floaty... giving the air of absolutely stupid silliness to his persona.

Along with the others, Alex is going to feel and look like a fool!

Judi I so wish I could see their faces when/if they watch this season. Somehow I have a feeling that would be more entertaining than the actual show.

Does anyone know if Paul has told Alex he's not using the veto? I saw them making a plan last night on BBAD, but didn't watch long enough to see what happened.

Judi Sweeney said...

Jodie, I would love to see their faces too! In fact For this group of hamsters I would love to watch a series of them watching the shows FULL feeds enfold together just so I could see their reactions towards each other! THAT would be worth watching!

Judi Sweeney said...

Feeds having Christmas telling Josh she is going to pick a fight with Kevin and then she wants him to come in and finish it off with Kevin.... Again bullying tactics.

You might not like Paul but he has outplayed everyone. He deserves to win if he makes the final two

Sharon N said...

^^^ DITTO!!!
It would be priceless to watch their faces as they learned how dumb and what sheep they were.

But I'd like them to learn another valuable life-lesson as well:
How childishly MEAN they were to other people, and how much they enjoyed torturing others.
Mostly though, they need to learn how much viewers don't enjoy their kind of viciousness. My hope is that they will actually feel shamed, very sorry for their actions, and choose to be better humans in the future.

Judi Sweeney said...

Whole heartedly agree Sharon... Hopefully lessons will be learned

The sad fact is that Paul already played the game last year. After that he had 9 months to study the game, practice the comps, and train for them.

He then arrives with "friendship bracelets" that offer immediate safety to certain HG's,and is given an additional 3 weeks of safety courtesy of a "temptation" that was certain to be acted on.

Paul, being a vet,is of course an instant celebrity to these idiots. Many are in awe of him and thus become minions that he can control.

The show was scripted for Paul to get to the end. We all fell for it and the ratings are fine. Expect the expected next year.

Sharon,Yes,I still think Vanessa was one of the best players ever and hold out hope that someday she'll be back. Heck,I'd even watch the horrendous celebrity BB that's coming up if she was on it. :)

Judi Sweeney said...

Personally I hate seeing ANY Vets returning because it does give them they advantage of already playing the BB game. Unless... it was a season of all players being first and second place winners! Then, that would be fun to watch!

Judi Sweeney said...

OR.... strictly second and third place hamsters!
Maybe with strictly the 1st person evicted each season! Smiling... giving them a second chance!

Anonymous said...

Judi, that would be fun to watch!

Sharon N said...

Uncartie, Paul has had the privilege of being on BB19 with deranged sheep who never watch Paul's last season. As good as Vanessa was on her season, she might need the same kind of privilege... a bunch of sheep who never saw her season. After this summer's group, I guess that would be an easy enough task for BB to find. lol

I don't know how they keep finding people who've never watched BB, then get 'selected' to play. Most admit they haven't bothered to even watch more than 1 or 2 episodes; sometimes not even watching 1 episode all the way through. Then have the gall to call themselves Super Fans. @@

Paul telling Alex he isn't using the veto begins at 12:54 pm feeds 3/4 today. It's long... if anyone is interested.

Sharon N said...

Saw that Monty,
Crazy. Paul fesses up that he might lose with Alex alongside him in F2. Then followed up with some other twisted logic that he couldn't save Alex because that's not what 'they' want. As usual she swallowed his BFF BS... hook, line and sinker. Then vowed her loyalty to vote for him to win. @@ Nitwits. lol

I've been glued to the hurricane watch since last night, but I looked up the time stamp to watch Paul and Alex. My sister and her husband live in Palm Bay and they had a tornado touch down two miles from their home. Thank God they are safe and okay. Just wind damage to the yard, but they aren't out of it yet. Praying for Florida!!!

Judi Sweeney said...

I saw that too Monty! Paul has played the because your my friend Alex... I'm going to tell you that you are going! And she's falling for it!

But.... she will have a lot of time to think about it! She did say to him "this exactly what Cody said would happen!" She also said "I shouldn't have thrown the POV. I should have won it and taken Jason down."

Only thing is right now out of respect for him and his blaming others AND for "friendship".... she told him that he has her vote for winner.

But, she is still shell shocked. He said if she can convince Josh and Christmas that Kevin should be taken out he will go with them. Ugh!

Judi Sweeney said...

We all know it won't happen! They won't leave Alex in and Paul wouldn't allow that to happen! Josh is already on to Paul working the Jury... This just might push Josh over the edge... and maybe even Christmas's eyes to open! We'll see!

Judi Sweeney said...

Josh is by himself repeating that Paul and Christmas are taking each other to final 2. The light bulb has gone on in Josh's head... finally.

He is going to ask Paul and Christmas for a split vote and say he wants to take her out. Then he will cast the deciding vote to keep Alex and work with her!

Sharon N said...

Too bad Josh's plan to align with Alex probably wouldn't work. She still thinks Paul is her hero, so she would still align herself with him. Although, if Josh was able to cast the vote to save Alex, she 'might' be forced to admit Paul has been lying to her. I say 'might' because the remaining HGs are all (except Josh) still wearing Paul's blinders.

Judi Sweeney said...

I don't think Kevin is wearing the Paul blinders, but he knows he has to do what Paul says or he's out. MY only hope IS that Alex AND Josh team up!
