Ack. Evil Russell went looking for a hidden idol just in case there was one ... and found it. He's allied with Jaison.
Galu won immunity and fishing gear. Ben (Foa Foa) was kicked out of the challenge for cheap shots. Good Russell chose Yasmin to visit camp.
Mike was removed from the game due to dangerously low blood pressure after the challenge.
Evil Russ's target Betsy was voted out.

Watching the pre-season show on TVGuide, Jeff disclosed that there would be two immunity idols, one for each tribe, but that they would be in the opposing tribe's campsite. He said that if someone wanted to look for the idol, they would have to find a way to do so in the other team's camp. Since bad Russell got the other team's idol, I wonder if he can even use it to save himself?

AS much as I don't like Russell I will have to give him props for looking for and finding the II. That was brillant and shows he understands the game even if he is a jerk.

Oh yeah Zoetawny & my guy Mike is gone. I don't know if it is permenantly gone or just a few days gone. Either way his days are numbered or this season.
I had not formed any attachment to him so it was not a big deal to me.
I am just going to enjoy the the show and cheer for whoever suits my fancy on any given night.
I was sorry to see Betsy go. I think she could have been an interesting mental player even if not a great physical player.

Laurie, now that you have seen this episode, what did you think of your girl??? Hasn't she ever seen Survivor before. She goes over to tell them she's going to show them how to win a competition and then gets into a fight with one of their team. She may have found out a lot about them if she had just shut up and listened. Then she could have reported back to her group.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I despise Evil Russell, I have to admit he's playing a hell of a game so far. Don't know how far it will take him. The man definitely lacks finesse. He's reminding me somewhat of EvilDick in how he gets in their faces. But if Fao Fao doesn't win a comp or two pretty soon, there won't be much of a merger later. The Galu aren't deaf, dumb or blind and if ER is still there for the merge, I'd bet he won't be there for long.
Ben seems to be ER with a physically mean side thrown in for good measure, making him worse at the moment.
Wish it would turn out to be true about Evil Russell not being able to keep that hidden idol he found. That just might burst his evil bubble a bit.
Now if only someone would weave him a grass skirt. Those skivvies are so far beyond gross and they're only up to day six. I'd pray to the Survivor gods to rid him of them except he probably has another "Sunday best" pair at the ready. We may be doomed for the season. UGH!!!

Vincent sure is a handsome fellow and sounds like he's very affectionate and loving towards you. I'm very happy you found a great companion.
Well, I hope this Survivor season isn't going to be "The Russell Show". I know... he's good for the ratings. Just looking at him disgusts me and when he opens his mouth I feel even stronger. I forget who has him in our pool...my apologies. ;)
My Mike is gone already...not missing him. I'm sure he would have liked to stay but I didn't see him going very far anyway. I'm curious to know if the applicants who are accepted have to have a physical? It might be a good idea especially for those over 40...or would that be age discrimination?

Yasmine was a hoot comparing the "hood and the woods". I've never been in the hood but I don't think I could take the woods either, at least not without some good camping gear and a motor home. ;)
Sorry to see Betsy go. She seemed like one of the good ones but we didn't get to see her game play much.
All in all, it's going to be an interesting season.
OT...Did anyone watch "Flash Forward"? I recorded it since it's on at the same time as Survivor. It looks like my type of show.

I can understand why her team captain volunteered her to spend a day with the other tribe. I think they were glad to get rid of her for the day!
