The show has started here on the East Coast. This post will be updated with the major events as it airs, but the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is welcome, bring your own snacks and beverages! Later tonight my show review will be posted on TV Squad.
Yay! We got footage of Jordan chest-bumping Russell! Of course, we got a lot of the Russell/Jeff verbal brouhaha, too. Upcoming is the vote (of course) and Jessie gets his new jury house roomie -- Lydia.
Julie announced that Have - Have Not is over for the season.
The vote to evict:
Jordan --> Russell
Kevin --> Russell
Michele --> Russell
Russell is evicted. He went out totally classy (although a bit backpedalling).
The HOH comp started. It's going to go on beyond the show as the four are running across a slick "graham cracker" filling a 16 gallon bowl with 8 ounce mugs of hot chocolate. I'll be setting up a separate post after the show ends to monitor the HOH comp on the feeds. While not an endurance, it's going to take some time.
Julie said there will be a new twist to HOH next week which will affect everyone.

And here we go!!!
ReplyDeleteYee haw!!! Party time!
ReplyDeleteThe show has began.....if BB doesn't edit this too much....let the fireworks begin!!!
ReplyDeleteFight night on CBS BB!
ReplyDeleteHaven't been able to keep up with the daily waffling. I'm sure hoping Nasty Nat managed to tip her cards and Jeff figures out what game she's playing before it's too late. I have a feeling it's too late tho!
ReplyDeleteGot my hot wings ready. Now for a cold brew to go with them.

ReplyDeleteLordy, Lordy, here we go...
ReplyDeleteIf this somehow works out for Jeff--it will be shocking. And probably dumb luck.
ReplyDeleteFunny, Monty.
Interesting. Natsty Nat is dressed in "Athletic" wear, while it looks like Russell is in slacks and a sports coat.
ReplyDeleteI wonder which one thinks they're meeting the audience tonight.
I have the cooler full of beer and iced down C O L D! Help yourself everyone. :)
ReplyDeleteUGHHH! I'm in Jax and the game is on! No BB for me!
ReplyDeleteSSW
You too have the advantage now.. Natalie you haven't one a thing!!
ReplyDeleteYay it's starting. I still feel kinda sorry for Russel. The guy may have a short fuse but if there is one thing it's that he has always kept his word. He can't really trust Russel any less than Kevin or Natalie either and now the chances of him going home are probably better than they would have been. Everyone would have probably been gunning for Russel and Jeff but now Jeff is gonna be the main target. I have lost some of my respect for Jeff after all this as well but Jordan has been the one I hope to win for a while.
ReplyDeleteThey've been relatively weak players...But havta admit; Kevin and Natalie are doin' what they need to do.
ReplyDeleteHey, I am here, but empty handed. I had a ME Day and did not get back to the house until rather late, then had to go check Momma's BP. Can't wait to see what happens.
ReplyDeleteLove the pig pen Nasty Monty.
Does Jeff really expect Russell say he made a smart move? Wait until next week until N/K bite him up the behind.
I'd love to wipe that smerk off Natalies face!
ReplyDeleteJeff is a dick...
ReplyDeleteRussell is very disappointing. I was fooled. Very poor behavior.
ReplyDeleteI think Jeff will be toast if Jordan doesn't win HOH which is unlikely anyway. I still don't know if that was a smart move to put up Russell. If Jeff maanges to get by next week I think he will definately wind up in the final 2. I am cracking my 3rd coor's light now enjoy all.
ReplyDeleteJeff is so stupid. He is provoking Russ. Though Russ as a professional fighter is leagally not allowed to fight Jeff. It would be a felony, he knows the risks and wouldn't fight anyone over something so stupid
ReplyDeleteThe only thing Natalie is good at in the game is lieing
ReplyDeleteWell, that was rather tame for the edit! More fireworks to come.
ReplyDeleteBe kind of funny if Kevin voted to keep Russell but Michelle didn't...
ReplyDeleteI lovbe the way they slant it -- it looks like Kevin will switch. He won't. I did laugh at the smirk on his face when Russell blew up. Why do I like it when Kevin smirks, but want to slap Nasty when she does.
ReplyDeleteJordan is a bit of an ass, herself...
ReplyDeleteKevin isn't going to flip, which would be an awesome shock and awe for Natalie..
ReplyDeleteOhhh Hell Lydia and Jessie time coming up!
If Kevin were to enter into an alliance with Russel he would have a better chance after the HOH comp because Natalie hasn't even been close to a contender she's just been sticking at winners sides the whole time. Russel will be gunning for Jeff anyways. He was right though, entering into a final 2 with Michelle didn't have anything to do with their final 4 plan. I'm not really sure who it would be good to have stick around right now though.
ReplyDeleteGood, JH next! Wonder how many HJ Lydia has given him and how many sandwiches she has made in the week she has been there?
ReplyDeleteGoodie!! THE reunion is up next. This should be worth watching. I wonder how long it'll take for Lydia to realized she was used by a pinhead.
ReplyDeleteSo now we know BB wants Jeff to be the "golden boy". Those 2 fights were really editted to make Russ the bad guy!!
ReplyDeleteI am going to hurl
ReplyDeleteB A R F!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're the ding-dong Jessie
ReplyDeleteJust got to the party. What an explosion from Jordan. WOW!
ReplyDeleteThis feels like it happened months ago...
ReplyDeleteShe disgusts me!
ReplyDeleteyeah, I bet he tries to slip one in...
ReplyDeleteIt would be funny if they booted Natalie, but it won't happen.
ReplyDeleteLydia--"I am soo mad at you, Jessie....where's the bedroom??
ReplyDeleteit would be cool if Jordan won HOH and Nat got out. That would be Jessie, Lydia, Russ and Nat all by one person really (Jeff). That has never really happened in BB
ReplyDeleteRussell looks pretty nice all purtied up.
ReplyDeleteMonty, I certainly hope you and Plaid Chick used the bucket!
ReplyDeleteRuss is gone. He won't do anything to Jeff. He's all bark.
ReplyDeleteI thought they told them to dress normal for tonight's HoH. Looks like they all think its endurance? hmmm
ReplyDeleteIs Nasty seriously wearing her athletes clique jersey on the live eviction show? I'd like to think that if I knew I was going to be on live national TV I would at least dress semi-formal and not look like trash.
ReplyDeleteBoy, Lydia really told Jessie off, huh? (!)
ReplyDeleteJessie said he would vote for Jeff if he made it to F2? Did I hear that right? Going to have to rewatch my tape.
ReplyDeleteDid I hear the pinhead say he'd might actually vote for Jeff if he was in the F2?
ReplyDeleteWith him trusting Nasty, I doubt that's going to happen, but it would be something to see Jessie vote for Jeff!
I keep my bucket close by Becky. You never know! :)

She is preparing for the endurance comp
wow,did everyone notice that when Jordan was asked a question, she took a few seconds to put on her pure and innocent face?
ReplyDeleteEyes wide , sweet smile.
I bet she practised that look for weeks at home when she learned she would be on BB.
Give me the bucket
ReplyDeleteThat might be the best speech ever from the chair. Way to go, Natalie....
ReplyDeleteThey should vote Nat out just for making that stupid comment
ReplyDeleteW O W!! I'm impressed with Russell's speach!
ReplyDeleteEVICT Natalie!!!!!
ReplyDeletei knew it Jordan
ReplyDeleteOf course she will vote to evict Russell. No surprise there.
ReplyDeleteBye, bye Russell.
we know kev will vote for nat---
ReplyDeleteSo...Russell getting in those fights w/J&J was just strategy? I think not.
ReplyDeleteBuh-Bye Russ.
I like how Julie pretends to watch the screen as the lights dim dramatically.
ReplyDeleteOops, I meant speech. Russell must think he has a chance at AC afterall, LOL. NOT

Actually, I think it might have been. He was actually more in control in his confrontations, even with Jessie, than Jordan or Jeff. He might have felt that if he was "hated" enough, he'd be the one they wanted opposite them in the Final 2. Obviously didn't work, but he might have been faking...he cooled off instantaneously which is hard to do if you are really mad.
Wow--Russ took the high road and didn't say anything to look like an idiot. Good for him.
ReplyDeleteJeff--I'm trying to make her a better person?? When did she ask for that or it become his job?!?
How bout being her friend and supporting her instead of correcting her and yelling at her!!
I noticed that they did have a couple of goodbye messages for Lydia.
ReplyDeleteMichelle really should have voted for Nat to leave. That would give her one jury vote if she were lucky enough to get to F-2.
Dang!! I knew it was going this way, but that doesn't mean I have to like it!!
ReplyDeleteI really, really don't like Nasty and don't want her to win!!
I was wondering if Michele would vote for Russell or not. I can understand her voting him out tho. I'm sure she knew it was a losing battle to try to keep him, and not voting for Nasty would make her look better in Nat's eyes. Self preservation.
I thought they weren't supposed to tell anyone how they vote..? Natalie obviously knew.
ReplyDeleteNow I don't care who win. I think Michelle is the lesser of the "evels." She played well and is finally a unique reality show contestants. Smart nerdy awkward women are usually not cast especially on BB.
ReplyDeleteC'mon Hot'nNasty...now's a good time for an HOH...LOL.
ReplyDeleteIf Michelle voted for Russell, it would have made her public enemy #1 in the house. Remember, it was Russell's vote for Jessie that "proved" to Jeff that he couldn't be trusted.
ReplyDeleteLOL Julie!! So bogus
ReplyDeleteClassy exit. I was glad to see it.
ReplyDeleteThat was the exit with the most class.
ReplyDeleteThat was a classy exit. Jeff even tried to provoke him again and Russ just played it off cool with a nice goodbye.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm so late. I see from Jackie's post that Russell is out. No surprise but I was hoping it was all an elaborate trick on Natalie.
ReplyDeleteNow to read the comments while HOH is going on.
Jeff is an ass...I hope all you Jeffsters have reconsidered...
ReplyDeletewhat a good sport. that's a nice plan for saying later it was all an act and saving his own butt.
ReplyDeleteRussell was very gracious in his loss.
ReplyDeleteWash your hair, Nat!
Jeff and Jordan were really uncool in their goodbye, and Russell showed class. Go figure!
Natalie, Michelle, Kevin and Russell all showed more class tonight than Jeff or Jordan.
ReplyDeleteJeff IS good at getting people to reveal their bad sides. Obviously he turned America against Jeff. Remember he was the one who got Jeff to call him the F-word (slur for gay people) and other homophobic slurs. He made Chima get ghetto and looked what has happened to little miss southern-bell Jordan
ReplyDeleteAnd then there were five.....
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! It is an endurance. I love it!
ReplyDeleteRussell completely surprised me tonight. My jaw is still on the floor.
Well...the "composite" thing sounds good on paper, but in real life ya need to figure out a genuine strategy to stay in that house.
ReplyDeleteI mean't "Russ" in ANON 8:46, NOT "Jeff"
ReplyDeleteIt was Nat and Kevin who turned Jeff head against Russ, not Michelle. He won't find that out until later though. too bad.
ReplyDeleteI still love Jeff & Jordan. Remember, people, the key word is "editing."
ReplyDeleteAt least Russel was classy at the eviction and upon his exit. I don't think he could have won but I don't think it was a good idea of Jeff to do what he did. I would like to see either Kevin or Michelle win. Now he only has one person on his side and Jordan was getting herself involved in something that was not her fight. It was nice to finally see some fire from the girl but with the editing I can't really tell how bad the Russ/Jeff argument was prior to Natalie telling Jordan about it.

Really, how about what we saw live?
Do any of you recognize anyone in the audience?
ReplyDeleteMy pix isn't too good since it's the feeds, so I can't tell.
I predict Kevin wins this one.
ReplyDeleteARGH!!! What is with the overnight HOH comps this season. Definitely will be tuning in the blog tonight...
ReplyDelete4 miles. Ugh this is going to take awhile.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Jeff ever forgave Russ for the first time Russell went off on him. I have a feeling he bears a grudge a long time.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Southern Belle crack, Anon, ladies from the South get angry and blow up. If someone picks on us, we don't stay sweet and butter won't melt in our mouth. We will rip your head off!
I loved this comp during S8. Let's see some slip'n and slide'n. I hope Michele's clumsiness doesn't do her in.
ReplyDeleteThat's 256 cups, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteContrary Joe.
ReplyDeleteWhat I saw live was the same J & J I like. What'd you see?
I predict Michelle will win. One thing's for sure, Jordan will not win and either she or Jeff will be on the block. Navin's best plan would be to backdoor Jeff in case he wins the Veto
ReplyDeleteI predict Michelle will win. One thing's for sure, Jordan will not win and either she or Jeff will be on the block. Navin's best plan would be to backdoor Jeff in case he wins the Veto
ReplyDeleteI would NOT like that comp. I wonder how they're going to switch it up. I can't imagine production is going to just have them go back & forth.
ReplyDeleteWell, 4 miles is a lot to be carrying a cup of hot chocolate. I wonder if it really is hot.
It's going to get real sticky & slippery with the spills.
Doesn't Jordon work as a waitress? She should be good at carrying beverages without spilling. Get ready...this is going to become a Slip-n-Slide soon
ReplyDeleteHmmm ~ a new twist! GOODIE!!
ReplyDeleteWhere's the door with the ? on it?
They gonna bring back another player maybe??
ReplyDeleteOoooooo, a secret door! Wonder what that reveal will be?
ReplyDeleteI guess you never know in this game but Natalie is now going to be the winner. What was with the thank ylu CBS speech?
ReplyDeleteAgain, the effing "Green" BB house sprays gallons upon gallons of chocolate in the yard....LMAO
ReplyDeleteGO Michelle!
ReplyDeleteSo Russ was acting? Acting like an ass from NY?
ReplyDeleteAre those the only pants Mich. has?? She wears them every comp. and her mic always pulls them down so everyone sees her butt!!
ReplyDeleteJordan is looking pretty good so far but I think Kevin is in the lead.
ReplyDeleteNat's as slow as a turtle. What else is new?
ReplyDeleteIt's a game and others have "lost it" a lot worse. Still loving Jeff and Jordan!
If Kev or Nat wins HOH J & J can kiss the day goodbye!
ReplyDeleteOh Jackie--it's going to be another long night!!!! Just know I with....even if I am 3 hrs. behind! LOL
ReplyDeleteKevin is pretty co-ordinated. He has a good chance.
ReplyDeletemy strategy would be to use the floors as a slip and slide and at least slide my way back to the barrels. You could even slide to marshmallows if you cover the cup right.

8/27/2009 8:53 PM
I saw really poor sportsmanship in their exit speeches for Russell. I saw Jeff picking a fight with Russell. I saw Jordan physically assault Russell. I'm not being contrary, and I'm not the only one saying it - including some Jeffsters.

Funny, I thought the same thing, but I kind of doubt it based on the timing of the finale.
Michele is smart. She covers the top with her hand. Less spillage.
ReplyDeleteGULP!!! I can't believe I'm saying this......Joe.....Great Point I totally agree!!
ReplyDeleteOkay, I woke up too early, had a very busy day and am ready to read one of my new books and make it an early night. Catch you later. Thanks for letting me mooch the cool one Monty and the hot wings PDXG!
ReplyDeleteThey couldn't bring back an evicted player. They have been on the outside and have an unfair advantage. I also don't think it's someone from the JH...they just did that last season.
ReplyDeleteWHO's GOING to the Project Runway Discussion post with me tonight?
ReplyDeleteThey are re-showing last week's first ep right now on Lifetime, to be followed by the second ep new tonite.
Maybe it's Dr. Will! He lives nearby, doesn't he?
ReplyDeleteHow about a secret co HOH??, or a person that has to help them with the noms?
ReplyDeleteMOnty, thanks for bringing the beer... I was just too late to read you did.
ReplyDeletePDX-- ditto to you with the Hot wings. Becky, I love your avatar, no surprise there....
Joe, do you think how Natalie eats is Hot?
Like someone said last week: WHY does Julie promote the feeds, when they're DOWN all the time?!!!
ReplyDeleteFeeds are back up, Natalie looks dead last
ReplyDeleteJeff just said You're killing it bro, I'm guessing he's referring to Kevin who looked like he was leading as the show ended
ReplyDeleteKevin is running, Natalie is barely walking, she's banking on Kevin winning, as usual...
ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell where Michelle is? ANywhwere close to Kevin if he's first?
ReplyDeleteJeff, better start preparing for that POV!
ReplyDeleteJoe, do you think how Natalie eats is Hot?
ReplyDelete8/27/2009 9:08 PM
Actually, that doesn't bother me. It's not "hot" in and of itself, but it's not a deal breaker.
How full do the bowls look so far?
ReplyDeleteLazy and dirty isn't a deal breaker either.
ReplyDeleteI would say Michele is in 2nd place
ReplyDeleteNatalie was not prepared for the elements, it's 102 in Studio City
Joy bowl looks about 1/3 full for Kevin, he has a good jog/slide going.. Jordan and Natalie keep falling
ReplyDeleteKevin looks halfway, I would say he wins it unless he slows down majorly
ReplyDeleteIn their goodbye, Jeff and Jordan showed their lack of class. Their speech was hateful. Hey Jeff, I thought it was only a game!!!! Russ showed more class than either of them and to think they were my favorites.
ReplyDeleteI also don't get Jeff's logic that thinking about a final two broke the final four deal. As if Jeff has not been thinking about a final two for weeks. Does Jeff have any smarts? Nastlie spoke to us guys when she thanked CBS and for the honor of being on BB. She wants our vote if America gets to vote. Hey Natalie, we're not stupid. As for j/j, all they want from Michele is to vote out Russell, vote as they dictate and when they no longer need her, they will throw Michele under the bus. Go Michele!
How's Michele's bowl?
ReplyDeleteKevin 1st
ReplyDeleteMichele 2nd
Jordan 3rd
Natalie 4th
Michele has started running
ReplyDeleteI can't get a clear picture in my head of what the HOH comp is but that's okay. I'll see it later tonight when it cools off a bit. Oh wait, that will be in the early morning!
ReplyDeleteOT
Sydney, I'll be watching PR but it's on much later here. I love that show.
Come on, Michele!
ReplyDeleteNatalie is doing her usual pitbull growling
ReplyDeleteKevin definitely has about half as more liquid in his bowl than Michele
ReplyDeletepost above
ReplyDeleteKevin hasn't said a word, he's focused, natalie is bitching about the comp.. of course
ReplyDeleteCalled S'mores something, Laurie. They have to fill a cup with hot chocolate and run with it to a bowl and fill it over and over. Marshmallows will float to top. First to remove marshmallows wins.
ReplyDeleteCups are 8 oz. and bowl holds 16 gallons. That's 256 trips with full cups.
Natalie, Michelle, Kevin and Russell all showed more class tonight than Jeff or Jordan.
ReplyDelete8/27/2009 8:46 PM

I agree, what happened to Jeff's most popular quote " It's only a game? I liked Jeff, but lately his actions/words haven't been any better than Russells.
I prefer Mitchell over Jordon, at various times even Nat over Jordon.
There's something about Jordon
I sense isn't right about her, she appears fake, her so called
" fights " appear child-like, she tends to adjust her hair prior to each argument, as if shes worried about her looks during an argument, remember the silly argument Jordon had with Lydia,
I laughed because it was a delay reaction and only after Jordon had viewed/fixed her hair.
The goody two-shoes image doesn't match Jordons comments for Russell, she actually reminded me of Ronnies comments to Mitchell.
Jackie has new post up.
ReplyDeleteEver notice how much easier it is for physically attractive people to be forgiven their bad behavior than for the regular Joe to be forgiven his.
ReplyDeleteI ask myself, would I still like Jeff and Jordan after their less than stellar behavior if he were 5ft 3in tall and she had an acne covered face.

Well, I'm gorgeous and some people don't like me! LOL!
