Big Brother 14: HoH Results, Nominations Show Blog Party - Aug. 5
Welcome aboard the Good Ship Blog Party! Now, if you've been following the live feeds and/or the reports I write up here, you already know who won the HoH Endurance Comp on Thursday night. If not, you're in for a surprise!
As the show airs here in the Northeast, I'll be updating this entry with the major happenings. However, as always, the real fun is in the comments area. Come join in with your comments!
After the inevitable recapping of previous events, it's to the HoH endurance. We all know that all but Boogie hit the button, but Britney and Janelle are denying it. Britney tells us she hit it because she had no chance to win as a coach with one player left. Janelle told us she just wants to win. Dan loves to play the game. Boogie just wanted to coach this year.
Boogie jumped out first. Then Jenn. Then Joe. Then Ashley at near two hours. Dan shortly after. Frank out. Boogie told him that Dan had told just before the comp that Frank had been the target.
Danielle promised to keep Wil safe. Wil and Shane jump at the same time. Janelle jumped figuring Britney looked solid and would have her back. Over three hours into it, Ian jumps after being guaranteed safety, then Britney the same. Danielle wins HoH!
She wants to put Boogie and Frank on the block so that one will go home. Dan, thinking of himself wanting all the coaches in still to make him a lesser target, is pushing for a Wil/Frank nom.
Nominations time! The key order: Britney, Ian, Dan, Janelle, Jenn, Shane, Ashley, Joe, Boogie. She went with Dan's nominations -- Wil and Frank.

ReplyDeleteHi Jackie!!
SueGee on the Left Coast
Hello!
ReplyDelete*~*~*~*~*~*~ SPLASH ~*~*~*~*~*~*
ReplyDeleteHey all.
ReplyDeleteGood thing I checked your blog Jackie! With the Olympics on I keep forgetting about Big Brother!
ReplyDeleteHey Ms Jackie, Sue, Sharon...
ReplyDeleteHey Jimmy, Hey Ork!
ReplyDeleteHi Petals.
ReplyDeleteI brought some shrimp cocktails for everyone tonight - hot sauce or regular
ReplyDeleteSG
Hello everyone!
ReplyDeleteHey, everyone!
ReplyDeleteSueGee, I'll have some of those shrimp. I brought sliced lemon and don't need sauce.
ReplyDeleteThe birds would make me jump into the water!
ReplyDeleteBoogie is a crybaby. A big one.
ReplyDeleteOkay, am I here by myself?
ReplyDeleteHello everyone! I had to run through the drive-thru. Beers over at the bar.
ReplyDeleteDidn't think I'd make it actually.
Hey Becky, Hey Susan!
ReplyDeleteShrimp, mmm. Great idea, Sue.
I have 2 no-bake strawberry mouse pies. Dig in.
Wil has to stay around. He's DR comic relief.
ReplyDeleteMonty - I LOVE the drive-thru beer places in OH. I used to stay in Columbus a few times a year, and I thought the beer barns were so fun.
ReplyDeleteHI Kids
ReplyDeleteIt's my FIRST time all season getting to watch and so of course I'm jumping into the POOL!
Becky - you aren't alone. Boogie skeeves me, always has. He has such a co-dependent personality, imo.
ReplyDeleteRochelle!! Welcome back!
ReplyDeleteI'm here but in and out of the room. I think I want one of those cold beers to go with my shrimp...
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Can I just say I am repulsed by Mike Boogie and I haven't missed one moment of his stuff on the show...
ReplyDeleteGoes to show Boogie was fine with being a HG. All the other stuff was just an act. Who would have thunk it?
ReplyDeleteThanks Petals - not sure if I can watch much this season. Congratulations by the way :)
ReplyDeleteBoogie is not aging well ..in appearance or behavior/attitude.
ReplyDeleteIf he ever had it, Boogie has lost it for sure.
ReplyDeletethanks Rochelle, and yes! You are allowed to be repulsed by Boogie, but not everyone is as repulsed as we are. LOL
ReplyDeleteI will say this, tho:
He jas matured, and I do admire how he is on a "health kick" for his new baby. He is always working-out.
Oh, just saw the shrimp. Mmm, I like mine with hot sauce. Ever been to St. Elmo's in Indi? Their cocktail sauce is H-O-T!!
ReplyDelete"Cornhole" game?
ReplyDeleteAll I can think about when I hear that is, "I am Cornholio"
LMAO
Hey everybody. I got so engrossed in the comp I forgot to come in and say hi...
ReplyDeleteHey Rochelle... welcome!
Late as always, lol Hello BB people
ReplyDeleteJoe, are you here? On the roof? Just checking...hope you didn't lose power.
ReplyDeleteCiao all!
ReplyDeleteWow Danielle sure is popular all of a sudden!
I loved Dan in his season, and I still love him. Especially that he is so in love with his wife. He is a sweet guy.
ReplyDeleteWhy does the lying shock a liar???
ReplyDeleteSPLASH~~~~~
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie, Hi everyone. Get to participate tonight - I'm not working!
What did I miss. I'm not watching the show because my husband is watching the Simpsons. He controls it until he goes to bed. LOL
Penny
So...Boogie's a sucker & telling Frank they got over on him.
ReplyDeleteI don't see what difference it makes now; especially to Frank.
Hi gang
ReplyDeleteSTOP YELLING! Someone told me that Joe's "fang" reminds them of a French shave, if you catch my drift. Can't say any more than that, this is a GP blog.
ReplyDeletePoor Ian.
ReplyDeleteHow are you holding up Becky?
ReplyDeletePenny
Fakemance!
ReplyDeletePetals
ReplyDeleteDan is the Man!
I'm here! SueGee, can I have a mix of regular and hot with my shrimp? I want spicy, but not too hot. I'll take one of those beers, Monte. A nice cold one sounds real good while I wait for the show to start here on the west coast.
ReplyDeleteI just ate and now seeing Shane and Danielle kissing after she won lol DOH
ReplyDeleteShane's suddenly interested in a showmance.
ReplyDeleteBoogie... quit being a creep!
ReplyDeleteBecky!!! Get to the corner.
ReplyDeleteI'm hanging in there, Penny. Thank you for asking.
ReplyDeleteUgh. Boogie wants to do
ReplyDeleteChill Town Redeaux with Frank?
More like Still Town, as in: Boogie STILL can't play the game on his own. @@
Are there any throws there. I'm chilly.
ReplyDeletePetals, the best drive thru in C-town is the Barley Bin in Hilliard. Any wine or beer you can think of.
ReplyDeleteI cannot stand Shane (sorry Jackie); he's arrogant and SO obvious regarding Danielle.
ReplyDeleteSliding PDX a cold one ~~~~~~~~
ReplyDeleteforgot how much MIke SHOUTED in the DR
ReplyDeleteDream on Danielle, dream on!
ReplyDeleteYay, I can turn the channel to Big Brother now!
ReplyDeleteSorry Becky... Laurie found them in San Diego. : )
ReplyDeleteOK.. back to the game... Shane is so obnoxious. He never knows when to shut up. If they talk to him he always keeps interrupting with one word or one liners. Another one who can shut-up as far as I'm concerned.
I've stopped in Hilliard! Dont remember the name of the place, tho.
ReplyDeleteI always stay at the Country Suites on Evans Way, off 270.
Janelle threatened?? by... Danielle? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Hey Ed, Hey Jon, Hey meb!
ReplyDeleteMike talks in a whisper compared to Joe.
ReplyDeleteNo Shane, you didn't figure that. You don't even know what Britney is trying to tell you.
ReplyDeleteHey PDX & Penny!
ReplyDelete^5 Monty
Agghh Boggie, don't hate the player, hate the game.
ReplyDeleteI never believed Dan did it by accident. For a first, he shot off his mouth without thinking maybe, but I don't think so.
ReplyDeleteLook at Boogie lol
ReplyDeleteBTW, been meaning to ask... having just seen the letter or Danielle... did Shane ever get a letter??? I never saw him read his but did see Britney read her's as a coach.
ReplyDeleteVery candid of Danielle talking about her parents.
ReplyDeleteYou know Petals and Monty - as long as I've lived in Ohio, I have never been through a drive through. These guys come to my side of the Ballpark to party in the area I work, I know them, but have never been through one. LOL. There are A LOT in Ohio!
ReplyDeleteBecky, I have a leopard Snuggie...here...
ReplyDeleteI know lol who doesn't tell their folks they are going in to the BB house minus you don't talk with them or something bad, but just not wanting to hear them kind of nag you.
ReplyDeleteDang, will she have to keep her promise? LOL
ReplyDeletePenny - I've never seen them anywhere else, so I was loving them, the novelty.
ReplyDeleteEd - do you shop at the drive-thru beer barns?
Petals, Yeah... Just a couple times mostly in rural areas when on a golfing trip
ReplyDeletePetals.. if the plan would go through from last nights BBAD, Janelle would be going out the door on Sunday with Danielle being the sender.
ReplyDeleteI like Janey but not as much as previous years, so I wish it would happen just for the excitement of it. Sorry. : )
I LOVE IAN lol
ReplyDeletePoor Ian...oh the woes of a geek.
ReplyDeleteIan is adorable
ReplyDeleteROFLOL Your personality?
ReplyDeleteThey used to have drive-thru convenience stores here. Started as drive-thru Dairys then added beer too. They have sadly all disappeared I think due to regulations
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Um, didn't Chilltown punk every out in All-Stars, Boogie?
ReplyDeletemeb - it's OK. I think they only ones of us that still love Janey are myself & Monty. For myself, I can say that my girl-crushes die hard. :)
ReplyDeleteBoogie is all I want my ice cream now lol
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteIf she does not put up Boogie, she is crazy. I don't care if he's a former coach or not. Danielle has a point.
ReplyDeleteIan is adorable. Just an innocent.
ReplyDeleteThere she goes. Just like Shane... hello, it does NOT guarantee that one of them will go home. These people are so simple in their logic, UGH!
ReplyDeleteI love Ian, too. I think he is gonna blossom like Patrick Dempsey. The geek thing is just a phase...he is in the cocoon, gonna be a butterfly.
ReplyDeleteI think I mean how much DAN shouts in the DR. And I'm sure you all already talked about that the first week, lol
ReplyDeleteSeems like her safe choices are Frank, Boogie, and/or Janelle.
ReplyDeleteWe have drive through Bars here! You can buy frozen mixed drinks by the drink or by the gallon
ReplyDeletePetals you can through my hat in to the pool that is Janelle as well :)
ReplyDeleteI wish Dan and Danielle would remember that Dan is NO LONGER a coach!!
ReplyDeleteI'm still a Jannelle fan too. Her & Dan are my all time faves
ReplyDeleteWho should she nominate? What do you all think?
ReplyDeleteYay Jon (we'll be the Janey Club, LOL)
ReplyDeleteHey Lynn - where do you live?
LOL Petals. I like Ian, but a McDreamy? I'm having difficulty visualizing that one.
ReplyDeletemonty, I agree with what you said about their logic. If Danielle only knew how much Dan wants a coach alliance. He's not thinking either, cause that would mean only 4 votes... where does that really help him. And why does he automatically think that he's next on the block if...
The two Ohio cities with the most beer barn drive-thru(s) are Columbus and Dayton. In my experience. ;)
ReplyDeleteHe thinks he's so good. Man, this man is delusional and arrogant as all get out.
ReplyDeleteShe is Spiderman now lol
ReplyDeleteLOL Dan was spot on right about what Mike Boogie would say in his DR session about being surprised about NOT being nominated...basically stealing Will's DR Shtick word for word.
ReplyDeleteLynn - Texas, right? Wow. Drive thru daiquiris - awesome!
ReplyDeleteDeer in headlights Danielle. She makes my head hurt watching her.
ReplyDeleteLMAO. He actually looks disappointed. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh Will, please.....
Shut up Boogie
wow Boogie - have another Delusion sandwich. LOL
ReplyDeleteHA
ReplyDeleteProof the Diary Room is prompting their comments -- Boogie isn't acting like that on the feeds at all this season.
ReplyDeleteDon't they know who mike Boogie IS!!!!!!!!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteI live in Louisiana in a suburb of new Orleans
ReplyDeleteYes, Dayton has a lot of beer drive thru's. Owned by one guy, too. Young rich kid.
ReplyDeleteSee you all later!! On Wednesday!
Enjoyed tonight all. And was a good girl and didn't embibe... See you soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!
yes daiquiris, margaritas, Pinna coladas, white russians Etc.
ReplyDeleteThat man is just plain too full of himself.
ReplyDeletePoor oldd boogie "don't get no repect"
ReplyDeleteEd, was just telling the same thing at dinner tonight. I put ED in my favorite group of players, but he had America helping him through the game. Dan and Janelle are my two tops as far as favorite players ever.
ReplyDeleteNew Orleans, ahhh... OK.
ReplyDeleteCool!
Jon - where do you live?
ReplyDeleteI'm in Maryland.
ReplyDeleteMonty.. Good Choices!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by everybody!
ReplyDeleteAs always, is a pleasure people, will try and be here Wednesday, if not then Thursday for reals.
