The Amazing Race 25 - October 31 Episode

Happy Halloween, folks! I'm anticipating few to attend this blog party due to Halloween plans. But, if you do come by, stop in the comments section! As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest!

Michael & Scott - Donna in FL, Glenn, Jackie, Marlo
Keith & Whitney - Jean, Jennasmom, Nana in NW, PDXGranny

Ready for the race?

Kym and Alli leave the Pit Stop first -- have to deliver hay with a horse-drawn carriage, reward the horses with an apple each, and then get their 'product placement' vehicle. Ah, good. Bethany and Adam have pulled into the lead.

But Kym and Alli get to the next clue first. Detour -- Camp, set up a camp to exact specifications. Cream has them milking a goat and making butter with the milk. Rats. Misti and Jim are there.

Oh geez. Jim and Misti are the first through the Detour. Grr. Shelley and Nici are totally lost and are the only team who hasn't made it to the Detour.

Roadblock -- Teams have to go over canyons on ziplines and swinging bridges and solving a puzzle.

Jim and Misti are heading to Casbah Dif, the Pit Stop. Oh my gosh. Bethany chose to do the Roadblock despite having one arm. Yikes!

Pit Stop--
1. Jim and Misti - Won a trip to Brazil
2. Adam and Bethany
3. Kym and Alli
4. Tim and Te Jay
5. Brooke and Robbie
6. Amy and Maya
7. Shelley and Nici

And, they have been Philiminated

  1. Hi. I'll be lurking, as usual. It's Soooo cold here, and rain is predicted, so we've had very few kids around. I gave up and turned out the porch lights.

  2. Finally remembered the race on tonight

  3. Hi Jackie and everyone else who shows up. I will try to keep up with the show and the comments if the invading hoard of trick or treaters gives me a break. They literally truck in dozens if not hundreds of kids into our neighborhood

  4. Hi everyone. Thank you for hosting, Jackie. Hi Vincent, scritch, scritch ears.

    Penny

  5. Hi, guys! It's very chilly here, too, Silk. I don't think it's raining yet, though. I haven't had a trick or treater at this apartment in 13 years even though there are kids in the building.

  6. I am sad that Keith and Whitney were taken out.

However, my pool picks are doing great. I'm rooting for Adam and Bethany, but Go Ali and Kym!! My pool picks!

  7. Hi Jackie, Silk, Lynn and Penny. I almost forgot again. I wouldn't have been here tonight because of a Halloween party but I'm sick with a Cold so here I am. I'll stay over in the shallow end to keep the germs to myself. UGH! I feel horrible

  8. Hi Donna, Silk Penny And Monty. sorry you are feeling rough Monty

    ReplyDelete
  9. I'm still mad at them for taking out Keith and Whitney. They were very rude to them.

Karma is horrible when you u-turn someone.

    ReplyDelete
  10. Thanks, Lynn. Sucks because it's been a way over a year since I've had a cold and this one is kicking my butt on day one big time. Had to miss my annual Halloween party :(((

    ReplyDelete
  11. Monty, hope you feel better soon.

Where's Petals or does she not follow TAR?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Petals doesn't follow it these days.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, Petals isn't a TAR fan

    ReplyDelete
  14. The milking challenges are always hard

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hi everyone =)

    Get better soon Monty. =)

I have never had any trick or treaters here ever. It could be because I am down a dead end road with no one near me on my own five acres. =)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Thanks, Penny. With my luck it will be about 10 days to two weeks. That's how a Cold always hits me. UGH

    ReplyDelete
  17. We never get trick or treaters. We live in the country and are surrounded by cows and fields. Bought candy our first Halloween and ended up eating it and bringing it in to work. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  18. we have had between 40 and 50 kids thus far and it isn't even 7:30 yet.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Okay, just because a goat has big boobs, does not mean it gives a lot of milk...

Glad the mother and daughter are lost.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hi David. I live up on a hill. The kids and their parents look at the drive way and say, "I'm not walking up there". Their loss because I always have pretty good candy :)))

    ReplyDelete
  21. Our first year here we ran out of candy before 8PM.Al ran out to he Dollar store and bought 6 more bags

    ReplyDelete
  22. I lived in a little township about 20 minutes away from where I live now and the first year there I ran out of candy in 20 minutes. I couldn't believe it. I'd never seen so many trick or treaters. Out in the country but in a sort of enclosed community. Everyone from the state forest area brought their kids to that neighborhood because there were so many houses in close proximity. I was ready the second year. @@

    ReplyDelete
  23. Last year I had about 130 kids. This year, I think there may have been about 20. I heard there was a lady two streets over who was handing out dollar bills. Seriously. My grandbaby got one. All the kids are over there, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  24. LOL @ Silk. I loved one of our neighbors growing up because they gave us dimes! Back then a dime would buy you full sized candy bar. Shows how old we are :))

    ReplyDelete
  25. I hate that they are in first place. Last week humbled them, hopefully.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Heck for a dollar bill I would go trick or treating! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  27. When we lived in military base housing, we had tons of trick or treaters come by. Loved it. Here, nope, not one. I guess people live in the country for a reason.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Again, Bethany is amazing.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Misti and Jim are a team to be taken seriously. Not fond of him, but they get it done.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Happy she helped my team boys out

    ReplyDelete
  31. I bet this is a non elimination round. I'd like to see Karma punish the mom and daughter. Just thinking out loud.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I definitely like Misti more than Jim. She said she loves Bethany. I can't fault anyone for that.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I am not a fan of Misti and Jim but they are great at the competitions.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yes Penny, I also do like when carma comes back to bite someone. And after last week they need a good dose of it.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I agree, Monty, Misty and Jim are extreme competitors. It's going to be hard to beat them; however, I think it can be done, especially if they get too humble again.

At least they said nice things about Adam and Bethany.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I don't have a problem with Misti as much as with Jim's arrogance

    ReplyDelete
  37. Here I saw a ton of kids on the downtown streets hitting all of the businesses. Then there was a huge Trunk or Treat event at City Hall. So, I didn't expect any kids, nor did I get any.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I was oping Friday night football would reduce the numbers tonight but they are coming here by the dozens

    ReplyDelete
  39. LOL @ Lynn. Well, it is good exercise getting up constantly to answer the door.

    ReplyDelete
  40. You think this is a non elimination?

    ReplyDelete
  41. I don't dislike these two, but they treated Keith and Whitney horrible. When you detour, there's always problems.

    ReplyDelete
  42. You are right David most exercise I have had in ages

    ReplyDelete
  43. Well the Mother/Daughter wouldn't have finished the race but they rebuilt their relationship. That's always good.

See everyone on Wednesday for Survivor. Thanks, Jackie.

I'm now off to the couch to watch scary movies. :))

    ReplyDelete
  44. Thank you so much for hosting, Jackie. Appreciate it so much.

I work Wednesday night, so I will not be here. Nor Friday night. I really do not want to miss Wednesday with the merge, but College basketball has started.

Thank you again. Everyone have a wonderful weekend!!!

    Penny

  45. I'm actually kind of getting a kick out of Robbie at times. He's from a local town here.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thanks Jackie. Hope you feel better Monty. See all of you on Wed.
    Happy Halloween!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Karma got them good. Took a BIG bite.

    Thanks Jackie =))

Everyone have a good and safe evening. =)

    ReplyDelete
  48. That was a weird promo -- all about the race itself and not the next episode. Hmm.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Thanks for stopping by! Happy Halloween!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Happy Great Pumpkin Day, Jackie.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Jackie, before the commercial break and then the scenes of upcoming episode Phil said stay tuned for scenes of upcoming episodes. It sounded weird. Almost as if they are not sure when they will be shown. Very strange.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Thanks for the update. I didn't have time to watch this episode.
