Matt is wearing the HOH key and just told Rachel that Ragan didn't drop, he fell.
Feeds came back at 11:38 PM ET - No confirmation, but it sounds like Matt got it.
11:25 PM - We've had bubbles (blocked feeds) for about 20 minutes. I assume it's all over and went as planned with Matt getting HOH. They're probably letting them unwind and feeding them. I will post the winner when I know for certain. But Matt due to the talk between Matt and Ragan would be my prediction.
11:00 PM ET - Both still up, but the Matt/Ragan deal is in action. Ragan should be dropping before long.
10:36 PM - Ragan plans to drop in 15 to 20 minutes. The deal is that Andrew (pawn) goes up with Kathy (target). No deal on POV replacement for Rachel and Brendon, just that they're not nominated now. Nominations need to remain the same or one will go up.
They sent the others inside and Matt and Ragan talk about who they'd put up. Matt wants Kathy out no matter what, maybe Brendon or Rachel with her. Ragan cares what Rachel thinks of him. Matt suggests Kathy and Andrew. It's Ragan talking about dropping.
Now they want to tell Andrew he's a pawn and make a deal with Rachel and Brendon that they'll be safe -- Kathy go home (because she's the third).

I'm not 100% sure why Rachel and Brendon were so upset. If they had half a brain they would have figured Matt out earlier. Didn't Matt go up to Rachel before noms and tell her that he was paranoid about being nominated? Then after POV he VOLUNTEERS to be a pawn...what happened to his paranoia about being on the block?
Even though we can see he's hinky because of all his crap in DR, they should have sensed something was off about him. I think he will crash and burn sooner rather than later. He's telling tooooo many lies, including many that are unnecessary. Sooner or later he's going to trip over his own lies.

ReplyDeleteIt might be their weight. If they are using the same size motor on all the boards it can probably only generate so much thrust. Brendon and Enzo are much heavier than the other 3 who are pretty small. Was Hayden's board moving a lot or a little? He's the other big guy.
Matt and Ragan are really being casual, talking, joking, not really paying attention. The other three are very focused. Andrew might do it.

I really hate that Matt won HOH. I just don't like the guy and the way he's playing the game. I'm fine with them lying to help themselves stay in the game, but when they lie just so they can mock people behind their backs, it bugs me. So the "Brains" big plan is to put Kathy on the block? We've had two goodbye messages from Rachel and they have both been mean and spiteful, and both have mentioned getting between "me and my man". That's one insecure girl, isn't she? Why be so mean? NY Post Slams Matt for lying about his wife's illness. They also slam Big Brother for allowing this to occur without any repercussions.
ReplyDeleteI think this bad PR for the show will end up hurting Matt as show will want him gone soon. They will probably give him a stern warning in DR or try to get others to turn on him next week to get him out..ie plant ideas in DR. Just my 2 cents, not sure how BB will handle this but when this season is over, Matt will take heat from this from the public and it might hurt his web design business too...hard to tell.

Matt reminds of the little guy in high school that hung out with all the big hunky football players. He thought he was a stud too and would make fun of others and then expect the football guys to have his back. At some point he will get cocky enough to admit it's a lie to someone and they will tell someone and they will tell someone and then he'll get his *ss voted out!

R&B make me sick
I didn't like Matt from the getgo when he bragged about how smart he was. Right on, Nana! I avoided jerks like that in school. Game or no game, he should be ashamed of himself for lying about the fake illness. It really might come back to haunt him. He seems to think that this lying is a good strategy, but he's not all that good at it. If he continues to go too far with it, all the hg's will eventually catch on and he'll be a goner.

I happened to watch one of the really old episodes from season 2 and it's really amazing how different it is now.
ReplyDeleteOne thing that was weird was the diary room. In past seasons they would talk normally to the camera in calm normal voices. Now they sort of yell and scream in a weird, energetic, acting kind of voice...interesting. It's also interesting to see how Will changed the game being the first player to play with a strategy when at first it was more or less a popularity contest/simple social experiment. Remember when America voted for the winner. The fashion is also hilarious. They also had less young hotties and more real folk.

I don't put a lot of stock in that gossip rag anyway. Whether Matt talked to his wife or not, I don't have a problem with his lie. He left his family for the summer to try to win $500K for them. It's a game. You do what you need to do to win! Plain & simple.
