Big Brother 14: Shane Eviction Fallout, Season Reflection Show Blog Party - Sept. 16

BB12 Blogo 3

Apparently CBS is just now learning its lessons -- due to sports, the show is scheduled to begin at 8:30 PM ET here in the NYC viewing area. I'm putting this post up at the regular time as I know folks look for it and the show might be on time in other viewing markets.

Once it finally starts here, I'll update this post with the major events. I don't believe they'll be showing the two parts of the HoH comp already played, but I might be wrong on that. If you don't know and want to know, go back a few days in my posts and you'll find out.

The real fun is in the comments section. Come join us dissing ... er ... DISCUSSING ... the show!

8:36 PM ET and 60 Minutes just ended here. I'm ready for the show, how 'bout YOU?

It's the aftermath of the Shane eviction. Silly Danielle. "Dan lied AGAIN."

Celebration champagne brunch time ... and reflection time, too.

Finally, all the reminiscing is over and they're starting the Hook, Line and Sinker endurance comp. We know how it and part two end, but that won't be aired until Wednesday.

  1. Hey, Jackie and everyone. Does anyone know where you can watch the show on line? Our CBS station is off the air for some reason.

  2. Becky = Google Big Brother east coast feed and you should come up with something

  3. Hi Jackie and all,
Shows BB coming on at 7pm here in MTN time. :)

The info below was post (on Jokers) a few minutes ago and I think it says how Dan's mind works:

Dan talking to himself while cutting up the meat, says he is cutting up the meat like he is cutting up the last 2 house guests and says, "I just don't get how people can not just take this as a game."

    ReplyDelete
  4. Oh, it's just a game to you and to me. But I know it would be possibly life-changing if we were in the house. It actually is more than just a game to them ... it's a part of their lives. While I can say hands down, Dan played everyone very well, it does bother me that he's as cruel about it as he is at times and it doesn't seem to bother him at all.

  5. Becky, even though it was already scheduled for 8:30, is 60 minutes running on schedule? Just curious. At least this isn't going to be a nail biter.

    ReplyDelete
  6. I meant Jackie... I was saying Hi to the two of you and got sidetracked.

Hi Becky, Hi Jackie... is it running on time?

    That's better.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Thanks, Jackie, I will do that. I am CBS never did send me the information to reset my password, so I couldn't vote for the Fan Favorite.
After watching the previous shows I do think that Ian has a form of autism and perhaps Asperger's syndrome. The way he rocks, his clinging to his stuffed animals and his frustration with being locked in the house sure points that way.
I just finished reading a book that was recommended in People Magazine. It is Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend by Matthew Dicks. The book was rather prodding at first but after his teacher kidnapped him and the imaginary friend started trying to locate him and help him escape it captured my interest.

  8. Hey Sharon... Dan really is surprising me this year. I heard him say that 'this is a lot harder than the first time'.

He really needs to get some of that Xanax Danielle may or may not be taking.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Interesting follow-on of Dan's convo to himself (while alone in KT). Somehow, he must have found out (BB?) that some of his fans are upset??

5:16 PM BBT Dan alone in the kitchen cutting up meat and says "I'm sorry to my fans who are disapointed in how I've been playing this season. I'm just trying to win a game".

Dan apologizes to any of his supporters he has disappointed this year since he has played a more ruthless game. Says it's all business.

There you have it... Dan's brain says this game isn't personal. It's just business to him. A sales job if you will.

  10. 60 minutes started about 7 minutes late.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Ah, I didn't know that 60 Minutes started late, thanks MikesGirl!

As for Dan, I do think he realizes how nasty and ruthless he's played the game this season. Not that he'll change it, but somewhere inside, he feels bad.

  12. Jackie,
I actually think it does bother him... now. It may not have bothered him right away, but now that it's getting to the end, I think he has some regrets cropping up as it becomes more apparent at least 1 of the 3 of them is going to be disillusioned and hurt.

As much as I dislike Danielle, I can't wish that kind of pain on anyone... despite the fact that she doesn't seem to mind doing some inflicting of her own.

Much more concerning will be if Ian gets hurt. He's a good kid and he'd like to do responsible things with the money.

  13. Hi all...waiting on the show to start here on the east coast,so I'd like to take minute once again to say THANK YOU JACKIE for all your hard work and keeping us entertained and informed. This place here makes the season worth watching!

  14. ~~~SPLASH~~~ Hi everyone! This time I'm here. I didn't peek in Thursday because I was so certain Ian would be voted out, I just couldn't watch. I missed all the fun!!!!

    Penny

  15. I made it on time. Yay!

Dan's being a jerk, and that is coming from a pure fan of his... me.

    Ready to watch the fallout.

    SPLASH

    ReplyDelete
  16. I am with Cheryl. Thank you, Jackie for hosting us.

I would be more upset if I couldn't come here than I am for missing the show on TV.

Even when I was at Momma's I made time for my visits here.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Haha, I bet we have seen them! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  18. YAY, we all might be watching at the same time tonight!! 20 more minutes here and show time. :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hi Beckie, Penny, Cheryl and Jackie. I dove right in without saying hi to you all.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I wouldn't be surprised if Ian didn't have Asbergers. It's a high level Autism; and many super smart people have it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Notice how she obeys him just like a little puppy. SIT DOWN, and down she went.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Penny, does it really matter if he has Asberger's or is just ADHD, which he has acknowledged? Not being mean, just wondering why everyone wants to diagnose him. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Lol...at Danielle..true dat

    ReplyDelete
  24. Dani's Crater9/16/2012 8:45 PM

Finally! We agree! you're a dumbass.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Ding, ding, ding... we have a winner and then he goes on to fool you another time to drop in the HOH. What a ditz. And I thought my pool girl was flakey, ugh!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I actually like Ian as he is. I just hope he really starts playing for him. They need to boot Dan. And, if talking to himself makes him go all out to win this game - GO IAN!!!

Don't listen to him Dani!!! Dang!

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  27. Poor Danielle forgets he is not a coach anymore but the competition

    Cheryl

  28. Monty, I was not being ugly when I said what I did. I admire Ian for his brain. I feel for him at times. I broke my heart to see him rocking back and forth in the chair last Thursday. I wanted to put my arms around him and comfort him.

    ReplyDelete
  29. When I menntioned Ian previously, it was only because of the book I had just finished.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Me, too, Becky. I think he needs to be doing something all the time. It's got to be maddening not having items to stimulate the brain. I think rocking would be very soothing.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Becky, I know that. I know people here aren't like that, but it's just a knee jerk reaction with me. I don't think it makes any difference at all and Ian has himself said that "No, he doesn't". It's all good though. :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. Making it look like they didn't even play the HoH the night before.

    ReplyDelete
  33. That's when they all still loved each other, lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. Okay, guys, what is happening? I am sitting here with a dead TV station.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I might add, though. There is nothing wrong with having Asperger's Syndrome. People with it have to work harder at people skills because they are so intelligent, they do not know how to interact.

I love his doggy outfit - leash and all. LOL

Ian tends to do really well socializing though.

My daughter has Aspergers and she had a horrible time socializing in school. It wasn't until she went to college did she do much better. Now, she's like a social butterfly.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Dan's toast was blah, blah, blah and 'everybody gets what's coming to them'. HA!

    ReplyDelete
  37. They are showing when every one came in to the house. And how they are reacting to each other and things that happen in the house.

They are reminiscing about everyone. Mike read the Bible!!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Boogie's Bible readings were funny. He would associate it with houseguests and usually found the perfect passage when he was looking for one.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Britney stomping Ted was the highlight of the season for me!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. And Britney beat up (then hugged) Big Ted.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Great social game there, Frank. Britney was right.

    ReplyDelete
  42. And she apologized for biting his ear. Still makes me smile!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Yeah, Frank didn't know when to shut up.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Wow, Willie was nuts, wasn't he? Geesh! Dumb *s*

    ReplyDelete
  45. Responding to the commercial -- No. No, I don't have what it takes to be in the Big Brother House. I have enough trouble in real life without being a national mockery, thank you very much.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Becky, did you find a site on line to watch it?

    ReplyDelete
  47. He was, Penny. I still loved Russell in Survivor, but the rest of his family is not nearly as entertaining and really dimwitted.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I didn't like Russell, but he had a better social game than Willie. However, if you tried to one up Russell, he'd target you; and you would lose.

    ReplyDelete
  49. They're not going to do much in tonight's episode, are they?

    ReplyDelete
  50. Dani's Crater9/16/2012 9:14 PM

Romances CAN be rocky when only one person is actually participating.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Ian is so cute! He'll have a lot of women after him once this is over! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  52. I feel like I have just wasted 45 minutes of my life with this episode. The previews made it seem like we would see the first part of the final HoH, but it seems like its just a season recap.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The look on his face - organic and inorganic.
    LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  54. I love you IAN <3

Just had to say it again :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. I agree, Penny. He makes the best faces in and out of the DR.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Frank, shut up. You never shut up.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Anon, we will see it but it will just be the start of it. Remember, CBS is trying to make it out like it didn't happen Thursday night. :)

    ReplyDelete
  58. Ian is so sweet, he doesn't even know how to argue... and that's a compliment.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Penny, no, but it sounds like just a recap show from what I read.

I did find a site where I can watch after it is over. I will do that tomorrow.

    Thanks for asking.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I adore Ian. I agree that he will be a hit once he gets out of the BB house.

Jackie, I am with you. No way I would be on a national TV reality show. Well, let me clarify that statement.... unless it was a shopping one where you get X # of $$ and have to put together an outfit.

    ReplyDelete
  61. It seems as though most of the people here have also been misted by Dan

    ReplyDelete
  62. I can't believe they are replaying Dan's speech. And, they fell for it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Dani's Crater9/16/2012 9:30 PM

btw...Dan's not only one of the best players in BB history, but has should win an emmy for that performance.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Dani's Crater9/16/2012 9:32 PM

Dannielle & her stupidity was only a 2nd in entertainment value to Rachel/Ragan.

    ReplyDelete
  65. If CBS doesn't show Dani from last night on Wednesday's show I will be ticked off. America (the non-feeders) need to see what a witch she can be.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Come on IAN!!!!

Did the feeds give any idea who won this? This isn't live is it?

    ReplyDelete
  67. Intense comp. That dunking part would suck -- and the slamming into walls -- and the rain--- and having to hang on to a string sitting on a fish hook...

    ReplyDelete
  68. Penny -- I updated it as it happened right here on this blog.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Dang. Well, I want to know who wins HOH NOW!!!

See everyone Wednesday. Thank you Jackie!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Go back and check the posts I made since Thursday's show. Part two is over with, too.

    ReplyDelete
  71. GOT TO GO LOOK!!! Can't believed I missed it, Jackie. Thank you. Or should I not look....???

    ReplyDelete
  72. Most boring episode of the season.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Look, Penny. You'll be happy, I believe. Not with the first part so much, but the second. The third is played out on the live finale.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Thanks, Jackie! See everyone later.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hope our TV station is up by Wed. It sounds like I didn't miss any action tonight.

    See you Wed.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Thanks for coming by even if the show was a dud! They could have spruced it up with more jury house or something!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Kind of fun seeing some of the better action again, but wish they showed more of the current stuff.

  79. Well, I don't know why I didn't do it before, but went back to read Jackie's blog. GO IAN. BEAT DAN!!!!!!

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  80. Go dan. Beat Ian.

    ReplyDelete
  81. I've never been locked in a house (and freaked out), but as far as rocking goes...I do it too. Okay, maybe not to the extrent of Ian, but as I sit here reading the blog I must admit I'm rocking back in forth in my chair. Just a few inches back and forth. And I rock myself to sleep. So if you have a diagnosis - feel free to share.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Lol, Anon 1058. I have to admit that I did a bit of rocking when the feeds came back up last night. I was really heated, ticked off at Danielle raging on Ian and instead of taking a chill pill I sat in the recliner and rocked for a while. It works for sure. I got over it in record time. :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. Dani is sure working on Ian now. doing a serious guilt trip. Sort of capitulating that her game is over, but then not really because she's trying to make him believe he's better off taking her instead of Dan.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Poor Ian.
    Dani really worked him over.
Said if Dan evicts her, she will still vote for him because she knows the kind of person he is. But if Ian evicts her, she'll tell everyone to vote against Ian because he turned against everything everyone thought of him. @@

Ian rocking and saying something about "bitter." Keeps rocking and just now said, "I don't respond to threats. End of story. Done."

    Good for him!!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Wish someone was up watching BBAD.
Ian is absolutely priceless tonight, now swinging and saying, "Playing the game with children. Cowardly, extremely cowardly." LMAO
