Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Friday - Sept. 14

Riding the L6 wave

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Then There Were Five:
  • After playing Lead, Follow or Get Out of the Way with Brett in the second eviction last night, the feeds were blocked as they played the HoH comp.
  • We know they decided Get Out of the Way with Brett -- his "private" talks about getting rid of Angela and Kaycee blew his Level 6/4 standing. It's one thing to listen to JC and report back; it's another to pursue that angle against members of the alliance. Rachel did it before him and we know how that went. Winston is the only casualty in the alliance who didn't really do himself in.
  • When the live feeds returned, it was Angela wearing the HoH key.
  • I'm sure that we can safely predict it will be Sam and JC on the block again.
  • This time will have no back-up plan. If one wins the veto, whoever remains will go home.
  • Right now I'm not sure who will go of the two -- each come with their own set of problems. Sam is moody, odd and almost won the first HoH last night. JC is problematic and an instigator, has won no comps this season.
  • Angela doesn't care much for either of them.
  • I think Tyler has a soft spot for Sam, but also like JC.
  • Kaycee likes everybody. (And everybody likes her.)
  • Sam exiled herself to cleaning out the storage room refrigerator, cleaning around the kitchen and preparing her large satellite dish bed in the Have Not room.
  • Hmm.
  • What's up with that, BB? It's like giving her an HoH room of her own sans goodies and letters from home. That room is usually locked off once the Have Nots stop.
  • While Sam was doing her own thing, Kaycee, JC, Angela and Tyler played a game of Two Lies and a Truth. Kaycee admitted to JC that she was the Hacker who removed herself from the block. Tyler claimed he didn't know and she just told him the other day. Tyler denied the power app to all and kept saying JC had to have it. He has kept that secret all along from everybody -- he kind of hinted at it the week he asked not to be in the original nominations. But no one has really been told anything ... not even Angela, if my memory serves.
  • They were all exhausted but had to stay up for Angela's HoH room reveal.
  • They were all saying goodnight to her when BB announced a booze delivery.
  • When Tyler went into the storage room to get it, lo and behold, his HoH basket of goodies was with a six-pack of beer.
  • Everyone gathered in the living room to listen to his letter and look over his snacks.
  • Tyler acted like he had no clue he'd get a basket.
  • Yeah, right.
  • Nominations are later today.
  • I predict that Angela will not nominate Tyler and Kaycee.
  • While the past week or two have been predictable, I still think this is the best BB in years. We watched people who came in to play the game. Even Fessy, as ignorant of BB as he was, came to play with his wrong-minded theory that he could be a comp beast. We've watched a strong alliance plan ahead and be cut-throat in cutting the ranks if a member of the alliance turned against them all the while eliminating the others ... even when they weren't the ones in power.
  • We saw some trash-talking, but little actual meanness as time went on.
  • It can't get much better than this.
  • And, yeah ... Julie signed off last night as Julie Chen-Moonves and it was the first time for that. Hopefully she'll stay on hosting the show -- no announcements have been made that she's leaving as of yet.

Made it to Final Five, won nothing

Still has private space in Have Not

Who wants to see my HoH room?

Gee, do you think we can predict her noms?

Proud of well-executed plans

Tyler got his HoH basket and letter

Thanks for the updates Jackie- now here are my picks on the finals, see if anyone agrees with me!!

Tyler- he'll win it all if he gets to final 2
Angela- she'll win against Sam, all others she'll be 2nd place
Kaycee- she'll win a final 2 against either Angela, Sam or JC, she'll come up short vs. Tyler

Here are the long shots-

Sam- I can't see her winning it all in a final 2, best she can hope for is 2nd place.
JC- If he can get to F2 vs. Angela or Sam, he'll win, otherwise best he can hope for is 2nd place - I say he'll beat Angela only due to bitter jury.

My big pick of Tyler over Kaycee is that I think even though this will be a spiteful jury, Tyler has directed the gameplay over Kaycee, and I think Brett will still let bygones be bygones.

I’ve loved this season more than the past few. Not to many jerks but I’m sure now it will get dirty. Thx, Jackie for the updates. We’re wall to wall hurricane coverage!

Dolores in NC(formerly Florida, lol)

Can’t get away from hurricanes!

P.S. last year I missed the finale in Florida for B.B. cause of hurricane Irene!

As I recall, Tyler did tell Sam about his app, but she was the only one he told.
Very risky, but she has remained loyal and hasn't told anyone...even through her most upset or crazy episodes.

Tyler can win vs Angela, but maybe not vs Kaycee (she's liked by everyone).
Actually, just about any of the remaining could beat Angela, even with all her comp wins (almost everyone in Jury dislikes her).

Not likely, but it sure would be nice to see the Jury vote on game play...not the fact that they got got.

Why did Tyler get an HOH basket?

Jackie S. said...

Yes, I forgot he told Sam!

And, Anon -- Tyler won the brief HoH on the show last night. Every year in the double eviction that brief HoH winner gets a basket and letter, but not the room.

How in the world did Tyler convince Brett not to try for the veto? Wow. A careful plan that worked like clockwork.

I would be very happy/pleased/excited with a KC/Angela/Tyler final 3. They really deserve it. They really earned it, both strategically and competitively. I'm not sure there has ever been a more deserving Final 3 in the history of the show. [Assuming they are the final 3, of course.]

To the powers that be~~~~Tyler/Angela/Kaycee LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those last few comps they've had, with the video buffering, the ball in the tube, that shell or high water etc, were comps that I think favored no one.

So my question to the group is this- are L6 that good, or are the remaining houseguests that BAD?? I can't recall a season where the comps were so dominated.

**A little voice in my head is saying that Sam is going to win veto this week**

Sharon N said...

chrob61,
The other side did win several comps, so they weren't totally incompetent.
With that said, most are sitting where they are because of supreme ego, blind ignorance, or a combo of both. The loyalty and cleverness of L6 didn't help them! lol

Sam almost won one of the last 2 comps, so L3 has decided they want her out next.
If your little voice is correct and Sam wins VETO, one of L3 goes up, but I think L3 will stay loyal and vote out JC. However, the glitch would be IF the vote is a tie, which means Angela would have to bring down the guillotine.

The comp wins are actually pretty even including the Hacker comps with one FOUTTE and one L6. The amazing thing about L6 was they were able to get rid of people when they weren't in power.

monty924 said...

Weeks 1 through 8, L6 only one two HOHs. Tyler week 1 and Angela week 6 and they still managed to only lose Winston and Rachel. Winston was a casualty of Scottie's HOH and they kept Brett over Winston. Rachel, on the other hand, was actually the target of L6 because of her scheming with FOUTTE and she had turned on L6 at that point.

monty924 said...

Weeks 1-8 vetoes were more even. Five L6 and 3 FOUTTE or other side.

You guys with your research and evidence!!! LOL!! I stand corrected, but maybe it's me, or the houseguests this year are nicer, it is just seeming too easy for L6. If it comes down to Tyler/Angela/Kaycee I'll bet they'll even "koombayah" that final vote with a big hug all around.

I like the show this season, I just want a little more sass and spice. Perhaps on finale night with the jury questions it'll get "spicy".

Wikipedia is my friend, chrob :))

I agree with you on this season being nicer and there hasn't been any real meanness like Jackie mentioned on the original post. I also agree with your winner predictions, but I still have a feeling that KC could beat Tyler in a F2. I just can't see Tyler cutting Angela now that they've whispered those L words ;-)

Sharon N said...

Monty,
I agree, Tyler wants to keep Angela, which is why he has been denying their "romance" to JC, Sam and Kaycee. In reality, they all know, but as long as he denys...
With all the questions, they started being more careful about spending too much time or sleeping together.

Tyler/Kaycee have had a F2 since almost the beginning, so she'll probably feel betrayed when/if he 'cuts' her at F3.

Thank you for the update, Jackie. I hope you are feeling better.

For those in the path of Flo, please stay safe.

I also like this season better than last year; and others, too. No banging of pans constantly. No name calling and "surrounding" the butt of the name calling This group was more civil.

I think Kaycee being in the F2 is not a shoe-in. I know they've been in this together since the show started'however, his relationship with Angela could muck that up. He promised so many the F2.

I also believe the F3 will be Tyler, Angela, and Kaycee. Whomever wins the final veto will decide their fate. We already know Angela and Kaycee will pick Tyler. But, what will Tyler do? Will he chose the woman he has canoodled with or the woman who he promised to take to the end. We'll see.

Y'all I can't add a meme, or if I can don't know how but I saw a funny one that said...Poor Brett not only was he shocked about the blindside, he's now wondering who the hell Julie Chen Moonves and Brent are. Totally cracked me up ;)

monty924 said...

Funny, Wendy!!! I'd love to see it, but we can't upload memes here unless you save it and make it your avatar :))

Very funny Wendy, and worth making your Avatar!

Seemed like the houseguests this year liked each other more than in the past. No one played it 'big'for the camera (although I still wonder about Sam - is she playing crazy). Also this season was more enjoyable because we saw a successful alliance. They actually stuck together (for the most part) and didn't spill the beans at the first chance they got. And with all these 'reality' shows, what makes it to the show depends a lot on editing, and for some reason they have just given us a clean, fun show to watch this time. (I will not visualize curb stomping)

Auntie Leigh said...

Poor "Brent". Reminds me of the days when Chenbot seemed like she did not even watch the show. Why do you all think Kaycee would go to a final-2 with Tyler over Angela? js This is the best season ever IMO. So nice not to have a total psycho roaming the halls. And watch for Glenn Allen who is braving the elements in Wilmington. Hope he and his dad are ok.

5 hours of reruns. Must be the backyard concert with the pop star I've never heard of. ... I'm getting too old.

Sharon N said...

Auntie Margaret hits it on the head...a band was seen setting up.
What or who the heck is BeBe Rexha? LOL

I must be getting too old also.

Sharon N said...

Ok, pulled up Bebe Rexha's website. Although I tend to keep up with most of the popular artists/singers, I didn't remember her name.
My daughter said she was a guest coach on either Voice or American Idol, and was a writer before singing her own material. I didn't remember hearing any of them... except one she co-recorded with Florida Georgia Line.

New thread up.

I think one of the Voice coaches brought Bebe Rexha on the show as a team coach for one segment Sharon...
