BB25: Season Premiere Blog Party!

Welcome one and all! Tonight is the season premiere of a milestone season! Who would have thought we'd be in the 25th season? I appreciate those who have been with me through the AOL Message Board and Chat days, the Weblogs.Inc, TVSquad and AOL TV days as well as the new folks who have joined in.

We have 90 minutes of show tonight, then the live feeds will start after the show airs on the West Coast. The live feeds will also be available on Pluto TV this year, but I don't know how that works. My first live feeds report won't be up until tomorrow. Oh ... and the season finale won't be until November! Eep.

CBS BB has announced a 17th mystery hamster will also be in the house. Whether a returning hamster, someone from another show, a D-List celeb, I don't know. They have been saying for more than a few months no returning players, all new cast. I'm thinking it might be Cirie from Survivor. She wanted to be on the show more than her son! We will see.

But first ... the blog pool is still open for the joining! We have no show tomorrow night, so no immediate eviction. The blog pool cut-off is Friday, so if you haven't joined in, there is still time! The sign-up post is at this link right here. Please sign up ONLY at that link!

I will be live blogging the events of tonight's show as best I can as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest updates. And, please bear with me as I try to get their names down. If you need photos/names, please check out the previous posts I made about the cast. As always, the real party is in the comments -- I hope to see you there.

Here's Julie, all dressed in summer garb and looking well! We get a few minutes of BB ins and outs, etc. To the new stuff, please.

Julie tells us it's a 100 day seasons. She says there could be "more" houseguests. Into the hamsters getting their keys now. I won't be commenting on all of it. Blue is single. We didn't know that. Onto Red. Obviously he wants to be a character. Jared now. He talks about being Cirie's son. He isn't going to tell the others about her. Mecole says she was 16 when she graduated from high school. Big deal. I was in college at 16 and I'm no genius!

I need a new paragraph! Matt, the Deafolympics guy is now. He talks very well for never hearing! He's single and willing to showmance. Izzy. Ohh, her flute degree is from Yale! Jag is up next, our Sikh Punjabi dude. He's proud of who he is ... as he should be. Reilly the bartender from Tennessee. She can talk with her mouth closed, sort of. She's single and might showmance.

Okay, those eight are with Julie near the door. They don't enter the house and are told to "sit tight" while they stand.

The next eight are introduced. Luke is first. Ah, his artwork is the link I posted in my intro post about him! Felicia, the 63 year old! I really want to like her -- the oldest woman ever in the house and only Jerry beat her in age. Hisam, speaking of older ... he's more interesting than I thought. A geriatric doctor/burlesque gay Muslim. Oh my! Cory the one with the brother who was on Survivor 44 is next. He's into public speaking. Bowie Jane is a lawyer and a DJ originally from Australia. Athletic.

New paragraph time again! America is a first generation American. Eight in her family, struggles, immersed in education at Brown University. Cameron, space cowboy, likes horses and things that go boom. He named his hair Bertha. His daughter is cute. Kirsten is up, very intelligent. Athletic. Wants a female final two. Hmm.

Now all 16 are on stage with Julie. She tells them it's 100 days. Twist? A break-in and the BB universe they think they know has changed.

She tells them Expect the Unexpected and we get the clip of Frankie, Britney and Danielle with the time machine. Julie tells the new hamsters that the BB Multiverse has cracked open, changed the house and game. Four universes. BB Comic Verse, Humili verse, Scaryverse, Scrambleverse.

Groups of four move in, peek around, go to back yard. Felicia, Red, America and Matt first in. Once in yard, they each have to pick a pink spot at one of the four multiverses. Next - Cory, Blue, Jared and Izzy green mats. Next Kirsten, Luke, Bowie Jane and Jag, yellow mats. Last four - Hisam, Mecole, Cameron and Reilly, blue mats. It's Reilly's birthday today.

The Scramble-verse globe is lighting up red -- Julie says it's about ready to scramble things up. Hmm.

First comp. She tells them the Scramble-verse has changed the game. They are not competing for HOH. Instead, nomination comp. The loser of the four comps will be nominated for eviction.

Scramble-verse - Puzzling Headlines. They have to unscramble the layout on the BB "magazine" covers and put them back in the box they came from. It's basically a big puzzle with about 12 pieces. Last will be first nominated for eviction. America first has it. Next Bowie Jane. Mecole is next. Jared is the first nominated for eviction.

The Humili-Verse is next. Kicking Butt. The lever and kicking them with a big boot, kick yourself 100 times. The guys are doing better than the girls. Blue seems to be struggling. Yikes! Matt is first done, Hisam next. Kirsten is doing poorly. Blue next. Kirsten is now nominated for eviction with Jared.

BB Comics-Verse is up. Goo-copalypse. Goo bombs. Looks messy to me! They have to connect wires to the goo box, only one way to do it. If it explodes, they are safe and have saved humanity. Jag first done, the Izzy, then Cameron. Felicia last and nominated for eviction.

Scary-verse is next. Hold on Fright. They are laying down with a huge monster hand trying to drag them away. First dragged away will be the 4th nominee and disappear into the Nether Region. When will they return? Only the Scary-verse knows. Cory loses!

So, the nominees are Cory, Jared, Kirsten and Felicia.

Julie tells them to prepare for anything. The Scramble-verse globe is still flashing red. Julie tells us the biggest surprise of the night is ahead.

Sunday is the HOH crowning show. What happened to Cory, Thursday is the eviction. No show tomorrow.

Julie tells them they had a wonderful premiere night and is that CIRIE from Survivor pouring champagne? Yes, it is! I was right!

BB22: Live Eviction, HoH Show Blog Party - Sept. 3

Out of four evictions, this is our second live show eviction. I can only hope the live feeds aren't blocked here for hours and hours like they were last week! It's bad enough that every day this week there have been extremely lengthy live feeds blocks. On the plus side of that, they're more boring than most casts anyway. So, no great loss.

If you want to see where you stand in the blog pool, you can see the latest pool standings at this post linked right here.

I will be updating this post with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast -- refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please feel free to join in on the fun!

So ... who will be going home -- Kaysar or Christmas?

Julie tells us anything can happen on eviction night. Yeah, right. Then we're into the Previously On. Ohhh ... a new room in the BB house will be revealed tonight!

"Be careful where you plant seeds of doubt," Julie says.

Kaysar knows they want him out, especially since the renom is Christmas. He mistakenly talks to Memphis about the alliance. Not a good move since Memphis is a big part of the alliance.

Enzo has caught onto Dani, but doesn't do anything about it. Cody tells Enzo about an alliance in which he's not a part. Tyler is also on the Caught Onto Dani Train. He wants to be the one to end the madness she's spreading through the house. He talks to Bayleigh about it. Now, Bayleigh is supposed to be in an alliance with Bay! Then he talks to Da'Vonne, as well.

Of course, none of this scheming will do anything to help either of the nominees on the block tonight!

Julie gives us a teaser about the newest twist -- the BB Basement -- and into commercial.

Ian talks to Kevin and tries to lay out the alliances. Ian knows he can't really count on Nicole. Kevin is happy that Ian is telling him the lowdown. Then he talks to Bayleigh. Ian is rockin' that hammock! He tells Kevin they can use Kaysar to blow things up because Kaysar has nothing to lose. So, he approaches Kaysar. Kaysar seems to be pondering it.

To the living room.

Christmas - Thanks, vote the HoH way, makes weird Christmas poem

Kaysar - Love on personal level, gameplay and strategy suck ... blows up the alliances! Yay!

The votes to evict: (forgive the weird spacing)

Cody - Kaysar

Memphis - Kaysar

Dani - Kaysar

Ian - Kaysar

Kevin - Kaysar

Da'Vonne - Kaysar

David - Kaysar

Bayleigh - Kaysar

Nicole - Kaysar

Tyler - Kaysar

So, yet another sheeple unanimous vote to evict Kaysar.

His talk with Julie is cordial. He tells her the reason he came back was to try to convince people there's a better way for the world.

HoH comp time. Backyard. Julie tells them there are no Have Nots this week. Filter Faceoff. Two at a time, podium, will see images, answer. The winner of each two will choose the next two. More, exactly, less

Ian/Kevin - Ian out

Nicole/Cody - Nicole out

Kevin/Da'Vonne - Kevin out

Cody/Memphis - Cody out

Dani/David - David out

Bayleigh/Da'Vonne - Bayleigh out

Dani/Memphis - Dani out

Tyler/Da'Vonne - Tyler out

Christmas/Memphis - Memphis out

Da'Vonne/Christmas - Da'Vonne out

CHRISTMAS IS THE NEW HOH! (Where was this comp around when she was being carried through with a broken foot on her season?)

BB Basement - comp played completely in the dark will grant three new game-changing powers.

BB22: Live Eviction, HOH Show Blog Party - August 27

Good evening! I hope you're all safe from the storm as well as the virus! I also want to take a moment to thank those folks out there who have made donations to the blog. I've been having a few difficulties with the email account linked to the Paypal site and haven't been able to send out thank you notes. However, your donations are noted and greatly appreciated!

Tonight looks like it will be the first actual live eviction show of the season. Will it be followed up by an endurance HOH comp? Hmm. If so, I'll post a separate entry to follow it on the live feeds -- if they air it on the feeds, that is. I should make mention that I'm expecting storms here this evening. We're under a severe thunderstorm warning, flash flood warnings and a tornado watch. So, if I vanish, I've lost power. Carry on!

Sadly, we will lose either Janelle or Kaysar tonight. Life just isn't fair! Although not b=my blog pool person, I am saddened at the thought of losing either of them. For the latest blog pool standings, check them out on this linked post.

I will be updating this entry with the major happenings as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- please join in on the fun!

Julie dressed up more this week, as is appropriate for the evening.

Sitting through Previously On ...

But first ... Janelle didn't earn the title of legend for nothing. We get told what a threat she is. She tells us that although Kaysar is her ride or die, she needs to fight to stay. Kaysar has never outlasted her on the block. Tyler is having second thoughts, much too late.

Bayleigh wants Janelle to stay, but doesn't want to go against the Slick Six alliance. She tells them it would mean another woman out. Da'Vonne also speaks up for Janelle to stay. But neither will make waves on their own.

Kaysar tells us he's heard it will be Janelle leaving. He would never campaign against her, but now feels the need to speak up for himself. Janelle is campaigning for votes -- she needs a total of six people on her side. Dani really wants her out. She has to win over Cody, thus Enzo.

Segment on David and his big mouth. He's walking around saying that Da'Vonne tried to flip the house against the Nicole/David vote. Da'Vonne is indignant -- she had trusted David and now David shows that he didn't trust her. It ripples through the house. Tyler is now feeling betrayed by David because David told Da'Vonne he is the one who told him. Tyler tells him that he blew up his game and now he (Tyler) will be the target next week.

With the editing so focused on them coming up with reasons to possibly keep Janelle, I can only think Janelle will be evicted/

To the living room. Julie talks to them.

Janelle - Coolest group, love you. If I can benefit your game, keep me

Kaysar - Enjoyed being here, personal level like you a lot, cane to play the game and hope to do that.

The live votes to evict:

Dani - KAYSAR

Nicole - Janelle

Enzo - Kaysar

To commercial ...

Da'Vonne - Janelle

Memphis - Janelle

Bayleigh - Janelle

Cody - Janelle

Christmas - Janelle

David - Janelle

Kevin - Janelle

Ian - Janelle

Sorry about the double spacing. Blame Blogger! Janelle is evicted. Sigh. She hugs them all except Nicole although she didn't seem too thrilled with Kevin!

The interview went well. Janelle was upbeat while Julie shed her ChenBot for JanelleFangirl. Hopefully it will be online somewhere if you missed it.

HOH Comp - Carnival Workshop, two groups of six. Nicole, Day, David, Ian, Enzo, Kaysar ... roll balls up a ramp three balls in target rotating rounds. I don't know if it will be shown on the feeds. They haven't said.

Next week is also a live show.

I will go to the live feeds, but I'm not optimistic that they'll be airing the comp. If nothing else, I'll let you know the winner when it's known.

BB21: Live Feeds into Sunday Afternoon - July 7

I had higher hopes for his behavior.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Ill Repute:

  • Y'know … maybe I'm a prude or something.
  • But I never can understand ANYONE having sex in the BB House knowing their parents may be watching, their grandparents may be watching, people all over the Internet are watching (and talking about them).
  • I know it's happened many times before.
  • But, I do not watch the live feeds to see stupid people "hook-up."
  • I don't care that they say living in there seems like they've known each other longer.
  • Where is their self-respect? Where is their dignity?
  • Sigh.
  • So, just for those who care -- Kat/Jackson, Analyse/Jack, Nick/Bella.
  • I just don't know about this season.
  • I'm just glad I don't depend on the show to make a living. Readership is down. Ratings on the show itself are down. Donations to the blog are very down. *A special thank you to those who have donated.
  • Then there's the racism aspect this season, too.
  • We wonder how they don't pick up on those traits in the interview process.
  • Well, maybe it's because it just might be inherent in production.
  • Kemi was talking to Sam and Nicole about how the Diary Room wanted her to talk and act more like what they apparently perceive a young black woman would talk and gesture like.
  • Well, kudos for her! She told them she's never talked that way.
  • Good.
  • David's been cleaning a lot. I didn't catch that he is supposed to be like a janitor or maid in the Camp ComeBack bit. So, if not, he's doing it on his own.
  • Oh, that evil nefarious David … cleaning up messes! How dare he!
  • Kat, though she is a bit loose-lipped about her talks with David, continues to try to get others to realize he's nice.
  • I think it's falling on deaf ears.
  • Ovi, Cliff and Nicole have an alliance. Um. One of them technically isn't in the game.
  • So far, Nicole is the only one really living up to what I had hoped. Ovi would had he not made a few bonehead moves. My jury remains out on Sam -- he could be so good, but he continues to kowtow to the Jacks. Cliff's irrational hatred/fear/whatever of David has turned me off to him.
  • Actually, now that I think of it … David too is living up actually beyond what I hoped for his game. He's patient to a fault, easy-going even though he's in a bad circumstance, smart and ready to compete in the game. I really hope he's the one who comes back.
  • Sorry, Ovi.
  • It's a shame she's in there with all of them.
What's she doing in this den of iniquity?

Food talk

Celebrity Big Brother: Live Feeds - HoH - into Tuesday - Feb. 20

Da Boyz in da house

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House Non-Salacious Celebs:
  • I'm still enjoying the lack of showmances and "hook-ups" with this crowd.
  • I'm also enjoying that they usually don't go around half-naked.
  • Is something wrong with me?
  • Ahem.
  • Omarosa thinks that the fans will think they're all quitters -- due to both Metta and Keshia.
  • While I do think percentage-wise the celebs are indeed more inclined to quit, I think the fact that since they aren't as hungry for money as most regular hamsters, they actually CAN quit.
  • Yet, it's evident that everyone in this house with the exception of Metta are really into actually playing the game.
  • Keshia was until she wasn't.
  • James told Ross that he doesn't think Omarosa is the best target right now because she's flying solo. But ... Ari and Brandi are working together and should be split up.
  • James also told Ross that he didn't need to use the veto as they had the votes to keep him.
  • Ha. James obviously would prefer that Brandi was gone! Of course, others felt differently -- Marissa thinks Ross "saved the whole house" with his actions.
  • All of the chamsters think Omarosa was more along the lines of Nice Omarosa in putting Metta on the block instead of another one of the alliance people.
  • Some think it was for the jury vote. But, if Metta has his way and Ross is in the finals, I think his vote will go to him.
  • Brandi thanked Omarosa for putting Metta up. After all, it almost 100% saved her in the house.
  • But we all know that, if nothing else, Omarosa didn't necessarily do it because she's a nice and caring person. She did it more for appearances and strategy!
  • We got Critter Cam for nearly four hours as they played the HoH comp.
  • And, guess what?
  • MARK is the new Head of Household!
  • They say James threw it to him because James wants the next one.
  • James said he let him win because he knows how much Mark wanted to hear from home.
  • @@
  • According to James, Brandi just gave up. I can actually see that happening. She is SO not a competition beast!
  • Ross thinks he's safe with Mark as HoH. I hope he is.
  • Mark and Ross talked about not being able to trust Omarosa.
  • Mark thinks Omarosa should go as well as Brandi and Ari.
  • Hmm.
  • Ross talked to Brandi about getting Omarosa to act out to make her even a bigger target.
  • Mark got his HoH room, goodies and photos from home.
  • You'd think they've been gone for five years the way they act!
  • It's looking like Brandi will be the main target.
  • But we'll see.

With Ross winning PoV, Mark can target her?

No buddy of Mark's!

What to do ... what to do

Safe this time? Or not ...

I'm so handsome. Just ask me!

Celebrity Big Brother: Live PoV, Eviction Show Blog Party - Feb. 19

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll be updating and live-blogging away the best I can. Refresh the post to get the latest news! For more information on how I'll be handling this season on the blog as well as the show schedule, check this post out. As always, the real party is in the comments area -- join on in!

For a change, let's start with a recap!

Julie teases us about the veto voted on and we're into the aftermath of the nominations ceremony. Omarosa wants to break up the pairs. She tells us that Ross is her target. Ross is taking it all in stride while Brandi thinks her own alliance may be turning on her.

Omarosa tells us she's planting seeds to turn alliance members against each other. And, she indeed is doing so as she questions all the final four deals going around. Now Mark is telling the others that he might go on the block. Ari thinks he might have made a deal with Omarosa and James. Aha! It begins to dawn on Ari, Marissa and Ross! They let Brandi in on it.

Ross thinks he needs to talk to Mark and James, try to get them on his side.

Now they're playing with the mics, pretending call in radio show again. It brings us to the Obligatory Omarosa White House comment of the night. One "call" was to James asking if he made a deal with Omarosa. He sidesteps.

Ross does talk to Mark and James. The editing is showing that they might just go against Omarosa's wishes. After all, James really doesn't like Brandi anyway. James talks to Marissa, but he has worries about Ari -- claiming she would win against anyone in the finals.

Mark, Metta and Marissa were randomly chosen to play for veto.

Veto comp -- VIP veto won, can use veto twice tonight.

Live Veto Comp -- Club BB -- Invitation Only -- Race on red carpet, get puzzle pieces, put puzzle together, hit button.

ROSS wins Veto! Omarosa was right behind him. Metta should have just tried to escape again he did so poorly. (But I still enjoy him on the feeds.)

Veto Meeting time!
Ross saves himself.
Omarosa nominates Metta because Metta wants to leave.
Ross doesn't use the second time (probably worried one of his allies will go home).

Live eviction time:
Metta - Thanks to BB and CBS, difficult to be away from family, love all in the house, thank you.
Brandi - Likes Metta's speech

The votes to evict:
Ross - Metta
James - Metta
Mark - Metta
Ari - Metta
Marissa - Metta

And he's gone! Bwahaha ... he got an Orwell out!

In his Julie talk he's in tears, loves the whole bunch of people. He'd like to see Ross win.

On Friday two will be evicted. On Sunday, the finale, three more will go.

BBOTT: Season Finale ... the winner is ...!

Tonight is the first and only live Julie Chen hosted show of the season! One of the final three -- Jason, Kryssie or Morgan -- will be voted the winner by America and win the grand prize. This version only has a grand prize of a quarter-million rather than a half-million. I believe second place still gets the 50 grand, but I could be wrong on that.

So, let's see which of the two win. Oh. Did I say two? I guess I did. Eh. I'll go with it. Let's see whether Jason or Morgan win ...!

I had no sound when Julie started the show. Once we went back to Jason winning HoH, the sound came back.

Mostly recapping at this point. They're doing diary room speeches with video from the season.

Speeches over, the previously evicted hamsters are brought on stage.

Neeley's opinion -- impressed with Danielle kicking it into gear.
Scott - Shelby's being a lawyer shocked him.
Monte - Sister twist was good, proud of Morgan.
Whitney - Surprised at Shelby's secret, but knew she was smart.
Alex - Her alliance was scared America would target them if they targeted Jason.
Morgan and Alex are both sure they'll be closer now.
Shelby - Live diary room helped her, didn't hurt her.

Now we see diary room highlight clips.  Julie mentions the bad language.

Justin - A clip of his dancing. Strategy or being himself. Being himself.
Shane - Sacrificed game for Danielle? Regrets? None. Now has short hair.
Danielle - In a relationship with Shane now.
Cornbread - Surprised to see Kryssie in the final three. He's blown away.

Online voting.
Alex, Whitney, Shane, Neeley and someone else voted Jason.
None voted Kryssie
Justin didn't vote.

Now it's speech time with the two minute speeches from yesterday.

Julie announces the votes have been tallied.
The 2nd prize is 25 grand, not 50.

Third place and evicted -- Kryssie. What a shocker!
Julie talks with her.

MORGAN wins!

BBOTT: Live Eviction Episode Blog Party - October 5

Well, let's hope this is a bit more exciting than last week's hamster entry fiasco!

My apologies for not posting yesterday nor earlier today. I've been a bit on the exhausted side. Yesterday, Jason saved himself with the veto and Kryssie went up on the block in his place. It's looking like Cornbread might have alienated himself with many in the house. I guess we'll see! It's Cornbread (America's nomination) along with Danielle and Kryssie on the block.

Oh, geez. It's actually the start of the season with intros such as they have for the TV show. I guess we'll see how they edit the longwinded entries from last week. Ick. I'm not going to repeat myself. The only interesting stuff so far is Diary Room reactions and the fact that there's not fifteen minutes between each hamster entering the house.

It looks like they've strung all of the daily recap videos together to make this show.

I realize I'm not saying much. But I've already reported most of this stuff before. Now Jason is noticing that Morgan and Alex look alike.  Now it's the BB Bug being passed around.

I'm not really liking how they're handling this show. They're acting like it's a television show when it's not. It's an online show with only live feeds viewers watching. We've already seen this stuff. While it's quasi-interesting to see how they edit it, add in music and such ... we've already seen it!

The first Safety Ceremony is done and over. We've seen it before.

Now Danielle likes Shane (after liking Justin first). Shane likes her. too. Kryssie breaks down, not the best strategy.

Safety Ceremony number two. We know whose badges won't light. Get on with it. Surprise, surprise! Jason and Danielle are nominated. Jason is Monte's target while Danielle is purely the pawn.

Oh my gosh! A commercial! Oh. Only about ten seconds for Julie's evicted houseguest tomorrow.

Julie tells them that America will nominate a third person.

Veto pick time is time for the third nominee announcement. It's Cornbread. But we knew that.

Jason wins veto. We knew that, too. Jason saves himself and Monte puts Kryssie up in his place.

Another message from Julie. She tells them that America will have a vite for eviction. They will not be told whom America picks.

Ah, the live eviction, obviously not a repeat of what we know.

Danielle wants to stay. CB has had a ball, hopes to stay and have more fun. Kryssie says it's time for her to win, not done here yet.

Monte hosts, not Julie.

The votes to evict:
Neeley -- Cornbread
Jason -- Cornbread
Whitney -- Cornbread
Morgan -- Cornbread
Justin -- Cornbread
Shelby -- Cornbread
Scott -- Cornbread
Alex -- Danielle (for paranoia)
Shane -- Cornbread

Eight hamster votes for Cornbread, plus America's vote for him -- Cornbread is the first evicted hamster on BBOTT.
