Thanks to Msrch Madness, we're on Wednesday this week. This post will be updated with the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Late tonight, my full review will be posted on TV Squad. But, until then, the real fun is in the comments area right here -- feel free to jump in with your thoughts on the show, everyone is welcome! Survivors ready?
The castaways are fighting for individual immunity within their tribes. Both tribes will go to Tribal Council. Candice won for the Heroes. Rob wins for the Villains. Rob won the showdown - Villains get hot dogs, soft drinks, and sit in on the Heroes Tribal Council.
Woohoo, Russell did it! He schemed, gave the idol to Parvati and TYSON got voted out!
Colby beat out James! James is going home.

thank god its on Wednesday! I have class on Thursday
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie, hi everyone. :)
ReplyDeleteRussell will end up winning that battle. Rob is good at the contests, but he was never the best strategist...(IMHO)
ReplyDeleteHi Monty!
ReplyDeleteSure, a night I can make it and no one else can. LOL
Hey, everybody.
ReplyDeleteMonty, love your Happy Dance Beagle! Since I have two Beagle girls, they are tops in my book. Hey, Joe, how is your dog?
ReplyDeleteHi Joe, I agree about the Russell. Hi Becky!
ReplyDeleteoops. I meant the Russell/Rob battle.
ReplyDeleteI'm so curious to know how tonight pans out. I'm a Russell fan and have been.
ReplyDeleteI do hope that James goes home tonight.
Hehe, did Jeff just put a target on Tyson?
ReplyDeleteBecky, I pulled my Happy Dance out of retirement for DWTS. :)
ReplyDeleteI swear, Courtney is a skeleton with skin. I don't know how she does this.
ReplyDeleteGo, ROB!
ReplyDeleteMonty, I saw that on the blog last night.
ReplyDeletegreat battle in all 3 contests. These guys/gals are good, and they don't quit...well, except for Sandra. LOL. What was she doing?
ReplyDeleteThere's a ton of time left. A lot of strategizing tonight. Goodie!
ReplyDeleteMy Danielle, in the pool, is invisible this season. No face time at all, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteRussell is a freaking genius!!!!
ReplyDeleteNow Coach, Parv, Danielle and Russell will have the run of the Villians.
ReplyDeleteGosh, that Colby is cute!
ReplyDeleteJust dropping in to say hello to the early watchers! Hope everyone is enjoying the show and spring!
ReplyDeleteHi Laurie, I love spring but... my allergies don't. :(
ReplyDeleteI know James has been an ass this season, but I've got to say: I still like the guy. I also think that if they vote him off, they are done. I like Amanda and Colby, but they don't have the passion that James has. JT might, but he's also a bit of a snake and Rupert, well he may be past his prime in this game. On the other tribe, they look solid with Rob and Russell leading the way and they all seem to have passion.
ReplyDeleteHi all, almost forgot it was on tonight.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see just who out thinks over on the villains side.
This is nail biting tonight!
ReplyDeleteJoe, I agree with you about both tribes.
ReplyDeleteIdol use cliffhanger into commercial ...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Becky! I'm used to everyone disagreeing with me. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's with Sandra? She's awfully gangsta for someone who basically quit on the immunity challenge. LOL.
If Tyson flipped to vote Parv, then that should be two votes Russell, three Tyson, and four Parvati. If Parv plays the idol, Tyson is gone. Goodie!
ReplyDeleteyou wanna bet Parvati plays it and dumb Tyson switched his vote and ends up backdooring himself...
ReplyDeleteheh-heh, Monty, we think alike.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Sandra gansta on Exile Island.
ReplyDeleteThat was AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Coach respects it, LOL!
ReplyDeleteAnd Coach respects it, LOL!
ReplyDeleteDid you see Tyson? He looked sick!!!
ReplyDeletePOSSIBLY THE BEST TRIBAL EVER...
ReplyDeleteDid you see Rob's face? OMG OMG OMG Welcome to the Big Leagues, Rob.
ReplyDeleteROFLMAO!!!! Rob thinks there's a rat on his own team. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI just can't stop laughing...what an awesome tribal...
ReplyDeleteI know I'm late - but it is still early here on the left coast! I see already my pool player has "gone down the drain" LOL Never was much of a fan!!
ReplyDeleteSue
Wonder if Courtney thinks the calories fall out if she eats with her mouth open.
ReplyDeleteJames should have gone home last week.
ReplyDeleteCome on Russell, find another II. :)
ReplyDeleteCatch up with your guys Sunday night. Jackie, thanks for leaving the door open for us.
ReplyDeleteWell I am out of the pool. Guess I will have to find someone to cheer for now.
ReplyDeleteI still can't get over how awesome the tribal was...I don't think it is possible to top that! And what cojones you have to have to play the idol the way Russell did. If he failed, he goes home not Parvati.
ReplyDeleteI still wish Rob and Russell would get together. They could run the table on this game. The only thing that can stop the villains would be an internecine war between Rob and Russell.
Well, have a great week, catch you guys next time I'm free.
Rob is trying to convince those left that Russell needs to go because he gave his idol to Parvati, thus making him a loose cannon if he doesn't care about going home. Russell already knew how the voting was going to go. He convinced Tyson to change his vote simply by telling him that he (Russell) was going to vote out Parvati. Tyson hates Parvati, therefore he decided to switch his vote to P. Russell just pulled the biggest coup of Survivor history and Rob knows it. He's got to know Russell has some allegiance from others, Rob just doesn't know who.
ReplyDeleteWhat a play... GO RUSSELL.
Meb, are you saying that Russell lied?
ReplyDeleteI hope Russell finds all the idols!
ReplyDeleteI watched it and I still don't see how that happened. Maybe it's because I was distracted with the owl cam!
ReplyDeleteThat was awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing shows that those who don't like Russell should let Rob do their thinking for them. Rob has played Poker and learned from a number of pros. His second plan was a Poker player's solution - get everything into the pot knowing that you've got the winning hand. If it was between Tyson and Russell, Rob's allies vote for Russell. But Tyson had to think for himself and look what it got him.
ReplyDeleteLike him or not Russell is a
ReplyDeletegenius.
I think the guys on the villans team better worry about thw girls
ganging up on them.
Still would like Rob to win it all,
but I think Russell may out play
him
Estelle
Although I don't get a chance to comment much anymore, I am loving this Heroes vs Villians season.
ReplyDeleteI agree with most of you that last night's tribal was exciting.
The look on Rob's face was pure shock.
I hope Rob and Russ can stay around for a while longer. They are so much fun to watch.
I am not sure that getting rid of James was the best move for the Heroes. Yeah he is injured but James injured is still better than Rupert healthy or Colby's lame attitude.
**Pool Update**
ReplyDeleteIn one of the stupidest moves I have seen in Tribal history Tyson basically votes himself out. IDIOT

ReplyDeleteGO RUSSELL!!
Katie in Chi
The last thing that Tyson says as they show the votes, is that he's still awesome. No, he's not. Meb's right, he is an idiot. Russell used him to change Rob's perfect play and stupid Tyson fell for it. Russell said earlier that he didn't think anyone would think of the brilliant play of dividing the votes 3-3-3 and Rob did. Russell can read (and control) idiots well, which is why he chose Tyson. I fear Rob is in big trouble unless he wins more comps. Russell can't control Rob so he wants him gone. Even moreso now. Stupid Tyson! Russell led him gleefully to the edge and Tyson jumped. The only thing Tyson's awesome at, is being a dumb jerk!
ReplyDeleteJames did himself in, too, with that race he lost.
I still think, tho, that Russell will bury himself before the sesaon is over. Not everyone that's left are idiots and his in-your-face attitude won't keep working with this crowd.
I would have liked to seen it go to a three-way tie. Then, after the second vote, when they all voted for Russell, he would play the idol.
ReplyDeleteThat would have been a good tribal!
I read a People interview and also one from RTVW with Tyson. He says that he did tell Russell, Danielle and Parvati about the split vote and told Russ to use the HI to save himself. What a dork! He gave Russell the backdoor plot on a silver platter!
ReplyDeleteHe also said about Russell: "Russ rubs people the wrong way."
"The name of the game is slitting people's throats with finesse and Russell doesn't have that. He could get to the end but there's a big difference between 1st and 2nd place. There isn't a single person more disliked by contestants than Russell."
I really liked Russell last season but not this one - Villains would not have won any challenges if not for Rob - I'm hoping Russell does not convince the team to vote out Rob - I want him around at the end! And re James,he used to be a fav of mine but this season, he seemed so mean, don't care for Ruben either - Go Villains!!!! I'm enjoying this season the most-I wish it was on for another hr.!
ReplyDeletePatti
Candice will go soon unless she can get immunity again. I don't expect it, but so far, she's still there. I don't especially care for her, but she's mine in the pool.
ReplyDeleteI really don't think Russell will get to the final three, but I still feel he's one of the best players I've seen, like him or not.
I don't like Russell much either, but I have to respect him as a player. I do agree with Tyson, tho, that he lacks finesse and he just doesn't get that he needs it to "play" Survivor. He would truly be the best player EVER if he threw a little of that in there. Just don't think he'll ever win without it.
