Regarding BB Reindeer Games

CBS

Monday night is the debut of the Big Brother Reindeer Games holiday series. While I won't be live-blogging the six shows per se, I will set up posts on show nights and may occasionally chime in with updates and screen shots.

There are a few reasons I'm not committing to actual in-depth live blogging the shows. First, we went from a ridiculously long and intense BB25 season into The Amazing Race and Survivor as I blogged all three for a month and am still tied up with the latter two! Plus, I had a bad case of Covid back in September and am still affected by it. And, third ... this is all competitions. Competitions are hard to blog. Believe it or not, it's not easy to be constantly typing while watching a show!

But, since there have been requests, I will put up posts so y'all can go wild updating and partying in the comments area.

CBS

There are only six shows. Here is the schedule:

Monday, December 11 - 9pm-11pm ET/PT
Tuesday, December 12 - 9pm-10:30pm ET/PT
Thursday, December 14 - 8pm-9pm ET/PT
Monday, December 18 - 9pm-10pm ET/PT
Tuesday, December 19 - 9pm-10pm ET/PT
Thursday, December 21 - 8pm-9pm ET/PT
Derek Xiao and Tiffany Mitchell of BB23 and BB11 winner Jordan Lloyd will be hosting the shows. Competing for the $100,000 prize, we have:

Cody Calafiore (BB16 and BB22)
Nicole Franzel (BB16BB18 and BB22
Frankie Grande (BB16)
Taylor Hale (BB24)
Cameron Hardin (BB25)
Brittany Haynes (BB12 and BB14)
Josh Martinez (BB19)
Xavier Prather (BB23)
Danielle Reyes (BB3 and BB7)

All of them were winners or AFP on their seasons except Danielle and Frankie. Of course, I welcome Danielle into anything BB -- she should have won BB3 had the voting players been sequestered! Um, Frankie? No comment.
There will be NO live feeds; the shows are taped. They apparently did not live together at the BB house which has been done over as Santa's Lodge. The kitchen is now the bakery, HOH room is the office, all is festive and holly-jolly. Some comps will have them going to places like the Candy Cane Forest, Santa's Workshop and Santa's Village.  Each episode consists of three competitions, the last of which determines which player will be eliminated.
So, the first post will be up and running Monday evening. Be there or Santa don't care!

BB25: Live Feeds Saturday, Power of Veto Comps - Oct. 14

Sometimes the pawn goes home.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Discombobulated Donkeys:

  • Wait! Did I just call them jackasses? How rude of me!
  • Wait! What's with the "Power of Veto CompS" in the title?
  • Yep. That's the twist -- two separate POV comps, two separate POV winners.
  • Well, maybe one person could win both. Although, from what they've been saying it sounds like the winner of the first comp will sit out the second one.
  • Everybody plays in the first veto comp.
  • Not sure on the second one.
  • So, with the two comps and the probable veto player pick for the second one (maybe), the feeds are down for most of the day.
  • I won't be posting this entry until I have the results.
  • But first ... a bit from before the feeds went down.
  • The feeds went down around 2:45PM ET, enough time for a bit of drama for the mamas.
  • Blue is SURE that either America or Cory won HOH and put her on the block.
  • She's made the rounds asking Matt and Jag to save her with the veto if one of them wins it.
  • They nodded their heads.
  • Blue told Matt and Cirie that she's a better competitor than Felicia.
  • Um, well. No. Felicia did win an HOH even if it was a crap shoot one.
  • Blue hasn't won a comp yet.
  • Jag has told just about everybody except the nominees and Cirie he won the secret HOH.
  • Way to go, Jag!
  • Why can't ANYONE this season other than Cirie keep their mouths shut?
  • Meanwhile, although Jag is dead-set on targeting her, Blue had been super loyal to him.
  • She wants to target Cory.
  • Matt is getting a bit better at being devious. He told Felicia that he's worried that either he or Jag will go on the block if the veto is used.
  • Jag told Bowie he would throw the veto to her if it's the both of them at the end.
  • Like she would want that! She didn't want her HOH and tried to throw it.
  • That will just make her throw it well before the end.
  • 9:40PM ET, the feeds return.
  • Matt, Cirie, America and Cory seen, none wearing the veto necklace.
  • It sounds like the first comp was physical, perhaps standing or swinging on ropes.
  • I THINK Matt started to say to Cory that Jag ... but the feeds immediately cut.
  • I'm not even sure both comps were played.
  • Still waiting for the feeds to re-return.
  • They're back. Neither Blue nor Bowie Jane wearing the necklace. The POV necklace is next to Blue's bed, though.
  • Jag's arm or shoulder is sore.
  • Cory made some comment that they're screwed now.
  • Oh my, could the first POV be won by BLUE?
  • Bowie Jane said to Blue and Jag that they both looked like they were never going to fall.
  • So, it's one or the other.
  • Sidenote: They use Wonder bread in the BB House. It helps a body grow 12 ways, y'know.
  • Blue won the first POV comp. I think it was the first one. I may be wrong.
  • UPDATE: Jag won the other veto comp.
  • Felicia has some sort of punishment locked in the Comic Room for 24 hours with a tent around her toilet.
  • Laters.
She finally put the necklace on.

And Bowie Jane keeps on smiling.

Matt's getting a bit better at lying.

Why don't you get a bullhorn and announce it?

Is SURE that Cory or America is HOH!

BB25: Live Feeds into Thursday - Sept. 14

Izzy is a worried piggy.

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of the Day After Waffle Wednesday:
  • Yes. Waffle Wednesday is over.
  • And, true to form, they waffled.
  • Now it seems the vote will be to evict Izzy 3 to 6.
  • The three votes for Izzy to stay will be Cirie, Jared and Blue.
  • Blue made a pact in the first few days of the game not to vote to evict any LBGTQ folks.
  • Although, she did go against that pact with the Hisam vote.
  • Cameron made many valid points about the power structure in the house when talking with others.
  • And Cameron has finally realized that his best trusted buddy bro Jared is in with Cirie, Felicia and Izzy.
  • While the tide has turned, I don't think Cameron himself has picked up any long-lasting love or alliances with those who will vote Izzy out.
  • Other than America, the others seem to be a bit taken aback by how he talks to them.
  • Unless he changes his demeanor with others, he will be out soon.
  • The plan for tonight is to claim that Izzy is the stronger player which is why she went.
  • If they can get Cameron on the block or up as a renom after this week, they will use the same reasoning.
  • They all did get to feast at midnight with Cameron even bringing down his HOH goodies and his White Claws.
  • Tonight is starting an hour earlier than usual! Remember that. And, usual will become that 8PM ET/PT time from now on.
  • The wall comp is the HOH tonight. I'm thinking America, Mecole or Blue could do well if any WANT the win. Of the guys, Jag and Cory might stand the best shot. I don't think either really want the HOH right now. But people need to stop throwing comps.
  • Laters!

America's glee feeds into Cam's ego.

Should do well on the wall.

Which way should he vote?

What's with the off the shoulder?

When will the gamer come out?

BB25: Live Eviction Show Live Blogged Blog Party - Aug. 24

Good evening! Tonight either Hisam or Cameron will get the boot! I'm sure that the show editing will try to deceive us ... as it always does. Will there be a blindside? Will the evicted hamster already know his imminent demise? Maybe. I guess we'll see.

CBS Big Brother has announced that the epic return of the 'Pressure Cooker' competition will indeed air on the live feeds. I took a nap and will be posting a constantly updated HOH endurance coverage post for it. Just refresh the blog right after the East Coast show airs (10PM ET, 7PM PT) to catch the post! I doubt we will see a 14-hour comp like we did in BB6. But, again ... we will see!

I will be live blogging the show as it airs here on the East Coast. As I will constantly be updating, refreshing this page will give you the latest happenings. As always, the real party is in the comments section. I hope to see you there!

But first ... let's get that blog pool posted. Here is where the blog pool stands going into tonight's show:

Cory - Sharon N, Nickelpeed, Indiana Jane, deaflady
Felicia - Dr Celine, Auntie Leigh, NoraM, T-Town Chick
America - Andi, Joanne Victoria, Willie J, Caela

Mecole - cctru, Lili, Marthalight, MikesGirl, quixoticelf
Cirie - Petals, Janice, Krysta, RJM in SC, Skyriverblue

Blue - monty924, Judi Sweeney, Jennifer, Don
Jared - Bizaro22, TBone, PDX Granny, Fred aka TwoBlackAces

Hamster watchers ready?

Oh my, Julie is fluffy, ruffley and flowery tonight. We'll sit through the recap.

We pick up the action after the veto meeting. Julie tells us alliances have crumbled and new ones have formed. Can Hisam handle the truth? Cameron thinks he's safe. Matt knows Hisam was campaigning against him and it will also be revenge for Reilly.

Hisam is feeling hurt. He says he is a king and should fight for himself. Felicia tells him she had an opportunity that she will probably never get again. He feels betrayed and looks confused and hurt. He tells her he's moving through the hurt. He tells us the move is stupid.

Then he talks with Izzy. He tells her he knows Cirie and her both know. Izzy tells him that she feels sick and just did her job to make him feel comfortable. She will not be told what to do and be called a leftover. She tells him that America said he said he was stuck with them.

He tells us it was a mistake and it wasn't his intention to change sides. He does admit to Izzy he was wrong. He tells us he betrayed them and needs to find a way to stay in the game.

Julie hints at a flip before we go into commercial.

Julie tells us Hisam's choices are to seek revenge or seek redemption. He tells us they are his family and he wants to work with them. He will try to earn their forgiveness and trust. He starts making his rounds with Felicia. She tells him he has some time to try to change people's minds. But she tells us "you reap what you sow."

So, the rounds have started. First Izzy. Family, have mercy, forgive me, give me a chance to be better, will let bygones be bygones. Izzy does feel bad. She accepts their apology and he asks for a hug. Then it's on to Cirie. Same talk with her. She asks about revenge. He knows if he stays, he will be the biggest target in the house. Cirie tells us teary-eyed that she has to take it into consideration ... he's redeemable.

Now Felicia, Cirie and Izzy are talking about maybe sending Cameron home instead. They decide to talk to Hisam. Felicia tells him she needs to know he won't come after her. They hug. Izzy suggests a new start. He tells us he is fiercely loyal and fiercely protective, will make sure they are protected and loyal. The flip suggestion is on. The three have to look outside the Professors to make the flip work. They believe him. Cirie says flipping would alienate so many others in the house.

We're heading to the living room.

Cameron - Tells Hisam interesting week. Shout-out. Closer to all the HG, love you.

Hisam - Shout outs, time to reflect. Multiple mistakes. Asking to have kindness, generosity and loyalty. Always on your side.

Votes to evict --
Red - Hisam
Jag - Hisam
Bowie Jane - Hisam
Blue - Hisam
To commercial ...
Matt - Hisam
Cirie - Hisam
America - Hisam
Izzy - Hisam
Cory - Hisam
Jared - Hisam
Mecole - Hisam

Yep, another unanimous vote (with cause this time). Hisam is evicted. Fake hugs all around time. But he does seem a bit sincere, hugs Izzy, Felicia and Cirie a bit more than the others. He goes to the stage with his rather annoying ha-ha-ha-ha laugh. I don't know anyone who actually laughs by going ha-ha-ha. The Scary globe goes  red. Kaysar shows up. Tells them it's their turn for the Pressure Cooker, the ScaryVerse makes it even tougher, good luck, you'll need it.

Interview time. Ha-ha-ha. He thinks he trusted the wrong people. Ha-ha-ha. Julie says his HOH was referred to as a dictatorship. He says he wanted all of them to make it. He's a doctor. Listening to what people had to say, blinded. Julie tells him about Cirie/Jared. He didn't know and says it makes sense ... they look alike. He says good for them, hope they go to the end. He thinks they are doing a good job. Goodbye messages from Cirie, Izzy, Matt, Blue. Matt's wasn't really nice, a three strikes bit but polite. To me, Blue was much more rude than need be.

We will get an America's Vote. Comic-Verse, one hamster gets a super power, top four compete, power is to save one evicted hamster (not ones already out). It will come to fruition next Thursday.

The comp is starting. They are in a large enclosure - "Revenge of the Pressure Cooker" -- finger on button, no sitting, no kneeling, can swat, can only leave box when three are out. They each have to take a numbered card on the way out, some are good, some bad. It's dark and we go to a night vision cam.

BB25: Live Feeds Power of Veto Meeting Over - Aug. 14

It was a tense time ...

Here's what's been happening inside that Big Brother House of Blasting Adoptable Pets Feed Block Music:

  • Yeah, turn that stuff DOWN, BB Production!
  • The Veto Meeting was held today, blocked to the live feeds, of course.
  • And with deafening blaring theme music.
  • It went down result-wise as expected -- Hisam did not use the veto and Cameron/Reilly remain on the block.
  • What most didn't expect, nor did it go over well, was that Hisam apparently was needlessly cruel in his speech declaring Reilly the target.
  • Cirie feels that he kicked Reilly while she was already down.
  • With the exception of Cameron, all seemed a bit set aback by Hisam's harsh treatment of Reilly.
  • That just makes the target on Hisam, even from his own alliance, that much bigger.
  • I do think most, perhaps everyone except Matt, will cave in and vote out Reilly.
  • Sure, NOW Hisam apologizes to her and tells her that it was never his intent to be unkind. @@
  • I personally would rather Reilly stay over Cameron.
  • But they don't ask me what to do!

On his hair alone, I would vote him out.

Reading the Bible

He thinks they can't do without him.

BB25: Live Feeds Sunday into Monday - Aug. 14

How would he play on his own?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Long Feed Blocks:

  • The mess continues to get messier.
  • Jared thinks Cirie is playing too hard and fast. After all, Survivor would be half over by now yet BB has just started.
  • Cirie went into a deal with Jag and Reilly.
  • Or she didn't.
  • Hisam's game of "integrity, inclusivity and trust" is rubbing his own people the wrong way.
  • Like Reilly before him, he has developed a severe case of HOHitis.
  • Izzy, not one to want to "obey" any man, is really irked at him. She feels he is using his principles as a weapon.
  • She thinks he doesn't even give Mecole or Bowie a moment to talk before shutting them down.
  • No respect!
  • Jag and Reilly tried to make a deal with the devil, er ... Cirie
  • Actually, Cirie would prefer Reilly stay over Cameron. But if voting to keep her will put her in a spot, nope.
  • The Professors had a party with Hisam's HOH wine -- the first alcohol imbibing I've seen this season.
  • Hisam is so good at judging other people that he should realize the tide is changing in the way they are thinking of him.
  • Jared thinks it's too soon for Cirie to target Hisam. They have a lot of days left to play and he will be a larger target than them.
  • Jared, on a personal level, is worried about Matt and how Matt pretty much only talks to Reilly and Jag.
  • Cory talked to us.
  • Or to himself.
  • He is really clicking with Jared but feels it would be dangerous for Jared to go to the end -- he's too good a player.
  • Cory still doesn't see the family resemblance between Jared and Cirie.
  • While the Reilly side of the house has definitely imploded, I see cracks appearing on the Professor side.
  • No one else went to the Nether Region after Bowie returned.
  • We don't know what consequences Bowie has.
  • Jared and Cory call others "bro" and "dude" too much regardless of gender.
  • Yeah, that last one is my personal irk.
  • Anyway, it still looks like Hisam will not use the veto and that Reilly will be out the door on Thursday.
  • Veto Meeting later today.
  • Laters!
On a side note -- I'm so old. (How old are you?) I'm so old that I recognized the houses in last night's episode. The one on the left was the set of the last Douglas family home in My Three Sons. So the BB hamsters never made it off the lot.

What if you gave a party and no one had fun?

Sitting in a corner talking to himself.

Wants Character of the Season award.

Has friend updating her Instagram with daily outfits.

Always watching and listening.

What did she bring back from the Nether Region?

Making a deal with the devil?

Big Brother: BB24 Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Sept. 14

Good evening, hamster fans! Tonight's show will be the veto comp and the veto meeting. At least I think all of that will air! Please don't post any spoilers in the comments before they air on the show.

I will be live-blogging and updating this entry constantly as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

I will just sit through the Previously On segment. Here I am, watching things we've already seen ...

Okay. that's over. We pick up after the Nominations Ceremony. Brittany thinks she needs to get clarification from Monte as she was in a final four plan with him, Michael and Taylor. He tells her he knows there was a final three deal with the girls. She claims that was fluff, nothing really. He tells her the trust is loss. She knows she told Turner and he had to tell Monte.

She tells him she doesn't think anyone wants to talk game with her until the veto. She feels on the outs. She tells us the only way she could be safe is by winning the veto.

Filler bit about Turner and the ZingBot's zing about him not being clean. He has cleaned his bed and belongings as well as himself. Alyssa tells us he needs to learn how to do his own dishes.

Monte talks to Taylor, saying the shot needs to be made against (his buddy) Turner. He tells us that she will have to win the veto and take Brittany down forcing him to renom Turner.

Monte tells Turner that if one of the nominees are saved, Taylor would go up. He tells Turner that he wants the noms to stay the same. He tells us that he wants both Taylor and Turner to stay.

More filler -- what would you do with the bread? Taylor wants simple things -- car, dog, life. Alyssa would retire her mother because she has always had to work so hard, she herself could start a business. Monte would set up an account to help invest in his parents and help his little brother. Brittany would adopt children as she can't have children. She wants a family. Turner would give a lot of it to his mother and open a "Coffee Shack" business, buy a ring for his girlfriend.

Early time for the veto comp -- they get a two-minute warning to be in the backyard to compete. If they don't make it in two minutes, they can't play in the veto. Monte dawdles as he "has a routine to get his day started." Oopsie! He is disqualified and cannot play for veto.

He wants Turner to win, doesn't want to nominate Turner or Taylor. Giant cuckoo clocks are missing gears and they each have to get them working. It's a 27-gear puzzle.

Taylor wants to win and take Brittany down so Turner would go up. Both girls would then vote Turner out. Then Brittany tells us SHE has to win. They are all tired. No spoiler, but these are night owl hamsters. This was around five in the morning their time. Alyssa doesn't seem to grasp the concept of gears.

Brittany seems to be doing the best, wait Turner is almost there. WAIT, Brittany won the Power of Veto! She yelled "for Michael" when she won. Turner is shocked about that. Taylor is worried.

Brittany is ecstatic -- she now will make the Final Four. Monte is down and goes back to bed.

Turner tells Alyssa he thinks Brittany and Taylor will pitch him going out. Alyssa considers Turner her best friend in the house. She doesn't want him to be on the block.

Turner tries to go talk with Monte ... but he's already asleep. Taylor tells Brittany that she thinks Monte will put her up because he wouldn't want "the blood on his hands with Turner."

Brittany thinks they need to talk to Monte. Poor Monte. What a quandary he's in because he needed to do his morning routine!

Brittany talks to Monte first. He tells her he's happy she won the veto. Lies! Brittany tells us that if Monte doesn't put up Turner, her target would change from Turner to Monte. He lies to her again and tells her he and Turner aren't that close. From the look on his face, she doesn't seem to be convincing him.

He tells us she's like a suburban mob boss talking to him. He will do what he wants to do. He says to her that he hasn't made his decision yet.

Then Turner gets to talk to him. Monte tells him that he will NOT be putting him on the block. He still wants to keep Taylor and Turner. So, that means he wants to do Taylor as the renom and Alyssa's time in the house would be done if it's a tie vote.

Taylor talks to Monte now. He tells her he felt that Brittany was strong-arming him. He also says that she would be more likely to vote Turner out than Turner would be voting her out. She does her own guilt trip on him, telling him that if she goes on the block she just won't be able to trust him.

Time for the Veto Meeting. Of course, Brittany saves herself. Monte puts Taylor up as the renom. Based on his safety for next week. Brittany tells us Monte is putting Turner's game over hers and Taylor's. I say it's over Brittany's and Alyssa's. Turner tells us he might have to vote to keep Alyssa and put the tiebreaker up to Monte.

Big Brother: BB24 Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 17

Good evening, hamster fans! Tonight's show will be the veto comp and the veto meeting. Please don't post any spoilers in the comments before they air on the show! And, while we're here -- remember, tomorrow's show is two hours starting at 9PM EDT.

I will be live-blogging and updating this entry constantly as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Previously on ... and on and on. I wish the narrator wouldn't call Terrance "Showtime." Gah. We are told there will be prizes and punishments at the veto. And, are there cracks in the Leftovers?

Taylor tells us her target is Terrance. She hints to the others that Monte is her backdoor target. He's not that at all. The action picks up after Nominations. Terrance has been on the block four times now. He says it doesn't get easier, you just learn to pack faster. Taylor tells Terrance that Monte is her real target.

Taylor tells Indy she will take her down with the veto if she can. She tells us that she doesn't want a woman to go first into the jury house.

The Flyswatters is the fake alliance that Joseph, Kyle and the girls (not Taylor) are in. Jasmine thinks Joseph is dumb and they are using him to influence Taylor. Instead, he tells Taylor the truth. He thinks the option for renom would be Alyssa. Taylor is not keen on that idea.

Terrance corners Joseph and tries to get him to commit saving him with the veto if he wins it. He says that he wants it used for either to force Taylor to make a renom. Joseph reports back to Taylor. Joseph tells Taylor that he could go up as a renom.

Taylor tells us she likes the idea. She could take Indy down, put Joseph up and Terrance goes home. Michael tells us that the idea is horrible -- four outside the alliance who could go up!

Michael tells Brittany and he's pondering getting Joseph out. Oh my. Michael thinks Joseph is playing both sides of the house to benefit his own game.

Time to pick veto players. Taylor draws Houseguest's Choice and chooses Alyssa. Terrance draws Jasmine. Indy draws Kyle.

Monte thinks that Indy is a bigger comp threat than Terrance is and she should go out this week. The Leftovers talk. Turner thinks they have one person who won't win a comp (Terrance) against one who could. Taylor seems to have changed her mind and is now okay with Indy going.

The backyard has a stage, amps and giant guitar for the comp. They have to send a ball down the guitar neck. Eliminated, smash a guitar and get a prize. But those eliminated after you can swap. It's Punkaroo. The only Leftovers playing are Kyle and Taylor.

Kyle 5 points
Alyssa 4 points
Taylor 2 points
Jasmine 3 points
Indy 5 points
Terrance 0 points

Terrance's prize is the Veto. The second round starts.

Taylor 4
Kyle 14 yikes!
Alyssa 7
Jasmine 2
Indy 0

Indy gets Ink 182. It's temporary tattoos. She takes the veto from Terrance.
Round three starts.

Kyle 5
Alyssa 4
Taylor 0
Jasmine 3

Taylor gets a trip to London. She keeps it. She is hoping Kyle wins.

Round four
Alyssa 0
Jasmine 3
Kyle 4

Alyssa gets Skid and Fancy -- tethered together with another as punk rocking couple. She takes the London trip from Taylor. Taylor had already told people she wanted the trip and might have to make a renom.

Last round
Jasmine 2
Kyle 5

Jasmine gets $5,000. She trades for London from Alyssa.

Kyle gets a Punkitard. He takes the veto from Indy.

KYLE WON THE POWER OF VETO.

Alyssa is now worried about the taking of the prize from Taylor may put her on the block. She doesn't want Kyle to use the veto. Joseph tells Taylor he wants Alyssa up and out. Now Taylor thinks she needs to put Alyssa up. Michael thinks it would be dumb but he tells us that, not Taylor. Taylor tells us the Kyle MUST use the veto.

They are skipping the veto meeting and saving it for tomorrow's show.

Big Brother: BB24 HoH Comp, Nominations Show Blog Party - August 14

Good evening! I've been enjoying some more reasonable temperatures here in the NJ/NYC area. We could use some rain although our drought is nowhere near what it has been in some of the Western states.

Tonight's show will be the HOH and nominations. They began the Wall HH comp as the show ended on Thursday. Jasmine was down before the show signed off.  Although many of us already know the results of the veto comp, shhhh. This is a show post -- no spoilers!

I will be live-blogging, updating this entry as the show airs here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest update! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Previously On ... and on.

Don't forget the Wall comp is Conspiracy Fest. We'll see Jasmine fall first once again. We have lots of Diary Room sessions before we get the real action. There -- Jasmine is down. A weird voice shouts out conspiracies as they get gooped on. Sigh ... back to pre-comp Alyssa/Kyle stuff due to Daniel trying to turn Alyssa against Kyle.

Fake NEWSpapers fall on them. Brittany down. Sheesh -- another pre-comp bit about the girls trying to get Joseph in an alliance. Back at the comp, Terrance is now down. The Loch Ness monster gets them with blue goop. Monte down. Alyssa down.

Bigfoot conspiracy -- hair drops on them. Now pink goop hits them hard from "aliens." Indy down. Now all that remain are Leftovers. Taylor tells us she will not let go. Turner gives up. It's Taylor, Joseph and Kyle remaining. Joseph down -- he did not want to be in the position to have to deal with the girls who think he's in their alliance ... along with Kyle. Kyle is down.

TAYLOR is the new HOH!

Many are thrilled. Jasmine is not. Brittany and Taylor happy dance in the storage room. Michael tells Brittany that Joseph and Kyle are in another alliance and are dependent on the players from the Leftovers who do win. Taylor tells us Jasmine is not on her radar and she came into the game planning to not target another Black woman. Brittany thinks Jasmine should be the target. Monte suggests Indy.

Terrance talks to Taylor. Taylor acts like she's listening but tells us she doesn't trust him at all.

Taylor talks to Joseph. She tells us he was the first person to be kind to her. He hints showmance to us from the Diary Room. She tells us her goal is to get Terrance to the jury house this week. She is looking for a pawn. Turner is upset as he stuck his neck out for her and doesn't want to be a pawn. She's thinking Turner/Monte up, backdooring Terrance. EEK says the two guys.

A segment on Joseph and Indy. She's the crankiest roommate ever.

Taylor decides she will put Indy/Terrance on the block and tell them it's to backdoor Monte. She had told Indy she wouldn't put her up so she needs to tell her. Indy talks to her. Indy tells us she never really trusted Taylor. Indy says okay but is clearly upset.

The rest of the Leftovers would like Jasmine out.

Time for the Nominations Ceremony. Taylor nominates Indy, then Terrance. Indy most distant relationship. Terrance play the veto. There is always a larger target.

Heh. Indy thinks she's a pond.

Here we go!

Julie has a summery dress on, reminds us of "expect the unexpected" and tells us that's even more so tonight. Then we go into "previously on" and here we are.

The narrator tells us emotions are high and a shocking announcement rocks the game.

Julie tells us the Backstage twist has been changed due to events and apparently won't culminate tonight. Taylor cries. She doesn't like to feel unwelcome. Paloma tells us she feels sorry for Taylor. Yeah, right. Then she plays up to Taylor in tears herself. @@

Taylor picks up that Paloma may not be 100% on her side. She is determined to see who she offended and rubbed the wrong way. She tries to straighten things out with Monte. He tells us he's still with Paloma, though. Huh? Paloma tells Taylor that she would rather go to bed than to hear her explain herself.

Going into commercial, Julie confirms one houseguest unexpectedly exited.

Girls, Girls is expanding to Girls, Guys ... Kyle, Monte, Pooch along with Paloma, Alyssa and Ameerah. Then Paloma decides to recruit Michael. He is leery but agrees.

Brittany is still concerned about Backstage. She wants to get in good with Pooch in case he has the power to save one of them. Pooch runs to Joseph and Ameerah telling them that Brittany said that Ameerah wants to put him on the block. Ameerah and Jasmine confront Brittany. She knows Pooch ratted her out.

An emotional series of events leads into an unexpected departure and an unprecedented announcement to the houseguests. Another pre-commercial teaser.

Back -- BB House can be difficult. Paloma isn't sleeping more than a few hours a night. She locks herself in the bathroom stall crying. Her anxiety is running amok. Alyssa tells Joseph that Paloma told her to vote her out today. They are all getting worried about her. Paloma goes to the Diary Room.

Daniel calls everyone to the living room. "Due to a personal matter, Paloma will no longer be in the Big Brother game." She loves you and wishes you the best. Oh, geez. They're all in tears.

Julie tells us that America voted to keep Brittany safe. With Paloma gone, this is affecting tonight's eviction and the Backstage twist. There would have been a battle between Backstage and a hamster. The loser goes home immediately. Since Paloma was in Backstage, so this changes. Brittany and Alyssa are now safe. Both nominees are safe.

They have to head out to the backyard for the HOH comp.

Backyard is full of giant size instruments. Only seven can play, seven head-to-head race. "Bye Bye Backstage" Race across obstacle course to stage, hit button.

Pooch and Michael first - random draw - Michael wins.

Taylor and Alyssa - Taylor wins.

Indy and Joseph - Joseph wins.

Brittany and Ameerah - Ameerah wins.

Jasmine and Terrance - Jasmine. I thought she touched her foot at one point, then she fell after winning. May be hurt. They confirmed she did not touch.

Kyle and Turner - Kyle wins.

Monte and Nicole - Monte wins.

The winners advance to the HOH comp which is not going to be shown on the show until Sunday. It will probably play out sometime tonight blocked to the live feeds.

Big Brother: BB24 Live Feeds Overnight into Thursday - July 14

Adoption, not eviction!

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Who Went Missing:

  • Yes, this isn't my normal more lengthy report.
  • Yes, that's a cat.
  • No, the cat is not in the BB House.
  • But we went to adoptable animals yesterday evening.
  • They're usually reserved for when feeds are down for comps and such.
  • We STILL have adoptable animals this morning.
  • There is no comp.
  • Fairly reliable sources say Paloma is gone.
  • Whether self-evict or removal, it's not known.
  • Apparently, while Taylor went around one to one apologizing, talking, trying to keep herself in the house ... something went down with Paloma.
  • We saw nothing more than Paloma's usual manic discussions which leave my head spinning.
  • That's all I have for you.
  • If Paloma is indeed gone (which it seems she is), I doubt the feeds will return until after tonight's live show.

BB23: Live Feeds into Tuesday Evening - Sept. 14

Why is he still there? Cookout needs deadwood?

Here's the latest from inside that Big Brother House of Angry Ants:

  • Once again I don't have a heck of a lot for you.
  • Both Hannah and Tiffany have been making the rounds each campaigning for their own safety.
  • Hannah has been told that she's not the target.
  • And she went ahead and threw Tiffany under the bus to each of them.
  • Tiffany threw Kyland under the bus to Xavier.
  • And so on and so forth.
  • If you can't tell, I've really been irked at both Kyland and Xavier.
  • Both keep saying how they want to play at the end with true good competitors.
  • Yet they both continue to let the floaters, non-comp winning duo remain.
  • Now, I do like Azah. As a person, she's entertaining and a good soul.
  • As a BB player? Um. No.
  • Then there's Derek F, someone who would never have been able to get on the show if not for his famous father. He can get outright nasty, more so than anyone else in the house. He whines and fusses about the comps not being ones he could win. He has actually said an eating contest and a strength contest would suit him.
  • He needs to go, followed by Azah.
  • Let four real game players play out the final four.
  • But I don't believe we will see that happen.
  • For sure we won't as it's Hannah and Tiffany on the block.
  • I don't think Tiffany convinced Xavier that Kyland plans on betraying him.
  • So, instead of ridding itself of deadwood, it looks like Tiffany, someone who really played hard this season, will walk out the door.
  • Sigh.

Threw Tiffany under the bus to all.

Tiffany tries to talk Xavier into keeping her.

More deadwood but at least
more pleasant deadwood.
