Survivor: San Juan Del Sur Blog Party - November 5

Well, the merge is supposed to be on this week. That will certainly change the dynamics a bit. Will we see those with loved ones try to ally with the like? Or the singles? At the very least, we won't be seeing Coyopa continue to decimate weekly. Or, is that weakly? Of course, there might be some tribal loyalties going on there and the old Hunahpu members could still trounce the ex-Coyopa. It's all so complicated! That's why I sit at home at watch.

As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- come join in on the fun!

Before it's on with the show, here's the latest blog pool standings from Lifeguard Laurie --

Coyopa
Alec = Karen in Case, Merrilee
Baylor = Glenn, maquinn78, Sharon S
Jaclyn = CYW Coleman, rbennie
Josh = crob61, Rochelle, Jackie
Wes = Buzzmaam, ORKMommy, sanra

Hunahpu
Jeremy = Becky, Nana in the NW
Jon M = Donna in Alabama, Laurie
Julie = Donna NY, meb
Keith = Donna in FL, PDX Granny
Missy = Ed in Ohio, Monty924, Sharon N
Natalie = Jennasmom, Kelsey NY
Reed = David, Kathy, Lynn1

Out: Nadiya
Val = Brenda, Nickelpeed
John R = Cheryl NC, MikesGirl, Terry in TX
Drew = Delee, Petals, SueGee
Kelley = Babs Dud, ML, Russ
Dale = Brian, Margo

Survivor fans ready?

Keith is predictably disturbed about getting votes in the last tribal. Missy and Baylor owned up to it. Now he knows how much he can(not) trust them.

Tree mail has Hunahpu packing up for the merge. Coyopa got a similar email. Hmm. Where are they going to set up shop?

We have the usual feast going on.

Ah, they're going to the former Coyopa home.

Jeremy wants to get together with some singles, plus John/Jaclyn and Missy/Baylor. Huyopa is the new tribe name. And now it's Wes's birthday.

Josh wants to get the couples together. Surprise, surprise.

Aha! They found out that Julie was hoarding a supply of trail mix from their feast. Oh noes for her!

Immunity Challenge time. Josh is worried that his name will be on the chopping block. They have to balance a ball on disks supported by ropes and it gets tougher as time goes by.

Whoa! Jeremy is out first! Missy out, then Julie.

Second round starts. Reed out, Baylor, Alec out, Jaclyn out. Natalie out.

Josh, Wes, Keith and Jon left in.

The next round has two balls balancing on the disk. Josh out. Jon out. Keith and Wes, father and son, are the last two vying for victory. Keith wins the first individual immunity!

Jon told Jeremy that Josh is the target. While Josh wants Jeremy out, he also ponders breaking up Jaclyn/Jon. Lots of scheming going on. Now Jon wants Jeremy out and the couples stick together. Oy!

Uh-oh. Will Julie quit? She met Jeff away from camp. She is bereft without John. Poor baby.

She quits the game.

Jeff meets up with the others and tells them.

No tribal council tonight with Julie quitting! Jeremy stays another day.

  3. This will or should be interesting with all the couples and the singles left.

  4. It is with a not heavy at all heart that I announce the death of "Utopia".

    Born on Sept 7,2014, the unwanted step child of "Big Brother", was sickly from the
    start. Fox brass & the Showrunners
    desperately kept up false hope,promising
    that since it was scheduled to be on for a
    year viewership would pick up.

    Unfortunately the audience just never embraced such stirring drama,like a pest control guy standing around trying to figure
    out why bees were in the kitchen,or threats
    of an all out war because someone forgot to order Ramen Noodles.@@

    Fascinating questions like "Is it OK to eat the chicken we found dead in the coop" also just never
    quite caught on with viewers.

    The twice a week broadcast's condition continued to eteriorate and on Oct7th,2014 it was pulled from Tuesday nights and moved solely to Hospice on Friday nights.

    On Nov 2nd,just as MLB baseball
    disappeared for the season so did Utopia as Fox TV decided to pull the plug and cancel "Utopia"

    Meqanwhile,if anyone is looking for a remote location in California where 129 cameras are
    installed,I know where you can get one cheap :)

  5. Hiya's everyone =)

    I caught that before you removed it Uncartie. =) So Utopia is dead and buried. lol Not that anyone will miss it.

  6. Hey, Uncartie. Funny post!

  7. Hi Unc, David and Ed. Not surprised about Utopia. I never got into it.

    Jeremy better win individual immunity or I think he's in trouble.

    Had to get rid of my pumpkin :)))

  8. Hey,. David and Ed. I sure missed being her last Friday.

  9. I just never really even tried hard to get into Utopia. It sounded like too much of a time investment with little return to me.

  10. Never watched Utopia, just what I saw in the commercials.

  11. That lobster is making me hungry

  12. I need to change my avitar too. Later.

  13. I wish Keith would stop spitting at the end of every sentence. His version of a period.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Thanks Becky. I nhad to close the book on it. Hi everyone

  15. Monty,

    Battle of Ohio tomorrow night! Bengals vs. Browns. Advantage Cats in the Jungle.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Can't wait Ed! I don't know about advantage though. They play horrible on national TV and the only game I've ever been to in person was the Battle of Ohio about five or six years ago in the jungle. Cleveland came out on top of that one, LOL.

  17. I will use this one (avitar) for a while.

  18. Monty,
    Browns aren't as good as their record, but at least they're improving. I'd be happy if they could split this year.

    ReplyDelete
  19. 4 singles & 4 couples. Couples might gang up on the singles.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Baylor will screw this alliance up too!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sweet??? I don't think I'd ever call Baylor sweet!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Missy my pool pick.....divorced 3 times!!!!@@

    Baylor's gonna' be their downfall.

    ReplyDelete
  23. LOL. They made a mistake not taking out Missy/Baylor. Missy just strikes me as evil.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I want them to leave Jeremy alone!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I'm just so glad that the twinnies aren't together. Of course, if they were, the whole rest of the tribe would unite against them for being so annoying. Natalie on her own isn't bad.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ed, I have Missy too. Still not sure what to think of her.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I agree, Jackie. Natalie without Nadiya isn't too bad except for when she went all Batsh*t crazy on Rocker.

    ReplyDelete
  28. That's reason enough at this point to vote her out tonight... in their minds at least.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Here we go. Individual immunity!

    Whoops, Julie is in trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Please let it be Baylor... I know it won't be, but a girl can wish!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Wooot. A win for the old guys. lol

    ReplyDelete
  34. Julie - Rockers' girlfriend....maybe a little Angelina Jolie???

    ReplyDelete
  35. Julie, they don't trust or like you because you stole from them by hiding food.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I just don't get the quitting thing. They are only there for a month.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Every time they showed her, I swear it looked like she had fresh make-up on. I know that isn't possible!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Jackie, thank you for hosting us tonight. Give Vincent a bit of catnip from all of us.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Well, that was a buzz kill!

    ReplyDelete
  40. No Tribal action tonight, dang.

    Thanks Jackie. =)

  41. Jackie, she probably had it tattooed on before going.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Night all. See you Friday.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hey, maybe the girls will shake it up again all because of Alec. Seems like it runs in the family. DUH

    Thanks Jackie. See you all next week and some on Friday.
