Survivor: San Juan Del Sur Blood vs. Water - October 22 Blog Party
It seems like the merge will be on tonight, adding a new dynamic to the show. I personally think people are going to try to break apart couples before they go for individuals. But I guess we'll see.
As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news. As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join us!
Before we get going, here's the latest on the blog pool standings from the Lovely Lifeguard Laurie:
Coyopa
Alec = Karen in Case, Merrilee
Baylor = Glenn, maquinn78, Sharon S
Dale = Brian, Margo
Jaclyn = CYW Coleman, rbennie
Josh = crob61, Rochelle, Jackie
Wes = Buzzmaam, ORKMommy, sanra
Hunahpu
Jeremy = Becky, Nana in the NW
Jon M = Donna in Alabama, Laurie
Julie = Donna NY, meb
Keith = Donna in FL, PDX Granny
Kelley = Babs Dud, ML, Russ
Missy = Ed in Ohio, Monty924, Sharon N
Natalie = Jennasmom, Kelsey NY
Reed = David, Kathy, Lynn1
Out: Nadiya
Val = Brenda, Nickelpeed
John R = Cheryl NC, MikesGirl, Terry in TX
Drew = Delee, Petals, SueGee
Survivor fans ready?
They head to the arena where Alec finds out that Drew was voted out. Shock abounds in the Coyopa tribe.
"Drop your buffs."
Sure enough, the pairs are already looked upon as targets.
It's not the merge -- just a reshuffling. (Probably because Coyopa sucked so badly.)
Coyopa has three pairs of loved ones plus Keith.
Josh and Reid are with singles on Hunahpu.
Jeremy is sure Josh and Reid will target him. John and Jaclyn like to smooch a lot. Keith is happy that he has the idol to protect him. Jeremy and Natalie work to sway Alec to stay with the singles against Josh and Reid.
Dale is getting backlashing for keeping an eye on the rice from Missy. She also has heard that Dale wanted her daughter out. Uh-oh ... a rice war about to go down! Meanwhile, Dale's daughter is worried her father will rub people the wrong way. Too bad; he already has.
Hunahpu is almost out of food. Maybe that's why they were winning challenges!
Immunity challenge time -- finding keys buried in sand, racing through mud, retrieving sandbags, throwing them on a wobbly platform. Um. Okay.
Hunahpu crushed Coyopa in the challenge. Nowhere even close!
Jeff said he'd come to the Hunahpu camp to discuss the food situation. That should be interesting.
Keith is the obvious target for tonight. But maybe that can be swung around against Missy? Or Baylor? As things go about, it looks like Keith might actually be safe.
The couples on the tribe are adding a new dynamic in Tribal. The Dale and Baylor brouhaha lives on!
Time to tally the votes. Keith does not use the idol --
Baylor, Kelley, Baylor, Kelley, Dale, Dale, Kelley.
Dale's daughter Kelley is out. Hmm.
Hi Jackie and everyone else who joins in
ReplyDeleteI feel like the lone ranger over here
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn and Jackie!
ReplyDeletePetals is being a party pooper tonight. Something about the World Series, LOL
~~~SPLASH~~~
Looking forward to the switch up tonight.
ReplyDeleteHi Monty
ReplyDeleteI am sure KC is going wild that they are in the world series
ReplyDeleteIt always kills me when the other tribe looks so shocked. Drew was as good a vote off as any of them.
ReplyDeleteI'm rooting for KC. I wouldn't have rooted for St. Louis or San Fran no matter who made it in, LOL!
ReplyDeletePersonally I am glad they got rid of Drew he was an arrogant jerk
ReplyDeleteHi Folks.
ReplyDeleteWhen will people learn to not throw challenges. Drew has to go down as one of the dumbest players ever.
Monty I am with you I am cheering for KC an would never ever cheer for St Louis
ReplyDeleteHi Joe
ReplyDeleteHey Joe... I agree with you and Lynn. Drew brought that on himself. Never throw a tribe immunity challenge... ever, ever, ever.
ReplyDeleteNot the merge!
ReplyDeleteThis will be interesting. I can't wait to see how Missy and Baylor work together.
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of odd how this swap turned out.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone!
ReplyDeleteNot a merge but a 'mix-up'?!
All pairs with one single, & all singles with one pair. Hhmm?
ReplyDeletePoor Wes... I hope Keith will be okay with all the couples on the other tribe.
ReplyDeleteHey Ed
ReplyDeleteHi Ed
ReplyDeleteI wonder if due to the edit Jon Or Jacquelyn may be going home tonight
ReplyDeleteHi Monty & Lynn! I too am 4 KC Royals.
ReplyDeletePetals would be so happy to know so many of her pool buds are for KC
ReplyDeleteKeith will USE the idol if he needs to. Here's hoping, but I don't think he's in trouble. The other couples, especially Baylor will target a person in a twosome. She's sneaky
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone. Rainy humid night here.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy. Gloomy weather here too
ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure Alec is like Drew. That could be a fatal strategy there.
ReplyDeleteIt has been wonderful here in the 80's during the day and the 60's at night without the oppressive humidity
ReplyDeleteI am lurking until I get home.
ReplyDeletePenny
Missy, you idiot. That's why your tribe was running out of rice with 20+ days to go.
ReplyDeletehi Kathy and Penny
ReplyDeleteLooks like Missy is 'overstepping' a bit with the rice. Hope my pool mom is not the next target!
ReplyDeleteHey Penny. I'm thinking my pool girl Missy won't be around for long especially if Dale has anything to say about it!
ReplyDeleteYea Monty Dale is not a happy camper with our pool girl.
ReplyDeleteCan't say that I blame him, Ed... LOL
ReplyDeletedale needs to remember the loud mouth often gets his torch snuffed
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that we are just seeing this now this week. The tribe that was winning everything was almost out of food and we knew nothing about it.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteHope Keith's safe!!!
ReplyDeleteThese challenges sure aren't very competitive!!
ReplyDeleteAnother Survivor first, LOL
ReplyDeleteNot very entertaining to see one team win before the other team even gets to the tossing part
ReplyDeleteI find it hard to believe that production didn't know that the one team was about out of rice
ReplyDeleteThe spam comment was what was removed. Not quite the proper place to spam for jobs online.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't seem like they're doing much about going out for food -- fruits, crabs and such.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie and I agree about not really looking for food. Whatever happened to looking for crabs? Other tribes have done that in other seasons.
ReplyDeleteMother & Daughter combos don't seem to do well on these Blood vs Water shows.
ReplyDeleteThese people @@
ReplyDeleteI like Keith more and more each week
ReplyDeleteKeith's in a pretty good position. He can be the swing vote to break up the couples.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone =)
ReplyDeleteJust woke up from a nap in time to watch the show here and clean up any scraps you leave behind. =)
I really don't like Baylor, but I think Dale could be going tonight.
ReplyDeleteDAMN
ReplyDeleteWOW! Didn't see that coming!!
ReplyDeleteI don't agree with that vote at all
ReplyDeleteDale is going to be one miserable dude on that tribe now.
ReplyDeleteLynn, I think that tribe is cursed with idiocy
ReplyDeleteI believe Jon and jacquelyn will regret choosing to go with Baylor and Missy
ReplyDelete... and that leads back to Baylor. jmo
ReplyDeleteWho voted for who?
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. See all of you next Wed. night
ReplyDeleteGood Night All! Thanks Jackie!
ReplyDeleteWow, Jacklyn was the final nail. I think they made a mistake.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie. See all you fine folks next week. Won't be able to watch TAR on Friday. I have some Halloween things calling my name, LOL.
Looks like this will be interesting =)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie =)
I saw Jaclyn voted for Kelly. I was distracted and missed most of it. Dale voted Baylor, but we could have figured that. Anyone pay attention to it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteThey are going to be sorry for keeping Baylor and Missy together. Both are very domineering.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be there Friday and next Wednesday, but College Basketball starts up and I'm working. Dang....
Penny
My pool girl is Baylor. I am surprized that she was not voted out. I think the tribe will regret voting out Kelly. I am surprized that Keith has not looked for the other idol.
ReplyDeleteGlenn
The votes were:
ReplyDeleteKeith - Dale
Baylor - Kelly
Missy - Kelly
John - Dale
Jaclyn - Kelly
Dale - Baylor
Kelly - Baylor
From the look on that tribes face talking to Jeff I wonder if the price of more rice will be an automatic trip to tribal. That would be a tough decision.
