Big Brother 20: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - Sept. 11

JC made a 9/11 BB20 memorial

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Sunbathing Slumpsters:
  • Again, no huge news for you today.
  • I don't think you expected any anyway.
  • In the middle of the night, JC made a memorial for 9/11 in their peg wall.
  • He didn't tell anyone, so it was a surprise for them all.
  • Sam spent a lot of time with her little baggie of bits and pieces looking for something to fix the bracket for the cornhole game.
  • They expect the yard to close tomorrow.
  • So, much time was spent sunbathing and exercising.
  • Oh ... and just laying about.
  • Sam did sleep in the otherwise empty Have Not Room last night and napped in there today.
  • But I think BB will probably shut it off after Thursday.
  • Late last night Haleigh told Brett that she saw him celebrating with Kaycee, Angela and Tyler and believes they're all working together.
  • Brett denied it, saying he celebrates everyone's wins.
  • Haleigh told him she won't be campaigning because she won't be able to get three votes to stay. She also said she wasn't told this week that she's the pawn.
  • Well, she isn't the pawn.
  • Brett did his Brett thing, telling her to talk to Kaycee about the Angela/Tyler thing that she was speculating about.
  • Like that would do any good for her.
  • She doesn't want to create waves just in case she isn't the target.
  • @@
  • They both wondered if Angela is just using Tyler.
  • Haleigh told Brett that if she leaves this week, he needs to work with Tyler. After all, Tyler told her that he (Tyler) was low man on the totem pole.
  • Brett kept a straight face throughout.
  • Angela told Sam not to worry about Haleigh spending time with them, she (Sam) is fine.
  • Brett told JC that Sam has the jury in her pocket because everyone thinks the one odd vote to keep them came from her.
  • Yes, Sam, whether consciously or not, has been playing up to the jurors, often voting for them against the others, being their best buddy in their final hours in the house.
  • But I don't think Brett telling JC that has anything to do with this week. I think he's planning ahead so Sam will be targeted by JC if he wins HoH.
  • JC told Tyler that Brett's asking why Tyler isn't going to make a move to evict Angela in a double eviction.
  • Ha.
  • And on it goes ...
Sam went all curly girly today

I will not miss this at all

Kaycee seeks shade, smart Kaycee

After picking her feet, she chews her nails.

Sam is looking for a bent staple

Just wet, not straightened

I am glad that Angela is starting to catch on to Brett and JC acting weird to her. She is wondering what JC is up to. Angela wants Tyler and her and Brett to draw straws to see who goes on the block in case Sam or JC wins veto in a double if Level 6 is the HOH!

Stay safe Glenn... has your area received any kind of evacuation notice?

Is it possible that Angela is faking the relationship with Tyler? It is G-rated and what was the surprise reveal she promised Tyler in "16 days"? The name of her real-life boyfriend?

Just commenting to Auntie from the last post. Julie is taking time off from The Talk. Everyone should watch Monday's show where the other four regular hosts discussed the fallout from Sunday's news about Les Moonves departure from CBS. They all understandably love Julie as a co-worker and a friend and it looked like they were all uncomfortable discussing it, but they did and quite frankly discussed it.

Julie has said that she will be there for the Live show Thursday this week, and I think she will finish out her contract for the season. I think her husband would want her to as well. What she does beyond this season is unknown. In my opinion (mine only), BB will survive this. Another network would grab the show up in a heartbeat because it's cheap to produce and gets decent ratings for its time slot. I know there are people out there who could do the hosting, not like the original, the ChenBot, but they will find someone... I think.

Glenn..you need to evacuate my friend. Wilmington is going to get hit hard. I don't know what to expect here in Charlotte. Did you here they opened up the speedway for evacuees to stay? Please be safe!

Glenn Allen said...

Thanks Sharon. The beaches near me have a mandatory evacuation. Right now City officials in Wilmington are telling us to make our preparations. They said if we stay in town try to have supplies for 7 days. My dad lives less than 5 mins from me and has a generator so I might go to his house. Since the Hurricane is so huge it is still expected to hit deep into our state so making it hard for people to evacuate.

monty924 said...

*should have said 'discussed it very frankly or they were very frank in discussing it

Glenn Allen said...

Thanks Cheryl. I had not heard that about the Speedway. I have been thinking about and praying for you in Charlotte. I also have a lot of friends that live in Raleigh I have been praying about!

Glenn, you know you're in my prayers from the last post.

I'm also touched that JC did what hid did on the pin board wall. NEVER FORGET

Cheryl in NC said...

Yea we are watching the weather channel 24/7.Already filled up the car and got supplies ready if we loose power. The bad thing is I am supposed to fly out to Nashville Friday night..but that's not looking promising.

Glenn Allen said...

Thank You so much Monty. I agree about JC's message on the Pin board wall. I was surprised.

Glenn Allen said...

Hopefully you can make it out to Nashville on Friday night. I know the weather reports said it's possible the Storm could possably stall off the coast or at sea.

Angela will be the replacement nominee unless she is the HOH in double eviction then Tyler will be. Angela said if it is her on the block against JC she will call out her own alliance in her speech and tell him about level 6. Brett said Sam would still be in house but Angela said it would still be 4 against 1.

Glenn Allen said...

It sounded like Tyler and Angela admitted their unspoken final 2. Angela told Tyler we have never spoken about the final 2 and Tyler said we can not let those words come out of our mouths even in a diary room session. Angela said yes if I ever said those words it would probably be heard from the diary room. Angela said Kaycee knows that they are a threesome and that Brett is beneath her.

Cheryl in NC said...

Yea Monty..i don't like
Jc but that was a cool tribute he did. #neverforget

Glenn Allen said...

Tyler just told Kaycee about Brett telling Tyler in the Storage room about trying to get out Angela or Kaycee in the double eviction. Kaycee agreed to a backdoor on Brett. Tyler and Kaycee would let Angela know at the last minute.

Tyler really seems to be working with KC. He's always tells her the most out of everyone and she's the only one he really talks end game with. But KC is the one out of L4 that he could possibly lose to. I don't get it, he's smarter than that. Unless he's playing her, but it doesn't seem that way. And Brett totally screwed himself. Possible BD plan in effect for DE.

For all of you in the path of hurricane Florence...my nephew is a lineman and him and his crew left out Sunday night for SC to start restoring power and making their way north when needed in NC and possibly VA. Sending prayers to all who live there. My son is in Chesapeake VA and they have started mandatory evacuation yesterday for area A. God Bless

RJM in SC said...

Be prepared and stay safe my North and South Carolina friends. Wondering what Tyler and Angela may come home to if Hilton Head is hit hard.

CherryPie -- Kiss your nephew for me.

I forget when it was, or what the disaster was, but once long ago I evacuated to a hotel when we lost power and were told it would be weeks before we'd get it back. I had a well, so in addition to no lights or heat, I had no water. I had tried melting snow on my little camper stove, but finally gave up when I ran out of fuel, and I decamped to a hotel that had generators. I arrived late at night, and got a room in the back.

The next morning I was awakened before the sun was up by the sound of dozens of large trucks starting up just outside my window. I was very annoyed. I looked out the window, and found that the entire back lot was row after row of electric company cherry-picker trucks! There had to be at least 50 of them! I saw trucks from all the surrounding states, and even a few from Canada.

I still remember how it felt. I think I know a little bit of how a resident of a war-torn village feels seeing a liberating army march over the hill into town. Visiting linemen are the unsung heroes of disaster recovery.

Tyler would want to work with KC not because he'd relish being next to her in F2, but to protect himself from eviction going forward. He's smart enough to see that she's a serious force to reckon with. She wins so often that she might consider going after him if they aren't on the same page.

Glenn and Cheryl, special prayers for NC. and anyone else that is in the path of this storm. I was raised in Jacksonville and Wilmington. I go back every summer to visit family in both towns. I've been through Andrew in 92...it was Armageddon! I evacuated 4 hours from the eye of the storm and it still wasn't enough. Infrastructure was a mess, no power, no plumbing, that means no flushing toilets, two weeks...ran out of food and supplies after 4 days, house had 15 people in it. Very bad! Job was taken from me for the minimum of 6 mos. Went home to NC and never went back...to live that is. So I know the devastation first hand. I'm scared for my family, some are choosing to stay in Wilmington and Jacksonville, some are going to Tennessee and Kentucky to be with other family. So my prayers will be with you all too!

Silk, that is so very true. We had an ice storm in the winter of 2003 here in Ohio and some areas of my county were without power for two weeks. I'd been stranded in Columbus driving home from Findlay, OH on Saturday night because of snow and both my boyfriend and mother back home were telling me not to try to come home that night. Columbus was slammed with over a foot or two of snow starting Saturday night and continuing all day on Sunday. Practically the entire state was shutdown by order of the Governor and no traffic was allowed on the state highways. My Mom was without power from the ice storm and my brother and I were very concerned for her. He called me Sunday night at my sister's house and said he was heading south Monday morning if I wanted to follow him down. I was afraid we'd be stopped by the State Patrol but he had called and they said to take it slow and that we wouldn't be impeded from getting to my mother's house two hours south of Columbus.

On the route home we were about the only two cars on the highway. About 35-40 minutes from home, we were in the midst of the largest convoy of power company lineman trucks either of us had ever seen. We stopped for a break at a gas station and my brother looked at me and said, "Do you get the feeling that we are riding into town with the Calvary"? That's exactly what it felt like. We also counted trucks from about five states and Canada. It was amazing. They're unsung heroes for sure in times like that. <3

Thanks Jenna! I have been through many Hurricanes before in Wilmington. This looks like the biggest. I was blessed to be able to get 48 bottles of water and a 12 pack of canned pepsi. Supplies are running low!

Glenn Allen...try to stay in touch and let us know how you and your dad are doing. You are right in the thick of it but you are right, Charlotte is 4 hours away and they are bracing even there. Years ago I used to go to Wrightsville Beach every summer. I will be watching for word of you at the pool tomorrow and hope you don't lose power and miss the show.

CherryPie said...

Thanks Silk I'll relay your post to him and give him a big kiss when he gets back. I just happen to be with his mom as she had surgery and I'm staying with her.

Send prayers to all the linemen and I'll be sending prayers to all in the hurricane's path.

I'm in NC as well. I am on the NC/VA border at Lake Gaston. The last few days have lessened the large threat of Florence, but we still are concerned with downed trees and loss of power. That's a drop in the bucket for what our coastal friends and family are facing. Most of my family is in the Morehead City area and have evacuated to Williamsburg VA. Hope that is far enough. I may not post very much, but I've been following Jackie since the AOL days. Everyone be safe!
