Survivor: Worlds Apart - March 25 Blog Party
Survivor fans ready?
It's post-merge into two tribes with a really uneven playing field tonight. I can't believe how the one tribe is all guys except for one and the other one is mostly female. Yeah, that second tribe did vote out Max, a rare guy, but he's not such a great loss. I personally would have gone for Shirin out first due to the annoyance factor. However, I wasn't there.
I'll update this post with the major happenings as the show airs here East Coast time tonight. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Here's the latest on the blog pool from the Lovely Lifeguard Laurie:
Blue - Escameca
Dan - Brian, CherylinNC
Joaquin - Laurie, Rochelle
Joe - SueGee, Chris
Mike - meb, Nickelpeed
Rodney - Margo
Sierra - Jennasmom
Tyler - Donna in Alabama, ORK Mommy
Red - Nagarote
Carolyn - Jackie TerryinTX
Hali - Zoetawny, monty924
Jenn - Merrilee, Becky
Kelly - Petals, Ed in Ohio
Shirin - NanaintheNW
Will - Rbennie
Out
So
Vince - Delee NC Nina Lynn1
Lindsey - Donna in FL, David
Max - PDX Granny, Marlo
On with the shenanigans! Er, show. On with the show!
Aw, Shirin feels like she's all alone. "Is it me?" Yes. Yes, it is.
The Joaquin/Rodney bromance is getting its start.
Reward Challenge time -- race up a tower through obstacles, launch sandbags to hit six targets out in the field. They're playing for a trip to a turtle sanctuary to watch turtles migrate and lay eggs. They're also to have a feast. No. Not turtle soup. Dan sits out.
OMG! Nagarote wins Reward! Now, that was unexpected!
Uh-oh. Sierra wants to link up Joaquin. Actually, it's the other way around. Rodney and Sierra both think they need Joaquin and Tyler to get ahead, though.
Rodney tells Mike that he has Joaquin like a puppetmaster and they have to throw the challenge to get Joe out. Meanwhile, Mike isn't against throwing challenges because it would keep his ally Kelly safe on the other tribe.
The Immunity Challenge is memorizing objects in a certain order. Carolyn blew Rodney out of the water in the first round. Hali also does well. If Will gets it, they can win in this round. Joe beats him. Shirin vs. Dan now. That ties it up. Either tribe can win now. Mike vs. Kelly ... hmm. Both are wrong. Mike threw it. They go again. He tells her he's giving it to her. Mike is wrong, so is Kelly. Down to five items. The blatant throw finally works. Nagarote wins. Kind of sort of.
Too much talk about Joe going home. So, I kind of doubt he will.
Both sides are after Sierra for the vote.
Tribal Council brings out honesty from Sierra. Lots of talk of trust or the lack thereof. A teaser with the Sierra vote -- she's shown writing JO ..
Joe, Joaquin, Joe, Joaquin, Joe, Joaquin, Joaquin.
Good. I like Joe more than I like Joaquin!
Hi Jackie
ReplyDeleteHello! Welcome aboard!
ReplyDeleteLurking......
ReplyDeleteI brought all the fixings to build your own taco salad.
ReplyDeleteHi Silk
Hello Jackie, Lynn and everyone else who arrives.
ReplyDeleteEven though I was kicked out of the pool I snuck back in. =) I swear it was not my fault whatever I did.
I did bring a bunch of Chinese food as peace offering.
Hey Jackie, Lynn1, Silk and David. I brought strawberry moscato lemonade. It's yummy... fill a glass
ReplyDeleteTacos and Chinese both sound good.
ReplyDeleteDavid I got kicked out of the pool too but I came back and I would like a little fried rice please.
ReplyDeleteHi all!
ReplyDeletemonty I'll have a glass of your lemonade
ReplyDeleteI'm here for a bit and maybe a bite or two of taco salad and Chinese food and a few sips of strawberry lemonade. So yummy!
ReplyDeleteShould be a good show tonight!
Hey, Jacki, Lynn, Silk, David, monty and arrivers after me.
ReplyDeletethese girls plus 1 team are screwed
ReplyDeleteClose challenge
ReplyDeletedang they didi it
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, Laurie and Cheryl. Happy that the girls won... and Wil
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I really didn't think that the girls had a chance since it was one where strength counted.
ReplyDeleteGo girls!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad they won. Of course, it could be the only challenge they'll win as that tribe!
ReplyDeleteGo girls, lol
ReplyDeleteHelp Yourself Lynn, plenty to go around. =)
Taco salad! WOW!! One of my favorites. David, it was sweet of you to bring food, but I will pass on the Chinese. Again I did not bring anything.
ReplyDeleteLove the sea turtles
ReplyDeleteBusch Gardens in Tampa has a wonderful sea turtle exhibit. We loved our visit there.
ReplyDeleteTake that back, it was Sea World in Orlando
ReplyDeleteI have never seen the sea turtles lay eggs but I have seen them in the "wild" when we took a dolphin tour at Orange Beach Alabama
ReplyDeleteHi everyone. A little late. Am trying to make room for my daughter and son-in-law. Lots to move around.
ReplyDeleteThey have an imax like movie experience where you feel like you are on the beach with the baby turtles as they hatch. It's very dramatic with the birds of prey swooping in on them as they make their way back out to sea. I really loved it.
ReplyDeletehey David, are you bartending tonight??..I could use a cold one....oh and Rodney..what a tool he is
ReplyDeleteThey have a turtle nest watch when it is time for the babies to hatch. The watchers are there to try and prevent predators from snatching them up before they can get into the water.
ReplyDeleteCheryl I am with you Rodney is a real PITA
ReplyDeleteHi Penny
ReplyDeleteHey Laurie and Penny. Are the kids visiting or moving in, Penny?
ReplyDeleteDid he mean a puppet? Has them like a yo-yo??
ReplyDeleteRodney is so shewd; and plays so dirty.
ReplyDeleteNo, no, not Joe!!!
Hi Cheryl. =)
ReplyDeleteMy understanding was it was an open bar, help yourself. Since I snuck back in I am trying to lay low in the corner and watching.
No, don't get rid of Joe
ReplyDeleteDavid:-)...I gotcha..I'll get mine and yours
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, how are you feeling?
ReplyDeleteMy son-in-law lost his job. All the oil/gas companies in Eastern OHIO let go of 90% of their workers because oil prices have plummeted. So, all their stuff and my daughter are moving in with us. Her husband is moving in with his dad.
His step-mother will only allow 1 month. He's been looking since January and has a few job bits. The problem is, they signed a one-year lease. The longer they stay, the less they have to pay as a penalty. I feel horrible for them.
He'll throw it to Kelly and probably go home for it.
ReplyDeleteDon't throw it Mike, don't throw it.
ReplyDeleteyour probably right monty
ReplyDeleteDon't do it Mike. Dang it!!Don't do it. Stupid, stuipid
ReplyDeleteKelly should be better at this. State Trooper?
ReplyDeleteI think you are right Monty. Mike will probably go home. Dang it. There goes my pool pick. Grrrr
ReplyDeleteBet ya, Mike goes home for that. DUMB
ReplyDeleteHe all but tattooed the order on her forehead! That was the hardest challange to throw ever!
ReplyDeleteOh, sorry to hear that Penny. Luckily they have you for a temporary place to get back on their feet.
ReplyDeleteI don't particularly care who goes but I hope it isn't Joe
ReplyDeleteCriminal Minds looks good next.
ReplyDeleteJackie, have you heard Shemar Moore is suppose to be leaving Criminal Minds?
Same here, Lynn. I like Joe!
ReplyDeleteWould love to see Rodney go...but it aint gonna happen.
ReplyDeleteHere's the bromance. Hope it will be Rodney.
ReplyDeleteWell, Mike, you might want to get rid of Rodney, but the others have other ideas.
ReplyDeleteThey need to turn this around and get rid of Rodney or Phoequin.
No, no, not Joe.
Please, not Joe!!!
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling Joe is going bye, bye. Darn it. I'm sad! We don't need someone like Rodney in the group. Crap
ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard that, Penny.
ReplyDeleteI hope they really listened to what Rodney said because he's saying it's all about him.
ReplyDeleteOh, Penny, I am so sorry. I know the refineries have cut back on production. Keep your tanks full because prices will go up soon.
ReplyDeleteIf they are smart, they'd get rid of one of the two White collar guys.
ReplyDeleteWhat a tease with her vote, LOL
ReplyDeleteYES YES YES
ReplyDeleteYES!!! I would have rather seen the other guy leave, but they made a good decision.
ReplyDeleteRodney's head is going to explode, LOL
ReplyDeleteI am happy with tribal for a change
ReplyDeleteRodney better start worrying!
ReplyDeleteThe look on Rodney,,,,haha,,,The only part I hate is I really like the other White collar guy..and would hate to see him go next!!
ReplyDeleteRodney just looks all kind of confused again. Heh.
ReplyDeleteLOL. good. Never throw a challenge. Why do people still try that trick when it almost always backfires on them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Becky. The thing is, since the prices are really low right now, it's affecting natural gas and other commodeties, so everyone in the business right now are panicking and getting rid of people. That's what happned to my son-in-law. I feel bad for him because he'd only been working for them since last September and they moved from Akron to Eastern OHIO and now it gone. They'll be fine.
ReplyDeleteHOW ARE YOU FEELING?
It only seems to work in Big Brother! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. =)
ReplyDeleteEveryone have a good evening. =)
Jackie, thank you so much for posting. Will see TAR fans Friday night and Survivor fans next Wednesday.
ReplyDeletePenny, I am almost completely over the concussion. The only problem I have really is my short term memory. Have any of you who suffered a concussion had this problem. It really worries me since Momma has dementia.
ReplyDeleteTrue, Lynn :)))
ReplyDeleteHope everyone has a great week. Thanks Jackie and will see you guys next week.
Thanks Jackie. Goodnight everyone.
ReplyDeleteWell, of course, Rodney is mad. What a joke.
ReplyDeleteWell, he did go out fine at the end. Thank you all for coming by!
ReplyDeleteNight everyone. See everyone next week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!!As always this is the place to be on show night..goodnight all!
ReplyDeleteJackie, thank you for hosting. I didn't see Sue tonight. She sent me some good advise.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't mind I will ask the question regarding short term memory loss on Friday.
I am so happy that I can come back and post again.
Penny, email coming your way.
LYM
Was it me or did they just have to put the objects up on display? I didn't think they were in particular order. Especially that one where there were two candles side by side.
