Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Monday Morning - Sept. 17

Sam spent a long time under the foosball table

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Final Five:
  • Strategy-wise, there is very little going on.
  • JC has been told he's safe this week. But he knows that unless he wins the next HoH, he's next on the hit list.
  • Sam hasn't really been told either way, but is certainly not helping her own case at all.
  • Unlike previous seasons when we've watched hamsters actively isolate a single hamster, Sam is isolating herself.
  • She spent an inordinate amount of time under the foosball table on the skywalk.
  • Now, a more savvy player might do that to eavesdrop on what's going on in the HoH room.
  • She remained there long after the HoH crowd went downstairs.
  • Sam also spent a lot of time in (what looks like) her stairs jail. She has coffee there. She eats there. She almost sent Angela for a header down the stairs there. She also told Angela a long convoluted dream story about hummingbirds carrying a baby bunny from there.
  • Plus, Sam is still being mollycoddled by BB and allowed her own private room in the Have Not room -- yeah, the one that is always locked down once the Have Nots stop. But not this season!
  • Kaycee hasn't told Sam that she won't be using the veto although Sam did go at her about it.
  • I will say that Kaycee is a very kind and patient person.
  • I would have blown up at her and told her to leave me alone.
  • In other news, Level 6/3 took a bubble bath (wearing their bathing suits) together.
  • While Angela proposed it, I would guess the idea came from the Diary Room. I'm sure they'd consider it "good tv."
  • In yet other news, after socializing, Spanish lessons, eating and generally boredom-driven conversations, there was a whipped cream fight.
  • It graduated into other foodstuffs like mayonnaise and cereal as time went on.
  • Everyone except Sam was involved in it.
  • Sam would be horrified at the wasted food and mess.
  • They likened it to the slippery mess from the Hide and Go Seek veto comp and it was just as slippery.
  • The BB voice told them to be careful as Tyler fell, Kaycee almost fell.
  • They cleaned up the mess, then themselves.
  • What was Sam doing during that?
  • She was self-exiled in her private room talking about busting everything and breaking out.
  • She is getting increasingly strange as time goes on.
  • For what sanity she might still possess, she definitely needs to get out of there.

JC is indeed irritating!!

I loved it when Tyler told him to go win something.

It's been a long season, enjoyable, but ready to wrap this puppy up!! I've gone from Sam > JC > Brett for AFP. I hope they can fill the shows up this week with some jury bits.

I feel bad for Sam..she has weird classic side effect symptoms from Chantix..my sister was even more weird.not fun..anyway AFP is Brett for me.he got hit the hardest he was so close..

One other thing, if she doesn't make final 2, I am going to give Kaycee strong consideration for my AFP.

I love Tyler for favorite player. My second choice is Kaycee
Sam is just weird and BB is letting her do anything she wants. Not fair.
She and JC need to be gone. LETS GO!!!

chrob61,
It's tough deciding AFP between the final players!! I've waffled a lot lately and it's come down to Brett, Kaycee or Tyler. They are all deserving and it will depend on what happens on Thursday.

I can't remember how much time we are given to vote after F3 is reached, but I'm thinking voting might be between Friday and ending Monday morning... which means votes would already be tallied before F2 is decided on Finale night.

Who will make it to F3. It seems a pretty sure thing that L3 will be the F3, BUT "stuff" has a way of happening. What if JC somehow wins HOH? He is mad enough at Tyler that he'd put him OTB and poof, Tyler would be gone. If Tyler is evicted, I'd give him all my AFP votes because he's been the L6 planner/glue the entire summer. If JC is evicted, then it will be between Kaycee and Brett... with Brett in the lead for his entertainment value.

Sam needs to get out of the house so she can get the help she needs. Probably some deprogramming. If I recall correctly, 5 and 4 out of the house don't go to jury until the group meeting to discuss who they will vote for and 3 never gets to discuss anything with jury. So Sam and JC's (if it is him) will have limited effect on the jury.

Here's an image I thought looked like Sam. I added the text.

Anon 12:58 - Sam is using the patch and not Chantix. Chantix is a pill and definitely does have some weird side effects, the patch does not. Sorry, we can't blame her weirdness on quitting smoking....

KC is 100% not winning AFP

Thanks to Jackie and all of the regular commenters here. This season in particular I just have had no time to do anything but read here after the fact and no pool parties. I didn't even get my name into the pool for this season! My loss. I just can't even consider Brett for AFP because I remember how cutting and mean he was in the beginning and I just don't enjoy that. He strikes me as an arrogant "mean boy" (hey, it's not only girls). I'll give him a point for loyalty but no AFP vote. Tyler or Kaycee for me. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but Kaycee's social game is the best in terms of jury management. And, of course, she's become amazing in comps lately. I love Tyler's game play overall and am a fan but don't know if he'll pull out the win or not. Whoever wins or loses, I've been entertained this season and am old fashioned in that I like the minimal meanness and trash talking this season. Most of these players really played the game, even though some didn't play it that well. Thanks again for the added entertainment here. Cheers :)

If I was Tyler I would have already blown up on JC if you want to decide who leaves win something. He thinks hes playing Paul's game from last season but hes not keeping all the players from knowing about it all of l6 know hes been a floater and at least Paul won stuff when he had to. It always amazes me when they get mad for being nominated. I'm sure it's scary but that's how the game is played

I didn't like Paul either so JC second rate version of it is really annoying

Thank for hosting this season. Best ever. I have been sick with pancreatic canser and have written any. I do enjoy reading all the comments. ie especially yours and a few of the old standbys. Thanks again . Love to you all.

Stormy,
I'm so sorry to hear of your illness and sending blessings your way.

Brandi,
JC's mostly mad because he wanted to make it through the entire game w/o being nominated...and believed that would be his ticket for the $500k. Fat chance! As you say, he'd have to win something to have that happen.

Did anyone like Paul? I suppose there were some out there... somewhere... under a rock... with him. LOL

David said...

I don't think this is the best season ever, but because of the nasty, mean, and disgusting way Paul played the game the last 2 seasons, the contrast does make this seem so much better.

Actually, I think we got lucky with the way it worked out. I think that if FOUTTE had prevailed, it would have devolved into a mean, nasty season again. Swaggy, Bayleigh, Rockstar, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Haleigh, and JC were not being nice when they thought they were in charge and I think would have got a lot worse.

Sharon N said...

David,

I think you are quite right about the theory of "if FOUTTE had prevailed."
The individual attitudes in that group didn't tend to be pleasant, so if they had progressed to the end, like you, I suspect it could have gotten pretty ugly. Even though JC was never a member of either group, he displays those tendencies, especially when his plans are thwarted.

Thanks again Jackie! I have truly loved this season! It was so nasty with the Paul and Josh seasons that I almost stopped watching and the same has been said by friends... glad we didn’t stop!

Stormy,So sorry to hear about your illness.Sending prayers.

Everyone,
Still no word from Glenn.I can tell you Wilmington where he lives, was one of the hardest areas hit. It's basically an island and cut off from everything. It's not going to get better as far as the flooding for several more days. And then the main highways in to the area will be passable,so they can get in and really start helping people. If anyone is looking for ways to help, one of our local radio morning teams are raising money.Go to acetj.com and check it out. These guys are 100% legit and every dime you give will go directly to help the people that have lost so much here in north and south Carolina. Keep Glenn and everyone here in the eastern part of the state in your prayers.

I have enjoyed this season pretty much all around for the first time in a long time.So glad they finally listened and had no returning players.I do think to make it an even better game they should do either all fans or all recruits who know nothing, the recruits really don't stand a chance against the fans..lol

ITCHY said...

Cheryl. I agree with you it should be all fans. People who really want to be there and know the game. So what if we get a room full of Scottie’s. I am also glad that the only “showmance” was taken out early. Fessy was fun to watch. I enjoy the the non slurpy durpy ongoing of Tangela. I too am in NC and hope for the best for Glenn and many other friends I have on the east coast. We have had plenty of rain up here in the mountains and it all has to go downhill.

Glenn Allen said...

Hi Cheryl and Jackie and everyone.I am safe but no power. I am staying the night at my brothers house so I can let everyone know I am safe!

Sharon N said...

Cheryl, thanks for the update on the Carolinas. The loss of life and property are tragic. I do hope we hear from Glenn in the near future, but with conditions as they are, it might be a week or two.

From what the local authorities indicated, it sounded like there were many people who learned the hurricane had dropped to a Cat 2 and stayed behind... assuming it wouldn't be as bad as projected. So sad. :(

Sharon N said...

WOW... no sooner posted and there he is.
So glad to hear from you Glenn and know you are safe!!

Thanks everyone. I was blessed a tree fell on my power line right at my back door on the porch but no damage to my house. A tree limb fell just inches from the back of my car. I am glad to see Cheryl is safe as well.

Great hearing from you Glenn. You had a lot of us very concerned for your well-being. Happy that it was just a power outage and not anything more serious!!

Thanks for letting us know you're okay, Glenn!

So relieved to hear from Glenn Allen. Looks like all of you from the Carolinas are hanging tough. Going to be a bummer for at least a few more days. Be careful.
