Survivor South Pacific 9/28 Blog Party

Survivor South Pacific

Survivors ready? It's almost time for the show to start here on the East Coast. As it airs, I'll be updating this post with major events. But the real fun and active discussion can be found in the blog party comments. Stop on in and share your thoughts on the show!

It's immediately to Redemption Island for the suel between Christine and Semhar. It's concentration and balance. Semhar goes all funky with some spoken word prayer. Christine wins! Bye Semhar.

Brandon admitted to all that he;s Russell Hantz's nephew. He tells them he hates to lie and Russell is NOT him.

Ozzy told Keith he had the idol. Keith told Whitney after promising to tell no one.
Baby Hantz continues to alienate the rest of his tribe with his odd behavior.

Immunity challenge ahead -- reward is coffee, tea, etc. Upolu wins ... and Coach is still doing so much better than his previous seasons.

The tribe wants to vote out Papa Bear, but tell Papa Bear it's Cochran. Papa Bear pretended he found the idol, made a fake one and told Cochran.

The tally --
Papa Bear
Cochran
Jim
Papa Bear
Papa Bear
Papa Bear

Papa Bear is heading over to Redemption to go up against Christine.

  3. Yes, Coach remembers....

  4. I'm on a two minute delay until the first commercial. A little boy had to go out and do some business. Jackie, the WV is still on.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Okay, where is everyone?

    ReplyDelete
  6. Hi!!
Ozzy wrote me a letter! He made a pen from squid ink & a peacock feather, and he'd made the paper from wood of a mango tree (so it is scented)

He says he misses me, but the game is going well, and he will be on the island for at least five more weeks.

  7. Hey, everyone. Jackie, I bet all of you are having a wonderful time. How is the knee holding up?

    The WV is still on.

  8. (joe - you looked cute in yout reunion pix)

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hi Petals,

And a pathetic reunion it was...

    ReplyDelete
  10. That Semhar is a weird one.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Petals, you are a hoot! Coach tried to call me collect call on a phone made from a coconut -- but I wouldn't accept it.

    ReplyDelete
  12. well, Joe, at least you looked good. *wink*

    hey Monty & Becky!!

    ReplyDelete

    SueGee on the Left Coast

  15. I still think it sucks to have to burn the buff.

    ReplyDelete
  16. SueGee -Trader Joe's is awesome! I am addicted to Prelude to a Quiche

  17. What's our drinking word(s) tonight?

SueGee (who needs a cold one or two after going to the Dentist today)

wv= blych I bet that food tastes blych~

  18. Hello everybody! Semhar recited WHAT?? LOL!!

Christine my pool pick is still alive I guess!? I'm not exactly sure how this 'redemption thing works.

    ReplyDelete
  19. This may be reaching a bit, but I am predicting that Coach begins to charm Christine. I'd love to see him pull-out some voodoo dragon warrior love talk, and then totally blindside her!

    ReplyDelete
  20. Little Hantz is over thinking everything. I doubt he goes far!

    ReplyDelete
  21. If she keeps winning she goes back in the game!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Hi Ed!

Sue - how about the word "immunity"?

    ReplyDelete
  23. Sue - I work at a dental practice, and I need a coupla cold ones every night! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  24. Creepy Hantz is just way too full of himself. He plays way over the top on everything. He needs about 10 years of maturing before he's ready for this game (IMHO)

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm out of the pool ... Yippeee! I really didn't like my gal in the game and I'm glad to see her be gone.

Brandon has told the truth now but I'll bet he still feels the temptation from the "evil woman". Blech! I want him to go next!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hey Laurie! How does it feel to actually be watching the show at the same time as everyone else?
    ;)

    ReplyDelete
  27. haha - so he kept his "big secret" for what? 4 days?

    ReplyDelete
  28. @ SueGee How many times will Christine have to win?

Hi Petals was your letter air-mailed/Fed-Exed?

I'd like to see coach take Christine under his wing, so to speak

    ReplyDelete
  29. Ed - a dolphin carried it to the the FL panhandle, then a seagull passed it to a zebra finch, who brought it to me.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Don't understand Ozzie's logic... He has to tell "someone"? Why? You either tell everyone or no one (IMHO). You can use it to try and control people, or you can hide it to save yourself. What's the point in telling one person.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Who does Little Hantz think he is??

    ReplyDelete
  32. Creepy Hantz is a borderline personality.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I really don't like the new version of the Hantz. He's troubled and not much fun to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  34. SueGee said... What's our drinking word(s) tonight?

    "Sin?"

    ReplyDelete
  35. so is the drinking word "immunity"? or "Uncle"?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I am already so OVER little Hantz

    ReplyDelete
  37. It's strange to really be live blogging with all of you at the same time. I'm loving it.

Poor Brandon and his raging hormones, what's a guy to do at that age when a pretty girl is around?

What happened that caused Brandon to ask to be left out of the drama? Sound went out here for a couple minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sorry about the WV, you do realize I'm on vacation and on a strange computer in a strange setting, right?

    ReplyDelete
  39. Agree Joe. Ozzy made a mistake. I'm rooting for Little Hantz to be evicted at this point. I'm almost feeling sorry for him.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Little Hantz is a billion times worse than Russell. Russell was at least fun to watch.

    ReplyDelete
  41. speaking of vacation jackie - did you guys boil up some crabs for us?

    ReplyDelete
  42. No problem, Jackie. Sorry... just wanted to let you know. Hope you all are enjoying the vacation!

    ReplyDelete
  43. so peeps - what is the drinking word? hurry, I have a cold one ready

    ReplyDelete
  44. Russell played the game. Little Creepy Hantz just has tantrums for no apparent reason other than he's slightly imbalanced.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I say Ozzie's team loses...which is why we saw all that immunity idol stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Ohh, I like this challenge!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. yeah, little Hantz apparently spends most of his time hiding his boner behind is Bible.

    ReplyDelete
  48. YAY!!! I'm rooting for Coach, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  49. Immunity, I have your word, who are we voting for? They all sound good to me ;)

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm drinkin on immunity (its a sure thing, LOL)

    ReplyDelete
  51. Petals, I don't think Creepy Hantz hides his erection behind his Bible..he uses it as a bookmark!

You'd think Papa Bear is the most likely one to go home. Don't know if there will be any drama. They left 20 minutes to stir some up!

    ReplyDelete
  52. JOE!!!! Good one! *smooch* haha

Laurie - hi to everyone, and I'm glad you get to be here, "live".

    ReplyDelete
  53. Gotta give it to Creepy Hantz and Coach...both were nails in that challenge.

personally, I think Ozzy was trying to do too much. Fatigue is probably why he dropped the board. He's the best athlete on the team, but if you go too hard, you're going to have to own the loss and you're are going to be in the Bullseye more than you need to be.

    There's no "I" in team, Ozzy. :)

    ReplyDelete
  54. I say Papa Bear too! I think they've given Cochran too much airtime for him to be going home.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Immunity works for me unless it is Hantz ROFL

Scratch Pizza is almost ready so if I disappear again it is GOOD LOL

    SueGee

And to Ed in Ohio - Only Survivor knows how many times they have to win to get back in the game at this point. Last time it was like 5 or 6??

    ReplyDelete
  56. Ozzy told me that Cochrane will be around for a few more weeks...

    ReplyDelete
  57. Frankly, Cochran should try to get them to split the vote and try a little coup...

    ReplyDelete
  58. gotta say it: I am a bit skeeved at 'Papa Bear', his boxer briefs, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Am I the only one who would ask, "Oh yeah, lemme see it"?

    ReplyDelete
  60. cleverly phrased by Cochran.

The problem is,Papa Bear did nothing to undermine the Five and just managed to split himself from Cochran

    ReplyDelete
  61. Petals,

Spoilers aren't as trustworthy as they used to be before the whole Russell controversy and the lawsuit.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I know, Pumpkin...I am reading them and just hoping some are true
    :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. At least one of them voted for Jim and not 'papa bear'. That was a nice sign of respect. I hope he smokes Christine at RI next week. :)

    ReplyDelete
  64. Petals, I think that big red stain on Ozzy's shirt shows he has a 'lotta' heart.

    ReplyDelete
  65. NO Monty!! My poor Christine has to take on a Papa Bear!

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'm reading the spoilers too, Petals. I'm not sure how reliable they are now.

    ReplyDelete
  67. This is the fastest hour. :(

    ReplyDelete
  68. Ed, Jim and Papa Bear are one and the same ;)

    ReplyDelete
  69. Off to watch Harry's Law... see you all Sunday night!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Ed, yes, Ozzy has a lotta heart. He told me that when he wears his hair down, he does it for me.

Bye guys! This went too fast.

    xoxox

    ReplyDelete
  71. I know Monty, What I meant to say was "Oh no my pool pick Christine has to take on a 'Bear'!"

She might have had a better chance against Cochrane.

    ReplyDelete
  72. well, till TAR...back to work!

    {Petals}

wv is "eudist" Do you think Creepy Hantz used to be a eudist?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thanks for blogging on your vacation, Jackie. You are awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Oh and I forgot to mention how much I am enjoying all the pics on FB!!

Have a nice rest of your vacation and see you Sunday for TAR!!

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  75. I don't know what to say about my "pool pick" Brandon except I like Joe's "Little Creepy Hantz" moniker. I hope he doesn't have to carry the burden of being Russell's nephew in RL but he does seem to be emotionally unbalanced.

    Petals...

    LMBO! Ozzie's such a hottie.

Semhar just had to burn her buff. Guess she took the game too personally. I'm glad Ozzie didn't have her around to hook up with...in the game.

I hope Jackie and "crew" are having a great time. Take it easy on that knee, Jackie. Can't wait to see the photos.

Still haven't watched TAR on the DVR yet but looking forward to it. One of the teams is from my city.

    Anybody watching "Terra Nova"?

    Have a great weekend all!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Zoetawny,

I loved the first Terra Nova. I am hoping it doesn't go the way of Lost (and Twin Peaks) and end up incomprehensible.

It plays again tomorrow at 8 ET!!
