Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Blog Party Post 4/22 Episode

Yes, I'm back from San Antonio, although it would have been a ton of fun to watch the show with the group! It's starting in a minute or so. This post will be updated with the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Late tonight, my full review will be posted on TV Squad. But, until then, the real fun is in the comments area right here -- feel free to jump in with your thoughts on the show, everyone is welcome! Survivors ready?

The merge is on! Tribe name is YinYang. Danielle won immunity. Russell gave Parvati his idol, now she has two ... he doesn't know that.

Whoa ... Pavarti gave Sandra and Jerri the idols! The vote would have been Jerri, but JT sent home.

It would have been nice to watch it with a group. But we would have blown it like we did the DWTS Tuesday show.

  9. JT and Rupert are idiots. Especially JT.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Good for Sandra. At least she got Rupert to listen.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ya think, Rupert! lol Sandra spilled the whole load of beans.

  14. Hello Everyone! I know I have been missing for a few years, but I have the chance to hop on tonight and see Jackie still has a spot to return to.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Come on JT, listen to Rupert!

    ReplyDelete
  16. At this point, it's not that Russell is so smart as it is that JT is so dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Joy - Vincent is fine ... thye loved him there, said he was so loving and friendly!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Oh, JT... I think you just called it on yourself. JT might just go home tonight. Why else did the producers show us that?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Rupert has good people skills. I hope Russell's group goes for J.T. If Amanda does not flip and Sandra does, then the V's are in for a big surprise.

Pav was only acting mad. She is a great player. A lousy person, but like Russell, another lousy person, a good person.

    ReplyDelete
  20. AK,I missed the first 21 minutes, What happened? All I saw is that Rupert didn't trust Russell saying on his kids so that is a good sign right? Does Candace believe in Russell?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Jackie, how was your reunion with Vincent? You both had to be so happy to see each other.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Good, I thought that Amanda was an idiot too. Oh, I hope the Ying (good) win immunity.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Wow. Colby does he ever try?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Woooo hooo, Russ is off yes!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Welcome home everyone!! And watching Survivor with a group in a bar with BIG screen TV's is best of all!!

Can't wait to see this one tonight myself!!

  27. Anon, Colby and Rupert have big feet. It is much harder to do it with big feet.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Just realized what time it is! I'm fixing a meatloaf for dinner because it feels like winter in San Diego. Geesh!!

Glad to read the teams merged. Now to see if the "Women's Alliance" holds up. *giggle*

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes Becky, but at least Rupert actually tried. Colby quit quickly without even trying for very long.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sorry about entering as anon, it was me with those posts. Becky, I am sure you are right the big feet make a difference.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Oh man, Russ is handing over all the power!!!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Russell must be slipping He gave idol to Pavarti. Now she has 2 UGH

    ReplyDelete
  33. Could we be so lucky to have Pav play one of them, I don't think so.

    ReplyDelete
  34. He did what?? Why would she need two of them? Is this a token of love?

    ReplyDelete
  35. R does not know that P already had one...

    ReplyDelete
  36. Think only P and Danielle knew she had an idol.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh that's right. I was thinking she had the one he already gave her. Is she smirking?

    ReplyDelete
  38. ONG P gave both idols out Sandra and Jerri Guess JT is out of there!

    ReplyDelete
  39. ROFL OMG, the look on Russell's face was priceless! He's definitely in love with Parv now, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Delee, thanks for your running commentary. I'm loving it!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Darn, good play. Stupid J.T. At least the rest of them know that Russell & Pav are running the show.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Pavarti made a brilliant move keeping the villains together with that one while bringing Sandra into their alliance on a solid level.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Holey Moley! Parvati has a lot of 'splainin' to do. Amanda's in trouble too now.

    ReplyDelete
  44. It should be interesting hearing what Pav will have to say to Russ. Darn, I wish JT would not have been so willing to hand the idol over to someone on the other side.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I believe it when I see it when they get rid of Russ. Just how many times can he get his asset out of a jam?

    ReplyDelete
  46. If Sandra flips, then Russell is gone.

    ReplyDelete
  47. jt got what he deserved... -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  48. Not if Russ wins immunity. Let's hope that he does not or any of the villians for that matter.

    ReplyDelete
  49. That may be exactly why Parv gave it to Sandra, to convince her she's one of the V gang. I hope that action ends up biting Parv and Russ in the butt.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I agree Joy. Pav wants someone to do the dirty deed of getting Russ out.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Another awesome episode of Survivor Heroes vs. Villains. This is rapidly becoming my fav season of all time.

Good night folks. See you Sunday! :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. I do love that Parvati outsmarted Russell. He has to be a bit nervous now. He thought he had all the villains under his thumb. I hope he doesn't make it to the end, but now I see why he was so anxious to win his last season and claim himself the best ever. This season shows he's not as great at this as he thought he was. He doesn't have total control.

I really don't want to see Parvati win either tho.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Amanda's in big trouble with Parvati since she told her to make sure she used the HI. It obviously wasn't necessary.

Hope a hereo wins the immunity next week.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Parv certainly sent a message to the Heroes that she is in charge. I wonder if Amanda told her more than we saw in their edited talk. Parv seemed to know exactly what the Heroes were doing and that she was safe. It was a grandstand move, she 'saved' Sandra, Jerri, Danielle (by stepping down). And she managed to also look the victim by saying the Heroes didn't like her. She had a great game move, but it wasn't fun to watch. I even liked listening in to what Courtney whispered more than hearing Parv talk about being the Queen.

  55. PROJECT RUNWAY FINALE TONIGHT!!!! And live gossip show about it after... all looks dramatic and like a must see. Please come over to Jackie's sidebar discussion post to chat!!

    Jackie,
You should have looked me up! I live 2 hours from San Anton. I would have loved to meet ya

    ReplyDelete
  57. I agree 100% Joy. Russell knew at last season's finale what would be shown, and he was desperate. The only person I want to win less than him is Parvati. They are both so arrogant.

Sandra is somehow playing a good game. My pool boy Colby is still in it, however he seems to survive more by being the lesser of bigger targets than by any actions of his own. Oh, except for providing the silver platter upon which JT served up the heroes' immunity idol, instead of doing as Parvati did and saving her tribe. Honestly, JT deserved to go for such a hairbrained idea in the first place.

I find myself rooting for Amanda and Rupert. He saw through Russell, and, well, Amanda's practically earned a win based on the proportion of her life she's spent on Survivor!

Can't wait til next week. It's going to be hard to top this season with just regular ol' survivors next season.

  58. Honestly, why did Colby even agree to play this season? All season long, it appears his heart is not in it.

Sandra is playing brilliantly, imo. Yes, Parv is running the show, but Sandra is doing what she needs to do and I think she has a good chance of going to the finals.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Sandra's my girl in the pool and I'm honestly kinda rooting for her more and more. She sucks at comps and isn't too well liked but she manages to keep herself there week after week. She works her own kind of strategy and it worked for her before. You never know.

    NEWS ------------

    Just read this at People.com.

Russell Hantz was arrested in Louisiana for attacking someone at a street festival. He was accused of shoving an unidentified victim to the pavement while partying at the Festival International de Louisiane. Lafayette City Police say Hantz, 37, was arrested, but later released.

Want to bet someone told him he wasn't the "greatest survivor ever"? tehee!

    ReplyDelete
  60. It's looking more and more like Russell doesn't come off too well in the end. Like maybe he was Parv's b*tch lol. Remember when he gave her the second idol and she condescendingly hugged him and said "aw thanks hun," and after the vote when Russell whispered to her "you got some 'splaining to do"? She brushed him off with a giggle. She isn't worried at all.
And maybe his wife and kids he swore on aren't so thrilled with him either, especially if he can't at least make the excuse that he won the million.

You're right, Amy. Colby may be my pool boy but at the moment I'm none too proud.

  61. This from TMZ (along with a mug shot).

Another arrest! Former BB Matt McDonald (Gnat's big love) was arrested this weekend after allegedly unleashing a ferocious attack on his 8 weeks pregnant fiancee. His GF told police the two began arguing after he accused her of cheating on him and then things got violent.

According to the police report, the GF told cops he began strangling her and yelling, "I hope the baby dies and hope you have a f****n miscarriage." The GF says the next day. Matt accused her of pouring water on his plasma TV---and then proceeded to kick her in the collarbone, put her in a headlock and began punching her in the arms. During the confrontation, Matt called the victim's father on the phone and she screamed for help. Matt then screamed,"Shut the f**k up or I'll punch you in the face." She also claimed that Matt threatened to kill her father if he called the cops.

According to the police report, officers observed visible bruising on the GF's arms, neck and collarbone and proceeded to arrest McDonald.

It also reports McDonald told the officers that she attacked him and he was simply defending himself.

McDonald was charged with assault and battery--and assault and battery upon a pregnant person.

He's due back in court next month. The GF is still pregnant.

  62. Did anyone see or read the Spoilers List? I happened to look, and the results so far are 100% accurate.

I'm not going to say a word but the article is still up. I wish that I didn't see it but it did say that JT would be voted off last night and once again it was right on the money since the show began.

Apparently someone that works for the show leaked ALL of the results, week by week, including the winner....(even though the last show is live), they know the results and added that information for all to read.

I for one am not happy with the winner. That's all I'll say. By reading the article it really ruined the show for me and I want to warn you that if you should run into the article, which is easy to find, DO NOT READ IT! YOU WILL REGRET IT. I DID.

  63. txrednekgirl, do you live north, south, east or west of SA? I am a TX gal too.

    ReplyDelete
  64. THx Anon. BUmmer that you're bummed. Of course now I'm curious, but I am enjoying this season too much to go there and read it and that's saying alot.

    ReplyDelete
  65. ML Said: It's going to be hard to top this season with just regular ol' survivors next season.

    ITA....

And I agree with Amy and ML that Colby's heart was not in this since the first few days... didn't he say that to Tom? But when Tom left, he got a little fire. And then he just didn't even take a moment on that pole challenge. Although the other person went out with him in the same moment.....

Still wish ROb was on the jury.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Anon, you sucked me in and I read the boot list -

    Amazingly accurate thus far.

Not sure how I feel about the ending.... but, if final 3 is accurate, I think I may be good with it.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I am not a fan of Parvarti but I thought she was brillant to give Sandra and Jerri the immunity idols.
For me it was the best Tribal Council in Survivor history. Not only were the Heroes shocked but the look on Russel's face was priceless.
I have enjoyed this season so much. It has been fun to see some favorite pleyaers from previous seasons. It has been fun to see the power struggles and great strategic moves.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Russell says now the whole thing was a "misunderstanding" and he's considering taking legal action against the cops who busted him.

Russ says he owns the bar and some random "partygoer" told the cops he pushed a woman. The woman is a member of Hantz's party crew and says he never touched her.

Sounds like ol' Russ is still strategizing.

    ReplyDelete
  69. joy n...what are you talking about? What did Russell do?

  70. Anon, check my comments from 2:26pm yesterday. This all happened about 2am Friday morning.

  71. More on BB Matt McDonald - RTVW -

He was indicted today in Federal Court in Massachucetts for participating in a drug ring run by (none other than) Adam Jasinski! Matt was involved in the ring from April 2008 (when BB ended) until October 2009 (when Adam was arrested).

This is the third charge against Matt this month. First, he beat up his pregnant GF, then he (and his family) attempted to intimidate the GF into dropping the assault charges. Now the drug charges. He like Adam, faces up to 20 years in prison plus a $1 mil find. I never liked these two guys, but this is crazily stupid!
