Big Brother 12 - Live Eviction, HOH Episode Blog Party Post - Aug. 12

big brother,jackiestvblog

The show is about to start here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll post important updates in this entry. But the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is invited to join in with your thoughts! Later tonight (or, worst case scenario, early in the morning), my full show review will be posted over on TV Squad.

The vote:
Enzo --> Rachel
Britney --> Rachel
Kathy --> Rachel
Ragan -- Rachel
Lane --> Rachel
Hayden --> Rachel

Unanimous, Rachel is gone.

No HOH by end of show, but not really an endurance. I'll open up a separate post for it and hope the feeds come up before they finish.

  1. Whoo Hoo! I have the Margarita's and chips!

  2. Slipping and Sliding in from sunny California. Just about to leave the office but I think I can get home in time to "see" who goes home ... Will there be a double eviction tonight?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I'm actually here from the beginning tonight! This episode will be too fun to just watch alone! At least the kid is with her dad so I can watch in peace...

    ReplyDelete
  4. Will there be a double eviction tonight? hopefully brendon will be voted out. this way rachel will walk voluntarily so nobody gets 'her man.' two for one! we can hope, can't we? -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  5. She certainly deserves it more than you, Miss Brendon

    ReplyDelete
  6. Wow...Julie looks nice tonight. She usually looks like an old lady!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Geez...Maybe he IS Andrew's brother!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I really can't stand to listen to these two anymore.
    Loving Ragan's comments.

    ReplyDelete
  9. quick someone pound me on the back! I am chocking over the words "my wife, mom of my kids"

    ReplyDelete
  10. omg! did he just say "the mother of my children?" -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  11. amazing special person my butt

    ReplyDelete
  12. Bet the whole house is going to come between Rachel and her man tonight. Can't wait to hear the exit messages!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Brendon: You're an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  14. They're both stupid to think that Brendon making that speech actually helped Rachel. If I was Brittany and even thinking a tiny bit about saving Rachel, Brendon's speech would have made me NOT want to use it just to punish him!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. His mother must be dying

    ReplyDelete
  16. Jean Marie -- I heard the same thing. I'm stunned. He'll be stunned too when he watches it back after he's regained his sanity.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "Laws of figzigs" Enzo? Really?

    ReplyDelete
  18. "she must have something in her pants"...lol
I think the same thing...no one sees them. Crazy, but true.

    ReplyDelete
  19. They'd be nuts to keep Rachael.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Do you think when Rahel watches it back she will realize that Brittney just why she isn't liked?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Brachel's plan was probably not such a bad one, given their limited options. It just ain't gonna work.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I was also thinking about what Rachael will discover when she watches it back. They just don't like her and she doesn't see it.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I just realized who Rachel reminds me of. It's my niece. She's only 11 years old but now I know how she'll be in 15 years!! I'm not sure I can handle that...

    ReplyDelete
  24. since brendon doesn't have a leg to stand on he has to pick on the way he pronounces a word! what a joke! -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  25. I hope they kick out rachel!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi All. Sorry I'm late, I forgot my floaties.

    ReplyDelete
  27. OMG...ex-fiance. This should be good! Unless she's a fake boobed, fake haired airhead too!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I'll bet that ex-fiance is so happy she's the ex.

    ReplyDelete
  29. As much as I'm looking forward to the Rachel eviction I'm looking more forward to hearing her interview with Julie. I just wish it were Jeff Probst hosting because he would ask pointed questions, not like the fluff Julie will probably ask.

    ReplyDelete
  30. ORK--I'll bet your niece has a larger vocabulary.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Can't wait to see this ex-fiance.

    ReplyDelete
  32. OMG can't wait for her to find out how annoying we think she is...mean, I know, but I can't wait.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I can't wait for them to get between her and her man!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Non-Hamster Matt8/12/2010 8:23 PM

Ah, apparently the deal about neither leaving was just saboteur-y sabotage of sabotageness. I guess it wasn't a veiled hint at the Diamond Power of Veto after all.

    My bad.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Wow, maybe I should have picked a different phrase for my drinking game. One more "me and my man" and I won't be able to see straight.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Jimmy - Actually she doesn't. I think she removed me as a Facebook friend because I kept correcting her spelling in the comments on her status messages! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  37. lol lisanne....you better sit down soon, you're gonna get blasted!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. No one in the DAB got any votes as most underrated player. They're good at deflecting attention!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I still think this saboteur thing is the lamest thing they've ever come up with. He's gonna get $20 grand for making anonymous videos.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Howdy folks,

Just got home (was washing the dog), what did I miss???

    ReplyDelete
  41. Lisanne,
    lmao!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Howdy. My husband is watching Wipeout and BB is recording in the other room. I'd go in there but we're having dinner and he goes out of town tomorrow.

I am switching to BB at commercials so I am seeing Brendon's ex fiance.

What does he feel is so great about Rachel.

    ReplyDelete
  43. THAT is so funny!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Sour grapes, I'd say.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Sally - Enzo said Hayden's name.

    ReplyDelete
  46. That was very kind of her as far as her comments about rachel. The stuff about Brendon was hysterical.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Non-Hamster Matt8/12/2010 8:34 PM

Yes, Brendan, it's a horrible curse to be persecuted just because you are a moron. Life is so unfair.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I still see some of Lindsay Lohan in Rachel.

    ReplyDelete
  49. sooner or later Matt's lies are going to come back to bite him. I mean, seriously, I know he didn't want to mention the Diamond POV but why not say he won $1000 or $2000...but 1 frigging dollar?!?!? Nobody believes that.

    Britney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. oh, thank goodness, free at last

    ReplyDelete
  51. Whoo!! Ding dong the witch is dead! Which old witch? The redheaded witch!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. 1st in the jury house! Now all those that get evicted after her will be in a house with her. karma bites!

    ReplyDelete
  53. Brit has grown on me, I'm kinda liking her now.

    ReplyDelete
  54. unfortunately, the unaligned morons are going to hand the final 4 to the formerly DA Brigade because they just can't quite grasp what is happening.

Now Brendon will go on a tirade and, unless he wins HOH, end up going next at which point it is game over for Britney, Kathy, and Ragan. This week is kind of the last chance for those 3 to wake up.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thanks be to the BB gods! Rachel is about to go. Get ready for the "me and my man" recording.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Wow, how classy were Britney and Regan with their evication?! These two are disgusting humans and I can't wait to watch them turn on each other when they are on the block next to each other. It's going to priceless to see them find out about The Brigade and how they never had a chance at winning! All that backstabbing was just a waste.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I'm sorry, but I find William Shatner hysterical in his old age. I really miss Boston Legal, hoping $*#% My Dad Says is worth watching...

    ReplyDelete
  58. She is so NOT a redhead, it should be a crime to sell her the dye.

    ReplyDelete
  59. So does it really matter who wins HOH as Matt has the diamond veto?

    ReplyDelete
  60. I brought Guac Merliee!

Orkmommy, to have the night alone to watch BB with us... nice! Julie has had a stylist who is making her lines (at least) look classier.

Classier is not a classy word...
Jeannemarie - I AM hoping hoping hoping, but if they boot both out, there will go at least a week of high drama in the house...

It will be interesting to see how Brendon is without Rachel there.

RBENNIE!!!! Been a long time since you watched with us! (look who's talking)

    ReplyDelete
  61. ORK, Thanks for clarifying that...guess I wasn't listening closely enough and missed Hayden's name.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Lisanne - No, it doesn't. They'll control the veto, the replacement and the vote.

    ReplyDelete
  63. AnybodybutJanelle - are you lurking in the loft again??

    ReplyDelete
  64. Anon, this makes me want to watch back and see what Brittany and Ragan did.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Petals--Did your watch stop?!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Joe,
Me too. I love the web version of Justin's tweets about his father. I hope they write the show well for Shatner because I think he could pull it off nicely.

    ReplyDelete
  67. mrs.whiggins8/12/2010 8:42 PM

Julie didn't talk to Matt, wonder why?

    ReplyDelete
  68. I mentioned awhile back that TMZ has a clip of Rachel from a few years ago. She was a Hawaiian Tropic wannabe bikini model with dark hair. She just poses, no speaking.

    ReplyDelete
  69. uhoh - Enzo whispered to Brendon? Secret alliance?

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sydney - You notice Rachel's Vegas eyemakeup? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  71. SO glad to see her go. For once the house got rid of the person we don't like, unlike past seasons when they stayed time after time.

    Here are the messages!!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Jimmy! I was watching, but didn't get to a 'puter until just now!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Nice, Matt, make a sexist comment. Not bad enough you are lying about a fatal disease but you had to play the PMS card with Rachel.

Frankly, the formerly DA Brigade is not all that nice either. I'm not sure there is a single nice person in that house.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Brendon will either sink or soar. He is definately a "bottom. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  75. Who knew, the Meow Meow always has something decent to say. Brittany, priceless. It's bitchy but SPOT ON. Nice of what's his name to say that if she'd found love it was worth more. Smart to say.

    ReplyDelete
  76. OK, what did Julie's little comment mean?

    ReplyDelete
  77. OMG did she just hint that they may bring someone back in?

    ReplyDelete
  78. What? Say it ain't so Julie!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Somehow...I'm just not quite seein' true love in her eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Am I the only one with this running in my head:" Ding dong the witch is dead! Which old witch? The Wicked Witch!"

    ReplyDelete
  81. May not be the last she's seen of the BB house? No! No! No!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Oh, Julie, don't do that to us! Keep Rachel in the jury house!

    ReplyDelete
  83. Jimmy - what you see in Rachel's eyes is most likely Maybelline black noir eyeliner pencil!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Rachel=Funny; not intentionally.

    Britney=Funny; intentionally

    ReplyDelete
  85. I can't stand Matt. I hope when they start picking off each other they get rid of him first.

    ReplyDelete
  86. We had a weather alert come in and step all over Hayden's speech to Rachel, what did he say????

    ReplyDelete
  87. No Ragan message? It must have been too nasty to show.

    ReplyDelete
  88. I think Julie just made that comment to go along with the saboteur messages.

I'm really disappointed in Julie's interview. I wanted her to ask Rachel how putting her and her man on the block was any different than what she did to Kristen & Hayden last week!

    ReplyDelete
  89. JOe, I agree about Matt's comment. Why go there. He's nasty.

Yeah, Julie's comment -- I went into denial about that.

Maybe at best. America will be asked to vote someone to return and no one will vote her in? Orshe will go back just for a challenge?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Petals - Enzo planned to tell him the house put pressure on him to vote out Rachel.

    ReplyDelete

I can't stand Matt. I hope when they start picking off each other they get rid of him first.

If they're smart, they will. He's one of the strongest players.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Okay, don't everybody jump on me all at once, but I kind of want Brendon to win HOH. Just to piss off all the other hamsters.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Personally, I've always found Matt more objectionable than Rachel. It's not a lot of fun, however, when you have a house full of people to cheer against and no one to cheer for.

I find Britney pretty and funny, but she is just mean, sometimes for no reason.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Britney is a moron! While her comment(s) may have been spot on, it's NOT going to win her jury votes. @@ You can be as bitchy as you want to the first 4 evicted, but why would you antagonize a jury member who will have ample opportunity to bad-mouth you to the rest of the jury. Bad move, IMO

    ReplyDelete
  95. Now I'm kinda hoping Brendon wins HOH. Anyone else winning and this coming week will be predictable!

    ReplyDelete
  96. same exact song in my head. Striped tights as a visual.

They got this challenge from Survivor

    ReplyDelete
  97. Kathy might actually hang herself in this comp, she better just stay at the start.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Go Brenden!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Ahh..Thanks Ms Jackie.
I kinda like Enzo. He has a family and being a Joisey boy, he'd make good with the money.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Brendon will soon be complaining that this competition was designed for smaller people.

    ReplyDelete
  101. those feathers just look stupid and don't really accomplish anything

    ReplyDelete
  102. Who's in the lead?

    ReplyDelete
  103. Anon - Brittany has been picking on Rachel with her hair extensions for weeks and Rachel has been laughing about it. Last week in a DR session they showed on TV Rachel said it didn't bother her and she was flattered.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Syd - I was thinking Suvivor too! But with chicken music. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  105. Lol Joe. I actually want to see Kathy win this one. Her or one of the other floaters. They need to win win win and get out the DAB.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Jackie, will there be a comp post up if they don't finish this? It looks like it'll take a little while anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Anon - are you really "Anybody"?

    ReplyDelete
  108. "you still have a chance to IMPACT the game"????!!!

come on Julie, you're a journalist!!!

    impact's no verb

    ReplyDelete
  109. Hi Lisanne,

Problem is if Britney, Ragan or Kathy win HOH they'll be gunning for Brendon. And even if Brendon won POV, they'd probably go after each other.

    ReplyDelete
  110. You're right,that IS a Survivor challenge.
Joe is right, Kathy might hang herself.

    ReplyDelete
  111. Does anyone else think that Matt's wall photo makes him look like Jughead from the Archie comics?

    ReplyDelete
  112. If Matt was to use the Diamond Veto, he would defintely be out the following week just on principle of lying with in the brigage.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Anon E.

Actually, impact is a verb as well as a noun and an adjective ("impact hammer")

    ReplyDelete
  114. Lane should be good at this, being a cowboy & all... I'd like to get to know him better.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Impact isn't and never will be a verb as common as it's used as one

    ReplyDelete
  116. Lane might have the strength and endurance for this one. Although not agile due to his size, he shouldn't tire as quickly as the others from the weight of the rope.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Merrilee, I agree. Unless Matt himself is on the block I don't think there's anyway he uses the power, it is just confessing to the lie. Although since they all think he's lying anyway maybe he could make a virtue out of a necessity and claim that he had to keep it a secret so Brendon and Rachel wouldn't know and he could backdoor them if he had to.

    ReplyDelete
  118. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  119. This is one of those comps that ends up favoring the fit. There is a slight early advantage for small people but the farther they go the heavier the rope gets and you really need to pull it along at the end.

    ReplyDelete
  120. ORK! LMAO. Yes!! Matt's photo is such a goof. I think he was trying to be a "character". And Rachel's was that pouty, "come hither" shoulder pose...

    ReplyDelete
  121. Atleast not in that context. You can impact a tooth or one can have an impact on something but one cannot impact a game.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Rachel's picture is the Facebook duckface.

    ReplyDelete
  123. –verb (used with object)
    6. to drive or press closely or firmly into something; pack in.
    7. to fill up; congest; throng: A vast crowd impacted St. Peter's Square.
    8. to collide with; strike forcefully: a rocket designed to impact the planet Mars.
    9. to have an impact or effect on; influence; alter: The decision may impact your whole career. The auto industry will be impacted by the new labor agreements.
    –verb (used without object)
    10. to have impact or make contact forcefully: The ball impacted against the bat with a loud noise.
    11. to have an impact or effect: Increased demand will impact on sales.

    ReplyDelete
  124. I have started a new post for the HOH comp coverage. Right now the feeds are still blocked.

    ReplyDelete
  125. New post is up!

    ReplyDelete
  126. Ooh, home just in time to get in on the grammar discussion. Impact is both a noun and a verb. Look it up!

Goodbye, Rachel, farewell ... don't let the door hit you on your way out!

    ReplyDelete
  127. LOL, I've had this argument many times before. Many dictionaries apply common usage to their terms, but it doesn't make it true. Impact, as in influence, is verbing a noun and is definitely considered improper for professional journalists according to the Associated Press. Julie should not have used it as such

    ReplyDelete
  128. The English language changes and grows with our usage. As an English major from the Dark Ages, it pains me sometimes, but it's true.

    Just Google it ...

    ReplyDelete

  130. Just starting for us Westies. Julie looks like she's wearing a maternity top.

I usually want them to just get on with the show and stop with the recaps. Some of the one's they're showing tonight are worth watching again tho.

    Any margarita's left???

    ReplyDelete
  131. thanks for live eviction.. it will be going..........gr8888888888
