8:35 PM ET Update -- Still no eviction. They've laid it out like could be a tie with Adam and Sheila still up in the air. It's not going to go down that way, I'm sure.
The votes were not live and they didn't reveal how each couple voted. It was 3-1 for Jen and Parker to go.

Plaidchick- Yes, I read it this afternoon. I couldn't believe some of the things he was saying and at the same time I couldn't believe I was laughing and agreeing with him. I guess I too am a bit evel. (input devilish smiley here.) I wouldn't be as forward as he is though.

2. Julie seemed more animated than I had ever seen her. Is it possible she likes this group more than any in the past? She didn't mention bathroom sex to Jen, but did bring out how stupidly she played.
3. During HOH did all the hgs mean to vote the worst possible answer for every question or did they just plain not understand what was being asked?
4. When Sharon came back in, Julie said that both Sharon and her ex had been sequestered. I wonder what the will mean to Jen and Parker?

I had to go to the link to read ED's take too. It was so good. I can just see him saying all that stuff. I enjoyed his antics. Everyone thought he was so vulgar talking and unnecessarily attacking Jen but this years group are worst than he was.

Well,Jen lied to Ryan's face right up to the end. The right couple went home. Parker acted like a big baby in the exit interview,but I expected nothing less from him.

ReplyDeleteQuestion: I thought that someone else was the first one to label the autistic children about which Adam was talking as "retards" and Adam went along with the label. It was one of the other guys to whom Adam was talking but I don't remember which one, especially since it took me much longer than usual to learn this cast's names.
Does anyone else remember that or do I have it wrong?
I'd add that I'm not an Adam fan, then again, I don't think I'm a fan of any of the BB9 players. And yet, I watch.

ReplyDeleteYes! I think you have come up with the theme of this season. It is the only thing that makes it all fit.
Last season the decor matched the theme of Alice. Sort of, at least. But this season's furnishings are as odd and disjointed as the hgs personalities. Rough hewn logs (okay rough edges on hgs might fit), fake books lining the upstairs, uh, how does that fit except maybe the play on words "fake boobs" making it a match. There is wood obvious in every scene and I won't even go where that might lead.
As confusing to me is that I am still hanging in trying to make the season work for me. I, too, thought the granimals underwear red haired guy might be the only redeeming one, and then find out he is not who I hoped.
I think BB producers made a big mistake by not putting in at least one 'old fuddy duddy' type. A true mom or pop (not Sylvia and Adam who are more like the aging party girl and the funny uncle who come to Thanksgiving dinner and no one wants to sit next to).But one true contrast that we could watch interact with the cast. These all have the same principles and I think that is why I am having trouble telling them apart.

Adam has always made me feel creepy but now, after reading what Sydney says the NY Post says, I've got a sick feeling that he may be a total hustler.
ReplyDeleteHe is called a Public Relations Mgr. That title never seemed to fit him even before his disgusting remark about autistic children. His over-the-top emotional (angry)behavior in the confessional shows him to be an immature individual IMO. The things he said about Sheila in the beginning in regard to her disappointment of him being her "match" were so much meaner than what she had said about him.
If it turns out that his whole bio is some kind of scam and that he is using Autistic children to "make money", I hope they prosecute his butt. I can't imagine that anyone with the best of intentions in regard to his job would EVER have made that remark. That angry "slip of the tongue" may well have been his undoing if he is involved in a scam. It also may hurt Big Brother in the long run. Someone there wasn't doing their job.
Good grief, do they not complete background checks on these people??

Unfortunately I can't remember where it was and I just checked CBS.com and it's not there so I'm out of luck finding it again. Maybe this Adam was a replacement?

I saw the Sho 2 where James used the n word... he's a kid and he used it completely conversationally, to Ryan when he, Ryan and Adam were talking in the back yard. Here is the context in which it was said:
ReplyDeleteAfter getting their HOH room, James and Chelsia drank the wine or whatever alcohol they got to celebrate. She crashes out and he goes to the backyard, finds Ryan and Adam. All have a smoke and they talk about being bro's and having a new plan called Condor. James is sweetly slurring a little, wide eyed and totally trusting of these guys, telling them he read "the pamphlet" -- from producers outlining the week's events -- and found out first thing in the morning he/Chelsia have to nominate 2 couples. They discuss the who's and all the angles, and James sounds very nervous about having to do that. Ryan says, no worries man, let's call it a night on this convo and we'll discuss first thing in the morning.
After using all kinds of bro's and such James then says, Nigga, wake me up in the morning for sure, if I'm not up, come up to the room, pound on my door, just let's be sure to talk this out before I have to nominate. Ryan then says no problem, will do.
Like it or not, it's just a figure of speech with this age group now, having grown up on rap and being more racially intermixed than ever before. Just like how guys call girls dude, and girls call each other dude. But he didn't call anyone the N word, or use it racially. I hate the N and the C word, but I understand this is how it's used today, and (the niggah) has always been used among people of color to each other -- in those contexts it's not intended to be derogatory... just one perspective to add.
With all the controversy nowadays about this particular word, James should know better. I agree, he didn't use it in a derogatory manner, but he could easily have used a different word. His use of it at all is bound to ruffle some feathers. Get ready.

Did anyone notice how Jen held Parker's hand, however Ryan just got to place his hand on her leg when Julie was about to announce who was being evicted? Like where the hell is her devotion to Ryan at? Just another reason Ryan should take a good long look at who he has in his life. Of course we don't know what will happen in the house for Ryan now that Jen is gone.
I do think the house voted the right couple out. Parker had his moments of child's play. Allison and Ryan I think can actually TRY to play the game a little better now.
With that said, I do not have a favorite at this time. I vote to "enlist" Dick into the BB House! I think he would win, even without a partner...and to think I really did not care for him last season.
