Big Brother 13 July 28 Live Eviction/HoH Show Blog Party

Photobucket

The live eviction/HoH show is about to start here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll update this entry with major events. But the real fun is in the comments and I hope you all join in!

Julie announced Double Trouble is done, then recaps began. Ah, good. They plan something on yesterday's brouhaha.

So far, it's all about the Backdoor Jeff plan and exposing Daniele as the "mastermind" of it. Kalia is approaching Brendon, the impetus of the kitchen brouhaha. That bottle cap snapping she did was incredibly annoying on the feeds. I wanted BB to tell her to knock it off. Kitchen brouhaha begins.

Live vote soon, pleas begin. Dominic gave his practiced "like you all but you're spineless jellyfish" speech.

The live vote:
Jeff -- Dominic
Jordan -- Dominic
Kalia -- Dominic
Daniele -- Adam
Commercial break.
Brendon -- Dominic
Shelly -- Dominic
Lawon -- Dominic
Porsche -- Dominic

As I predicted in the last post, only Daniele voted for Adam. Bye, Dominic, you were fun while you lasted.

Game about to change says Julie ... Congrats, top ten, duos over. Huh? That's the big game change? We knew that was coming!

HoH starting - Big Brother slalom -- on a small platform with skis embedded on the side of a mountain. First five opens snowballs, something good or bad, one contains $10,000. Skis wiggle back and forth. They have handholds. The mountain gets steeper.

I'll be creating a separate endurance comp post which will be updated with screen caps and the happenings. If you want to know before Sunday, join us there!

  2. i have a fruit platter if anyone wants some nice cold fruit!

    ReplyDelete
  3. Fruit sounds yummy. I'm sitting in the shallow end tonight. I think I had one too many tequila shots last night. :)

    ReplyDelete
  4. Hi all~ There's a BIG pitcher of Sea Breeze for this week!

    ReplyDelete
  5. Hey jeannemarie and anon 8:56... I'm diving in.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hello jeannemarie, Jackie and all! Here we go.....

    ReplyDelete
  7. I really want to see how much of the fight they show tonight. I've told all of my 'show' only friends about it, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  8. What is the point of Danielle voting to keep Dominic? He won't be on the jury and she needs to win back some favor with the power foursome in the house. She is a strategic idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  9. I have a Seagrams strawberry daiquiri! Let the show begin!

  10. But you are stupid, Dani.

Really kind of hard to make a case for keeping Dominic strategically for Brendon and Rachel. So why is she even trying to sell it?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Joe, she's going down on the sword for Dominic. I don't get it either, but she already drew a line in the house and she's going to keep it.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Hey, everyone. I am sticking to ice tea tonight. It is too hot to drink.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Becky, I made a jar of sun tea... it's a big jar and plenty for everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Hi Monty,

I see that about Dani. I just don't get it. I got it with Nick. (1-5-3) She liked him, their relationship was important, she broke off her engagement for him. But she's platonic with Dominic so what is the point in throwing her game out because of him? I really don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Jeff and Jordan are acting a little like Brenchel - totally paranoid and irrationally angry.

They make a nicely balanced foursome.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Maybe Dani didn't mature as much as we all thought the first two weeks?

    ReplyDelete
  17. House meeting! Yay!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Rachel is acting like the most balanced person in the house...it's the 7th sign of the Apocalypse!

    ReplyDelete
  19. ~*~splash~*~

i have a key lime pie!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Rachel loves drama. As long as there is lots of it, she doesn't need to create it

    ReplyDelete
  21. "Venus-fly Donato"

I LOVE that. Best thing Brendon has ever said on the show in two seasons...

    ReplyDelete
  22. would love to see an upset & have Dani go.

    ReplyDelete
  23. wow...big surprise...not.. BB has never kept it's partners rule the whole season (siblings , x-factor, love connection...)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Petals, my karaoke partner just showed up. :) I'm liking your Jeff float more and more every day.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Y'know, Dani's Daddy would have blown up the house if he got caught like she did. I think Brenchel, Jorffdan and ED would have been one heck of a lot of fun running the house this summer.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Monty - LOL. I told my peeps at work that I'd been drinking Cuervo last night, and that Sally showed up with a Margheritaville shirt, etc...they think I am nuts.

    ReplyDelete
  27. So I never understood America's fascination with Jeff and Jordan and after seeing Jeff's behavior I'm even more confused.

WHEN WILL ANYONE IN BB EVER LEARN TO NEVER THROW THE VETO COMPETITION...ever since the dumbest move in BB history by Marcellus one thing even the newbies should know is to fight for the veto and USE IT!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Splash! Sorry I'm late but been cooking dinner on the BBQ. Anyone for some BBQ ribs and salad?

    SueGee on the left coast

    ReplyDelete
  29. @anon 9:15 They never intended to keep it for the whole season. Of course it is rather stupid at this point. The only "pair" they are breaking up is Kalia/Lawon since the other two remaining couples are actual couples. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  30. My Jeff float is big enough for all of us!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think Dani's loyalty to Dom might be strategic, to curry favor with the newbies, "you can trust me...I'm loyal...remember my campaigning for Dom?"

After her love-hate relationship commentslast night, I don't think she feels as bad for Dom as she feels about him.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Haha, Petals all my co-workers think I'm nuts when it comes to BB. One of them said I needed to get a life back in S10, LOL!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thanks. I brought some veggies and dips.

    ReplyDelete
  34. SueGee - omg, bbq! How yummy. our buffet table is full of goodies! you guys rock!

    ReplyDelete
  35. anon 9:17 Totally agree. No one (except Dr. Will) should ever willingly act the pawn. And there is no point in sucking up by throwing the Veto if you are already on the block. What are they going to do? Nominate you again?

    ReplyDelete
  36. *paddling on the floatie, face smeared with bbq sauce, a celery stick in one hand, a strawberry daquiri in the other*

    ReplyDelete
  37. dang, Kalia! Go on witchyer bad self girl!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Kalia looks a little insane. What's with the perseverating on the water bottle?

    ReplyDelete
  39. was this the aforementioned "brouhaha"?

    ReplyDelete
  40. Woah! Brouhaha (or how ever you spell it!)

    ReplyDelete
  41. You didnt seem to mind me 'perseverating" you, Joe. hehe

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm surprised Dani is laying that low...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yikes, Rachel loaned Brendan his balls back...

    ReplyDelete
  44. Shelly looks like David Spade.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Brendon and Jeff need to cool off.

    ReplyDelete
  46. One good thing about this fight--there's no stealth whispering and nosubtitles to deal with.

    ReplyDelete
  47. One good thing about this fight--there's no stealth whispering and nosubtitles to deal with.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Bye, Domenic.

    ReplyDelete
  49. lol...oh, Lawon..

    ReplyDelete
  50. I love the fact that they always blame the other people for acting just like them. I mean how is Jeff's crap any different than Jessie et al during his season? Everyone looks out for number one.

Dani's only real sin here is bad strategy. In fact, haven't Brenchel and Jorffdan both talked about backdooring the other pair? They didn't do it, but they talked about it when they were HOH.

    ReplyDelete
  51. ok...in the spirit of imbibing, I will be drinking when Rachel cries AND when Brendan says "my fiance".

    ReplyDelete
  52. Fun times, I love it. CBS actually did a good job chopping that whole fight all together. Good job CBS!

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'd like to watch the bruhaha's on the live feeds. I'm sure the intense music conditions/stimulates our emotions. Classic Hollywood trick.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Why would Lawon even bother to say that? LMAO. Does he not realize his greatest asset right now is that no one considers him a threat to them?

    ReplyDelete
  55. Jorffdan. hehe good one, baby

    ReplyDelete
  56. Persevating is not a nice word... I do it a lot, even when I don't intend to. I get stuck on my cat for instance, lol :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Petals said...Yikes, Rachel loaned Brendan...

    That needed a spit alert!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm confused. It is a game why do they seem to be playing soo personally?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Danielle hates Jeff, it's in her eyes!

    ReplyDelete
  60. oh, stop it Jeff. You used the Golden Power to totally backdoor and backstab Jessie.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Anon - they have to protect their reps, yo

    ReplyDelete
  62. monty i'm always in the shallow end -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  63. hi meb -jeannemarie

    ReplyDelete
  64. Joe, he was given that power by us, LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Dom is throwing Adam under the bus with his spineless jellyfish comment meaning floater.
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  66. Dom's speech was fine until the end when he told them all that they SUCK! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  67. So what is the twist? That's what I'm most interested in tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  68. I REALLY hope Kalia or Danielle gets HOH. I really don't like the 2 couples. The arrogance and macho-macho BS is really annoying

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hey Petals, I'm drinking because Kalia cried!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Come on Kalia, girl, keep it together! you got a hoh to win.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Where is Syd? I wanted to get her opinion of Julie's outfit...

    ReplyDelete
  72. LOL, I'll join you Monty!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Monty, I think the twist is just the end of the partners and the start of playing individually. Not a very big twist!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Monty, I know Jeff got the power from the people. My point was that his claim that he plays upfront and all isn't completely true. Did they really never backdoor anyone during his season? I mean, right here he's totally evicting Dominic for Danielle's crime just because he can't reach her. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but his getting on the high moral horse is no more true than anyone else. The only one who lacks guile is Jordan and that's because she has an emotional IQ of 200 and an intellectual IQ of 50.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Kalia put on a bold front all day today and said she would vote to evict Adam. I guess Dani convinced her not to, but you saw how she reacted? She's too emotional to play this game and she's my girl in the pool. But then again, I've been on the Jeff float for a while now.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Joe - They cut Lawon's bit. In the real brouhaha, it ended up being a moment of brevity.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Is the end of partners really a twist? I mean we knew it ended at the top 10 anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Dom is right. He was the ONLY newbie actually playing the game. The others are completely intimidated by the veterans. If they actually played together instead of kissing the veterans butts the whole game, there would have been an actual competition. Right now it's really just another Big Brother all stars show. Kalia is trying to step up, but the rest of the newbs are way to scared.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Looks like Bye Dom... bring on the HOH...

    ReplyDelete
  80. What about the newbie Porshe?????

    ReplyDelete
  81. Porshe is such a kiss aXX back stabber.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I don't think the newbies are exactly kissing the vets butts because they are vets. The vets have won all but one of the comps and have been running the house. The floaters always simply gravitate to the power. Frankly, there was little point in the newbies getting some big plan together before they actually had an HOH in hand. That was Dani's mistake.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I brought caramelized bacon to toast Adam on his non-exciting golden key.
    Margo

    ReplyDelete
  84. Joe, Petals and I love it when you get all mad. Just kidding. I agree with 100% of what you said. They all talk big in the DR. Jeff couldn't chance keeping Dani's 'General' in the house. If you can't cut the head off the snake, take their closest companion in crime out. That wasn't Adam.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Porshe was even kicking Dom when he was down...going out the door.

    ReplyDelete
  86. UGH WTF Porshe--"This Jellyfish votes to evict" was only proving his point.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Agree, Jackie. Lawon made if funny at the end of it.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Monty, I agree. At this point it makes sense for the vets to vote out Dom.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Monty - hehe...yeah, Joe is cute when he gets all huffy & red-faced. :)

    ReplyDelete
  90. Actually, I think "This Jellyfish votes to evict..." was kind of funny.

    ReplyDelete
  91. UGH WTF Porshe--"This Jellyfish votes to evict" was only proving his point.

    So true, Anon!

    The other anon
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  92. true Joe, but the only reason the vets even have hoh is because the newbies were not working together. Plus, despite which side has hoh, the other side has the votes. The newbs did not even vote well.

Either way, I'm standing by my conspiracy theory that BB producers purposely picked weak newbs to play against some of the nastiest/strongest veterans.

    ReplyDelete
  93. "you can try and pop me"...WTF?

    ReplyDelete
  94. Jordan is just SO CUTE! I love her and Jeff.
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  95. "Nobody comes between me and my man!!!" LMAO...

    ReplyDelete
  96. Joe in NY, Leave Lawon alone. I love him, too!
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  97. OMG if Kalia doesn't get it together right now!

    ReplyDelete
  98. I hope anybody accept the veterans minus Dani, win HOH!
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  99. FUNNY comments, especially from Jordan.

Now the big twist. YUK, some big twist. We have known since day one that the Golden Key ended when they were down to ten.

    ReplyDelete
  100. what a dumb "twist". The only forced duo still remaining was lewon & Kalia. duh

    ReplyDelete
  101. LOL, glad she told us the twist we already knew!!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Loved Jordans goodbye message!!!

    Jamie

    ReplyDelete
  103. LOL, glad she told us the twist we already knew!!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Becky, you're right!
    Jordan's farewell was priceless!!!
    PQ

    ReplyDelete
  105. @anon 9:44

I don't completely disagree. I'm just saying that if you look at a decade of BB, the early votes all tend to have lots of floaters just going along with HOH so as not to create their own target. I think these newbies are behaving pretty much like most other contestants. I don't think they are any weaker or playing any less than anyone in the past. We'll see what happens when one of them gets HOH (if it ever happens) but it is pretty normal for the house to go along with the power until late in the game.

    ReplyDelete
  106. yeah, even the houseguests weren't impressed by the twist

    ReplyDelete
  107. Ugh! Really Big Brother? They did this already with the surf boards. Well the 10G's sweetens the pot, but I'm left scratching my head here.

    ReplyDelete
  108. This is actually an endurance comp that favors Dani. Small, athletic women usually win these endurance comps with balance. The guys big feet and heavier bodies usually do them in...

Anyone want to bet Porsche is the first one out?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Cracking open cold balls & taking whatever is inside? That's Rachel's specialty.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Great HOH comp!

    ReplyDelete
  111. "Everyone is on their own"...well if you wanted that Julie, you shouldn't have put 3 real couples into the game...duh!

    ReplyDelete
  112. Joey-Luv, my money is on Kalia to be first out.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Petals, Petals, Petals...
    [shaking head and laughing hysterically]

    ReplyDelete
  114. It appears that the mountain didn't move very much... problems do you think or was that it... I know it'll get worse as they go along, but I wanted to at least see something.

Jackie.. keep us posted girl friend!

    ReplyDelete
  115. I'll take bets on how fast Kalia falls out of this competition. My girl is not a good player. I say she's gone before the live feeds come on.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Little side bet, Petals? Kalia is almost as useless as Porsche but she is a little pissed right now. And those big forward extensions of Porsche are going to work against her here...

    ReplyDelete
  117. If Rachel or Brendan wins this one it's really going to be a very boring game...

And there are 4 people who are not playing for themselves. I think the producers really screwed up this season with bringing back half the house with such a huge advantage. Either do all former contestants or all new.

I understand they are trying to make us watch by giving us ppl we know but... I think it's ultimately working against them.

    ReplyDelete
  118. How come Lawon already looks like he's dying?

    ReplyDelete
  119. Petals said...Cracking open cold balls & taking whatever is inside?

You are on a roll tonight! What happened to the thought that a certain guy didn't have any. Oh, right, she lent them back to him.

Lawon looks like he is suffering.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Hi Syd,

I actually like mixes of new and old.

    ReplyDelete
  121. PLEAZE!!!!!! Not Rachel or Brendon!!!!!!! CBS GODS HEAR ME!!!! PLEASE!!! I BESEECH THEE!!!

    ReplyDelete
  122. wow - I forgot about Lawon. You're right, Joe. He will go first.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Next game changing twist means revive a houseguest! Just me thinking ....

    ReplyDelete
  124. I'm also willing to take bets on the entire wall collapsing before this comp is over. The wall seems to be in as much pain as Lawon.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Night all. Switching to Project Runway. See you Sunday.

    ReplyDelete
  126. Lewon has looked like it's a problem from the first second. He has his knees locked...

    ReplyDelete
  127. Well none of them will be sleeping well tonight. their legs'll be moving in their sleep

    ReplyDelete
  128. oh this was a fun party ! There is so much food & drink leftover. MMM

    Thanks, Ms J - :)

    ReplyDelete
  129. This is another challenge where the girls have the advantage... because of upperbody strength and not having too much weight to support -- all about the grip.

It would be interesting to see Dani win - she certainly has the intent.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Monty, I'm sure you're right. But will they put someone in, make it a choice on an eviction, let us vote...Pandora's box...lots of ways from them to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  131. wait, so Rachel gets to play?

    ReplyDelete
  132. No, Rachel is not playing.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I hate this comp because its recycled from the surf board one, but I'll stay up and watch it, LOL. Have a good night folks.

    ReplyDelete
  134. The difference Sydney is that one of the former pairs can go up on the block with one from one of the other pairs... thus being single, so to speak.

I like the pairs too Joe. I wish they had kept them to see how it ended.

I agree they're bring someone back... hope it's Cassie! I want to see her and Rachel go at it again. : )

    ReplyDelete
  135. Jackie has the endurance thread up!

    ReplyDelete
  136. Bring back Cassi, that would be great!
Hi & Bye Syd (what'd you think of Julie's outfit?)

    See you guys soon. XOXO
    *mmmmwahh* Joe!

    ReplyDelete
  137. My husband said put th ewinners of BB and put them on Survivor, and put the Survivors in the House. Do we think Rachel would adapt? Brendan is a whiner and wouldn't for sure...

    ReplyDelete
