Survivor: Nicaragua - December 8th Episode Blog Party Post

survivor,jackiestvblog

Survivors Ready?

Welcome one, welcome all! The blog party is ready to start! Everyone is welcome to join in with comments as the show airs here on the East Coast or even later in West Coast time. As the show airs, I'll post major events here, but the real fun and most of the reactions are in the comments section. See you there!

Chase won reward, taking Holly and Jane with him after promising Sash he'd take him. Uh-oh. Sash is the odd man out between the two alliances.

Sash won immunity. Tribal should be interesting.

Hmmm ... Benry was voted out.

  1. Hey fellow survivor junkies!

  2. Sash has his work cut out for him this week, doesn't he?

    ReplyDelete
  3. well Jackie, I think it's just you and me tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Hey, Merrilee, Jackie and any who come on to the party.

Merrilee, when is the artic front scheduled to hit your area?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Becky-
I think tonight. it is getting cold out here

    ReplyDelete
  6. Supposed to be in South TX this weekend I believe.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Loved that! Named the chickens Na and Kelly because they were chicken!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I am in Central Texas...

    ReplyDelete
  9. Jackie, how is your weather? It doesn't bother your knee to have to travel to and from work in the winter?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hi folks,

    Long time no see!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Did Chase just make a deal with the devil???

    ReplyDelete
  12. Go Holly! My pool pick

    ReplyDelete
  13. I remain somewhat in shock that Dan is still around. Why they didn't toss him during the team portion, I'll never know. But even after that, he as like no personality and claims to be rich and not need the money...does everyone just want to be sitting next to him at the end?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hello everyone.

Down to the nitty gritty now.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Finally, some people actually playing this game hard...

    ReplyDelete
  16. Sash didn't take kindly to Chase's broken promise.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Artic blast is in the southeast already! Our high was in the 30's today!

    Go Jane!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Chase making the deal with Sash was not too wise. Too bad he couldn't take three with him.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Becky - Cold here, high around freezing, but windy so it feels colder. The replaced knee does fine with it, the other aches but it's not as bad as the left one was before replacement.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I keep wondering why they don't send Dan home too.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Joe, I think they figure they can get rid of him any time.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Sash is stuttttterrring badly!

    ReplyDelete
  23. ewwwww... they didn't even take a shower before they ate.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Becky,

I'm sure that's part of it, but they should know better. Dan can also end up being the swing vote.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yes, Chase, that wasn't too bright a decision. May be your last week now.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Chase's downfall is hindsight. I know he likes Jane, but he really should have taken Sash.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Chase has probably set himself up for a hard fall.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Sash may live (barely) to regret not saving Brenda or Marty or both. How he sat there with an immunity idol and let the other morons pick off all the people loyal to him is ridiculous. I know James et al always get called out for poor play (or non-play) with the immunity idol, but Sash may be one of the worst ever. He could have saved his whole alliance and shifted the power by using it to save Marty. Instead, he let them oust Marty and then Brenda and left him without any allies.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This season does make me appreciate my evil little friend Russell. He had a huge target on his back both times he played but he managed to save his alliances both times by gutsy play with the idols. These guys have totally wasted the idols and let the tribe just wither and even quit. One of the worst casts ever, in my opinion.

  30. I don't want Fabio to go. Why is Sash in such control? He is a wormy lil guy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Boy, I rarely remember so much discussion of whom to vote for before they've even had the immunity challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  32. *moving from pool to hot tub, where it is much warmer* Joe, come in!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Why isn't anybody saying to vote at the most worthless person still in the game, Dan???

    ReplyDelete
  34. Merilee, I have been thinking the same thing. He is to the point of sickening me.

    ReplyDelete
  35. well, that does mean Sash will need to choose ONE side. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  36. $100 bucks that Chase will be the one voted out. Any bets??

    ReplyDelete
  37. Get rid of dead-weight-Dan, not Fabio!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sash is safe with the immunity. They say they'll vote out Fabio but I wonder.....

    ReplyDelete
  39. Dan is the perfect one to be against at the end -- he didn't do anything and, while they seem to like him okay, he has no sob story nor really close friends.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Merrilee, I'd take that bet, but this groups is so different. Impossible to predict, there is no rhyme or reason to anything they do.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Joe, doesn't the hot tub feel great? I can't wait until we get the one in NY up & running. Can I bring my rubber kitty?

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think Jane or Chase will go.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Petals-

That is true, but I feel Sash will comapaigned against him for not taking him on the reward.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I tend to think the vote will go for Chase.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Chase did such an honorable thing. I was surprised and happy at his reward choices.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Hey, Petals. We need a hot tub up here about now. We've had like 7 straight days of snow. Nothing huge (maybe a foot total) but it just gets tiring after a while.

    ReplyDelete
  47. The keep dead-weight-Dan around for a sure vote, but what a waste of food & space! He is just marking time until the vote, eating food & sucking air.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Honey, I wish we had some midwest snow. We wil be in the 50s Friday, then dropping to single digits over the wknd. I don't mind the temp, but how about some white stuff?
I wish I were by you, for real. Miss the the winters in the Northeast.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Jane deserves to win, period. Nothing to do with her being poor, or older, or a woman. She has PLAYED!!!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Why have they not told Jane to vote Fabio??

    ReplyDelete
  51. Sash is really sounding like a worm. Jane may be in real trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  52. LOVE it Jeff!
    The 2 quitters!!

    ReplyDelete
  53. LOL. Way to call out the quitters, Jeff!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Go Jeff! "Our two quitters, NaOnka and Kelly."

    ReplyDelete
  55. You could feel how disgusted Jeff was last week with Naonka, especially. LOL
I think quitters shouldn't be allowed to vote. Send them home, and make due.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Dead weight Dan, safe again.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Dan must feel like a heel

    ReplyDelete
  58. Holy Cow! It's Benry out.

    ReplyDelete
  59. WOW! I was beginning to think it would be Fabio.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Why was the jury shaking their head? That didn't seem like that shocking an ouster...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Didn't see THAT coming! lol

    ReplyDelete
  62. See ya'll Sunday for The Amazing Race! Have a good one!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Joe, I have to get out of the tub now, I am turning into a prune. Besides, I need to talk to a sexy man about arranging a visit.
    Ciao everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Marty and Brenda probably thought they should vote out Sash. They know better than anyone that Sash can't be trusted. This group just amaze me. Joe's right. May be the worst cast ever.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Going to finish decorating the Christmas tree now.

Glad it was Benry and not Jane or Chase or Holly.

    See ya'll Sunday... stay warm!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Well, we know which alliance Sash went with, but for how long? Stay tuned!

    ReplyDelete
  67. agree, joyn. Although they couldn't vote out Sash so someone besides Dan (LMAO) had to go home!

    ReplyDelete
  68. Dan has to be the worst "player" to ever get this far...

    ReplyDelete
  69. Yeah, talk about dead weight.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Oops, that anon was me.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Sadly there are characters which are not even annoying enough to be on that reality show.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Quiters on the jury???? Blasphemy IMO. They should have sent them to their own personal Exile Island for the duration and then sent them home. They DO NOT deserve to be part of the jury or even be part of the reunion either.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Dan might make it to the final 3
and then lose becaus he can't do
    anything physical.

Also the reunion show with the 2
quitters will be great, more interesting then the winner.

  74. I just keep watching Dan and see it as a smart move to keep him in. He can't win anything, so he's good to have around in competitions, he simply is not a threat. And no one would vote to give him the money in the end unless the other finalists are so hated, no one wants to vote for them. So hey... keep him around and keep voting off the competition.

    ReplyDelete
  75. But Meb, it would be so disheartening to see Dan win just because they hate the other finalist(s) so much. He's a bump on a log this season. He doesn't even attempt to play, much less win. He follows the others like a lost puppy and does whatever they tell him. He's not even under the radar, he's sub terra. Has to be the worst Survivor ever.
