1st - Immunity - Sandra and Russell quit for food. Colby out for donuts. Only Rupert and Parvati still in it as the others step down for PB&J. Rupert slips, Parvati wins immunity. Twist - clue to hidden idol for all.
1st Tribal Council - Candice voted out.
2nd Immunity - Russell wins!
Russell wished Danielle to the cornfield because he can't trust her with Parvati. It worked.

There's the Russell we knew last season. He's going to break up Parv and Danielle.

I'm surprised that Danielle got so emotional. Parvati must be very nervous about Russ now. If he so easily screwed D over, P knows he could do it to her too.

Did anyone notice JT wink at Russell after the vote? Then he smiled. While he's on the jury, he STILL thinks there's a womens alliance.

Sandra is good at this game. I have her in the pool and after tonight, I'm thinking she might actually have a shot at winning this.

Well, this was a good, good, good episode because I SO enjoyed watching Russell squirm a little. I have to say I thought telling Parvati and Danielle conflicting stories was going to really come back to bite him in the butt, and it would have if Danielle had been able to keep herself under control at TC. I'm just glad Rupert is still there.
ReplyDeleteParvati is really mad at Russell, and it appears the same for Russell at her, as the previews show him joining up with Rupert and Colby.
Even if he does get to the final three, and he probably will, there is no one on that jury who is going to vote for him, so he still can be the greatest strategist, what good is it if he can't win the money.
This is really a great Survivor.
If you haven't heard it yet, you should go to Ponderosa and listen to the "Dragons" new music video. It's not great but it's not so bad either. At least they're having some fun over there.
ReplyDeleteEven though the previews make it look like Rupert and Colby are joining forces with Russell, I can't imagine that actually being the case. Rupert despises Russell and wants him gone badly. I have to say I'm not a huge Parvati fan, but last night I wanted to reach through the tv and hug her when she didn't let Russell steamroller over her like he does everyone else. He was beside himself when she said she was going to talk to Danielle, LOL. He always assumes he can play people against each other and that they will never talk about it. How many times did he use his standard line last night of "if you don't listen to me, you're going home next". Someone said that Jerri is afraid of Russell and I agree 100%. As much as she wanted Rupert gone, she was too afraid not to put down Danielle's name like Russell told her to. She must be such a disappointment to Coach, LOL.
ReplyDeleteEvery week I think the tribals can't get any better, and every week they do! As everyone knows, Colby is my pool boy but totally uninspiring. He can't win. He didn't do anything. The only person he could beat would be Russell, because a rabid rat in camp would get more votes to win than Russell will.
ReplyDeleteCandice stayed true to form, doing exactly what she did in her season. No one really liked her or had her back. Danielle was Parvati's lackey. Only she will miss Danielle's 'closeness'.
The real deal is with Parv and Russell. They're having a lover's spat, and Russell just has to assert his supposed dominance (not) by taking Parv's minion away. It's comical, however, Russell does not realize just how badly he's been played by Parv. Despite the previews, aside from Jerri who seems to be intimidated by Russell, any one of them would get rid of Russell in a heartbeat. If it came down to Parv and Russell in the end, I actually think Parv would be the first Survivor to win twice.
I'm rooting for Sandra and Rupert; hopefully their history together will reassert itself. He played a good game again today, and it saved his butt.

I thoroughly enjoyed Russell looking like a fool when he was telling Sandra that he knew Rupert had idol cuz he knows exactly what it looks like in a pocket! What a hoot, meanwhile Sandra had it all along. I have to say that Sandra is growing on me. I think she is playing a great game.
ReplyDeleteIf you watch Ponderosa, it seems as though Russ doesn't have a shot at winning, but who will current jury members be voting for? Who do we think the final 3 might be? I can't imagine who Coach might vote for if it is an all villain final 3. He might vote for Russ.

ReplyDeleteFYI- Louis Stravato (tec of TAR) was cleared of any wrongdoing in that massive drug investigation. He is officially off desk duty and back on the streets. I was really glad to hear that.
