The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business Season Finale Blog Party

Wow, it's actually starting on time again this week for the big season finale! That might be more amazing than the race itself.

Once it starts, everyone is welcome to join in with comments as it airs -- that's where the real fun is! I'll be updating this post with any big news as I watch it here on the East Coast. Stop on by and jump in the pool!

Who's going to win? My personal hope is that Justin and Zev get the million. But I'm pretty much okay with any of the remaining teams winning since Kent and Vyxsin got the boot last week. I SO didn't want them to win! My blog pool team is the Globetrotters.

They're off to Brazil. Due to bad cabbie luck, the Globetrotters are a half-hour behind the other teams. The Roadblock has them dancing the samba. Gary and Mallory have taken over the lead. Zev is having dancing troubles.

Yipes, hair waxing ahead!

Detour - On the Rocks or On the Beach -- making local drink, sell bikini tops.

YES! Zev finally got the dance down! Gary and Mallory in the lead, then Kisha and Jen, Zev and Justin, the Globetrotters. Uh-oh, Zev and Justin lost, Globes pass them. Zev and Justin are the only team choosing to sell bikinis. Justin speaks Portuguese (or at least Spanish).

It looks dismal for Zev and Justin.

Pit Stop
1. Gary and Mallory - won a Mediterranean Cruise
2. Kisha and Jen
3. Globetrotters

Rats, my favorite team is last to the Pit Stop. They're eliminated.

Now the remaining three teams are heading to Miami, Florida.

Roadblock - dry-docking a boat. Gary and Mallory have a bad cabbie and aren't to the Roadblock yet.

Roadblock - searching for a treasure chest in a submersible.

After finding yet another clue, they have to set up a trailer site. Jen and Kisha currently in the lead, Globes at their heels. Gary and Mallory behind and using the same bad cabbie they had before.

Kisha and Jen in the lead, Globes right behind them riding tricycles over the 7 Mile Bridge.

Jen and Kisha WIN The Amazing Race!

  4. I hope the brothers or the sisters win. I have Mal and Dad too, but like the other two teams better.

    ReplyDelete
  5. first time in the history of the pool that my team has made it to the end. I usually get the Big Brother player that goes first or second or TAR team that goes early. Im celebrating!!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. oh no!!!!! thats a big difference in flight times!!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Dangit... Big Easy, you dope!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Caela, its a first for me as well. Go Trotters...

    ReplyDelete
  9. doesn't seem like a very fair road block. I don't know that I'd ever get through it.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I've been asked to dance by males who dance like the brother!

Waxing? OUCH!!! Boy wouldn't Ralph (on Survivor) be in trouble?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Feel bad for Zev, and I can't wait to see Flight Time or Big Easy do this!

    ReplyDelete
  12. I hope Zev gets passable on the dance. Maybe they can give him some alcohol! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  13. OMG, Becky - Ralph would scream like a girl. That would have to hurt a guy... even one not so, um hairy. Reminds me of the '40 year old virgin'.

    ReplyDelete
  14. GT are still in it!!! Cmon guys!!

    ReplyDelete
  15. On the ROCKS!!! Sounds like our kind of task, lol

    ReplyDelete
  16. as big as he is, Big Easy looks comfortable dancing. LOL at his outfit!

    ReplyDelete
  17. They were hilarious dancing on their other season. Was it Dutch? I can't remember...

    ReplyDelete
  18. This will be bad for Zev as well. I'm not sure how he'll handle the waxing.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Am I the only one who thinks the challenges are harder this year. I am surprised that the GT did not get the dance approval the first time. He looked pretty good to me.

    ReplyDelete
  20. whoa they are hairy!!!

    ReplyDelete
  21. "whats the penalty for knocking her out cold" LOL!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. I don't think I ever told everyone hello. Hope you Moms had a wonderful day.

    Hey, everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  23. It was a bittersweet Mothers Day for me, Becky. Took roses (red) to the grave. The first year I haven't spent it in the 'flesh' with her, but the flip side is she is in heaven spending another wonderful Mothers Day with my Grandmother, and her first one with my brother who died as a newborn. :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Congrats to Gary and Mallory! Had them last time as my pool pick, but I'm still rooting for the GT's this time. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  25. I hope CBS is just messing with us to make it interesting. Grrr

    ReplyDelete
  26. YAY!!! Feel bad for Zev and Justin...

    ReplyDelete
  27. Monty, I am so sorry. I am fortunate to still have my Momma with me. She will be 93 in July.

    ReplyDelete
  28. :( im sad! i really thought they would win it all!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thanks Becky. Hold your momma tight! <3 That's an amazing age. My grandmother (I mentioned) lived to 93. She was an amazing women also and my Momma took after her. Mom was 85, so I have longevity in my family. :)

I"m actually excited for the end city and run for the million. Three great teams in it this year. Go Trotters!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I hope the sisters win now.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Too bad... I'm still not sure who to root for!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Whoa... will that be a penalty?

    ReplyDelete
  33. r they going to get in trouble for not having their backpacks?

    ReplyDelete
  34. It's going to be bitter sweet for the sisters if the GT win because the girls told them the milage during that one leg.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Where are Mallory and her dad. Oh, no!

    ReplyDelete
  36. get out of the cab!!! omg! i cant believe how many racers have been lost bc of a bad cab driver!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Caela, looks like our team is out.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I know Becky! So close! i will never get bragging rights! I better get a good BB houseguest this year!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I just thought of it... they don't have their backpacks and any notes they've taken during the race. That could hurt them on the final task???

    ReplyDelete
  40. i wasnt thinking about notes. I just thought u had to have your belongings when u got to the finish line?

    ReplyDelete
  41. Why didn't they just make him stop and ask someone! He was texting... CALL... how dumb! I feel so bad for them!

    ReplyDelete
  42. That could be also, but I know teams have dropped their packs in the final run to the mat, so it will be interesting to see what that shot of the bags going onto the checked luggage track means. ??

    ReplyDelete
  43. I wanted Zev and Justin to win and if not father and daughter. Now looks like they might not make it either!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. This could be a needle in a haystack!

    ReplyDelete
  45. that looks like a fun task!!i hope the sisters can do it! water is not their friend!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I'm on the edge of my chair.... drama tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I want one of those personal sub doohickies!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Taxi left the GT... They'll probably grab the guy that Mallory and her dad have and then he'll get lost... bad move if it happens...

    ReplyDelete
  49. I would have ditched that cab after the first screw up...

    ReplyDelete
  50. i read an interview with Phil and he said it was a close finish! im on the edge of my seat!!!

PS- Did anyone see that Megan and Cheynne (sp) from season 15 (i think) got married? Had 3 TAR teams in the wedding party. Article also said that Miss America Ericka and her hubby got divorced. That ends the gossip update for the day =)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Sorry late to the party...was looking at bridal stuff online and i-chatting with Amanda, but watching the show!

    ReplyDelete
  52. That women is right out of the 1970's. Can anyone say "bad hair" decade?

    ReplyDelete
  53. Those girls are strong.... and tough!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Really gray sky behind them!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Monty, I thought of Mullet Woman from Survivor. Can't remember her name.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Haha, yes Shambo had the bad hair too! I was talking about that 'rats nest' tease job! :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks for the name. Hey, Joe, how is the puppy?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Hi Becky,

Puppy is over 50 pounds and still growing. MOSTLY house-broken but keeping me up every night.

    ReplyDelete
  59. The mullet, I had one (lol) was more of an 80's do! :)

    ReplyDelete
  60. If I had known I would be on TV I would have had my roots done?

Meb, I am rooting for the sisters. They were raised by a single mother. They want to make life easier for her.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Come on Trotters, lets go!!!

    ReplyDelete
  62. Joe, is the drag on the house breaking #1 or #2?

    ReplyDelete
  63. pro atheletes against the girls against the old guy...no contest

    ReplyDelete
  64. occasionally...usually when she's tired

    ReplyDelete
  65. LOL, my honey just said it looked like Miss Rose had a bird's nest in it!

    ReplyDelete
  66. If it is #2, take her outside as soon as she eats and walk her around.

    ReplyDelete
  67. they must not have been as close as they made it seem

    ReplyDelete
  68. im so happy for them!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Becky, the other day she was very tired. I took her out, left her there for 10 minutes she started barking to come in, I let her in. 30 seconds later she's peeing in the kitchen.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Great Mother's Day Gift!

    ReplyDelete
  71. Glad they won, but anyone except Kent and Vxysin(?)

    ReplyDelete
  72. Good, I am pleased. I think they could use the money more.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Guess the bag being left didn't matter.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Zev in his jammies!!! Love that!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Liked they did not have to drag their backpacks through this last leg, like other seasons

    ReplyDelete
  76. Alright guys! It was a fun season! See everyone in a couple of months for Big Brother!!!! =)

    ReplyDelete
  77. Another great TAR season and my best finish in the POOL. See you all Wednesday and then next Sunday for the Finale of Survivor!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Joe, the next time she has an accident, wipe it up with a paper towel and seal it in a zip-lock bag. The next time you take her out, place the paper on the ground and let her sniff it. See if that works.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Night all. See you Wednesday.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Thanks everyone! It's been a great season!

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yes Jackie... a great season... at least I was able to get over here on occasion.

got caught up in Celebrity Apprentice and didn't get here to say goodnight to everyone.
