BB19: Live Feeds into Thursday - Sept. 14

Fa-la-la-la-la

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of The Boring Four:
  • Man, these live feeds are just about shot for the season.
  • We missed the nominations and PoV, but found out the results -- Josh and Kevin are on the block and Paul won the Power of Veto.
  • When the feeds came back on at 9pm their time, midnight my time, most were napping.
  • Well, Kevin was staring into space blinking a lot, much as he's been forced to do a lot of the summer because he was shunned.
  • About the most interesting thing that happened was that Paul had a "Friendship Chat" with us.
  • As I suspected, his intention is to take Josh to the final two. That would be the wisest choice for him as he's made sure Josh has bloodied his hands with almost every eviction.
  • If he chose Christmas, many don't really know her cruel streak, and they might feel sympathy for her due to her broken foot. Plus, he lost to a woman last season when he deserved the win. He won't let that happen again! He didn't say this to us, but I'm just being a bit psychic here.
  • I imagine she'll be getting a big enough payday for that foot from CBS anyway even though it was broken due to tomfoolery.
  • He won't bring Kevin to the final two because (1.) He would think it a Victoria move as Kevin has won no comps and (B.) Kevin just might take a bitter jury's votes for the win.
  • But Josh ... he has done his best to make Josh look like an enraged monster emotionally and physically.
  • Only we know that Josh, although too little and too late, was the one who most wanted to get out Paul towards the end.
  • I found it interesting in Paul's talk that he went on about not wanting to let his parents down again -- his sister became a doctor while he was inside the BB house this summer.
  • Why do I think his parents probably had higher dreams than him winning a TV reality game show? I'm not even talking about his twisted evil ways of going for the win. I'm talking goals in life.
  • I can only think they expected something much different from him.
  • If all goes like I expect tonight, Kevin will be voted out by Christmas.
Just a note -- I see a lot of talk about voting Cody as a favorite just to "get back" at Paul for the game he played. I personally can't condone voting solely for those reasons. Memories are short, I see. I realize Cody had a few fans from the beginning. But his BB game truly sucked. He betrayed his own alliance, refused to talk to people, holed himself up with Jessica, bullied others and sat around staring a lot. I can't see how that all comes across as a "favorite player."

Meanwhile, I was actually entertained by Kevin until they shunned him so much that he spent time just sitting alone with no one to talk to. He tried to get along with everyone and got shunned because of it. No, he didn't play a great game. Yet he was a breath of fresh air -- an older dude (for BB) who kept taking the punishment from the younger cast without breaking down. He's the one with my votes for "Favorite Player." That's because I'm using the vote for what it should be used -- my favorite in this cast, not a revenge motive.

Plenty of time to think this summer

Most likely to be chosen final two

Some fish survived the summer

Offed by the toxic environment?

"I'm probably a psychopath."

I have read on other sites, people voting for Cody for AFP just for spite. My vote will go for whom I enjoyed watching the most and that too would be Kevin. He was a breath of fresh air in sometimes a toxic environment.

Although we may not have liked the way Paul played the game, he deserves to win because he was in charge (maybe not the way we think it should be) and manipulated the game to his advantage. For that reason, he deserves to win. I too am voting for Kevin as my favorite house guest.

Jackie S. said...

True that, Kristen. To me a vote made in spite is just about as cruel as this season has been.

Jackie S. said...

Yes, Anon. Paul does deserve the win. He'll also deserve the backlash for how he played the game. I'm sure that not something that's made his parents proud of him. They need to concentrate their pride on his sister.

Anonymous said...

This season blew chunks. And I have to disagree with you, Jackie. It's America's Favorite Player and unfortunately for you, many people liked Cody because he was the ONLY player who saw through Paul and his shenanigans. I don't see it as a "revenge" vote. He was the only one with a brain and thoughts of his own. He didn't get much of a chance to play the game because those dumb sheep in the house turned on him the minute he tried to get Paul out and he couldn't recover from all the hatred thrown his way. In the beginning, Cody got along with everyone, formed an alliance with 5 other people and then, BAM!...he tried to get King Paul out and the lemmings turned on him. Kevin was friendly, but did absolutely nothing the entire game. So, Cody will get my 20 votes a day.

DKNYNC said...

Thank you Jackie. I can't understand voting Cody as AFP just to spite Paul. Not only is Cody one of the most undeserving players but it takes the prize away from someone who does deserve it. It's surprising to me that some viewers can be as bitter as the jury. Like him or not Paul played an incredible game and deserves the win. Voting Cody AFP doesn't change that. I'll be voting for Kevin.

chrob61 said...

Thank you for the updates Jackie-

I couldn't stomach watching Paul and his crocodile tears last night!

Yes I agree with you about Kevin, he provided a lot of distraction from all the meanness in the house this season. It's also rare that someone of "advanced age" gets this far in the game.

Paul's plan to take Josh to final two is virtually foolproof. Unless, maybe a bitter jury will see how Paul egged Josh on about his pots and pans....I definitely can't see either Cody or Mark voting for Josh.

Jackie S. said...

Anon -- Cody said in his pre-show interviews how much he disliked Paul. He secluded himself when he had a chance to play. He had a horrible social game. How quickly y'all forget in light of your overly sensationalistic view of Paul.

Jackie S. said...

I will say that if Cody had worked with his alliance in the beginning to get Paul out, voicing his reasons, I might respect his game. Instead, he betrayed their trust at the start. He doesn't deserve "favorite player" designation.

Anonymous said...

Anon 10:28: AFP is not who played the best game, it's Americas Favorite Player. Cody was an angry, control freak who isolated himself and didn't do much all summer but stare and lie in bed screwing Jessica. (I'm so glad she was determined not to embarrass her family and then had sex all summer with a guy she just met and whose anger management was clearly a problem) Cody is one of the most disturbing house guests ever. Anyone who continually talks about killing people during his time in the service freaks me out. Any normal person wouldn't tell people that! If Cody had tried to socialize and discuss his plans and try to convince the others to get Paul out I could maybe have respected his game. But he didn't, he got angry and isolated himself and ruined Jessica's game. Jessica might have had a chance if he hadn't come back into the house. Voting Cody for AFP is a joke!

DKNYNC said...

I agree Jackie. Cody had a chip on his shoulder coming into the house. His social game was horrendous, he didn't even try to talk to people! I can't believe anyone thinks he played a good game just because he hated Paul.

Chacha said...

I have to say the anon comment 10:19 really doesn't get AFP-

I have stated for weeks that there is no way I would vote for cody-
As Jackie has stated in this thread I have been saying the same thing about Cody.
What is really funny is Jess is still throwing her chances at AFP away by telling people on social media to vote for Cody.
Paul taking Josh is his only shot at winning. If the jury is Bitter Josh wins.

Anonymous said...

I think people have also forgotten how horribly Cody treated Josh in the beginning. He called him fat multiple times, made fun of him for crying or "making victim noises" and several other things.

Also, I voted for Kevin last night and it let me vote way more than 20 times, so are these votes even counting or is this another thing they are just planning to give to Paul. I hope when they announce the top 3 favorites that Paul isn't even included.

I was really hoping for Josh to win veto this time. I hate to see Kevin go, but I'm sure he will be glad to get out of there. My only hope is that in the end Josh makes the decision on final 2 and takes Christmas or he beats Paul in the final 2. I don't know which I would enjoy more, Paul getting voted out 3rd or losing in the final 2.

Chacha said...

Anon 11:04

Cody did treat Josh terribly.

I voted last night for AFP and it only let me vote 20 times.

Josh winning 2 of 3 final parts HOH-
Josh has said a few times that he can't beat Xmas in the final two- If its a bitter jury he will most certainly come in 2nd.
We also need to remember Josh has made the most turn around of a HG in quite some time.

Paul winning 2 of 3 final parts HOH-
If there is a bitter jury he would lose to both
Jury bases win on comp wins- Paul wins

Chauncey said...

Paul getting bit by a bitter jury and not winning is just part of BB. How many times has the actual "Best" player won? Danielle, Janelle, Vanessa, Dan the second time all lost but maybe should have won.

Anonymouse said...

Still voting for Cody. And it's as much an FU to CBS as Paul. I would even vote for the dude who left 10 minutes in if I thought he could win

Anonymous said...

Why is it someone wanting to vote for Cody is being labeled as having a 'short' memory? or it's just a 'revenge' vote? Maybe some just like Cody & have from the beginning. To each their own.

David said...

Well, I don't know what CBS is doing about the voting. I don't think the votes are counting myself. Here is what I got back from CBS.

Dear CBS fan,

Thanks for contacting CBS All Access.

The maximum number of votes you can record is 20, you can vote as much times as possible but only the first 20 count.

Sorry but the "favorite player" is subjective. It's not called "Who played the best game player". It's my opinion, and my favorite player was Cody. Maybe I'm biased as a Marine and I could sympathize with where he was coming from. I thought he was the only one man enough and smart enough to see Paul's game where others blindly followed Paul. For that, he was my favorite player. Kevin was fine, I liked him but he blindly followed people too and it was annoying to me.

Anon said...

This season of BB was such a disappointment. And reading the comments on who should be voted AFP has been a bit of a disappointment too. Attacking each other for who they want to win or why they are voting for someone is not right. It seems the past election mentality has carried over. So sad people feel the news to attack others opinions. Everyone has a right to their own opinion whether it is popular or not.

Anonymous said...

CODY FOR AFP. I think there are many reasons for that vote which have already been said here a quite a few times. I hope it happens. There seem to be many articulate people who feel that way. Yeah for that!!!!!!!!! Once again, PAUL IS THE WORST. I of course won't say all the bad names that come to mind. I hope his parents are horrified by his behavior.

Anonymous said...

Paul does not deserve to win. He does not deserve to AFP. He has been CBS"s boy from the beginning. NOT FAIR. I want Cody to get AFP because he knew what Paul was doing. Paul has been far worse to EVERYONE than Cody was when he was in the house. Thinking how Paul forced so many...especially JOSH to be mean to others and actually fight....I am shocked to hear anyone would want to reward such behavior, language, and just every single thing he did. I cannot watch the show anymore, because I can't stand the sight or SOUND of him. He has made Josh do terrible things and I know Josh has not really wanted to. He has changed since the first week. Its Paul that has forced him into most everything he has done. He cries because he really hasn't wanted to do it. He just cannot stand up for himself. Sad.
CODY FOR AFP Yipppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

IAgirlsmom said...

Someone at work said only those that logon with their CBS All Access accounts have the votes counted and are limited to the 20 votes. All the non-payng accounts aren't being counted and that's why it's not limiting them.

Auntie Leigh said...

I love reading all your comments folks. This site has been the best (only good) part of this season's BB, IMO. Petals, Nickelpeed and uncartie are all especially witty but of course, Jackie is the Champ there. Wish we could vote for Jackie. See you all tomorrow...

Jackie S. said...

I don't think anyone is campaigning for Paul to be AFP. I also don't think AFP is a good venue for "showing" either CBS or Paul what you think about them. Unfortunately, BB has been a ratings monster for CBS this summer. That alone will encourage the sort of casting we see in the future. By voting AFP for a bully, we encourage more bullying. By honestly voting for whom we liked best or found the most entertaining, we might send more of a message. True, Cody had some fans all along. But so many are just jumping on the outrage bandwagon as they have done all summer.

IAgirlsmom said...

Someone got a reply from CBS that said:
" Sorry for the confusion. Votes will only count when submitted by CBS All Access active subscriptions."
So, I created the free 1 week account and viola' - it cut me off after the 20 votes.
It had been letting me vote unlimited before I signed up for all access.

Shoot!
I thought I was voting my little heart out for Kevin..
But I am a CDN fan and I don't live in the US..

The rules and conditions state "VOTING OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES (EXCLUDING PUERTO RICO, THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, AND OTHER COMMONWEALTHS, TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS), 18 YEARS OR OLDER OR WITH PERMISSION FROM PARENTS OR GUARDIAN."

Sorry Kevin

Is anyone wondering why Alex didn't get to see any goodbye messages. I was hoping to see Josh reveal his alliance with Paul and Christmas, just like he did with Jason. And I will also vote for Cody for AFP. I just think the way he and Jessica were bullied was disgraceful. And i also think he would have been a loyal player throughout.

Bluff said...

Kevin was the most above the fray. Cody was a hothead but the isolation was quite the two way street. When Paul and crew wanted to bully and pick fights and make people miserable, there was little choice left to integrate yourself.

The twist killed Cody when he had to nominate half the house. Yes, he went rogue but that's an impossible task with Paul benefitting from the twist. The other huge mistake was being so divided and thinking they controlled who went out when Ramses left. A wasted opportunity to level the playing field.

I didn't enjoy the season and too many people were bullied, not convinced through reason, to do certain things. I'm tired of unanimous votes and throwing competitions. It has become a manipulation event instead of battle. Not my thing but so be it.

Judi Sweeney said...

Anom 10:28.... I agree with you! I liked Cody from the beginning. Not from short term memory or to spite Paul. Cody knew Paul's way of playing and was determined to not be star struck or blinded to his ways! He knew if Paul remained in the house, he would run it! He and Jessica were against the WHOLE house and still lasted 7 weeks! Once they were gone Cody's warnings came true and I'm sure as each following houseguest entered the jury house, they told Cody he was right... just as Elena did! It bothers me that we weren't able to see each houseguests as they entered the jury house as in past seasons! I don't understand why that didn't happen? Why the change this season?

We all have our reasons for voting the way WE WANT to vote and rightfully so. My thoughts are ONLY mine.... not trying to get ANYONE to vote the way I see it. All of you/us have a right to vote the way we want.... no matter what your reason is! So get out there and vote for YOUR favorite AFP.

Personally, I am ready for this season to be over... been watching from from the first season on. I found this one to be the worst season! I found it to be the most offensive, mean, bullying and violent seasons!

I have always defended BB when others suggested production was guiding or getting involved in the houseguests actions/outcomes.... But this season BB production made it impossible for me to ignore this! And, if the rumors about Raven and Christmas are true (knowing Paul/his mother), it saddens me to think how much in past BB seasons I may have been blinded.

I am a little nervous about the upcoming Celebrity BB show... I already know a few of the leaked guests are foul and mean spirited... I am hoping this is not a CBS and BB new trend! Kind of like watching professional wrestling and you know it's fixed... I hope not! I liked it better when I thought it was all game play with ALL houseguests.

Jackie S. said...

About the only people who DIDN'T bully this season were Cameron (no chance to do so), Ramses and Kevin. Cody and Jessica both bullied others. Paul directed the others to bully and they did. I just can't see voting for a bully to win America's Favorite Player.

Kristen from Ohio said...

If you're voting for Cody for AFP because you feel he had the best game play, then I support that decision. What I don't support is voting for anyone to send a message to CBS or any houseguests as a F.U. CBS won't care, ratings are high, the final two won't care, they'll have the money. Paul, although I didn't like his game play, deserves the win because it's not his fault the others couldn't think for themselves or see through his manipulations. Although Josh was starting to think that way, it was way too late in the game to get Paul out when he first thought to.

Jackie S. said...

Agreed, Kristen. I just see so many newly-minted "fans" coming out of the woodwork -- people who've never posted in comments here before -- and the movement prevalent on many BB-related sites that it's very troubling.

Hey, maybe Josh will pull a rabbit out his hat and win?
Bwahaha!

Sorry Jackie I've like Cody since the beginning. I've seen Cody be nice like when he told Kevin about his daughter to make Kevin feel better about missing his famil6. I've seen Kevin say mean things in there. Kevin is no Donnelly from a few seasons ago. Kevin also a ready won 25k. I found him not as likable as the season went on & I won't mention his past but I did read some things I didn't like. Cody could use the money for his daughter & to fix his car. I also believe he suffers from PDSD & he could get help for this. He also never got violent even with people getting in his face like they did.

Glenn said...

I just thought of a way that Christmas could change up the game. Paul leaves nominations the same thinking that Kevin gets voted out. What if Christmas votes out Kevin instead. She could decide that Kevin would be easier to beat in the second part of the HOH completion. She had said she did not want to have to choose between Josh and Paul. This way She would take Paul for final Two and she would be taken over Kevin by Paul. Christmas may know that Paul might choose josh over her,

Re: Cody - I've just always liked him. I thought he was good-looking, I liked that he's a Marine and I thought he was funny. But I don't mind if people are angry at me about that; seems people are always angry at me for something or other, LOL.
Like Jackie said, it's just a TV show. (it's not like I'm marrying him!)

It didn't even occur to me that it would bother CBS if I voted for Cody. Actually, there have been so many reports of the voting being wonky, who knows if any votes are even being counted?

I really don't care how anyone else is voting. Vote, don't vote - whatever makes you happy. Personally, I'm happy this season is over, whew!

Bring on Survivor!

Sharon N said...

My daughter also told me that she learned... only those with CBS All Access can vote for AFP.

If true, it's BS... a total ploy for more people to sign up and pay for access.
I just might sign up for the 1 week free and then drop it.

Anonymous said...

Well said Petals.....the voice of reason! Everyone should vote for who they want without repercussions or criticisms.

In regards to Cody's blank stare there is a saying called the "1000 Yard Stare".

It's known as a battlefield syndrome wherein a soldier may become lost in thought due to stress. The 1000 Yard Stare is named this way because the soldier may seem to be focusing on an object very far away, and may even become unresponsive to external stimuli.

I would like to know why BB hasn't been showing the jury house at all since Mark and Elaina got there. In the past, each week they would show a little of the new person coming in and how things were going.

Marlo L said...

That would be great if Christmas screwed over Paul by keeping Kevin. She has a better chance at picking her final two partner. But since no-one can think on there own this won't happen. So glad i quit watching and thanks for the updates Jackie. I don't know how you do it I can't stand to watch them 3 hours a week.

Glenn said...

Yes if Josh got voted out no one would no what to believe. Kevin would be shocked that he was in final three and Paul would wonder what Christmas was doing.

Judi Sweeney said...

^5 Petals.... I joined the 1 free week so I could vote! My vote didn't have anything to do with bullying, not bullying, CBS or to simply bug Paul. Mine dealt with who tried to actually make some game moves.

Cody is the only one who wasn't blinded to Paul's game. Though it turned out to be too soon to get Paul out (due to the generous BB 3 weeks of safety), it was/and would have been a GREAT move! Others would have been forced to play THEIR game and not Paul's! Cody's getting out Paul (which was a game move) would have changed EVERYTHING!

Though I REALLY LIKE Kevin, felt he was treated badly, and I was entertained by him... Kevin already received $25K and basically didn't have any game moves and fell into Paul's telling him to isolate himself and shut up especially after Jason left... again playing Paul's game! He too did everything Paul told him to do, just as the other houseguests did. I didn't see any game moves and my voting was based on SOMEONE (please) making any game moves! Couldn't bring myself to vote for Paul, besides he too is coming into big money!

Lili said...

I figure people should vote for which ever of the HGs were their favorite. If that happens to be Cody, so be it. Personally for me it's Kevin.
But I find it odd that some folks think that if Cody wins the $25 k that it will somehow upset Paul. I think if Paul makes top 2, and he surely will, he'll take his money and go home, and won't give a second thought to whoever wins AFP.

It's been a very disappointing season mostly because Paul was let back into the house, and quite advantaged from the start with immunity and the friendship bracelets etc. So once Cody made all of his first week HOH blunders the whole remaining season has been squarely in Pauls hands. About the only nice thing I can say about the season was it was nice to see some brand new comps...like the map of the house one, and the Temptation Room was kind of cool. Oh well.

Somebody here suggested a season with all vets that came in second or third. I would watch that. But mixing vets and newbies pretty much pisses everybody off and I would prefer that BB stop that.

Peace out.

Judi Sweeney said...

I obviously agree Lili... that was me who suggested it be those BB Vets who came in second and third place... or even those BB Vets who were voted out first each season! But definitely no more mixing by bringing in a BB Vet with newbie BB houseguests.

Without All Access, you can go ahead and vote as many times as you want, but NONE of the votes will count.

So I did it. Signed up for 1 week FREE of CBS All Access. As expected, my 20 votes were indeed counted this time... because a message appeared saying I had used my 20 and can vote again tomorrow.

IMO, this has nothing to do with CBS stopping fraudulent voting.
It's all about the $$ and I'm quite sure they hope people will either:
1) forget to cancel
2) get hooked on All access.

Anonymous said...

I did not join CBS AllAccess and I voted with a 20 vote limit. It cut me off.

Jackie, NC said...

I voted and it was free. Didn't have to join anything. I went on CBS.com/bbvote.

In a way, having the feeds (all-Access) can only benefit non-Paullowers, since we (feeders) were able to see what REALLY happened on in the house, and not the edited version shown to the public.
Just a thought.

David said...

I just tried it and I was cut off after 20 votes. So that tells me all of my votes from yesterday did not count. I also tried a few hours ago and was still able to vote way over 20 times but it seems they were not counting. It is fixed now for everyone without the all access like me. So Get voting for your favorite.

I have no opinion on who to vote for or why. I am going to stay out of the fray since I don't think any of them deserve it myself.

uncartie said...

I'm in favor of CBS only allowing feeders to vote. It eliminates any threat of bots, troll farms,or throngs of followers of people who aren't even on the show like Rachel or Frankie voting.

Sharon was able to get a one week free trial so it didn't even cost her. Good for you Sharon! The voting gets cut off before the show and serves as perfect reminder to cancel the feeds.

Jackie S. said...

Okay, enough about the AFP vote for now.

I'm calling an end to discussing it other than any technical issues. I'm so sick of all the acrimony this season. Vote for whomever you wish, but please be honest about your vote. CBS and BB don't care who wins. They just want ratings. Unfortunately they got this with this season filled with so much bullying and people not playing the game for themselves.

Sharon N said...

It's too bad... now that I have All Access FREE for a week, it's the 'End of the Road' so NOTHING will be happening in that Toxic house.
Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. :))

re: Paul's cartoon that he's been so fixated on...
It's unfortunate that 'pottymouth' overshadowed the word 'toxic' on his poster.
IMO, 'toxic' was the more important message.
