Survivor Samoa Season Finale Blog Party Post

Argh, football doesn't care that we have a season finale and reunion show to watch. Football doesn't care that we're already booked for TV watching until 11 PM. That's right -- tonight's show is delayed here in the NYC viewing area. I believe 60 Minutes started at about 7:22 PM ET instead of 7:00 PM. While football doesn't care about our lack of sleep tonight, graphic artist Zoetawny cared enough to make us a new logo for the show. (She rocks, as we all know.)

Once the show starts, this entry will be updated with major events. But the real details and fun will be in the comments area. Everyone is welcome and you can even bring food and beverages. I do ask that no one swings from the chandelier, please. I'm going to open up the post now and I'll let you know when the show starts here.

8:22 PM ET and we're finally starting here. (Grr.)

Apparently it started on time in some places and Brett has won immunity again. Jaison was voted out according to those who have the show airing on time.

Russell has won immunity! (Finally!)

Brett voted out.

Natalie wins. That is SO wrong. At least Russell won the 100 thousand from the fan vote.

  1. Go Russell
I have Jaison in the pool but still think russell deserves the money, despite my initially finding him repulsive. I now find him amusing, colorful, and definitely a good gamer.
However that being said if Brett makes it to the final 2 or 3?
I believe the mostly Galu jury,(not shambo necessarily) will award Brett the money against any Foa Foa. UGH I am not for that happening.

  2. Chris, I still find him repulsive, but he deserves the win.

Hey, Jackie and Vincent. Cute pictures today.

    ReplyDelete
  3. It is starting on time here. I don't know what football game we had. I won't spoiler it for anyone. Except to say...it begins with a recap. : )

    ReplyDelete
  4. I wish we could skip the walk down memory lane while they try and think of something nice to say about all those who are gone. Am I the only one who feels this way?

BTW, I have tamales and cold beer. Anyone want one?

    ReplyDelete
  5. WTF! If football or any other sports event runs over they should move forward with the regularly scheduled programming.

    ReplyDelete
  6. They did that one time and the scream was heard around the world. I feel as you do, but I guess they figure if we want to see the next show we will hang around.

    ReplyDelete
  7. My snack is going to burn because of damn football. Alec Baldwin makes me gag. Now I have to sit thru Andy f'kin Rooney.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Becky,

I agree, but sometimes a few of the earlier outs do get more screen time in that little bit than they did all season. If Brett hadn't made it as far as he did, with what little screen time he got early on when they got to his torch we would have said "wait...who WAS he anyways?" :)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Ah yes, Becky, HeidiGate.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Oh, boy! So, Russell didn't think it was a big deal that Brett won two in a row.

    ReplyDelete
  11. WOAH!!!! Brett won again! Russel was so FAST on those beams. His low to the groundness is helpful there.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Anon.... go tend to your snack!

    ReplyDelete
  13. brett again won the immunity
    omg
they should vote out jaison he performed horribly!
russell should have had it but seemed to have a puzzle brain fart
    mick was close too

omg brett will win and there will be no suspense in the end
    phooey

  14. I'm just going to ask again here -- Did last post and no one answered as it was after the show... really want to know your different opinions:

Can anyone tell me WHY no one has voted Russell out so they can win the million dollars? Yes he had an idol, but he was so confident he wasn't using it each time. Why not have the ballz to blindside him? Maybe next TC? If they don't get him out, he WILL win, deservedly so.

    ReplyDelete
  15. brett will win against any of foa foa if he makes it one more immunity

    ReplyDelete
  16. I think that Russell might go home.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Well Jasion, we'll se if it will be you and Russell in the F3

    ReplyDelete
  18. I can't believe the finale is here. Where has this year gone? I'm OK with anybody but Russell. I know, I know, he did play a good game but I never got over my dislike for his attitude.

I hope all of you on the east coast have survived the blizzard. I haven't read Jackie's posts yet but I'm sure there are great photos there.

Well, back to wrapping Christmas presents before I collapse and miss the show tonight.

    Jackie...

A big thanks for all you do here on the blog. I really miss having the time to join in but RL has consummed me this past year.

    Stay warm and safe!

    Happy Holidays!
    xoxo

    ReplyDelete
  19. No, everyone thinks that "they" are in the final two with Russell.

    Brett is a real cutie.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Zoetawny Merry Christmas to you also. Thank you for all the wonderful graphics this Survivor season!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. They made the correct vote. Jaison is a nice guy, but he is weak compared to the other three Foa Foa.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well, I think Jasion should have gone no matter what.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Of course Russell lost Jaison's vote.... no surprise there, though if he gets to cool ooff before the f3 vote, he might give it to Russell for his best game.

Yes, Brett won three in a row at the end. He is a contender for sure skill wise, but will the jury vote for him just because he was a team member? Won't some of his former tribe give RUssell votes for superior gameplay all along? I guess they don't know how Russell worked since day 1 because they weren't on his (losing team).

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yes, have a very Merry Christmas Zoetwany! Thank you for a year full of wonderful graphics.

Hey, Jackie, are you going to have the blog open for those of us non-party goers on New Years Eve? Since you won't have to be posting updates you could join us. Unless you and Vincent have other plans that is.....

    ReplyDelete
  25. Sure, Becky. I'll be staying in that night.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thanks, Jackie. Any particular snacks you want us to bring?

Oh, poop, the walk down memory lane.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Sydney, to answer your question..I don't know. He must just have them all snowed by thinking he will get them to the end. Are they scared of him? He made one big glaring error...maybe more but I remember one. No one would have known how much money he says he has (maybe he is lying about having it) if he had not told someone. He was playing the poor guy (remember the Katrina talk) and then had to brag about making money. His ego kept him there and his ego might be his undoing.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Becky - Chocolate fits any occasion.

I feel like I'm in a time warp reading things not aired here yet. Please keep it up guys! I want to know!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Wonder if they give them cue cards so they can all have something nice to say about each one of them.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Poor Jackie, how much time is left in the game?

    ReplyDelete
  31. No time left, but I'm running over 20 minutes behind

    ReplyDelete
  32. On behalf of non-football folks, I apologize that my AFC Division Champs SD Chargers held up the airing of CBS shows due to a last minute winning field goal. For other fans, what a game!!

Okay, back to Survivor. I am sorry some had to miss the first 20 minutes of the show. That's just not right!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Glad the walk down memory lane is over. On the Plus side it did give me time to grade papers and see my pool pick again. Kelly...hmm...she was like blend right? can't really remember her.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Didn't miss it. Just delayed.

    ReplyDelete
  35. mrs.whiggins12/20/2009 8:54 PM

I'm liking that most of the memories are from the outcats themselves!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I cannot believe my guy the invisible Brett is still in this, that is if he wins this next immunity.

    ReplyDelete

    I do Becky.

  39. I put dinner away while they did the review....

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't like this challenge. I like endurance for the last challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  41. OMG could they have staged this better?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Russell's got a leaner

    *giggle*

    ReplyDelete
  43. Just a delay on a three hour show I have to write up for on TV Squad before I go to bed when I have to get up before five tomorrow morning.

I'm so not a football fan.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wow, how are either keeping their figure on tha tpole in that wind???????

    ReplyDelete
  45. wow, the suspense. JEFF THE PRODUCER is loving this! (and so are we)

    ReplyDelete
  46. oh Brett, don't lose it. It will be such a better TC with bretta dn Russell in it.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Gawd, that's got to feel horrible. IF Russell lost it would not be as risky for him, as his other 2 teammates are on his side. It will be a bummer if Brett is voted off tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  48. That guy is just darn lucky. Wonder if he will keep his word to Brett? LOLOLOL

Oh, and Jackie, plan on chocolate covered strawberries to eat with your Champaign. Perhaps we can all have a chocolate pig-out!

    ReplyDelete
  49. Russel-- you rock- Just won immunity!

    Angie in KC

    ReplyDelete
  50. now russell has to vote out brett or it will be his worst move ever
    he cant win against brett
the jury should vote for russell if they are not holding a grudge
    remember Rob and Amber egad
    russell vote out brett

    ReplyDelete
  51. Yeah, Brett, if you believe Russell then I have a bridge I would like to sell you.

    ReplyDelete
  52. "Man of his word".... ROFLMAO!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Russell is only worried about the jury votes if he lies to the last Galu too.

    ReplyDelete
  54. yes but russell has lied to everyone at some point
but give the guy props they never tried to vote him out except when he played the idol and they underestimated him
and realize they all rode his coattails to the end since he promised them final 3
now is not the time to keep brett
sorry i think that will be his dumbest move.
and he would betray mick and just hand another vote to brett.

    ReplyDelete
  55. If he is egotistical enough to keep Brett, then Russell deserves to lose.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Russell, after winning immunity looks at the camera and says "I feel like I just won the game'. I keep thinking, Pride Goes Before a Fall and also not Counting Chickens before they hatch. I am just too darned scared to jinx myself to say something like that. Ego, they name is
    Russell

    ReplyDelete
  57. Is Russell that crazy to take Brett?

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm finally here!!
    So what's going on?

    Margo

    ReplyDelete
  59. You have to respect the final three for making it as the underdogs. The one I didn't want to win is the one who deserves to win. Russell is the most amazing player of all time in my book. He beats out Richard Hatch anyday.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Foa Foa is the final three: Russell, Natalie and Mick

    ReplyDelete
  61. Mick is gone next unless he wins the final challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  62. It's Brett, Mick and Natalie in the final three.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I believe it is the final three. Russell is being a huge jerk to Mick and Natalie. It would be something to get to the final tribal council and they could vote him off.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I really hope that Karma is hanging around tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  65. i loved russell throughout this game, but tonight, he's making me ill. doesn't he realize there are other people in this game, going to the end. what makes you think that the others might, for spite, not vote for one of the other two. he is putting the cart before the horse and he's actually acting like the tail end of the horse right about now!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I am really, really sick of Russell. I half way hope he loses just so he is taken down a notch or six. Nah, he will turn it around.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Go Russell!

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  68. Russell can be arrogant with the cameramen, and I do believe he was trying to psyche out both his teammates while also soundlng like he was helping them out.

But if he blows it and that arrogance spills out at TC it's going to cost him. SO CLOSE... watch out R.

    ReplyDelete
  69. This is an opening statement?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Go Natalie!!! So glad you are in the final 3!! (and I have you in the pool)

Sue (trying to hold out and watch the show when it is on here)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Look at Shambo grinning like that. I am so glad I'm not on a desert island with her. I know she really means well, but it just would rub me wrong utlitmately I think.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Don't see Mick winning at all. But Russell's big mouth may give it to Natalie.

    ReplyDelete
  73. I did like Jaison....

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  74. what they do for a living should have no bearing on how they played the game.

    stupid question jaison

    ReplyDelete
  75. Theckless? Jackie....help me out??

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  76. my wish would be for Natalie...she has been a tough cookie...

    ReplyDelete
  77. day-um shambo

    ReplyDelete
  78. Shambo says Mick is feckless and Natalie is coat-tails

    ReplyDelete
  79. Jaison calls them all out on their professions and how much money they have.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Brett just asks Mick what he would do on a bro date with him.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Jaison just stabbed all of them in the back. Shambo is dishing it out too. Boy, this jury is brutal!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Huh? Don't know what you mean by "theckless." If on the show, I'm delayed here

    ReplyDelete
  83. Russell says that he is one hundred percent different outside of this game. He describes himself with honor, integrity, and loyalty in real life.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I think Russell is blowing smoke about "good" qualities.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Tessa...Bro date...How funny was that???

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  86. I looked up feckless. It says lack of purpose or vitality, feeble or ineffective. That is what Shambo sayed about Mick.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Jackie,
Shambo called someone theckless. I need Webster.com ;-)

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  88. Mick -25%
    Natalie -30%
    Russell-55%

Dave wanted to know what they thought their chances of winning was.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I'm not catching all of the questions but I am trying.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Just checked Webster.com.....No theckless ;-)

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  91. The two should say THEY played Russell! The were what he wanted them to be, and let him do the dirt work. They played him as much as he played anyone else.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Ahhhh feckless.....need to adjust the ears ;-)

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  93. isn't this game

    OUTWIT

    OUTLAST

    OUTPLAY

this is russell all the way. why should he have to justify behavior. it's a game - he played it better than anyone i can remember in survivor history. (JMO)

    ReplyDelete
  94. Eric just makes a statement.

Mick doesn't do anything for his team. Russell this hurts me you played a nonethical game. We are nothing alike. How did you get there? Natalie people will call you weak but are they any less than Russell game play. Natalie you may be least deserving but you have my vote.

    ReplyDelete
  95. (Hmmm. My "y" isn't working....)

    ReplyDelete
  96. Russell's not lookin' so cocky now, is he? Eric made great points.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Tessa said... I looked up feckless. It says lack of purpose or vitality, feeble or ineffective. That is what Shambo sayed about Mick.

I don't think anyone who could get through medical school and become a doctor could be any of those things.

I think that these jury questions were the best ever. I loved the look on Jeff's face a few times.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Better late than never. Hello all!

At least I made it home in time for the FTC. Thank you football! :)

    ReplyDelete
  99. I vote Russell....

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  100. Russell looks worried.

I give Natalie some credit, I know she played her hardest, but if she wins.. what does that mean about outwit, outlast, outplay?

    ReplyDelete
  101. Russell was a scrapper, but brilliant.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Russell was a scrapper, but brilliant.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Come on Russell...

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  104. Natalie looks totally different...

    ReplyDelete
  105. Are you kidding me???

    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  106. BOO HISSS
    SSW

    ReplyDelete
  107. Russlel looked like a serial killer....

    I can't believe she won.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Why does Natalie have a tumor on the top of her head?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Hey, Monty. WOW! Russell did get the Karma, didn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  110. Outwit

    Outlast

    Outplay

That is the theme of the show. And maybe even the premise. However, unless there is a blood oath taken, I am under the impression that you (on the jury) can vote for anyone you want, for any reason you want.

    ReplyDelete
  111. What was that jury thinking?

    ReplyDelete
  112. All that deviousness for NOTHING, Russell. KARMA was just waiting for you.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, karma IS a bitch!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Evil Russell has tears in his eyes. I may have missed a hug or two, but it looked like the only person to look at him, let alone hug him, was Good Russell.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Sydeney, I was thinking he looked like a pimp!

    ReplyDelete
  116. I don't like the outcome. Can't say Russell didn't deserve to lose based on his attitude but seriously he deserved the win in my book.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Russell wouldn't have made it this far if not for a lot of other people.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Bet Russell was thinking he should have voted Natalie out.

    ReplyDelete
  119. can't say i am happy about the outcome :-(

    ReplyDelete
  120. Didn't deserve it... My husband says that arrogance always kills you in the end. But look at Richard Hatch... and there have been several of the not so nice who have pissed off several jury members but when it came to the vote they mostly were able to look past it and vote for the person who played the best, even if they were an asshole.

I need to dress Russ better.. and Shambo...

    ReplyDelete
  121. He did play the best game, but he was also the biggest a$$ in the game.

    ReplyDelete
  122. What is that all about Russell? Trying to take the mantle from her. He so doesn't believe that she should have won.. he's really stealing her limelight at the moment. Interesting....

    ReplyDelete
  123. Russell just offered Natalie ten thousand dollars if Natalie will have Jeff announce Russell as the sole survivor.

    ReplyDelete
  124. russell cracks me up

    ReplyDelete
  125. Natalie will not be remembered, Russell will for this season.

    ReplyDelete
  126. oh get over yourself, jaison. you went the gammet with russell and are now only crying the blues because you got voted out. hypocrite

    ReplyDelete
  127. I think Natalie has had time to beef up her strategy. I think she was smarty enough to see the strong girls went, and I do think she was smart enough to be the person who Russ aligned with and not piss him off as the others did. As he aligned with everyone, all those girls and later all the other guys...

But I don't think she did more strategic stuff than that like she's saying now.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Russell isn't a good loser, is he?

    ReplyDelete
  129. Russell had socks in his pocket for Jaison to replace the ones he burnt but Jaison dissed Russell and Russell threw them in the fire on stage. Too funny.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Muahahahahaha............
Jaison just more or less called all you Russell fans immoral idiots! Ouch!!

    ReplyDelete
  131. Talk about sore losers ---- JAISON

    ReplyDelete
  132. Seriously, how can Jaison align himself with Russell for 37 days and then claim moral superiority. They may hate Russell and Russell is a lovable a$$, but Jaison is a self-righteous hypocrite.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Actually, Jaison had a point. The social aspect IS part of the game, as it is in life, and that's what Russell screwed up.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Not that I've seen it yet (delayed here), but I think Russell played a very good game only really ruining it with his ego. But why would I care what Jaison thinks of my choice? I liked him until he started whining about the third week or so.

    ReplyDelete
  135. And seriously, how can Natalie claim not to own all of Russell's misdeeds? The entire Foa Foa hid behind him and now claim he's unworthy? They could have bounced him anytime they wanted, but they all wanted to ride with him to the Final 3. Shame on all of them.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Go back to your million $ bank account and quit crying about it Russ. You lost. You weren't as smart as you thought you were. YOU picked who to take with you. You have to live with that now.

    KARMA is a Bitch!

    ReplyDelete
  137. Hi Silk,

Russell took the bullets. But if he wasn't out there fighting like that, does anyone really think the Foa Foa 4 would have survived? Remember the playing of the idol. The intimidation of John into jumping sides. Russell was (is?) a self-righteous arrogant (but lovable) a$$, but he kind of had to be to get the Foa Foa 4 to the end.

    ReplyDelete
  138. but jaison did not care what immoral thing russell did until in involved blindsiding jaison.
    these people are all hypocrites
    russell was visibly upset
    he does deserve the title
he was one of if not the best player
    and I don't like him!

    ReplyDelete
  139. I think we will be seeing a lot more of Russell in the next round of Survivor All-Stars. Wonder how long he will last in that group? Since the show was filmed right after this one finished (and its being edited right now) The others will not know who he is and how he manipulates...

And congrats to Natalie! And to show I know how to be a winner, I have brought one of my famous homemade cherry cheesecakes to pass around and share with all you that have stuck around.

    Sue

    ReplyDelete
  140. Russell still hasn't absorbed that you can't stab people in the back, and then expect them to turn around and shake your hand. He could have accomplished the same things without being such a snake about it.

The fact that he crowed about every oust makes it worse.

    ReplyDelete
  141. This is a game... in which the goal is to Outwit, Outlast and Outplay everyone else (not treat people nice and be their friend). Hands down, Russell should have won this season with who was up there with him. Russell is one of the best game players in the history of Survivor... I think they should allow America to vote in the end.. enough of these bitter sore losers because they got Outwitted, Outlasted and Outplayed.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Joe in NY - Foa Foa wouldn't have been so bad off if Russell hadn't set out to break their spirit from week 1. Remember all the sabotage of his own tribe?

    ReplyDelete
  143. Well Jackie, I guess our Mick didn't get any votes from the jury. Not surprising, but Russell really deserved this season.

    Bitter Jury!

    ReplyDelete
  144. True, Silk. Russell did undermine his own tribe a bit. But they mostly suffered from a lack of leadership (IMHO). Mick did nothing.

    ReplyDelete
  145. If life worked the way it should, Good Russel would have made it through and won. I really think he would never have been voted off.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Hi All... First time here.

Wow... Heaven bound! whew! That's awesome. And his wife and his back and forth: You're dead, no I'm alive is hysterical

    ReplyDelete
  147. Russell was anything BUT lovable. Please!

    ReplyDelete
  148. Hey, Joe in NY, you never replied to my comment on your last blogmance post. Harumph. I'm insulted.

How would you like to meet for lunch some fine Saturday in Binghamton?

    ReplyDelete
  149. I had Russell in the pool, but by the time the jury voted I wanted him gone almost as much as the first of the game.

Silk, I agree, you don't stab people in the back and then expect them to kiss your fat hiney.

He did out-play, but I think him bragging about his million dollar bank account did him in. If he hadn't bragged about that then they might have given it to him, but he made it too hard to accept, best game playing aside.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Russell offered ten thousand, not 100,000. Jeff!

    ReplyDelete
  151. Well, so much for the integrity R said he holds in real life. He doesn't regret anything he said about the girls. Guess Nat wasn't so dumb after all.

    ReplyDelete
  152. Hey, Meb, I was wondering where you were tonight. That back and forth with his wife was hysterical.

    ReplyDelete

I'm sorry, Silk. I think I missed your last comment. I've been blogmance-less for a long time
now! No insult intended. Binghamton, hm? Can we wait for spring?

    ReplyDelete
  154. well, just because Russell had 4 dumb girls (his words) in his alliance doesn't mean that he was calling all girls dumb. And he honestly seemed to like and respect Natalie later.

    ReplyDelete
  155. Yum, thanks for the Cherry Cheesecake, SueGee!

Russell still tickles me... I don't care what Jaison says.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Russell still said that he wanted Nat in final three cause nobody would vote for her. He was so wrong.

    ReplyDelete

    Margo & her Mom

  158. they mostly voted for her because they hate Russell. Not the same thing as believing she played better. Since she hid behind Russell and let him make the big moves, isn't she just Russell light? She can't pretend that she doesn't own Russell's misbehavior.

  159. see, Russell is lovable! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  160. Russell wins the sprint player of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Top three were Brett, Shambo and Russell. Jeff points out that Natalie din't even break top three. Shambo came in second.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Have to say, Russell deserved the Player of the Season and the 100 thou.

    ReplyDelete
  163. I think it would have served him right if he had lost to "another dumb woman".

    ReplyDelete
  164. Russell reminds of a Charles Manson like person with his control of the others

    ReplyDelete
  165. I bet Russell would trade that $100,000 for the title of sole survivor...

    ReplyDelete
  166. Shambo obviously got a pity vote. Lovable is the last word that comes to mind for Russell.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I enjoyed Russell (not that we could EVER be friends) this season. But I do find his intensity at the reunion show to be a little disconcerting. I mean "in the game" is one thing, but the game's over dude, time to lighten up...

  168. Let's make it a party! There are several in this "family" in NY or PA. Joe's in Rochester. I'm near Kingston. Binghamton is (sorta) central to upper NY and Eastern PA. Let's do lunch, sometime after Easter. Mid-April, maybe. Is it a date?

  169. Feb 11th Survivor allstars - Heroes vs Villains

    ReplyDelete
  170. You can bet Russell will be there and Hatch won't. Judge wouldn't let him.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Heros vs. Villians -- now that should be interesting. Villians will have Russell and Coach. Boy, now seeing those two go head to head will be interesting.

Good show. See you guys New Years Eve here at Jackie's. Bring chocolate.

  172. Geez...they could have given us a couple of names. I'm dying to know who's in it. I would LOVE to see James come back. And Rupert. Rob without Amber. Richard Hatch is out of jail! LOL. Russell, of course. No Johnny Fairplay, please...he quit last time.

  173. Anyone who would like to get together in the spring, click on my name, go to the blog on that profile, and leave a comment with your location and contact info, and LET'S HAVE A PARTY!

Joe, I'll bring cookies. You bring the pool.

  174. Sounds like it could be fun, Silk. Nice drive in the spring!

I'm DYING to know who's in the new cast...er, old cast?

    ReplyDelete
  175. They've already wrapped the All-Stars season. Hatch was sent back to prison while they shot it.

    ReplyDelete
  176. Becky,

I think Russell vs. Coach is no contest. Coach was a goofball, Russell is a sleazeball! LOL Not to mention Russell has seen Coach but Coach hasn't seen Russell...

    ReplyDelete
  177. Yeah, I seem to recall reading somewhere that Hatch couldn't be on the show because they wouldn't let him leave the state.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Bet the new cast has seen this finale.

    ReplyDelete
  179. am i the only one who couldn't stand russell? i am SO GLAD he lost!

    ReplyDelete
  180. Hatch was sent back to prison for parole violation. He was given permission to do an interview and then did several. He was just recently released.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Anon 11:04...they've already filmed Heroes vs. Villains. So none of them know about Russell.

I think it would be more interesting if they mixed the heroes and villains up. Having a team of "heroes" and a team of "villains" will have very odd dynamics. And where would someone like Parvati go?

I'm so excited. I need some spoilers. Has anyone heard anything!?!?

  182. I'm DYING to know who's in the new cast...er, old cast?
    ******************

Head over to Jokers, True Dork Times, FORT... The cast has been spoiled for a long while now.

Some of my favs are back so I'm looking forward to S20.

    No, not Coach... yuck!

  183. This was in my opinion, the best season of Survivor ever mostly due to Russell. Love him or hate him he brought new life to the show.

I found the finale and the reveal of who won to be disappointing. Natalie is a nice young woman. I have nothing against her but Russell was the star of this season.

I believe the jury got the vote wrong and it will be the talk around the water cooler tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  184. I can not believe they would ask Johnnie Fairplay back since he basically quit last time he was back.

  185. Russ was the top player, but Natalie made him believe her and keep her when he easily could have voted her out at any time. In fact, in one of the last go rounds, he was deciding between Mick and Jaison, and said he would keep Natalie. For whatever reason, she played him enough to not let him think she was a threat. Outwitted him. Was it unintentional on her part or did she understand what she was doing? That will be the debate. Also, what Russ lacked as game player was heart, he only thought game and Jeff has said from the first season that Survivor is a political game that mixes strength with people skills.

The jury was bent on hurting Russ, I think, so it seems to me that taking Shambo is about the only person he could have won against. I was surprised when he voted her out last week.

  186. I agree 100% with Sizzie. You nailed it, Girl.

    ReplyDelete
  187. RU KIDDING, what is wrong with people today, how can so many people like ruthless Russel? Since when does outwit, outlast, outplay mean, be an asshole? Can't stand Russel!!!!!!!!!! He should have never made it that far!

    ReplyDelete
  188. If Russell is on the All-Stars, I don't expect that he will make it to the end there because all those players won't be as wimpy as these guys were.

    ReplyDelete
  189. Where is Joy N tonight???

    ReplyDelete
  190. Anon 11:31, there is nothing wrong with people thinking Russell is deserving of the win over Mick and Natalie, even though he is an Ass.
