'So You Think You Can Dance' - 7/26 Live Results Show - East Coast Updates

The show has started here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll update this post with the big events -- the least votes, who's going home. Stop on back!

Some teenybopper heart throb sang. I'm clueless.

Bottom four is two guys and two girls. They will solo, but the solo won't change the votes.

Jaimie is the first girl in the bottom two. It's down to Lauren and Sara to complete the bottom two. Lauren joins Jaimie in the bottom two girls. Now to the boys -- Neil is safe. Finally! Danny is SAFE!

Dominic is in the bottom four (only two guys will be there with two girls). Left for judgment are Kameron and Pasha. Pasha is safe! It's Kameron and Dominic joining Lauren and Jaimie for the bottom four. One guy and one girl will go home.

Huh... Kameron danced his solo looking defeated. Now that all four solos are done, the news is...

...after the break.

Going home tonight are Jaimie and ... Kameron.

I'm glad Dominic is staying. He's improved so much!

  1. Who is this guy? I've never heard of him and he sings like Jessica talks.

  2. Who the heck is this?? He's "special" alright.

I am so out of touch with pop music! LOL

  3. And who threw a flowerpot and doily at Cat's head?

  4. At least I'm not alone in my cluelessness about the singer. I thought he was introduced as Megan ... or something like that.

  5. My predictions...

Kameron rounds out the bottom 4 and...

    Kameron and Jaimie go home.

    (fingers crossed for Pasha!)

  10. The singer is Mika...a Lebanese based out of London.

  11. Thank you, Anon. That was bugging me!

  12. Well, Kameron wasn't a surprise. I'm glad we don't have to see the judges pick him apart again.

I can't remember if they all switch partners again next week? I really want my Pasha to dance with someone else. Lauren just bugs me for some reason.

I really want to see Pasha and Lacey do some ballroom!

  13. I was surprised when Nigel mentioned that some people were offended with the dance last night. I have a child serving in Iraq and that routine had me quite emotional. It is about 120 degrees in Iraq and well, we just miss him, worry about him, and lose a lot of sleep.

I thought Cameron should have gone last week instead of Hok.
But I am glad Lauren stayed.

I know Lacey is a favorite to win but I do not want to see another Schwimmer win back to back. She is very talented, but something bothers me how she mugs for the camera. But she is good.

  14. Kameron came as no shock didn't stop me from voting for him last night. But I knew before he just made it because he was Lacey's partner. But it's still sad... Yet I'm glad Danny finally got a break.

  15. Ie that routine they all did last night was beautiful but I was weepy as Amber by the time the show was over. ( but at least I have a reason to cry. ..with a son over there.)

  16. I have no problem with Lacy winning back to back with her brother. It just shows how talented her family must be. Plus if she loses, can you imagine the sibling bragging rights for the rest of their adult years. As one with an older brother, I am rooting for her!

  17. I thought Nigel voiced my own thoughts. I'm anti-war, but that doesn't mean I don't worry about the troops out there. I want them HOME and safe.

I also don't want Lacey to win. At this point, looking at who's left, I think I have to say I'm for a Danny win (although Pasha is such a talented sweetie - I like his personality as much as his dancing).

  18. I'm feeling the same as cc about Lacey. I think she's even a little cocky. Her smile seems very "practiced" to me.

All dancers have a practiced smiles! That is the first thing you are taught at 3 yrs old...smile even if you forget your step, your costume rips or you get a major charly horse.

  20. Jackie the singer was Mika and he is from London, England. His sound is different but at times he reminds me of Queen - especially in his song "Grace Kelley".

If you would like to hear a much better song than he sang tonight, check out his Myspace and give "Grace Kelley" a shot.

  21. I don't know, this is a dance competition and I'd really rather see special dancing than be subjected to some of these "special" guests. I liked it when they had the swing dance troupe and the tappers on and even bring on some cloggers, but stop with these people. I shouldn't complain,it gives me time to switch over and watch the ballgame...lol.

The two I wanted to go went home. I thought Kam should have gone last week and would have rather seen Hok on the tour. Jaime had never been a fav of mine and wanted her gone before the others. A few weeks ago,I didn't like Lauren, but she has grown on me these last weeks, but think she may go next. I like Lacey but I have been most impressed by Sara, she blows me away each week. I also love Sabra,so I'd like them to be the last two.AND I want a girl to win this time!!!!!!

  22. Mika's "Grace Kelly" is awesome. Great video. I wonder what Kail would think of him...

I am in such a liberal bubble here in San Francisco, I couldn't believe they were having to apologize for an anti-war dance. Is the peace symbol considered unpatriotic? Give me a break!!! Most Americans want the troops out of Iraq.

Onto more superficial things: I'm so glad for Neil, Danny and Sabra, my favorites.

  23. Clementine, I am still giggling about the flower pot and doily remark!! ;)

Think most of us called this one, but I hate to see anyone go... I am a big old softie in that way!

Jackie, I also love Danny! And that little Sabra is something special, as well.

This has been a great season so far!

  24. I was so thrilled for Danny, and he sure showed some emotion when he knew he was safe! I feel bad for Jaimie, she got stuck with a lousy routine and a bad partner. She's really a beautiful dancer. Did anyone else love that opening number as much as I did? Danny was breathtaking. Oh yeah, I think the rest of the dancers were in it too, lol. I guess this vote showed who was carrying who and who was bringing who down - without Lacey and Sabra's fans, Kameron and Dominic couldn't muster enough votes, and without Anya's lack of fans, Danny was able to stay in it.

  25. I'm in the minority here, but I can't stand Danny. He's a great dancer--just ask him.

Technically, he's very good. I love the ballet and I've attended frequently since I was a child. Danny's dancing leaves me really cold.

I'd rather any of the others win.
