Big Brother 14: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - Aug. 22

BB12 Blogo 3

My gosh ... so much has happened in the house that I totally forgot that they haven't aired the PoV show yet! As it airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. But, as always, the real excitement is in the comments area! Pull up a comfy chair, grab a beverage to sip (or chug) and come join us!

This should be a good one!

Veto player pick time -- Shane - Jenn, Boogie - Houseguest's Choice (Ian), Frank - Houseguest's Choice (Ashley). Danielle is the host.

Big Brother Candy World is the PoV comp. It's a counting game. Ian needs to throw it so he won't have to take one of the nominees off the block. Heh. Boogie is eliminated first. Frank is in the lead, Jenn out second. Shane got his first point, Ian is out. Ashley got a point, Shane out. Frank wins!

America's vote for the Have Nots: mozzarella and matzo, cheddar and chipolte, feta and fennel.

Veto Meeting time. Frank saves himself. Shane puts Jenn up with Boogie.

  2. I thought of a drinking game - whenever Boogie mentions being invited to Dan's wedding/bachelor party (LOL)

    Hey Jedi Jackie & everyone!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Hey, Jackie, Petals, Penny and everyone else who arrives.

    ReplyDelete
  8. margarita w/salt, coming up!

    ReplyDelete
  9. Hi Becky - how you holding up?

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hey sharon, hey Becky!!

Margarita? We may need to 2-fist it!

    ReplyDelete
  11. I love, love, love it watching Boogie and Frank squirm.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yes please, as this show will be full of Boogie. ew!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey everyone! Slide me one on the rocks with salt.

It seems like eons ago that Shane threw Brit under the bus, lol

    ReplyDelete
  14. Froogie bullied everyone in the house ! Jerks

    ReplyDelete
  15. Doing okay,Penny. I spent several hours at MY house cleaning today. I was exhausted when I got back to Momma's. Do you know how much dust can build up in four months? A lot. Tommy does what he can -- but he cleans like a husband.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Boogie needs to go.

Petals....your avatar creeps me out. Too funny!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Boy, Shane can't win or losing, can he?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I can understand Brit being upset. Shane should have just refused to say.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Shane's as dumb as a post.

    ReplyDelete
  20. *sliding margarita to Monty*

Ian is the mastermind behind the Froogie nom.

Ian's innocent luster is dimming (for me)

    *sluggin a drink*

    ReplyDelete
  21. She didn't rat Ian out there, and they jumped to the conclusion that it was Dan.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Someone needs to draw Shane a diagram. He doesn't understand it, lol

    ReplyDelete
  23. What bullies. Frank and Boogie are jerks.

Britt you made that decision to leave your job and your husband, not Shane's.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'll have a Margarita on the rocks, please.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi every one above!

    Couple of bullies for sure!

Frank seems to be obsessed with Dan.

    Margaritas??!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm still team Dan and Team Ian. I'll have to pick a side one of these days, :)))

    ReplyDelete
  27. Back then, they thought poor little Ian needed protecting. Whew, how things change.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I am Team Dan! If Janey can't win, then Dan. The Man!

    ReplyDelete
  29. How can you not love Ian?

    ReplyDelete
  30. LOL - Ian. Playing the game. Sneaky....

    ReplyDelete
  31. the devil with a teddy bear.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'm team Dan all the way & I'll take Brit to replace Janelle.

Non of the newbs impress me. Well maybe Ian a little but not sure about him yet.

    ReplyDelete
  33. He's an adorable little BB devil, lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. I am team Ian all the way.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Monty, I used to like Ian, but now...Today and yesterday, he got too gamey for me.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I don't hate Ian. I have removed my rose-colored glasses. I admire his memory, but I think his squirreling has gotten to his head. Too many nuts.

    ReplyDelete
  37. hi folks

Shane really isn't too bright, is he?

    ReplyDelete
  38. Petals, he's just playing his game and his role as the secret agent. He isn't any different than he has been with me. A lot of folks take what he says outside of the QP as what he is really doing. If you watch his DRs on the show, you can see he is loyal to a group that just might shank him.

    ReplyDelete
  39. And ditto on your squirrel & nuts comment Petals, I feel the same.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Monty, I admire Ian. I just like Dan more. Ian is OK, but not my fave. I think Dan out-gamed everyone this week.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Okay, Boogie, here it is in the open. I just plain don't like you. You are a bully, full of yourself, and a bore.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Dan the man is so chill. Get it Boogie? He's outplayin the Chilltown!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I think that Ian is just caught up in "belonging".

    ReplyDelete
  44. Hey Pumpkin!! How nice of you to stop by!
    Margarita?
    Ed, margarita?

    ReplyDelete
  45. Geesh Boogie and Frank, all of you are there to win the game. You would do the same. If the shoe was on the other foot, you would stand up for yourself, too. Are you that mad?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Agree Becky and Petals.

    ReplyDelete
  47. They don't FrankenBooger any explanation!

    ReplyDelete
  48. I suppose it is human nature, but Frank and Boogie wasting all this time trying to figure out who wanted them nominated doesn't help them at all. I mean even if Dan got him nominated, the goal needs to be to flip Dan back or flip everyone else. Calling him a liar, etc. just solidifies a Dan vote against them.

But if you are a bully, I guess you can't help but try and bully. I guess that's why Boogie and Will worked. Boogie could play pit bull while Will supplied the finesse.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Dan played it Chill, but give Ian some credit. He played loyal to his group and managed to sell himself to Frankenboogie as so loyal as to be beyond suspicion. That's some pretty serious game.

    ReplyDelete
  50. They seem to think there's a house rule they have to fess-up. They should tell Boogie to go pound sand & not answer at all. I'd tell him if he pursues this--he's out for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  51. You nailed it there, Joe!

    ReplyDelete
  52. Sure Petals pass one over!

Off topic did you see that Rafa dropped out of the Open? Might make things a little easier for your boy Roger!

    ReplyDelete
  53. FrankenBooger, LOL!!

Joe - they didnt just spend a few minutes trying to pin down the source. They went on a rampage. The made way below the belt hits on Dan, Delusionielle & Joe.

    ReplyDelete
  54. I can't wait to hear what Boogie says when he realizes Ian was behind his being nominated.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Here comes the chip conspiracy, lol

    ReplyDelete
  56. Sharon--I'd say his ego will only permit him to show nothing but admiration.

    ReplyDelete
  57. That Jimmy and when he finds out that Dr. Will said on the live show weeks ago that his money was on Ian!

    ReplyDelete
  58. Why is Delusionielle squeaking?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Boy, Ian has them fooled, doesn't he? Got to admire the kid.

I really do not want a previous player to win. Go Ian!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Frankenbooger is just too obsessed with Dan it really took up all their energy. Joe from NY above nailed it.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Frank, they are scared of you! DOH

    ReplyDelete
  62. Agreed Jimmy
    Monty -- I missed that!

    ReplyDelete
  63. I love my dumb pool girl... not

    ReplyDelete
  64. If it isn't Dan, I'd like Ian. That's be my dream F2 (since Janey is gone, *sad face*)

    ReplyDelete
  65. IF we were drinking on "picture", Ashley would have just killed us all.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yea, Monty...Boogie's in for a few surprises.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I'm seeing pictures...lots & lots of pictures!!!

    ReplyDelete
  68. MOnty - I found a pic of your girl! Coming in PM

    ReplyDelete
  69. Boogie first out, bwahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  70. Awesome, thanks Petals :))

    ReplyDelete
  71. Say what, Ashley? Your logic leaves me speachless!

    ReplyDelete
  72. "you have to double it because it's a 3 D object..."

Do you think every teacher Ashley have just cringes?

    ReplyDelete
  73. Danielle sounds like a chipmunk

    ReplyDelete
  74. Frank was smooching on Ashley today. Maybe someone introduced him to soap?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Sharon S, Dr Will said it on the live show when he was rating the coaches in the comp. It was a early week.

    ReplyDelete
  76. LMAO - "Ian doesnt have his head in the game"? Oh, Booger, if you only knew!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Has Ashley used the same number each time??!

    ReplyDelete
  78. Dani must have production in her ear telling her what to say....

    ReplyDelete
  79. Wow, she actually got one?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Lol Joe! I would guess, YES

    ReplyDelete
  81. She sounds like a Munchkin: "She represents, the Lollypop Guild, the Lollypop Guild, the Lollypop Guild!"

    ReplyDelete
  82. I've missed a lot of episodes this year.

    ReplyDelete
  83. her she goes! Fold against one player... OMG

    ReplyDelete
  84. AGain, Ashley dear, you can't fold with 2 left....

    ReplyDelete
  85. Oh my, does she ever think? Wow.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Oh, Bully, if only you knew! Ian was great in how he "threw" the comp. Our little James Bond.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Love the muppet, Petals ;) She's definitely getting her strings pulled all over the place this season.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Penny, who is the puppy?

    ReplyDelete
  89. This has the potential to really suck going forward. It's kind of like The Brigade only this time Britney is in the secret alliance.

As things stand, there is no opposition to them and no real recognition that they even exist. If they hang together and keep their heads they are going to end up knocking off everyone else at least down to 6ish when they may have to make a move.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Joe - no. There is opposition. A lot of stuff happened today. It's crazy!

Are you gonna watch Blair on Survivor?

    ReplyDelete
  91. Back to Bully (only because it is fun seeing him down) -- just wait until he gets home and sees the season. I hope the baby isn't there. He might drop kick it against the wall! Another drink, please. Jackie, I may need you to call me a cab tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I can't wait for Blair on Survivor!

    ReplyDelete
  93. I cannot believe I'm watching BBAD, forgetting the show is on. DUH!

    ReplyDelete
  94. LOL Becky! I took it easy on the Tequila in this one

    ReplyDelete
  95. Who is Jenn kidding? If they keep HIM in the game, they will lose, also. Aren't they thinking? Apparently not

    ReplyDelete
  96. Boogie almost cried real tears in the convo... almost

    ReplyDelete
  97. See, this is where your earlier yelling works against you Boogie...

    ReplyDelete
  98. meb, if it;s from last night, then it was QUITE a show!

    ReplyDelete
  99. And the Oscar for WORST ACTING goes to...

    ReplyDelete
  100. Do you think Bully has lost a lot of his money and might be in $$ trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Brit has the humor of someone older than 23. Isn't tomorrow her birthday?

    ReplyDelete
  102. This comment has been removed by the author.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Becky - there is much speculation about Boogie's $$ situation. But he did admit to Brit this week that he was forced to sell his Bentley 6mths ago. @@ Cry me a river!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Brit gives good DR! Happy B-day Brit!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Boogie, I hope you are being played...a lot. So, so arrogant.

    ReplyDelete
  106. Lol, did you do that Boogie? He did the opposite when he went up and not Dan. What a day that was in the BB house. Loved it!

    ReplyDelete
  107. Boogie's Bentley was probably costing him more than his house.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Imagining Boogie in a Bentley is like imagining a Kardashian in church. It just don't fit!

    ReplyDelete
  109. Britney will be 25 tomorrow. I hope she survives the second eviction. That would be a rotten birthday indeed if she didn't

    ReplyDelete
  110. It is from last night Petals... and I am enjoying it, but I'm trying to catch up here... and Shane is an idiot!

    ReplyDelete
  111. Becky - the puppy is my granddoggie. She's my daughter's little Chihuahua. She is such a good dog. Doesn't bark and is so very cute!! She has the prettiest green eyes ever. She adopted her from the Ohio Pregnant Mother's Dog Rescue.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I don't watch the feeds, Petals, so maybe. That's why I said it COULD suck going forward. But I really don't see any opposition because the others have not identified the core alliance.

Sure some of them want to go after Dan and Britney and some want to go after Shane. But those same people trust Ian and they aren't exactly all together. Maybe Jenn and Frank will try to work together. Joe is a total floater. Danielle is half working with Shane. And Ashley? She's no help.

So who's the opposition and do they even know who they are opposing?

    ReplyDelete
  113. meb, last night was good!

    ReplyDelete
  114. Petals, it really isn't speculation. He has lawsuits pending all over the place and could get some prison time out of it.

Tomorrow is Brit's Birthday so we should all lift our glass and chug to the b-day girl. She makes us laugh and giggle even after I was ragging on her a few weeks ago.

    Cheers to Britney!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Oh wait. Take that back Becky. I just realized which one I had as my avatar. That is my mini-doxie, Trey. He's quite the character.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Oh wait. Take that back Becky. I just realized which one I had as my avatar. That is my mini-doxie, Trey. He's quite the character.

    ReplyDelete
  117. The line is drawn, Joe. It is Froogie & Ashley against Dan, Delusionielle, Shane, Brit, Joe & Jenn.
    Ian is playing both sides.
It is Dysfunction Junction in the house now, very tense.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Here's to the Birthday Girl! Bottoms Up!

    ReplyDelete
  119. Do people really dress like Jen?

    ReplyDelete
  120. Boogie just heard the door slam behind him.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I'd keep my eye on Ian if I were them. Something tells me not only does he want to win the $ but also wants to be a famous BB gamer.

Having Boogie & say Dan on his resume might go a long way towards that.

If he can pull it off kudos to him!

    ReplyDelete
  122. fingers crossed for a Froogie dismissal tomorrow!

    YIKES!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  123. See you all Thursday! Hope Boogie goes.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Hahahaha, as I said who doesn't love Ian? I do

    ReplyDelete
  125. Jenn finally did something.

    ReplyDelete
  126. That's the fastest hour in television!

    Thanks Jackie! Nite all!

    ReplyDelete
  127. You know we won't get to see a whole lot of the fireworks on tomorrow night's show. They have to cram everything into that one hour. Drats!

    ReplyDelete
  128. One more day of putting up with Bully. I would like to remind everyone to use their inside voice when we cheer. We don't want Jackie being evicted by us being very loud.

    See you tomorrow.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Becky - she is a rocker, was in a band - kinda punk,I guess. Punk 2012 style? She also has a female life partner, they are monogamous.

    ReplyDelete
  130. Bringing a fire extinguisher tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  131. Thanks, Jackie. Keep those writeups coming. They have everything. Wonder if they will show Dani molesting Shande tomorrow? That girl is desparate!

    ReplyDelete
  132. Well that was fun. Can't wait to see Boogie when Julie lets the cat out of the bag, or the squirrel. You know she's going to drop that on him.

See all of you fine folks tomorrow night. Thanks Jackie for hosting us!

    ReplyDelete
  133. Thanks for coming by everybody! Tomorrow should be good TV!

    ReplyDelete
  134. Hi Jackie

I look forward to all your posts everyday, and want to thank you. very much.
