Big Brother 12 - POV Episode Blog Party Post

big brother,jackiestvblog

The show is about to start here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll post important updates in this entry. But the real fun is in the comments section. Everyone is invited to join in with your thoughts! Later tonight (or, worst case scenario, early in the morning), my full show review will be posted over on TV Squad.

Ragan won the POV. Brendon opened Pandora's Box thinking he would see Rachel on a 24 hour vacation. Instead, he went on vacation alone and unleashed her on the house for 24 hours. Epic Ragan/Rachel smackdown.

Ragan saved himself, Matt on the block.

The house is already full of spoiled brats, monty; you should be clearer about what you're offering. :-)

  4. I know that Ragan and Brittney are snooty; but I don't care. I LOVE their imitations of Brachel. Kills me.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Let's see if CBS shows the pretzel message tonight!!!

  11. Not trying to mean, but I can't wait to watch Kathy in this comp, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Jeannemarie,

I totally agree. Wtf? Ragan was the worst saboteur ever. Add salt to their food, plug a toilet, do something.

    ReplyDelete

  14. Brendon's wearing his balls on his head tonight. At least we now know he has some.

    Britney is smoking hot...

    ReplyDelete
  18. Seriously, how can Brendon finish first if he's copying Ragan...this is a house of morons

    ReplyDelete
  19. Gee, a BOT -- assume that's all intentional.

    Howdy folks

    *late splash*

    ReplyDelete
  20. And she's down... who would have thunk it???

    ReplyDelete
  21. Kathy sucks so completely. Really. Have any of you done any research on her to be SURE she actually has a job that requires any skills, let alone being a SHERIFF? Seriously!

Maybe the town she's sheriff of got a population of 100 or so?

    ReplyDelete
  22. That sounded like Rachel's little laugh from the Zingbot... argh!

    ReplyDelete
  23. joyn great one! :O) -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  24. i think if it was rachel in the suit, she would have toppled over by being top heavy.

    ReplyDelete
  25. My first thought was that Rachel was the zingbot. I wonder?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Sydney,

My b/f and I said that if we lived in her county, we would move - damn skippy! Can you imagine a criminal there? Catch me if you can, Kathy!!! She's beyond pitiful!

    ReplyDelete
  27. does ragan tell the others he was the S? i would think once they know he's going to be in danger of being voted out. -jeannemarie

anyone else tired of big brother and ready for survivor?

    ReplyDelete
  28. That zinger from Brit on Kathy saying she was going to take it slow was hysterical. How can you not be laughing.. Love her.

Brendon couldn't even copy right. Brawn vs Brain... duh...

Sorry, I like Ragan... I know he's a crybaby, but he's also fun in the diary room.

Do we see Rachel tonight... Oh barf.

but…but…but Brendan is a NEWKLEYUR FIZZISIST! How can he not be the smarterest?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Now let us see where Brendon goes!

    ReplyDelete
  31. HAH! He doesn't get to see Rachel! Unfortunately, we do.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Non-Hamster Matt8/18/2010 8:23 PM

Aw, damn, so much for my hope that Brendan's time outside the house was for him to be deprogrammed.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Seriously, Matt gets a dPOV and Brendon gets a massage?!?!? Do you think it's rigged?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Bwahahahaha... he thinks he's going to see Rachel. Joke's on him!

    ReplyDelete
  35. OMG, did you see Ragan's face?

    ReplyDelete
  36. OMG this is SO FUNNY! what a laugh on him!!! no rachell for him! -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'll throw up with you, Brit!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Ragan is such a little biyotch

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ragan is a little bitchy here.

    ReplyDelete
  40. why don't they all just ignore her? -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  41. Are you kidding me, right now? Can't she think of another comeback?

    ReplyDelete
  42. Zing!!! Gay slur! Rachel is ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  43. OHhhhh! The gay card!

The producers knew it would happen. She is well matched with Ragan. He will not run out of steam before her.

    ReplyDelete
  44. he got to her with the cocktail comment. I saw it on her face.

    ReplyDelete
  45. This ought to be a fun day! LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm not sure whom I blame more for that, Rachel or Ragan. She came in kind of loud, but he started the insults (at least by the CBS edit).

    ReplyDelete
  47. She's b-aaaa-ckkk!

    ReplyDelete
  48. rachell has no class whatsoever. if i were in the house i would ignore her. the produces can't force the hamsters to interact with rachell; can they? -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  49. THat was just their first fight ...

    ReplyDelete
  50. It looks like Ragan has earned $20,000.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Kudos to AG... that was exciting. Even though I knew she was coming back, it was still good stuff!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Rachel and Ragan both reacted like teenagers!

    ReplyDelete
  53. He's at the Jury house and she's at the bb house perfect!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Enzo is doing his little kissa$$ act. He needs to go home next. He's been that way forever, but that was just too low.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Going back to read comments during commercial:

    Non-Hamster Matt -- nyuk nyuk

Jimmy B- Ragan is the new Monique apparently.

Now I want pretzels Monty, but jeannemarie, cheezits and sprite sounds great!

JoyN - Balls on head! Cymbal smash sound effect for that one.

Hi to Joe, Merilee, and Anon

    ReplyDelete
  56. Dopey Brenden thinks he gets to spend 24 hours with Rachel. What a dope!!! Good one, BB!
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  57. You KNOW they put up that video of Rachel so that he'd fall for it undoubtedly because the producers wanted Rachel back in the house THAT BAD.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Rachel deserves every word Ragan uses to insult her.
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  59. ragan won this round! -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  60. Little Brendon will probably have some sexy little thing massaging his soft little muscles while Rachel's yelling and screaming.

    Ragan is on a rampage!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Ragan doin' Rachel's laugh=The biggest laugh for me of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  62. seriously not liking Ragan

    ReplyDelete
  63. I'm sorry, but this is cracking me up. Hilarious!!!

    ReplyDelete
  64. WOW that was a great comeback from Ragan! I actually got a little respect back for him. She is blinking while he said all that.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Ragan sucks at being gay? Can't touch that!

    ReplyDelete
  66. New Tee shirt -- TAKE IT AS A TIP

    ReplyDelete
  67. well that was fun! rachell is left speechless! -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  68. it's just unfortunate that everything he said was true,

right down to the pimples on her chin.

    ReplyDelete
  69. WOW! Rachel was silenced by Ragan.
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  70. He "sucks at being gay"? Her second homophobic comment of the evening.

    ReplyDelete
  71. joyn-

    yes I can top that!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Joe, I think Ragan just spewed all of his pent up anger on Rachel. Can't say that I wouldn't have done the same, in the same situation. He hates her and she asked for the majority if not ALL of it.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Do I have this right?

    YEP!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Yes PQ, yes you do have it right!

    ReplyDelete
  77. WooHoo! Way to go Ragan. If she's supposed to be the bad part of what happened because Brendon opened Pandora's Box, why doesn't she do something to some of the others. Why just pick on Ragan, cause the Brigade is just getting a kick out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Well, they let her into the room finally. She needed a place to hide.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Personally, I score it
    Ragan - 0
    Rachel - 0
    House - 0

    Nobody wins with that..

    ReplyDelete
  80. Don't ever stoop to a stupid person's level. They'll just beat you with experience.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Okay then... BB lied to Matt. They did know that she wrote MATT in pretzels! Zing!

    ReplyDelete
  82. I'd love to say that Ragan should have just ignored her but to be honest, I would have reacted the same way. She just didn't get that he wasn't going to back down and kept prodding him on. He was just sitting there and she started with the cookie crap. You go Ragan! She deserved every, single word!!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I can understand Ragan's rage. Rachel can only understand her own.

Rachel talked about the pretzels in dr so BB knew all about it and did nothing!

    ReplyDelete
  84. BB does cheat.
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  85. honestly, pretzels is no more a rule violation than Matt hinting that "someone has a power to save me".

    ReplyDelete
  86. Interesting that Ragan goes all ED on Rachel and everyone cheers. Wonder why not every one was cheering when ED did it?

    ReplyDelete
  87. Joe - BB has a strict rule that the HG's are not allowed to write. How is Rachel's pretzel message not a violation?

    ReplyDelete
  88. Joe - A lot of the times ED did it, he was the instigator. Rachel attacked Ragan, not the other way around.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Joe NY, what do you mean ED?
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  90. You go there girl!!! Love Britney!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Yes, and ED never stopped, ever. And as ORK said, he provoked it.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Joe, I get your point about ED, but he didn't violate any of the rules. I was an ED fan and supporter. It isn't the same.

    ReplyDelete
  93. PQ EED = Evil Dick from a few seasons ago

    ReplyDelete
  94. Anonymous: ED is "Evil Dick"

Orkmommy: "writing" is open to interpretation. Is sign language "writing"? Would a cartoon be writing? My main point though is not with the writing it is with Rachel having done it: she's NOT a houseguest. She was already evicted. Why should she be bound by HG rules if she's not an HG?

Orkmommy: I'm not sure who started it. Rachel was being loud but mostly playful, Ragan started spewing the hate first when she came in...as I saw it.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Nevermind...newbie here...EVil Dick!
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  96. I missed a second of that -- did Ragan throw Brittany under the bus when talking to Brendan?

    ReplyDelete
  97. That pretzel thing is such an obvious bending of BB rules.
This show is really starting to bug me.

    ReplyDelete
  98. They probably created a loophole in the rules because she's already evicted. The whole thing is to set up Matt - definitely production related.

    ReplyDelete
  99. monty, I disagree. Ragan is probably meaner than ED. ED would instigate and then walk away laughing. Ragan means it, and he's always belittling people. But I don't mean to compare them overall, just in that one little battle with Rachel. Reminded me of ED and Jen which I did not think was ED's finest moment or Ragan's.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Joe, just this season a couple of them were figuring out a code, sort of like signing and BB told them to "Stop THAT". It is forbidden. Whispering isn't, writing messages is!

    ReplyDelete
  101. Actually, isn't Ragan the one who really broke the writing ban by putting the note in Lane's bed?

    ReplyDelete
  102. monty,

Didn't know about the sign language thing, but that falls under a separate rule not the writing rule, it's more the microphone issue. They don't want communication that doesn't get caught on tape.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Love you Joe, but no way-no how is Ragan meaner than ED. :)

It's all a BB ploy and I called it the other day. They wanted Brendon to put up Matt. How else would they get their DPOV used? They did the same thing last year with the Coup de 'etat. Boogie didn't use it, and they were bound and determined to make Jeff use it. :)

    ReplyDelete
  104. I agree that it wasn't Ragan's finest moment but he was right in saying that Rachel is disrespectful of other people and she will get hers one day. Sometimes you have to hit people over the head in order to get your point across and Rachel is definitely one of those people! She had no come back for most of what he said because on some level she knew he was right.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I'm a little disappointed because I was hoping to see some of the post-POV action.

    ReplyDelete
  106. so, the producers coach the hgs into talking about their day and sounding excited?! That's why they sound so weird, almost scripted-like, when they do their DR confessions especially compared to the youtube videos of the earlier seasons DRs

    ReplyDelete
  107. Lane, don't worry... your Stepbrother will be there come Thursday. :)

    ReplyDelete
  108. Monty Said: They did the same thing last year with the Coup de 'etat. Boogie didn't use it, and they were bound and determined to make Jeff use it.

    Good memory!!

And ORK -- Well said, and ITA

    ReplyDelete
  109. Oh, and the fact that Rachel isn't in the game anymore should make the pretzel message even more serious! She's out of the game and shouldn't be allowed to affect the outcome what so ever!! I agree with Jackie...production got involved which is totally opposite from what they've said in so many interviews. They claim to stay out of it and let the game go where the HG's take it. Not this time Allison!! I'm calling SHENANIGANS!!!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Love you too, Monty.

Maybe "meaner" isn't the right word. A lot of times with ED it seemed like he was just manufacturing drama and faking it as part of his strategy. Ragan is really filled with hatred.

    ReplyDelete
  111. They totally sound scripted when they do their DR snippets... the only one who sounds natural when he does that is Hayden.

    ReplyDelete
  112. BB plays us and them in two ways.
    1. their editing deceives us.
    2. they make the game play out in a certain way to make sensational TV which isn't fair to the hamsters as they try to earn the $500,000. I would be so angry as a player because of the way BB can change the game at any moment with their comp choices, etc.
    : (
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  113. That was a good night of TV! Thanks for sharing it with me.

    Nitey-Nite!

    ReplyDelete
  114. The DR prompts them, not really scripted. But they only use what suits them, too. Between the prompts and the editing, they get what they want.

    ReplyDelete
  115. I'm sure they do it all the time. They ask leading questions in the DR, you just know it. In fact, I forget who it was but an HOH a couple years ago got yelled at for coming out of the DR and complaining to the other hgs that the DR seemed to want him to nominate someone in particular.

Rachel coming back is no different than Jeff and Jordin returning: they are both non-hgs and they have different rules. I really don't care about the pretzels...

    ReplyDelete
  116. Tomorrow night's show will be exciting. I think Matt's best move would be to put up Kathy. That way, he doesn't PO the brigade or Ragan and can feign disgust with BB for making him keep his DPOV a secret.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Another thought...the way BB edited the farewells to Rachel will affect/effect [?] each player's jury votes. BB made Hayden look wonderful and Brit hateful. Did they really play the complete farewell speech of each hamster for Rachel????
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  118. Good Point PQ

PQ said: I would be so angry as a player because of the way BB can change the game at any moment with their comp choices, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  119. PQ,

Good point about the farewell messages. Frankly, I wouldn't even be sure they use the farewell messages from that week, they can edit any way they want.

    ReplyDelete
  120. PQ - No. When Rachel was in the house she and Britney talked about the goodbye message. Unless Britney lied (possible), a lot was cut from hers.

    ReplyDelete
  121. BB is beginning to smell like a rat!

    ReplyDelete
  122. I'm looking forward to the fireworks tomorrow night. Now I just wish I could put the Kathy bug in my Pool Boy's ear!

Nite guys... as always, it was a blast watching with all of you. Hugs, Monty

    ReplyDelete
  123. Rachel coming in is TOTALLY different than Jeff & Jordan. They were there to host a competition and had no relationships with anyone in the house. They also have no say in who wins this season or how the game plays out. I usually agree with you Joe but I'm totally not getting where you're coming from tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Thanks for sharing!
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  125. Rachel came in there all smoking guns. She forgot that she no longer has any power in that house and Brendon wasn't there to defend her (rightly or wrongly). Ragan just put her in her place and for once, it did shut her up. And for once, I enjoyed the drama.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I'm sure the hgs take screen tests and fake DR sessions during their auditions/screening process.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Interesting that Ragan goes all ED on Rachel and everyone cheers. Wonder why not every one was cheering when ED did it?

    8/18/2010 8:45 PM
    ******************

    Excellent point!

    ReplyDelete
  128. Have to admit, I was one of those who did cheer ED on.

But Ragan didn't even come close. Remember ED with the pots and pans waking all up? Classic!

    ReplyDelete
  129. Eller-Media said...

Because most everyone recognizes that Ragan is 100% right. (ED was using his schtick as strategy)

    I re-watched this. My score:

    Ragan=50
    Rachel=Big, fat goose egg.

He had her dead to rights.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Oh my I had to miss the party again!! Been having troubles with my internet ever since the last Windows update. Gee, think my problems could be related to that???

Anyway - I just can't wait for tomorrow night's show!! I plan on being here if at all able!! I'll bring a keg of cold beer at least!!

    Sue on the left coast

    ReplyDelete
  131. I thought Ragan's comments hit home to rachel. they were all completely true. Hopefully she gains some insight into her attitude, but i doubt it.

I thought many of DR speeches sounded particularly scripted tonight. more so than usual.

Can Matt put Ragan or Brendon back up on the block?

    ReplyDelete
  132. Hi SueGee-

And popping in to say hello to the West Coasters that are watching!!!

    ReplyDelete
  133. As far as Rachal and Ragan, I think they were both just trying to hit buttons. I doubt she has any issue with him being gay but it's a nerve just like he probably doesn't have any less respect for someone who is a drink server. They both are bad. Ragan seems to be a very judgemental person in general to me, just saying...

At the begining when Ragan was crying in his room and talking to himself i could swear he said something like I need to win the veto and take myself off but it's my brother. Wouldn't that be funny if Lane and Ragan were brothers. I konw they aren't but it would be funny.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Matt acts like he can put Brendon on the block, can he?

    ReplyDelete
  135. Matt cannot put Brendon or Ragan on the block.

    ReplyDelete
  136. For the Diamond POV, does Matt just get to name his replacement or can he change both nominees? Are HOH and POV winner safe??

    ReplyDelete
  137. I was wondering that too. Thanks for clearing that up Jackie.

    ReplyDelete
  138. Sorry Jackie, we must have been typing at the same time. He only replaces himself, not both nominees, right?

    ReplyDelete
