Big Brother 15: MVP Nomination, PoV Show Blog Party - 7/17

Ready to party? It's the MVP and PoV show blog party! As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news. I'd like to thank the blog readers, Shannon in particular, for helping with the updates for the last episode!

As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun! Swimming suits optional, beverages a must!

Elissa got the MVP again. What a shocker!

The plan is to backdoor Jeremy. They want to put up either Spencer or Howard as MVP. McCrae and Amanda want Elissa to do the dirty work and put up Howard while she wants to go for Spencer.

PoV Players and MVO nomination -- Nominated - Spencer. Players - GinaMarie, Candice. Backdoor in motion! Judd is the host.

Veto comp time! Hmm ... works of art in the yard. They each bounce on a trampoline to see artworks "next door." Then they have to copy the wall in their own home. Famous paintings with hamster heads. This is a timed comp.

Candice - 8.46
GM - 8.56
Spencer - 12.19
Aaryn - 9.50
Kaitlin - 7.09
Helen - 8.55

Kaitlin wins PoV! But will she use it? She knows the backdoor Jeremy plan and Amanda told her that she would go home instead of Aaryn if she doesn't save herself.

PoV Ceremony time -- Kaitlin does indeed save herself. Helen does indeed put Jeremy on the block.

  1. Hi all -- hope you are avoiding the heat!

  2. Love the BIG disclaimer now, lol.

    Hey Jackie and Sharon S. It is so freaking hot here so I'm diving in to the deep end.

    ~~~~~SPLASH~~~~~
    ReplyDelete
  3. Hi everyone! I brought grilled hamburger sliders
    ReplyDelete
  4. Did anyone else do the voting this afternoon for titles for the Head of Household comp? I did, and found that there were a couple people I didn't choose at all. I think I could have come up with some better titles!
    ReplyDelete
  5. Yummy lynn1. I have a tub of Coors Light, Bud Light and Miller Lite over at the bar. Everyone help themselves.
    ReplyDelete
  6. Hey, Joe. How's the little girl doing?
    ReplyDelete
  7. Hey, Jackie, Sharon, Monty, Lynn. I brought chips, dip and a promise NOT to drink every time GM cries.
    ReplyDelete
  8. She's doing pretty well. Slight limp, that's all. The heat is making both dogs very uncomfortable.
    ReplyDelete
  9. The result of a lifetime of mommy & daddy telling you how beautiful & wonderful you are?
    Aryan.
    ReplyDelete
  10. SPLASH! There is captain and coke on the table as well salsa and chips!!
    ReplyDelete
  11. I did, Sharon -- same thoughts.
    ReplyDelete
  12. Good news, Joe. This heat is hard on my Boston too. He doesn't want to dilly dally when he goes out like he usually does. It's pee or poop and run back to the door.
    ReplyDelete
  13. She uses tears to manipulate her children?!
    ReplyDelete
  14. Hey Becky, JimmieB and Brenda. Grab a drink. We'll see crying tonight for sure, lol. Helen is in a race with GM to see who cries the most.
    DRINKING
    ReplyDelete
  15. SharonS, I bet she has the most well behaved children on the block. She doesn't miss much of anything going on. Sort of like my Mom did, lol.
    ReplyDelete
  16. Howard's just a little....full of it.
    ReplyDelete
  17. Howard doesn't sound at all sincere in that apology
    ReplyDelete
  18. Howard is a hunk but he is shady
    ReplyDelete
  19. Monty - I'm sure her children toe the line!
    ReplyDelete
  20. This was when Amanda lost her mind. The plan didn't go to her liking.
    ReplyDelete
  21. McC is like a little kid squirming in that chair.
    ReplyDelete
  22. Becky, I love me some McCrae :))
    ReplyDelete
  23. Amanda isn't very flexible
    ReplyDelete
  24. Jimmy and Joe, I agree with you. Howard has lost a lot of his appeal for me.
    ReplyDelete
  25. She isn't lynn, but I really think that she's the most strategic one in there. Her and McCrae and really playing this game like chess. They're thinking ahead, but not too far ahead, sort of like ED did. My only problem with her is she gets hot headed when everyone else doesn't want to play HER game. She needs to chill when things don't go her way.
    ReplyDelete
  26. Lol, the first peep out of Arayn tonight.
    ReplyDelete
  27. I don't know which is worse a house full of testosterone or a bunch of crying women
    ReplyDelete
  28. It s very interesting to see how the show edits these scenes.
    ReplyDelete
  29. Love, love, love the look on Elissa face when Jerm's name didn't come out of the bag.
    ReplyDelete
  30. We have had two very wonderful days. It has been raining and in the low 80's. I have spent a lot of time on the porch.
    ReplyDelete
  31. Agree, Dramahold. Case in point... Kaitlins last DR was the day of the veto meeting. It was already in stone then.
    ReplyDelete
  32. Oh Becky, I'm jealous. It is hot and humid, humid, humid here. I don't mind the heat, but the humidity kicks my butt.
    ReplyDelete
  33. Shouldn't GMs job title be either "unemployed" or "former pageant coordinator"?
    ReplyDelete
  34. So was Elissa's DR comments because the show didn't want Howard nominated?
    ReplyDelete
  35. We've certainly seen our share of incredibly immature houseguest over the years.
    I'd say a 32 year old acting like a 13 year old wins the prize.
    ReplyDelete
  36. Amanda is a bully and mean girl too. And she will throw Mcrea to the wolves sooner or later. The house better wake up.
    ReplyDelete
  37. The only problem with Jeremy going home is we don't get to see Julie tell Aryan she's been fired.
    ReplyDelete
  38. I heard on the news that the East is getting hammered with the heat.
    ReplyDelete
  39. ooops - almost missed the show and the party.
    ReplyDelete
  40. Amanda and McRae as a couple just doesn't make sense. They seem soooooo different.
    ReplyDelete
  41. Amanda's head is in the game.
    ReplyDelete
  42. Amanda has good strategy but she's too blunt and demanding when she talks with others.
    ReplyDelete
  43. That looks hard -- to pay attention while jumping.
    Love what she just said about Jeremy!
    ReplyDelete
  44. I agree, Drama. That could hurt her game. She's gotta know her audience.
    ReplyDelete
  45. Aaryn didn't get many right! lol
    ReplyDelete
  46. Oh, Aaryn, you are such a creap.
    ReplyDelete
  47. Hey, Petals. Better late than never. Grab a drink and a slider.
    ReplyDelete
  48. Joe - Eventually we will get to see Julie tell both those little rags that they are unemployed.
    ReplyDelete
  49. I knew this would be hilarious watching Spencer on the trampoline, LOL
    ReplyDelete
  50. mmmmm! I need a cool one!
    ReplyDelete
  51. Don't like Katelyn...but she's a fierce competitor.
    ReplyDelete
  52. I really despise Gone Mental. Any woman that is that wackadoodledoo really unnerves me.
    ReplyDelete
  53. GinaMaria is so creepy with her obsession over Nick!
    ReplyDelete
  54. She was a beast on this one.
    ReplyDelete
  55. Oops... Lets just say GM :)
    ReplyDelete
  56. I'll tell you - I love Amanda. She is in-your-face, but that girl is running this game. She isn't afraid to call-out that KKKrew when they were bullying Jess, which I love.
    Amanda is too much woman for McC, tho.
    ReplyDelete
  57. She really did smoke them all on that one.
    ReplyDelete
  58. Jax - do you have power? Are we attending the memorial service Friday? I think we should serve Cocoa Puff.
    ReplyDelete
  59. On the feeds Amanda's mouth was just as bad as the other girls. So was Spencer's .
    ReplyDelete
  60. Petals, you are right -- Amanda is too strong for McCrae...then again, it might be what they both need.
    ReplyDelete
  61. Me too, Petals and agree that McCrae is out of his league with Amanda. But they're cute together and really take the game serious. I love them :))
    ReplyDelete
  62. blech, Jerm is so nasty. Can't wait to see him leave.
    It is hilarious that he considers himself a "champ", and "all-star".
    Delusional, table for one!
    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes, I have power or I wouldn't be here! I don't know about the Nick memorial service -- it might conflict with my own real job! I seem to recall it's 7pm their time which is 4pm here. I don't get home that early.
    ReplyDelete
  64. Jeremy is slimier than slime.
    ReplyDelete
  65. Jerm makes me sick talking about Cherokee charm. he is an embarrassment to those of is who have Cherokee blood
    ReplyDelete
  66. I think Amanda is a Scorp and McC is a Cancer, which is a great match.
    ReplyDelete
  67. Jeremy is an embarrassment to anyone who has blood.
    ReplyDelete
  68. Jackie, it may be the heat, but 7 pm their time, is 10 pm East Coast....
    ReplyDelete
  69. I'm 1/16 Cherokee, we even have a tribal # (which basically means that my brother & I qualify for 40 acres & a mule on a reservation in Oklahoma, LOL)
    Jerm is an embarrassment to Cherokee, to men, to guys who like boats...
    Listen to him bloviate. He is disgusting. Acne-faced, knuckle-dragging, unemployed, Gilligan loser!!!!
    ReplyDelete
  70. I dislike that K-Mart ad!
    ReplyDelete
  71. I may just hurl right here in the pool. Jerm is pure poison.
    ReplyDelete
  72. If it is 7 on the west coast isn't it 10 on the east coast?
    ReplyDelete
  73. Now Petals, why bring poor Gilligan into it? He was much more charming than Jeremy!
    ReplyDelete
  74. Anon - D'oh. A mind is a terrible thing to lose.
    ReplyDelete
  75. Drama - you're new, so do you mind me asking, are you male or female?
    (no, it shouldnt matter, but I just like to know a little but about everyone, cuz I am just nosy that way :P)
    ACK, my skins is crawling from Jerm. How how how how does he think he is badass? What game is he playing?
    ReplyDelete
  76. Sharon, I was thinking the same thing.
    ReplyDelete
  77. LOL, you're right Sharon. I just couldnt think of another gangly stupid sailor guy. Gilligan was sweet, yeah.
    ReplyDelete
  78. Kaitlin it's tough noogies for you
    ReplyDelete
  79. Barnacle Bill!!!! That's Germ. But who cares, he is gone soon.
    thanks Drama.
    Hey - will we have a drinking word tomorrow?
    ReplyDelete
  80. Luckily, he'll be gone this week, so we won't have to figure out a better sailor name for him!
    I'm glad Kaitlin didn't do the stupid mushy-I'm-in-love thing and stay on the block.
    ReplyDelete
  81. Good job, Helen! My Dude Jeremy, LOL
    ReplyDelete
  82. Helen was saucy when putting Jeremy up. Nice!
    ReplyDelete
  83. OT - I've tried several of Jamie Kern's iT cosmetic products, and they are great! Especially love her brow pencil and her under eye concealer.
    (she was the pageant queen from season one)
    ReplyDelete
  84. This was a TRUE backdoor and I love it. Nakomis, you were a genius in S5!!!
    ReplyDelete
  85. Thanks for having us Jackie. See everyone tomorrow night!
    ReplyDelete
  86. Thanks Jackie! Can't wait to see that arse walk out the door tomorrow
    ReplyDelete
  87. I will see all of you tomorrow night. I am going to go sit on the back porch and enjoy the cool. Thanks, Jackie. Give Vincent a bit of catnip for being such a good kitty during the show.
    ReplyDelete
  88. Thanks Jackie for the party. See you fine folks later.
    ReplyDelete
  89. Thanks Jackie - hope it is cooling off for you in your pad. Thank goodness you have this pool in which to jump when the heat gets too much.
    Feel free to use my leopard floatie. It is is comfy-momfy. :)
    ReplyDelete
  90. (rub it in, Becky hehehee)
    ReplyDelete
  91. Thanks for coming by everyone!
    ReplyDelete
  92. Something about the way Helen is using her week of HOH is irritating. She's getting a little big-headed, I hope one of her alliance win HOH next week.
    ReplyDelete
  93. Anon 9:27
    I agree. IMO, Helen has been a huge disappointment this week.
    Not only has she been running amok with a huge HOH fat-head, but she can't keep her mouth SHUT about her alliance(s). It's bugging me enough that I hope she's taken out soon after Jeremy/Kaitlyn/Aryan.
    I can't believe so many people are looking at getting out Howard before Kaitlyn, and she's WAY more dangerous.
    ReplyDelete
  94. Missed the party yet again. Will try extra hard to make it on time tomorrow!
    ReplyDelete
  95. IMO,Helen is the strongest player in the game right now. She' a political consultant in Chicago (AKA getting people to what she wants},very bright and extremely physically fit.
    ReplyDelete
  96. I look forward to watching it but my daughter wants to watch a movie so I will watch it tomorrow or after midnight if CBS is on the ball :-D
    ReplyDelete
  97. I don't think we know what a threat Howard is because he has not played to his potential. He is throwing comps
    ReplyDelete
  98. uncartie -
    It's a bit mind-boggling to watch Helen. She appears to be even stronger than Howard (amazed), however, she won HOH in a mental game. Maybe not doing particularly well in physical challenges is part of her plan?
    However, HOH does seem to have gone to her head and it appears that she wants all the hamsters to be friends. Has she been talking too much to people like Jeremy, as part of her game? It could be a smart move... or her alliance might decide her big-mouth is too dangerous and dump her asap.
    I was worried over all the crying she was doing over Spencer and Howard's lies (they all lie), but she fessed up tonight the crying was on purpose. Incredibly, everyone is believing the "I trusted you and you've lied to me" tears.
    ---------------
    Sharon,She probably threw the earlier ones wanting to see how the house was going to align itself. Winning HOH early puts a target on you. I think certain physicals like the one where they have to hang on to handles or endurance is where she'll stand out.
    Classic Chicago wheeling and dealing. Schmooze with everybody and eventually they all roll over.
    Classic manipulation. She made Spencer & Howard confess to her and made herself look like the victim.
