Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Blog Party Post - 2/18 Episode

The show is about to start here on the East Coast. This entry will be updated with major events as they air. My full review of the episode will be posted late tonight over on TV Squad. But the real fun is to be had hanging out in the comments section of this post! Come one, come all! Share your thoughts on the show as it airs! Just remember that minors can't drink alcohol. ;-)

Rob,. the only one really working on his tribe, has passed out. Medics have arrived, into commercial. He's staying in the game.

Eep. Villains won the combined Immunity/Reward challenge -- tarp, nails. James and Rupert are probably going to push for Stephenie to go. Into commercial.

Stephenie was voted off.

  4. I've been on my own "Exile Island", so to speak. hehe
Actually, I live somewhere that has no internet. I am dog-sitting tonight so I am baskingin the luxury of heat, cable TV and internet. :)

  5. Hi Petals.

A party isn't a party until its been crashed. :)

  6. Rob is cool. People tried to hate him, but I have to give credit where it is due: he did well in all of his seasons, he is tight with his family, loves his wife & baby, and has a "real" job outside Survivor. Go Rob!

  8. Awww, I hate to see that for Rob!

  9. Hope it is only dehydration...

  10. Hey! Jackie, I am legal and I brought a bucket of Margaritas.

Hey, Petals, long time, no see. What is Rob's job?

He certainly is in with with a bunch of idiots. Yeah, let's lay out in the sun, flirt and worry about tomorrow later.

  11. Hope Rob is okay. He doesn't look good.

Guess he is feeling better. Good!

  12. did he fall out of the tree? I looked away?

  13. Everybody has a bit of crybabyitis every once in awhile, Rob.

    ReplyDelete
  14. He just fainted as he walked.

    ReplyDelete
  15. What is it with Parvati and the busted lips? That looked brutal.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Heros sure know how to blow a good need.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I meant blow a good lead.

  18. Pavarti got hit in the face with the block.

  19. ty Joy...hope he can pull it together completely-- I want him to stick around for awhile...

  20. Monty, I think the box hit her when she and Russell were rolling it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. They're sure making it look like Stephenie is going out tonight, don't they?

    ReplyDelete
  22. James was right there. They decided to listen to one voice as their stategy and then totally abandoned it. I think Rupert might get his wish tonight. Who knows? :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. OK... finall y got here... hey Petals...long time and all that stuff... Becky... I'm here,,, pass one of those namesakes over...

I'm catching up so I don't know what happened... back as soon as I see...

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yea, Becky it did. She also got a busted lip on Fans V Favs. She's just prone to them I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  25. For being sick, Rob was working his butt off on that comp. Go Rob!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Can we all agree right now to vote for Boston Rob for Fan Favourite when the time comes. This guy is the straw that stirs the Villain's dirnk. Without him they are NOTHING.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Now James is putting a target on his back.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Go Russell, Chicken Man!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Now Russell wants to zero in on Rob because of his "personality". I'm not liking Russell again.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Shhhhh James! Good thing he has some muscles or he would be toast.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I'm down with that, Brent McKee! Rob worked his tail off in that challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Tom is getting on my nerves too. I thought James had a good point and they're not listening.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I really like Stephanie in her seasons...what went wrong?

    ReplyDelete
  34. I thought that James had a good point. Tom is getting on my nerves too -- as is Stephenie.

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is going to be a long tribal. There's still 12 minutes left.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Woah, slam from Cierie to Amanda there.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I am afraid Amanda is going home.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Just got home in time for the end LOL. Hope everyone had fun tonight!

  39. Wow! I really thought Candice and Ciere would vote out Amanda.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I had a feeling it was gonna be Steph.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I tuned in late, just in time to see all the "strategizing" and bickering. I fear the heroes aren't looking too much like heroes at this point--they may do themselves in. That's disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Well, I didn't like seeing that out of James, but he was right about that Challenge. He just didn't say it with much flare there at the TC. His parting shot was fair though, because Stephenie brought it on herself with her parting shot at him.

    Great drama this season. :)

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think Colby, Steph, Cirie and Tom are the only ones to vote for Amanda.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Gotta run. See you all Sunday night. :)

    ReplyDelete
  45. I am off for a while too.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Well, sneaky little Cirie! Steph said she would be next for sure. Hope Cirie doesn't regret this vote down the line.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I might as well accept the fact that I can't watch and blog too. It took me this long to catch up.

James went a little overboard I thought. He needs to settle down. Even the previews looks like he's losing it again.

Oh well... next week is another episode... we shall see.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Hey, Petals!! Good to hear from you! You can crash this party any time you want! Did you bring anything yummy? I don't want to read too far ahead, but from what I do see, there's not much here in the way of munchies.

I have a tray of cheese & crackers, and another of veggies left over from the PTA meeting. I'll leave them here for everyone to enjoy while I wait for the show. Just be careful about getting dip in the pool.

I'm just doing a quick check in while I'm waiting for the show to start for the Westies.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Meb, while I think that James had a good point, I agree that he seemed to go overboard with his ranting. Poor Steph.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Hey everyone, sorry I'm late.

    ReplyDelete
  51. James is still my man crush!

I mean, seriously, they lost both challenges the same way: big lead and then mass chaos in the puzzle portion. The "villains" actually display better team work in challenges. And, interestingly, the "heroes" seem to have better teamwork around the camp. Go figure...

Fortunately or unfortunately, I saw a spoiler (won't mention it) but it had the 1st 2 elminations correct. Kind of annoys me, I shouldn't have looked!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Yahoo, it's finally on!!

Wow! What a difference between how the two tribes work together getting their camps together.

    ReplyDelete
  53. If Rob was off the Villans would they still be able to do puzzles?

No one on the Heros tribe can seem to do puzzles.

I think the Villians need to step up and help Rob around camp - cause they are gonna kill him. He can not possibly do all the work himself. I believe his job before reality programs was construction - so I would listen to him about building a shelter. I don't know what his job is now.

Sorry we missed the party - we were out to dinner with a bunch of friends and you know when a bunch of ladies get together - there is A LOT of talkin to do.

  54. What's with Boston Rob just laying there with none of the crew going for help? I'm sure there must have been more than one camera crew there. When he's down and telling Jeri to get help, it was obvious he was in bad shape.

That pissed me off! He talks tough and is just a bit abrasive, but I still like him. To see him just lay there like that was so sad. When he was finally getting help, and Jeff was looking at him, it looked like Jeff was about to cry.

    ReplyDelete
  55. As much as I like James, he's beginning to bug me. During tribal council, Jeff just sits there looking back & forth at them all. It's kinda funny.

If James isn't careful, he's going to find himself being voted for.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Since I'm sitting here talking to myself, why stop now??

I agree James was right when he was saying "One voice". It was his delivery that needed to be tamed down. He had a good point, but that point was a bit too sharp. If the vote had gone the other way, and Amanda had left instead of Steph, I think James would be in big trouble at the next tribal.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The entire villains team just fades into the woodwork- Rob IS the team. I really only remember his thick Boston accent (slightly thinner now) and his comical blue collar persona from past seasons. I like him more now and hope he makes it to the merge, if there is one, so I can root for him without supporting the nasty villains. Rob really isn't a villain, he's just a nice hard working scrappy guy. Russell is scrappy, too, but he's nasty, vindictive scrappy.

Yes, James needs to put a lid on it. However, it appears he is voicing frustration, perhaps a bit too stridently, but not superiority as Tom appears to be doing. Tom's uppity behavior may very well cost him, especially since he's now in the minority of his tribe. I'm also sure they have not forgotten that he's won before, too.

Well Laurie, it seems our pool boy Colby may have chosen the wrong alliance. Time will tell. Strategically I will say voting Steph out was the best move. Tom would have stuck with her til the end.

  60. Hi All

I am not clear on a couple of things.

    Is the an exile island?
    any hidden immunity idols?

All of a sudden rupert isn't such
    a nice guy.

  61. I was happy to see that Boston Rob didn't have to leave the game. As I said last week I am cheering for him and also Russell.
Brent McKee I am with you all the way on voting for Boston Rob as the fan favorite.
I nearly cracked up watching Russell hunt with the spear. Although he got the chicken, he looked like a cartoon character during the hunt!
I think James better practice what he preaches and Shut Up. I like James but he is literally digging his own grave and if I remember correctly he used to be a grave digger.
I actually find Tom to be a pompous jerk even if he is with the heroes. If I were on the heroes team he would have a big target on his back the next time someone needed to be voted off at Tribal.
I am enjoying JT and Cirie alot. Hope they both do well and make it through the merge.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I don't like Ruppet this season. He should have been voted off he bring's nothing to the table. I know he has a broken toe but if he can't play he should go.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I rather watch the Villians Camp!
    Hero's look like a bunch of Zero's.
Despite Cirie's speech about having been back-stabbed by Amanda I knew she would not vote out Amanda.
I believe it'll comeback to bite them. Well since people already know who made it to the top 5 it's obvious.

Hey I was in Texas back in Dec. they really liked Russell.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I, for one, am not reading the spoilers. This is a fun season and I want to see it play out. Some of us don't want to know who made it to the top five from hints or outright.

  65. I am disappointed in Rupert this season too. Seems a little on the ornery side and not as willing to pull his own weight.

I've always liked Rob and do even more so this time around. Jerri actually has a heart!

Tom and James are surprising me, acting kind of grouchy. They've moved down a notch or two on my faves list. But then again, the season is still new.

Didn't see much of my girl Sandra last night.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Jeri and Coach need to get a room......and isn't it kinda scarey how they look like brother and sister......kinda sorta....:)Double yuck!!!!!

  67. My computer froze and is in the shop... may never come back so I missed live blogging with you all.

Brent, I'm in for awarding Boston Rob. LOVE him.

Poor Stephanie! And what was with Rob... He was unconscious and then truly out of it. How could it have been "nothing" ...but a little flu?

Lynn1 I cracked up too when I saw compact Russell running with that spear.

I agree wtih the person who said James would have been gone if not for the big muscles. Both James and Rupert were not the kittens I remember. Goes to show, we ALL have many sides.I am loving this season... so great to see so many of the players we know. It was a great idea for the 20th season.
