Before we get started, I want to thank all the gals from the blog who went to Las Vegas for the photos and postcards. It looked like you all had a ball!
The merge went down with a feast.
Two will win immunity. Women play against women, men against men. One woman, one man safe from tribal council. John won for the men. Laura wins for the women ... thus ruining Russell's plan.
Russell played his idol but got no votes. Erik should have played his idol. 2 votes for Jaison, the rest for Erik (it seems). Heh. Bye-bye, Erik.

ReplyDeleteYay, the merge is here. I saw an extended preview today, and I can honestly say that Erik is a jerk. Let's just say that Jaison, Mick and Natalie aren't impressed with him.

ReplyDeleteRussell's trying to whittle down Galu's numbers and Shambo wanted Laura out for personal reasons. Russell, too, I guess. Anyone who doesn't bow to him, he considers disrespectful and hones in on them. Can't wait to see who they zero in on next.

Looks like Russell's in trouble next week. I'm glad Erik went home. He was so condescending to the Foa Foa tribe. I couldn't stand him ever since he made the comments to them at the joint tribal council.

ReplyDeleteI also believe that Erik sealed his fate with all that bullcrap at Tribal Council... didn't he realize that he was putting down everyone but himself. His own tribe were doing Jackie's @@.
I did have to do an amazed laugh every time Russell spoke when away from the tribe. He is so delusional it's pathetic the way he thinks everything is going his way. Showing that idol to everyone was stupid. They all knew he had it, so they forced him to use it.
I was surprised that Jeff didn't ask if anyone wanted to use it before he read the votes. I know there had been no mention of it previously, but how would you know when you could use it, other than having seen the show before.
After it was shown, shouldn't he have asked if anyone else had an idol they wanted to use. Glad he didn't cause it may have prompted Erik to use his, but just sayin'.
Now Russell is in trouble. He has only his wit to get him through from now on, and that ain't saying much!
Glad you liked the pix and postcards Jackie...some were very artistic..mine wasn't one of them. LOL

Meb, I watched again today, and you're right, they did tell her but... I don't think she really believed they would do it. When Jeff read the 5th vote for Erik, she turned to her right and looked at Erik as if she were as surprised as he. As Jeff read the other two votes, she had a questioning look on her face. That makes me think that she hadn't taken it seriously when they told her. And, apparently, no one else bothered to convince her that they were serious. Ten people "in the loop" knew it was "for sure". She didn't seem to.

I fogot. That vote for Erik might hurt her. If the others think she did it for a jury vote, that won't go over very well. Or it may get the others to think that she is a wildcard vote and they won't trust her to vote on who they want her to. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
