Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into Saturday Dawn 8/08

Jessie wanders the house alone in the wee hours of the morning. This screen cap I took shows how much muscle mass he's lost. To be honest, I never like the overly-muscled look except perhaps in those ads in the back of comic books which help out your basic 98-pound weaklings. I think men look silly with huge muscles bursting out all over the place. Toned, normal limits muscular ... that's fine. Incredible Hulk muscular = silly.

The Have Not room looks eerily like a crypt. I expect the non-dead to get up and roam the night with Jessie.

Here's the latest from that Big Brother House of Flibbertigibbets and Foolish Boys:
  • Chima told Jeff that she wants him to vote Russell out this week.
  • Now Jessie and Chima think Jeff has the "wizard power." Before, they were figuring Jordan.
  • Jessie's sure that he's gone this week if Jeff has the power while Natalie and Chima doubt he'll use it.
  • Heh. It would be a hoot if Lydia had it, but we know that's not the case.
  • The more Natalie tried to convince Jessie he'll be okay this week, the more paranoid Jessie became.
  • Chima said she's going to freak out during the live show if the power takes away her power as HOH. She will outshout Julie Chen over it! She will have a conniption!
  • Well, that could be entertaining to watch, eh?
  • With Jeff on slop, they're probably losing their best chef this week. Natalie is sad. She likes to eat.
  • When Russell asked Jeff if he had the power, Jeff told him he didn't but then added on "don't worry."
  • Jeff better be careful.
  • After being silent for a long time, Lydia said the Diary Room told her to start talking. Once again, I question whether the girl should have ever gone into the house.
  • Once she went non-mute, the rumors started swirling once again. Jessie, Natalie, Michele, and Chima - he said, she said, they all said.
  • It's a spool of lies, folks. That's all it is.
  • Russell and Michele had another blow-up. Earlier he told Jordan and Natalie that he felt all of his friends in the house have deserted him.
  • Chima thinks Jessie is furthering the Michele controversies in the house and blowing things out of proportion.
  • Russell now says everything Ronnie said about Michele is true. I personally don't know if she's truly socially inept or whether she's playing some sort of master game. I do know that I don't like Michele as much as I did before I got to know her on the feeds. She may be local (Iselin, NJ), but she's um ... socially inept and odd.
  • Jeff remains in the middle of it all just observing for the most part.
  • Chima wants to push for a girls alliance.
  • Natalie nixes the girls alliance because she doesn't trust/like Lydia.
  • Jordan told Jeff he really shouldn't trust Russell.
  • Jeff thinks that Michele is bipolar.
  • Michele meanwhile claims that Jeff is shady.
  • Of course, neither of them said these things to each other, just about each other.
  • Michele told Natalie, Kevin, and Chima of her Russell final two deal and the odd Russell vote for Casey.
  • Michele denied that she was gunning for Jeff. Again, she's a woman of bizarre social interactions.
  • Kevin and Michele think that Jeff has some sort of "dark background" in Chicago. Or that he's led a troubled life.
  • I don't quite get that vibe from Jeff.
  • Michele thinks Russell is manipulating Jeff.
  • Chima once again promised a freak-out on live national television if her nominations are changed. She wants Russell out!
  • Heck, the more she threatens a freak-out, the more I want Jeff to save Russell.
  • What will Jeff do on Thursday? I honestly don't know. Although he has a deal with Russell,if Russell goes through no actual fault of Jeff's -- he has an ally on the jury.If Russell stays and one of the Jessie Mob goes, he has an enemy on the jury plus Chima all up his case over changing his nominations.
  • At least Jeff has the power, not Jordan. She'd be a basket case wondering whether to use it or not.
  • They're all asleep as I get this posted.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds - Nominations 8/07

Pretty much as expected,Chima nominated Russell and Lydia for eviction.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds - Have - Have Not Held 8/07

The feeds were down while the Have - Have Not played out. Four people are in the Have Not room. Jeff is grumpy. Jordan did well. There were limes all over the table - the liver and limes duo must have been voted in. The comp had them squishing and packing stuff in a car (cart?).

Jeff is definitely on slop. Someone (or two) won a movie. They're talking that if Jeff's team had a surfboard, they would have won. They also didn't see the squishy animals. No, I'm not talking about Ronnie.

Jordan and Jeff were on separate teams. I think Jeff's partners in slop have to be Lydia, Kevin, and Michele. Natalie, Jessie, Jordan definitely not on slop. I think from what they're saying, Chima is a Have. Russell must be a Have as they mentioned he'll be the only one drinking beer.

They saw Jeremy Piven, too. So it must be his latest movie.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into the Dawn Friday 8/07

There's a new head of house, but the cloud of the coup d'etat hangs over any decisions made this week. Chima, Natalie, and Jessie think that Jordan has the power. Here are the evening's happenings into the dawn from that Big Brother House of French Phrases:
  • Kevin mentioned that the remaining houseguests are all on the jury now. For me, that would have been reason enough to oust Ronnie. I would NOT want an extended vacation with that twerp! Jessie's a stronger player and possibly a threat, but he's nowhere near as personally annoying as Ronnie.
  • Chima told Kevin she'd have him host the PoV comp and she won't put him on the block.
  • Natalie is a bit offended by the makeover question and answer on the live show.
  • Jeff thinks that Russell ended up sad over the Ronnie eviction -- Ronnie had been giving Russell a lot of game advice and things had changed between them between nomination and eviction.
  • Jeff and Jordan are still thrilled with Ronnie's eviction.
  • Jeff told Jordan that if they're put on the block, they'll know it came directly from Natalie and Jessie.
  • Lydia told Jeff that she knows he has the power and he's a good actor. He denied it.
  • Chima says she won't put up Jessie, Natalie, Jordan, Jeff, or Kevin. Um ... that leaves Russell, Lydia, or Michele.
  • Jessie is gleeful over getting past week four.
  • I really should use "gleeful" more often. It's a fun word.
  • Natalie is sure either Jordan or Jeff have the power. She kept bulldogging them about making three enemies if they use it.
  • Michele and Kevin hope the power won't bring back a houseguest. No way do they want Ronnie in the house again.
  • Natalie and Jordan talked about how cute Drew (BB5) was. Natalie thinks both Jessie and Jeff are very cute. At least she knows cute (when it comes to Jeff!).
  • Michele told Jeff that Natalie must think he has the wizard power because she's been saying he's cute for the past two days.
  • Heh.
  • Chima got her HOH room -- cornmeal, photos which didn't thrill her a lot, a letter from home. Lots of fake smiles.
  • Chima said that her baby picture proves she was born with her lips, they're not surgically enhanced.
  • Chima was a bit upset that the letter was "old." It was stamped with a date and apparently BB must ask all the family members to write them at the beginning of the season.
  • Chima and Jessie told Russell that his personal beef with Ronnie cost them numbers.
  • Meanwhile, Chima is quite adamant that she'd like to put Russell on the block.
  • Russell apologized once again to Chima and mentioned that he apologized in the Julie Chen HOH talk, too.
  • Kevin has broken out in a rash. He sees the dermatologist later today. He's hoping it's not measles or chicken pox.
  • Don't they have vaccinations for both of those things these days? Wouldn't he have immunity?
  • I think it could be a stress reaction to being in a house of fools. But I'm no doctor. I don't even play one on TV.
  • Jeff, Jordan, and Michele noted that Russelll is spending time with the others now that they have the power once again.
  • Natalie is still campaigning to get Lydia away from Jessie. She'd like to see her on the block.
  • Jessie says that if he goes against Lydia, he goes against two people -- Lydia and Kevin.
  • Natalie told Jeff she knows he doesn't have the coup d'etat. She thinks Jordan won it.
  • Jessie and Natalie argued about the virtues of Lydia.
  • It looks to me like Chima will most likely put Russell and Michele on the block. We'll know later tonight.
  • I leave you with a cup of tea to get your day going.

So You Think You Can Dance Finale Bulletin

Sigh. My favorite for the win came in second -- Brandon. Janine won the season. Sniffle.

Big Brother 11 Live Eviction Show Blog Party 8/06

Jackie's TV Blog,Jackie's TV Blog,Big Brother 11,Big Brother 11

The show has started here on the East Coast. As it airs, this post will be updated with the major events. Later on tonight, my full review of the episode will be up on TV Squad. But ... (and here's where you come in) ... the real fun is in the comments! Everyone's welcome to participate, snack, and imbibe. Just clean up your own messes! Please remember the houseguests are fair game for criticism, but your fellow commenters aren't. Merci!

A huge thank you goes to Zoetawny for the Ronnie is a Rat graphic!

Jeff won the coup d'etat. :-) He wisely chose to leave tonight's nominations stand.

The voting to evict:
Kevin --> Ronnie
Natalie --> Lydia
Chima --> Lydia
Jessie --> Lydia
Michele --> Ronnie
Jeff --> Ronnie
Jordan --> Ronnie

By a vote of 4-3, Ronnie is evicted.

CHIMA won HOH based on the calls from last night memory.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into the Dawn Thursday 8/06

It's the wee hours of the morning. It's in the vicinity of 3:00 AM there in the Big Brother house. And, once again, they're still up and not drunk.
  • Natalie took a shower. I know. I'm in shock, too.
  • Russell bashed Michele to Lydia, told her about the PhD. Now, there's a big bash, eh?
  • Chima, Lydia, and Russell got into another brouhaha rehashing the previous brouhaha.
  • Ronnie said he'll bash Michele in his speech on the live eviction show.
  • Natalie, in particular, is coming up with scheme after scheme to save Ronnie. Most are off in left field.
  • Everyone thinks their dire enemy in the house has the "wizard power." I've seen nothing which indicates anyone in particular has it.
  • Ah, interesting. Ronnie, Jessie, his pit bull, and Russell are talking. Ronnie said if he makes it through and wins HOH, he'll nominate Jeff and they'd vote him out.
  • "I can't do that," Russell told them. The man has some scruples although he's allowing the bunch to use him.
  • I wonder if Natalie would ever use her harebrained schemes to save her own butt. Some of them are outright ludicrous.
  • I expect today to be rather uneventful in the house as we gear for the live eviction and coup d'etat reveal.
  • But Natalie will surely keep scheming for Ronnie.
  • Ronnie is walking around in his underwear waking people up.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into the Evening Wed. 8/05

Well, I last posted about the brouhaha. We haven't had another major one yet, just some skirmishes. But that's not saying than nothing has been going down in that Big Brother House of Deceptive DIngbats.
  • Lydia is all down, wants to hurt herself, and had to pack. Earlier she mentioned that she was told in the DR that if she does anything to hurt herself, they'll remove her from the house.
  • Again, I say better psychological testing is needed.
  • Chima and Michele blame Russell for all the stress in the house.
  • I blame the pit bull and buddies.
  • Lydia screamed at Natalie.
  • What else is new?
  • Chima tried telling Lydia that Kevin through her under the bus.
  • Lydia had Kevin write the word "perspective" on her forearm with make-up.
  • I recall the first season, there was no make-up other than Jamie's infamous lip gloss. She'd hide behind the sink to apply it.
  • Ronnie is still trying to work Jordan and Jeff. It ain't working. They blatantly told him they don't trust him and never will.
  • Natalie claims to not know how to use a tampon.
  • Maybe she doesn't know the mechanics of a washcloth, either.
  • They were all in and out of the Diary Room recording goodbye messages.
  • There have been no hints on the coup d'etat. I keep hoping someone will look up at the cameras while alone and thank America.
  • Natalie told Jordan and Jeff that she will be the sole vote to evict Ronnie, just a sympathy vote, just wanted them to know.
  • That's part of the scheme she hatched with Jessie.
  • The annoying phone calls started coming in and they're running every fifteen minutes as I type this report.
  • I know a song that really gets on your nerves. Yes, yes it does. Make it stop.
  • Lydia thinks Jessie is behind trying to destroy her relationship with Kevin.
  • She loves him, she hates him. He hurt her, she wants to hurt herself. Lydia talked a long time with Jessie.
  • He claims that he hasn't cast his vote yet, so she has no case to complain that he's voting against her.
  • A common theme to the calls is calling for Natalie to bathe. Heh.
  • They think they have to memorize the calls.
  • Right now it's not looking like a solid exit for Ronnie.
  • I'm irked. But if Lydia is so unstable that she's talking about cutting herself and stuff ... it might be in her best interest to get her out of there.
  • I'd still rather Ronnie leave.
  • Now Michele is crying to Jordan and Jeff about Russell.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Daytime Wednesday 8/05

Jessie pulling his pit bull off during the confrontation they organized.

Jordan in shock during the confrontation Jessie, Natalie, and Ronnie instigated between Russell and Michele.

Wash your hair pit bull. Now. Not tomorrow.

Today was relatively boring in the house until ... brouhaha! They took HOH photographs and everything was going kind of hunky-dory. But then Natalie (the main instigator), Jessie, and Ronnie filled Russell's head with lies and exaggerations about things Michele may or may not have said.

The Russell/Chima rift, the Michele supposed lies ... it all came to a screaming match mainly between Natalie and Michele. Gee, how did that happen? Ronnie sat silently, at times picking his nose, throughout. Jeff tried to stay totally out of it although he knew that Michele had made a comment about sexual dysfunction and Russell to Chima. She claims she said it jokingly and then Russell was called to the DR so she never explained it. I agree with Jeff that it was a stupid thing for her to say and not funny.

But this is all blown out of proportion and all orchestrated by the Jessie Contingent. Russell fell for it, Kevin's stuck in the middle, but the Chima and Michele faction seems to be healing as I get this written up.

Michele thinks Russell was behind the meeting. But that's not the case at all. He was duped. It won't affect the eviction this week, but it casts a really horrible suspicion on Michele right now. True, she's fumbled her moves and has played both sides ... but no more than Russell.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Through the Night Into Wed. 8/05

Oh, I just love hearing tales of terror under night vision cameras with a group that includes RONNIE. Ack. Here are the events of the evening and the night behind us:
  • Chima has joined Lydia in trashtalking Jessie and Natalie. Oh, not to their faces, of course.
  • Natalie wants Jessie to stop talking to Lydia. She claims others are after her because of him.
  • Natalie told Jessie she's going to vote for Ronnie to stay and he should, too. That way, if Chima comes aboard and if there's a mysterious vote, Ronnie might stay. I call that an iffy plan, don't you?
  • Chima is appalled that Russell thought she was trying to seduce him.
  • I saw her and Russell. It was no Lydia blatant, but she WAS fluttering her eyes, petting his head (and other places), etc.
  • Ronnie told Lydia and Chima they shouldn't ever trust Michele as she will flip each week. Um, wouldn't Lydia herself be the flipper? Sometimes she looks like a flapper, but she's really a flipper.
  • Ronnie thinks the votes might be 4-3 in his favor.
  • Jessie told his crew (Natalie, Chima, Ronnie) that he thinks Michele set Russell up, telling him lies about them targeting him. (They DID discuss backdooring Russell, that was no lie!)
  • Heh. Chima made a comment to Natalie about her bathing/showering ... or lack thereof.
  • BB gave them alcohol, but just about enough to blitz a single person.
  • Michele told Kevin that Russell is being fed lies and believes them.
  • They discussed how the wizard voting would go. Chima said America wouldn't be voting for Russell based on his Memory Wall picture. Natalie said she'd vote for the cutest guy. Chima said the cutest one would be Jeff.
  • Aw, I'm glad she sees that. But she better not flirt with him and get Jordan on her case!
  • Chima continued to knock Russell every chance she could get. Is this all real? Previously Russell and Chima talked about staging a rift between them. This might all be an act or ...?
  • Shades of Wahmber! Lydia got all hysterical and crying because Jessie rebuffed her and crushed her heart!
  • Now, this is a girl who went from bed with the guy to trashing him and then back to bed. I don't give Jessie the Powerless Tool much credit for brains, but he knows when he's being used.
  • Lydia told Kevin she wants to cut herself. This goes back to my own doubts about the psychological testing for this show. I know I'd be a nutcase stuck in that house. I personally think when they go for the strong personalities and people who are a bit out there, they're setting up baskets for basket cases!
  • Poor Kevin had to be the one to console his best bud Lydia. He even got a bit emotional.
  • Jordan told the others she hated studying and is computer illiterate. I'm not really surprised. But, to her credit, I think Jordan has great people skills -- she could fit into almost any crowd and folks would like her. Someone like Michele, who obviously has brains, is a bit socially inept and nervous with people.
  • I always wanted to be a Jordan, but with my own brain. Alas, I'm more like a Michele -- not quite fitting in with the masses.
  • But I don't have my PhD. If someone wants to support me, I'd be happy to go earn one! I am computer literate, actually enjoy studying and learning new things. Well, things I want to learn about, anyway.
  • At least I'm not a Ronnie.
  • Chima once again said Russell is a terrorist and implied that he will do the next Amtrak bombing. I think her comments really cross the line. Say he's ugly or stupid, but don't cast aspersions that he's some sort of mad bomber!
  • A bunch, including just about everyone but Russell gathered in one room and told stories of robberies and scary things. Amazing ... no one fought or talked game with the exception of a few Kevin/Lydia knocks after those two split from the group.
  • Lydia and Kevin are still up and in the yard as I post this. They boxed for a while, now Lydia is in the pool.
  • There have been no indications on the "wizard power."
And ... how about that Paula Abdul leaving American Idol? Who will we mock for seemingly drunken behavior now?

Big Brother 11 Aug. 4 Show Blog Party Post

Big Brother 11 Blog Logo

The show has started here on the East Coast. This post will be updated as it airs, but the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is welcome, bring your own snacks and beverages! Later tonight my show review will be posted on TV Squad.

Jessie, Michele, Russell, Ronnie, Lydia, and Kevin played for PoV. Michele won.

The veto was not used, Ronnie and Lydia remain on the block.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Daytime Tuesday 8/04

Welcome to the Big Brother House of Waffles. Yeah, you heard me. It's looking like Russell has waffled his way back in the Jessie Fold. Now, I'm not sure the vote this week will be affected by it, but there ya go. After last night's brouhahas, today was a bit quieter.
  • Russell got mad because Lydia defended Chima who said that she (Lydia) wanted to um ... perform certain oral maneuvers on Jessie and Russell.
  • Jessie told Russell that almost everyone in the house wants him (Russell) out and that he now has a huge target on his back.
  • Sigh. Now Russell believes Jessie about Michele lying (which is a lie in and of itself).
  • Natalie and Chima are the ones actually instigating this, Natalie on behalf of Ronnie (and Jessie), Chima for dramatic effect (or something).
  • Russell said the alliance with Jeff, Jordan, and Michele is off. He told Michele that if they didn't win HOH, he'd put her up.
  • Jordan and Jeff grumped at each other, but all is well between them.
  • Jeff is avoiding Russell because he doesn't want a confrontation (AKA - Brouhaha!)
  • Russell is hanging out with Jessie.
  • Blech. I think my tummy hurts.
Don't forget to stop back tonight at 9 PM ET for the show blog party post! Bring your own snacks, bring your own pool boys!

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into Tuesday Dawn 8/04

With the thought of the "wizard" power hanging over their heads, all of the hamsters are a bit antsy.

Here' the latest scoop:
  • Michele told Jeff and Jordan that she has a PhD.
  • Russell doesn't quite trust Michele.
  • Chima is mad at Russell.
  • People think Russell has deals with everyone.
  • Other people think Michele is playing both sides of the house.
  • The lies continue to go around -- Chima went to Jeff and Jordan to tell them that "people" are saying that Jordan doesn't like Jeff, she's just playing him.
  • Lydia is back to playing and wrestling Jessie.
  • All heck breaks loose. Ronnie gets into a chest-thumping scream match with Kevin.
  • Chima was screaming at Russell and called him a terrorist.
  • She also commented on the size of his manhood!
  • Natalie went after Michele for supporting "racist" Braden.
  • Jeff tried to break it all up.
  • The diary told all of the ones involved to break it up and gave them a warning for fighting.
  • And the beat goes on.
  • It's a ball of confusion.
  • It's to the point that I'm really not sure who's lying to whom. Natalie told Jeff that the Casey backdoor was the plan all along because Casey was targeting Chima.
  • The Jeff and Jordan duo seemed to survive all the rumors and accusations.
  • Right now everyone is still up, not fighting. Ronnie is still extolling his virtues.
  • Someone will find out about the "wizard" powers tonight.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Monday Daytime 8/03

The only big event in the house today was the PoV meeting. As was totally expected, Michele didn't use it. The nominations remain the same -- Ronnie and Lydia. I have a feeling it might as well be Ronnie and Ronnie. Heh.

Here's what else happened in that Big Brother house of Another One Bites the Dust:
  • Michele shouted "NO" in her sleep once again. Then, instead of shouting "NO" in her sleep, Michele shouted something about sitting down and quieting down. Hmm ... curiouser and curiouser.
  • Then she shouted "NO."
  • Lydia and Kevin Saran-wrapped the HOH door.
  • When he came out, Russell just ripped the Saran wrap down without any real reaction.
  • Jordan told Jeff she's glad Jessie didn't win PoV or he would have used it to save Ronnie. Jeff said that was why Jessie tried so hard to win it.
  • Russell seems indeed tight with Jeff and Jordan now.
  • Russell told Jordan that the reason Chima is so mad at him now is because he rejected her.
  • Russell thinks Natalie is an instigator.
  • He's right. An instigator who hides behind Jessie, but ...!
  • Lydia is an instigator, too. She told Chima that nobody is talking to Ronnie yet the lies are spreading. She blamed Russell.
  • Chima has been talking to Ronnie.
  • Natalie told Chima she only trusts Jessie, Ronnie, and her.
  • None of the others trust Natalie, either. Even Steven.
  • Wait. Steven was last season.
  • Ronnie is still trying to scheme votes.
  • It dawned on the Jessie Crew that they can't trust Michele anymore. Well, duh.
  • Jeff told Jordan to stop cleaning up after others. He says Jessie and Lydia never clean up their own messes.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into Early Monday 8/03

You can tell Kevin is having a thrill a minute, eh? Here's the late night/overnight events:
  • Chima thinks Russell is a mysonginist -- didn't she say that about Braden, too?
  • Ronnie said that before he got married, he was a horrible person.
  • I think he still is.
  • Jessie knows that Russell knows about his scheme to save Ronnie. Jessie told Ronnie it's over.
  • Russell told Jeff and Jordan that Jessie and Chima are next on his list. Hmmm ... I don't think he'll go after Jessie that soon.
  • Michele once again said that she won't be using the veto. She said the votes are locked in to get rid of Ronnie.
  • Jeff trashtalked about Ronnie ... a lot.
  • When Michele asked Jeff if Jessie ever said things about her, Jeff told her he doesn't really talk much to Jessie.
  • Lydia and Jessie wrestled. No, I don't mean they had sex. He has no power this week, y'know.
  • Russell eavesdropped on Ronnie, Chima, and Kevin. He would have gotten more of an earful had he listened to just Ronnie and Chima earlier in the night.
  • Ronnie talked about Jokers Updates. It would be nice if a hamster mentioned this blog!
  • As I get this posted, Lydia and Jessie are still up.
  • They're friends again.
  • Isn't that special?

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into the Evening Sunday 8/02

Will Ronnie EVER shut up? He knows that he's likely to be evicted this week yet continues to rehash the same stuff over and over again. Chima seems to be the only one really listening to him. I think that might be because her own ally situation is a bit precarious in the house. She's low on the totem pole in her alliance.

Here's what's been going down in that Big Brother House of Pontificating Posers:
  • Ronnie told Natalie that he knows Michele has a deal with someone in the house and that he told her if he's evicted those who like him will go after her.
  • I don't like Ronnie. Is there a way I can send Michele some thank you flowers?
  • Lydia went around pretending she had the wizard powers and saying everyone had to wear spandex unitards. Natalie's would be brown.
  • It reminds me of my faked Jessie HOH rule about the color-coordinated shirts and cups.
  • Ronnie said he's going to stare Michele down when the vote to evict him finishes.
  • Then why is he still rehashing and campaigning?
  • Shut up, Ronnie!
  • Kevin was given an extra day of slop by BB in punishment for munching grapes.
  • Natalie and Jessie had schemed to lie to Russell by telling him that Michele wants him out.
  • They think the lie worked.
  • It didn't.
  • Russell told Jeff and Jordan that Natalie and Jessie are worried because they're not friendly with anyone outside of their little circle.
  • Russell is not pleased with Natalie's lies about himself and Michele.
  • Chima is also irking Russell.
  • He wishes BB was all guys because the girls create so much drama.
  • Russell broke the elliptical machine.
  • And Ronnie is STILL going on to Chima.
  • I can't respect Chima at all because she's sitting there listening and sympathizing with Ronnie.
  • What kind of blogger is she? Sheesh!

Big Brother 11 August 2 Show Blog Party Post

Big Brother 11 Blog Logo

The show has started here on the East Coast. This post will be updated as it airs, but the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is welcome, bring your own snacks and beverages! Later tonight my show review will be posted on TV Squad. I should be posting the day's live feeds late tonight.

Kevin out of the HOH first, got $5000. Lydia second, got a 42" flat screen TV. Ronnie out, Natalie sick. Natalie out. Heh ... Ronnie and Natalie got boxes of NOTHING. Jordan out, mad about it. Jordan's prize is being a HAVE for the week and choosing three to be HAVE NOTS. Chima out.

Michele down ... after hanging suspended for a bit. Russell and Jeff made the deal that Jordan and Jeff are safe. He swore on his ill father who just had an operation on his neck ... but they didn't show when he told Jeff he was the Casey vote. (Did I miss that?)

Jordan's Have/Have Not choices - Natalie, Kevin, Jessie (no showing of the Jeff choice).

Russell and Jeff decide to team up together.

Nominations time - key order --

Jeff, Jessie, Jordan, Chima, Michele, Natalie, Kevin

Lydia and Ronnie nominated.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Sunday So Far 8/02

The hamsters have a quiet day ahead of them. Well, maybe Ronnie will go berserk! That would liven things up! Here are the events of the day so far in that Big Brother House of Squishy Squiddy People:
  • A lot of the talk today has been Ronnie bashing. Why is that not surprising me?
  • Ronnie told them that he admired Hitler for being a powerful speaker who led others with his words.
  • Ronnie told them that his (Ronnie's) words were not the problem, it was their fault for following him.
  • Would you like more Kool-Aid now?
  • Lydia told Michele that she yelled NO twice in her sleep last night. I swear that gal should have that checked out. It sounds like some sort of trauma is manifesting itself in her sleep.
  • Maybe Michele is dreaming that she has to move back to New Jersey.
  • Russell and Jordan say that if Ronnie wins the wizard power, the game is rigged.
  • Well, yeah.
  • Ronnie worked on Chima some more telling her that Russell probably has a deal with Jeff and Jordan (which would not be to her benefit).
  • Russell and Michele both talked of Ronnie's poor pitiful crying pleas to them last night.
  • They laughed.
  • I laughed.
  • Lydia sucked up to Michele. I don't see the need for this at all.
  • Lydia isn't as close with Jessie ... oh, wait! She's a power wench who knows Russell isn't too fond of her.
  • At least Lydia knows when people aren't fond of her.
  • Ronnie doesn't.
  • Ronnie said that Michele can't be persuaded because she's "too socially awkward."
  • It didn't enter his mind that she might not be persuaded because he's such a lousy excuse of a human being whom she despises.
  • It still looks like Michele will not use the veto at the meeting (which should be tomorrow). The house consensus seems to be with Ronnie leaving. Jessie and Natalie seem to be the only ones not aboard the Get Ronnie Out Train. Lydia is almost relaxed.
  • Natalie and Jessie (but mostly Natalie) are trying to scheme to save Ronnie.
Please stop back for the show blog party post which will be up at 8:00 PM ET!

Off Topic: That Was the Week It Was 8/02

It's time for reflection and some photographs I've taken of the week gone by. If you're looking for Big Brother show stuff, wait for the next post or check back on the previous one. Or, just use this Big Brother blog tag!

It's been humid and stormy most of the past week here in New Jersey. The state even had a tornado which did quite a bit of damage on Wednesday. I'm nowhere near where that was (or I would have taken some cool photos!).

I've had a rather subdued week -- some issues at the workplace nagging at me, an empty apartment without my cat, Verizon FIOS irking me to no end coming in while I wasn't home making a mess installing their junk I don't want in my apartment (I refuse to get FIOS and wish I could have barred them from coming into my home), fighting a $50 late rent fee when the check posted on June 2 (I have until the 5th each month, usually mail it before the 1st). Argh. Maybe I'd be better off in the BB11 house! Oh! And Verizon FIOS idiots also left my apartment not secure by not re-locking my deadbolt! The regular door lock is flimsy -- anyone could have forced the door open. Grr.

Let's see ... there had to be some plus points for the week. Um. Um. Well, the elevator in my building is finally working. It's only been out of order since January. I felt like I was living in The Big Bang Theory. The slumlord landlord also installed a new intercom system, but it's not functional yet. Gee, maybe he'll get those fire extinguishers tagged 2005 attended to next, as well as get the fire alarm for the building operating again. That would be nice.

I also received word that I'll be getting nearly a year's worth of retroactive pay on a raise which never came at my workplace. That I can use. But it will be in a lump sum, so taxes are going to whack it. Yeah, I know in these economic times I should be thankful to have a job. But I've never not had a job (or two or three) and have nearly thirty years invested in the company. All I ask is to be treated fairly when it comes to benefits and salary reviews. I shouldn't have to fight for what's supposed to come my way on schedule.

Oh, well ... onto this week's photos. I don't think I had any really fantastic images this week although I came across a few good local finds. Clicking on an image will open it larger in a new window.

No Loitering

I've been trying to get a picture of this public bench near the Plainfield (NJ) courthouse for weeks, but people are always loitering on it. Um ... what other purpose is there for a bench other than loitering? It's actually a bench for the bus stop. However, the issue is street people doing their thing loitering which seems to be the problem.

Street Art in Plainfield, New Jersey

I took a walk down a street I don't normally travel and came across this find in the parking lot for the YMCA buses. I couldn't get real close as I was photographing it through a fence. Now, I'm not an advocate for plain old graffiti, but I do like the more artistic doings. This was tagged by the NYC X-Men who hit the train station with tags a while back but no real art.

Plainfield Street Art Continued

It looks like they first painted their canvas black, then went to work. I wonder how long this took them to do?

More Plainfield Street Art and the fence between us

See! I told you there's a fence! I guess I could have walked around the block to get better shots.

Abandoned

This little office (?) is part of an abandoned garage on a lot owned by the city of Plainfield, NJ.

Flowers never bend with the rainfall

"So, I'll continue to continue to pretend that my life will never end and flowers never bend with the rainfall" - Simon and Garfunkel. Photo taken on East Front Street in Plainfield, NJ.

Goldfinch (?) on a dead tree

I spotted this bird on the same dead tree where I previously photographed a woodpecker. I believe it's the New Jersey State Bird -- the goldfinch. I could be wrong, though. Birds aren't quite my area of expertise. Bridgewater, NJ.

Plainfield NJ Train Station in sepia tones

I'm in a Simon and Garfunkel mood right now ... "Sitting in the railway station, got ticket for my destination...."

Living in America

This group of (possibly) homeless (probably) undocumented guys were enjoying a patch of shade in yesterday's one day of sunshine. The one guy obviously wanted his picture taken when he saw the camera, but two others scooted away fearing their images being captured. Plainfield has a large number of men like this -- day laborers who tend to live in apartments by the dozen, abandoned buildings, some handmade shelters along the railroad tracks. I know there are a lot of social ramifications, but their presence doesn't really bother me. And, I'm taller than all of them!

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into the Dawn Sunday 8/02

Jackie's TV Blog,Big Brother 11,Big Brother,BB11

I'm playing a bit of catch up here today. Zoetawny created this Chima image a week or so ago when Chima just wouldn't shut up! Things have changed a bit in the house. However, when Chima gets on the subject of Chima, a piece of duct tape might just do the trick! Thank you Zoetawny!

I'm also including the CBS video interview with Casey and fan questions. What I find the most interesting with this is his take on Russell. As I watch the feeds and the show, I've found my own opinion on Russell changing. At first I thought of him as a bully thug. Now not so much. True, he can bully. But he's kind of a stand up guy who's playing the game with at least a semblance of integrity. I don't expect any of them to be honest all the time -- that's just not Big Brother. Do I want him to win it all? Nah, not at this point.

Onto the late night and overnight feeds scoop (or lack thereof):
  • Blog reader Petals from comments wants to know what college Natalie attended -- Arizona State University. No, I don't know the degree if any exists. After all, she's only 18. @@
  • Between Kevin and Jessie, lots of squid has been tossed out. I think BB should take the cost out of their stipends.
  • Michele drank a wee bit too much last night. In a way, I feel sorry for her -- she's a bit of an outcast, not really in with either group in the house.
  • Ah, but she has the power of veto.
  • Chima told Natalie that she (Natalie) won't get the wizard powers.
  • I don't know how Chima can really say that, but I'm sure she's right. I bet Natalie is way low on the totem pole with the viewer votes.
  • Not only did Russell get shorts from Casey, but Jeff did too. He put 'em on and declared they felt "mingly." (Casey's DJ name is Mingle Mixx.)
  • I don't think I'd wear used shorts, but that's just me.
  • Russell and Michele think they're both in the same boat -- on the periphery of the basic house alliances. Neither have anyone really close close for protection.
  • Russell told Michele he owes Chima nothing and really isn't impressed with her or her lifestyle.
  • They will work together, Russell and Michele.
  • That boy does have game! He has Jessie, Jeff and Jordan, and now Michele.
  • Ronnie has been trying to pretend he has the wizard power.
  • Since voting ends Tuesday, no one knows. But the hamsters don't know when -- they were just told some sort of magic power would be bestowed this week.
  • Natalie told Russell that Lydia and Kevin said they wanted to get the stronger players out next week.
  • Natalie would actually rather Lydia go this than Ronnie.
  • Russell seems to know Natalie's anti-Lydia bias.
  • He isn't thrilled with Lydia, but wants Ronnie gone this week more.
  • Michele once again said she won't be using the veto.
  • I really think Michele is not going to use it -- she despises Ronnie.
  • Ronnie went to the HOH room and tried to plea his case with emotion and all.
  • Ronnie might have a new career ... Oscar-winning actor. He apologized, he threw the entire world under the bus ...
  • Did Russell buy it? I don't think so. I don't think Russell is that naive.
  • Ronnie then pulled his act once again with Michele.
  • Did Michele buy it? Nah, i doubt it. She's set in despising him and there's not much he can do to change that.
  • They're all sleeping as I get this posted.

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Saturday Into the Evening 8/01

Jordan is telling Jeff that her dream job would be to be a dental hygienist because they work regular hours and earn good money -- she wouldn't need a man to support her if she got a divorce. Um, lofty goals. For me, a dream job isn't something which is entirely doable.

My dream jobs: Bestselling novelist, working with big cats or doing studies of wild animals in a faraway land. Oh, maybe I'll just be a ballerina!

Here's what's been happening in that Big Brother House of Turning Tides:
  • Jessie whined a lot that his neck has been bothering him. He blames the problem on having to look up so much during the HOH comp. @@
  • Kevin told Jessie his goals in life are/were: get on Big Brother, work for an ad agency, and have a family.
  • Chima denied anything is going on between her and Russell. After all, he's only 25. Oh, five or six years difference. She's not even old enough for it to be cougar lust.
  • Ronnie kept trying to be Michele's buddy and confidant.
  • She doesn't seem to be buying what he's selling.
  • The veto players were chosen -- Jessie, Kevin, and Michele.
  • Jessie fears that if wins the veto and saves Ronnie, Russell might put Natalie on the block.
  • Kevin told Michele she yelled NO in her sleep last night. She's done that before. Hmmm ... maybe she thought Ronnie was sneaking into her bed or something.
  • They've all been talking about the secret power and calling it the wizard. Jeff said America hates him and he's not the wizard.
  • I think he's wrong and lying.
  • Jessie, out last year in the fourth week, is scared someone will use the wizard power and get him evicted this week (week 4). He wants Russell to throw the veto to him so he can keep the nominations as they are.
  • Jessie told Michele everyone is sticking to the plan to vote out Ronnie.
  • We know how well these folks stick to a plan!
  • Chima is the host for the PoV comp. She comes complete with a toga.
  • I guess now that they've graduated, they can have a toga party.
  • TOGA, TOGA, TOGA
  • Ahem. Just reliving the 80s for a bit.
  • Michele won the veto and had Ronnie at her side begging her to save him almost immediately.
  • He told her she can prove she wants to be a part of the five by using it.
  • The comp had something to do with counting (feeds were blocked) rats, graves, feathers, etc.
  • Not feeling really successful, Ronnie worked on Chima to go work on Michele to save his butt.
  • Natalie told Jessie he should go to the diary room to complain about Kevin eating grapes while a Have Not.
  • Michele told Jeff she won't be using the veto.
  • Michele really, really doesn't like Ronnie.
  • Michele and Jeff talked and talked ... more than they've talked so far in the game.
  • Jeff said that unless she was on the block with Jordan, he wouldn't vote for her to go home.
  • New alliance in da house! Jeff, Jordan, Michele ... with a bit of Russell on the fringes.
  • I think Russell will remain loyal for the most part as long as he can with Jessie. But I don't think he has any loyalty to Natalie, Lydia, or Chima.
  • So, there you go. I think we'll see the noms remain the same this week. At least until the coup d'etat.

Big Brother 11: Live Feeds Bulletin - POV 8/01

Late once again (I wish they'd do this later on Saturdays as I'm just getting in) -- Michele won the power of veto.

More later!

Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Into the Dawn Saturday 8/01

Oh, geez. Jessie and Natalie apparently are too good for the Have Not room. They refuse to sleep in it. Now BB won't let them sleep anywhere else but the bedroom at night, so they're up all night. Is this going to go on all week?

Here's what's been going on in that Big Brother House of People of Suspected Vampires (most are still up when it's going on 4 AM there):
  • Jeff is great in the kitchen. Chima keeps telling him he should try out for Hell's Kitchen. I think he should just take over Jackie's Kitchen ... maybe in a cute little pool boy toy outfit. Oops, I digressed.
  • Chima and Natalie are upset that Russell put Ronnie on the block. They think Russell was unnecessarily mean in his speech. But they will put on happy faces because they fear going on the block if he gets himself off.
  • They both think if the veto is won, it can't be used as one of them or Jessie might go up.
  • Natalie says sleeping in the Have Not room will ruin her chances at PoV. Jessie says the food will upset his system and ruin his chances at PoV.
  • Aw, poor babies. It's a shame that they're the first ones in this position, eh? After all, no one else has had to eat slop (and squid and squash), take cold showers, and sleep in the Have Not room. It sucks to be the first, huh?
  • They did their little Jessie and Natalie Show (which I've tried to ignore before) making a plea for votes for the secret power.
  • Jessie told Natalie it might be time to distance themselves from Ronnie.
  • Lydia told Russell he didn't have "the balls" to put up Jessie or Natalie.
  • Russell told her she'll be safe, he only wants Ronnie out. Lydia said that if Jordan was on the block she could just sit there and look pretty once again and Ronnie would go.
  • Russell's intent on getting Ronnie out this week -- before the first hamster is sent to the jury house.
  • Ronnie and Chima think whoever is portrayed as the underdog will win the power -- they say that's why Kris Allen won American Idol.
  • Jeff said he's a sucker for voting for the underdog.
  • I say it's because Underdog fights Riff Raff and I don't like no Riff Raff (Jessie and Natalie!).
  • Michele told Ronnie she thinks he's a liar.
  • You don't say!
  • Russell told Natalie and Jessie that everyone in the house wants Ronnie out. He wants them to go with the flow.
  • Ronnie campaigned with Michele for her vote. He told her his loyalties are with Jessie, Natalie, Chima, and her.
  • Michele still doesn't trust him. Good.
  • Ronnie told her if he leaves this week, Russell will flip the alliances. Now, would that be a bad thing? Not for me, no. And, actually not for Michele. She's a peripheral player at the best. She can be peripheral for either side and the target (or lack thereof) wouldn't change one iota.
  • Chima wants Lydia to go home this week, but says she'll vote the way Russell wants.
  • Jeff and Jordan miss having Casey in the house. He was entertaining.
  • Jordan told Jeff, "Surely they (America) won't vote for Jessie (for the secret power)." Heh. She thinks that this coming Thursday could be the "night of their lives." Methinks she's right. I think Jeff has it in the bag.
  • Chima and Russell joked that if Jordan wins the power, she won't know how to use it and will ask Jeff for advice ... thus losing the power.
  • Kevin told Natalie that he hasn't heard Ronnie specifically say anything bad about her but that he stirs up trouble in the house on the whole.
  • Kevin said that if he wins PoV, he won't use it. He shook hands with Jessie. Ronnie is the one who will get voted out (as long as the nominations remain the same).
  • Jessie, for all of his great intentions when first being a Have Not, fussed on and off ever since becoming one.
  • Ronnie is sure that America will vote for someone who can think out the power ... you know, someone like him.
  • Now Natalie and Jessie have flipped. They want to keep Ronnie.
  • @@
  • Jessie fussed about how he was portrayed last year and how America's Player did him in.
  • As I post this, Jessie, Natalie, and Chima are still up scheming. They want to keep Ronnie now and go against Russell's wishes.
  • They think if he can win over Michele's vote, they'll have the majority.
  • We'll see.
