Survivor: San Juan Del Sur Double Episode Blog Party - December 3

Well, this is going to be an interesting challenge. I'm not sure how well I'll be able to do with a double episode tonight. I'll give it my best shot to update this entry with the major events as they air here on the East Coast. Refresh the page to get the latest.

As always, the real party is in the comments area ... please join us there!

Here's the latest on the blog pool from the Luverly Lifeguard Laurie:

Alec = Karen in Case, Merrilee
Baylor = Glenn, maquinn78, Sharon S
Jaclyn = CYW Coleman, rbennie
Jon M = Donna in Alabama, Laurie
Keith = Donna in FL, PDX Granny
Missy = Ed in Ohio, Monty924, Sharon N
Natalie = Jennasmom, Kelsey NY
Reed = David, Kathy, Lynn1

Out: Nadiya
Val = Brenda, Nickelpeed
John R = Cheryl NC, MikesGirl, Terry in TX
Drew = Delee, Petals, SueGee
Kelley = Babs Dud, ML, Russ
Dale = Brian, Margo
QUIT -- Julie = Donna NY, meb

Jury:
Josh = crob61, Rochelle, Jackie
Jeremy = Becky, Nana in the NW
Wes = Buzzmaam, ORKMommy, sanra

Survivor fans ready?

Ah, good. Jon and Jaclyn are arguing.

Reward == How well do you know your tribemates. The chopping at a rope one. The reward is a horse ride to a resort, barbeque, overnight.

Reed is the first one out of the challenge due to being chopped by the others. Alec out.  Keith out.

Since the rest were so friendly about it and wanted Missy to win, Jeff gave it to her. Jon goes to Exile. Missy can bring two people -- Baylor and Natalie.

Stand off between Reed and Missy because Reed called Baylor a brat.

Jon found another idol. Oh, well.

Baylor and Natalie are upset that Alec and Jaclyn are flirting (after they return from reward).

Immunity Challenge -- Balance oversize paddle on a stand, roll balls into holes, must get six. Keith wins immunity!

Huh. Jon and Jaclyn had another argument. Reed tried to get J/J to work with his side. Jaclyn is pouting. Jon told Missy he found the idol before even Jaclyn knows (unless I missed that).

Tribal - Missy votes Reed, Reed votes Missy. No surprise there.

The tally - (no one plays an idol) --
Reed, Missy, Reed, Reed, Reed, Reed.

Reed is gone. Whoa ... even Alec voted Reed!

Jon thinks he's controlling the game. Huh.

Reward - Standing on a small block holding a ball with a thing against a frame.  Winner gets a king size canopy bed and feast.  Alec out. Missy out. Keith out. Baylor out. Jon out. It's Natalie and Jaclyn left. Jaclyn out. Natalie wins reward! She sends Alec to Exile. She chooses to share the bed with Jaclyn, then Jon, too.

Heh. Natalie is being strategic. She tells us she wants to build Jon's trust, then wham him out! Good for her. She wants revenge for his part in getting Jeremy out. Meanwhile, Jon is getting cocky, sure he has Natalie in his back pocket.

Immunity Challenge -- Pull on a rope balancing a table, retrieving blocks, first one to stand all their blocks wins.

Gah. Jon wins Immunity.

He wants Keith to go, as does Missy. They plan to split the vote between Keith and Alec. Natalie and Baylor are not happy.

Natalie is talking to Keith, but thinks she could flip the game, get Alec out and use Keith to get rid of Jon. Meanwhile, Baylor is getting smitten with Alec.

Tribal - Natalie knowing it's not time to make her move, talks about the solidarity of the alliance of five. We'll see the vote.

Tally --
Keith, Alec, Keith, Alec, Keith, Alec, Alec.

WHOA! She did it! Alec joins the jury. Jon and Missy are befuddled.

  1. Hi Jackie and all...

Wow, we're in for a long pool party tonight. Last week's episode was amazing. Keith has nothing between his ears and Natalie is playing a great Survivor game. Richard Hatch loves her, LOL.

  2. I see you caught up, Monty! I told you it was a good episode. Um. That was you, right?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Becky I thought about you and your Mom. last friday was my Mother's 91st birthday. She attacked her Birthday cake got frosting all over her nose and in her hair. She got down and dirty with her cake for sure.

  12. Hi everybody! Survivors Ready?? 2 hours tonight!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I do think Natalie is playing so much smarter without her twinnie. I can almost like her LOL

  14. These fools make me laugh

    ReplyDelete
  15. Missy plays too personally. She won't get much further.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I know I won't be able to sit here for 2 hours and then sit another 2 hours and watch the show when it is on here....

Jackie, are you really bored yet? Just when you get used to staying home and feeling better it will be time to go back to work..

  17. I never have been a fan of Missy or Baylor

    ReplyDelete
  18. Lynn, that must have been fun and cute to see.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Lynn, I couldn't agree more. I have Missy in the pool and just don't like her or her daughter.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah, Jackie, you might get bored, but I bet Vincent won't. I bet he is in hog heaven.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Sometimes winning a reward is not such a good thing.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Tonight is going to be a bit of a challenge for me -- TV and computer for two hours. Not sure how it will go. My concentration is a bit off.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes, Becky. Vincent is enjoying this all much too much.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I have Missy in the pool too. Not much of a fan, but don't really have a favorite to root for either.

    ReplyDelete
  25. There are lots of brats this season. I don't like Reed at all and Missy & Baylor need to be broken up.

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ugh! I don't like Jon either. Here's hoping he blows this one.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I agree with you Monty - don't like Jon either...

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  28. Actually Natalie found it. I doubt Baylor ever even looked for it before Natalie came over and made Baylor look for it.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Hi everyone =)

OD'd on turkey friday (late thanksgiving at sister's because of her work) and slept through TAR. Had to watch it online.

They need to stop giving Missy their rewards. Let her earn her own. Sheeesh.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Big mistake on Missy's part. I am not a fan of any of them any more. My heart will not break when any of them go to jury.

Speaking of jury, is Ponderosa up yet?

    ReplyDelete
  31. They knew that new idols would be in play after they got used last week. Someone should have volunteered to go to exile to prevent Jon getting it. Dang.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hey, David. Yes, Missy needs to start earning her way around there. Becky, Ponderosa is up for Josh, Jeremy and Wess. Good episodes.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Wess lost 20 pounds while he was out there and gained 11 pounds back in his first 24 hours at Ponderosa, LOL. That guy can eat!!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Ponderossa? is this up on CBS website as I have not heard of this.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Ponderosa is what they call the camp the jury stays in. They are fun to watch! They have it for just about all the seasons.

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  36. Those that are out of the game before the jury get taken to a nice vacation spot too, but isolated from possible press/leaks. The first season they actually sent people home and then realized they needed to keep them in one place!

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  37. Bit of a shocker, but good for Keith.

    ReplyDelete
  38. That was hard! The challenges have been harder this year.

    ReplyDelete
  39. David - Go to the CBS Survivor website and then to videos for Ponderosa.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Given Jon & Jacklyn's mercurial nature, I'm rather surprised no one has turned on them yet. Usually, the "swing vote" ends up getting ousted. Especially with a couple that has shown no loyalty, you'd think they would have gotten more flack than they have.

Although, I guess the explanation is pretty simple. Only a few people out there are really playing.

    ReplyDelete
  41. John & Jaclyn's votes seem to be coveted almost evey week. A power couple...for now.

    ReplyDelete
  42. David, the Ponderosa videos are up on the show page on CBS. You need to go to the videos button and then scroll down passed the full episodes and a few other categories. They are like on the bottom of the video selections.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Monty,

    O...HI...O

    Go Bucks!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Exactly, Joe. I'm surprised myself but as you said, they (the majority of them) don't know how to play Survivor. At this point, I think only Reed and Natalie know what they're doing.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I would like to see Missy go

    ReplyDelete
  46. Thanks SueGee, Jackie and Monty. I will check them out. =)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Uh oh! Trouble in paradise

    ReplyDelete
  48. Jon you're losin' Jacklyn...in more ways than one!

    ReplyDelete
  49. She gets mad when Jon talks to Missy and angry and tells him she doesn't want to talk with him.

    ReplyDelete
  50. This is high school or junior high Survivor

    ReplyDelete
  51. Reed does have beautiful eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Reed does have beautiful eyes.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Yeah, Ed. Saturday was oh so sweet!! O-HI-O

    ReplyDelete
  54. I was thinking earlier that most don't really how to really play (or outwit or outlast) Natalie and Reed do, and Jon seems to have a grasp of the fundamentals...

I enjoy those that can manipulate without domination if you get what I mean....

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  55. I wouldn't be hurt if Missy is gone tonight

    ReplyDelete
  56. Women have the numbers now

    ReplyDelete
  57. pass me a towel I am out of the pool

    ReplyDelete
  58. The jury is all male so far...
I vote to break up another couple.

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  59. I actually hope Natalie or Jaclyn wins it all

    ReplyDelete
  60. Jon you are really an idiot

    ReplyDelete
  61. Jon's going to eat those words...

    ReplyDelete
  62. I like Natalie without her sister.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I am out to Lynn1. He was living on borrowed time the last few weeks anyway.

I really want Missy, Alec, Baylor, or Jon out next.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Jon don't get too over-confident.

Might come back to bite ya'!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I actually wouldn't mind Natalie winning. But not Jaclyn. Ew...she's such a little brat. And I think Natalie was right, her relationship with Alec borders on the inappropriate.

    ReplyDelete
  66. I'm not thrilled with Jaclyn. At this point, either a Natalie or Keith win (the latter not likely at all) would suit me.

    ReplyDelete
  67. I think we all like Natalie on her own with her twinnie. She's playing a smart game and she's able to bounce back every time she loses someone close in the game. Good game play!

    ReplyDelete
  68. I don't particularly like jaclyn but I like her better than Missy, baylor, Alec,Jon or keith

    ReplyDelete
  69. That a girl, Natalie! Always thinking :))

    ReplyDelete
  70. Now I'm really wishing Natalie had done TAR with someone other than Nadiya. She's very competitive and strategic.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I had the twins for my pool pick in their TAR season & did not care for them at all.

But I'll admit Natalie by herself is playing a very good game on Survivor.

    ReplyDelete
  72. As twins you never saw them as individuals... Good idea Jackie. A good All-Star TAR would let us fans pick teams!

    SueGee

    ReplyDelete
  73. I would love to see Jon go home right now, at the peak of his arrogance. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  74. You have to wonder how much of Natalie on TAR is the edit. I mean they were pretty competitive on their if I remember correctly. But there was a tendency to just always see them yacking at each other...and others. Always dangerous to draw too definite an opinion based on the edit. Consider how different (sometimes) the BB edit is from the actual events in the House.

    ReplyDelete
  75. That is true Joe. We don't have the luxury of having a 24/7 live feed during TAR or Survivor to know what the edit is doing or not doing to reality.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I hope natalie doesn't outsmart herself

    ReplyDelete
  77. Finally here. Gone last week and worked tonight.

Hi everyone. I see I missed a lot!!

    Jackie, how are you feeling?

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hey, Penny. It's good to e-see you.

    ReplyDelete
  79. Not going to watch rest of it. I'll lurk on here, though.

I'm liking Natalie this time around. She's very smart without her sister.

It makes me think that Nadiya was the instigator of all their arguing and nit picking on TAR

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  80. Hi Becky, sounds like you had a happy, but busy Thanksgiving.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Keith has been surprisingly good in challenges lately.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I think if Keith doesn't win this, he's gone. However, if Alec and Jaclyn are flirting, Jon will make sure Alec is gone. Although, I think Jon is clueless to a lot of things. He seems to be a little out there sometimes.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Plan B would be obvious. If you can't get John, take out Jaclyn. If you take out Alec or Keith, you run the risk of not having the numbers to get out John later. Especially given that Natalie is playing single with two couples, it would help her to break up the couples. Since she's in it with Baylor to the end, that leaves John/Jaclyn. Which would kind of serve them right for not seeing the hand-writing on the wall.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Penny, it was fun -- but I told Tommy to start reminding me on Dec. 15 NOT to volunteer again.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Hi Penny... I just saw where you slipped in here.

I have a feeling it will be Keith. I don't think Alec is threatening enough to them.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Yeah, Becky, it sounds like you were on the move all the time. It was good of you to volunteer, though.

Plan B, I don't think they should take out Keith either, but I think because he's already shown he can win, they'll take him out.

    ReplyDelete
  87. I really do not like Missy and Baylor. Missy has to always depend on someone else to win. I think Jon is stupid; and Baylor is a brat.

    ReplyDelete
  88. What's going on? What does Natalie want to do?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Oh man! That's great!! Wow. WTG Natalie~~~

Well, I will see everyone on Friday night and, yay, next Wednesday. Thank you so much for hosting us, Jackie. Hope you mend well.

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  90. Natalie might have just shot herself in the foot! The couples are going to know it was her.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Stay tuned survivor fans we may get to see Jon leave next week.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Penny - Natalie wants to keep Keith as he's a stronger person to work with her to get Jon out.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I'm hoping they don't decide to turn on Natalie, she's playing the game well.

    Thank you again, Jackie!!!

    See everyone later!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. Thanks Jackie. Hope you feel better soon. goodnight everyone

    ReplyDelete
  95. I like her move, Ed. She's no slouch at immunity challenges and she won loyalty from Keith with that vote. She's on her own anyway with the two sets of loved ones. Fifth on the totem pole is still fifth no matter which way she went.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I still need to watch last week's so, I'm trying not to watch the ending of this.

    Thanks Jackie!

    Penny

    ReplyDelete
  97. Thanks for coming by, all!

    ReplyDelete
  98. Good Night folks!

    Feel better Jackie!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Thanks, Jackie. Keep taking it easy and have a good weekend. I'll see the TAR watchers on Friday and will see everyone else next week.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thanks Jackie. =)

    Have a good night everyone.
