No party tonight. I'm giving up on Survivor.
April Fool's!
Heehee.
Survivor fans ready?
Judging from the promo for tonight's show, it looks like the individual game might be on. If so, that's probably a good thing because it's not a fair fight if physical challenges pit the present two tribes together. All the alpha males are on one tribe! Had they not thrown the challenge last week, they would have won once again.
As the show airs here, I'll update this post with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to "see" you there!
Before we get into the show, here are the latest blog pool standings from that Rockin' Lifeguard Laurie:
Blue - Escameca
Dan - Brian, CherylinNC
Joe - SueGee, Chris
Mike - meb, Nickelpeed
Rodney - Margo
Sierra - Jennasmom
Tyler - Donna in Alabama, ORK Mommy
Red - Nagarote
Carolyn - Jackie, TerryinTX
Hali - Zoetawny, monty924
Jenn - Merrilee, Becky
Kelly - Petals, Ed in Ohio
Shirin - NanaintheNW
Will - Rbennie
Out
WC - So
NC - Vince - Delee
NC - Nina - Lynn1
BC - Lindsey - Donna in FL, David
Max - PDX Granny, Marlo
Joaquin - Laurie, Rochelle
Let's get started!
Rodney isn't a happy camper and perhaps even less so when Mike tries to reel him back in.
Tree mail hints at the merge.
Yes, the merge and its related feast is on. Tyler is relieved as he was Joaquin's buddy. Carolyn tells us that, although she has a strong bond with Tyler, no one is going to know about it. I'm liking my pool pick so far this season. She found an idol without a clue and has been flying under the radar a bit while making quietly strategic moves.
They find the camp is basically gone and they have to start from scratch again.
Mike and Kelly renew their bonds. It looks like the five remaining Blue Collars might be a power to be reckoned with. The No Collars want to hook up with the White Collars. Rodney wants to get recruits against those who "disrespected him" by voting out Joaquin.
Dan got stung by a jellyfish. Poor baby.
Mike comes up with the tribe name of Merica. @@
Okay, time for the first individual immunity challenge! It's endurance, hanging onto a pole. Dan's out first. Now Will is out. Then Tyler. Sierra out. Then Shirin, then Kelly. Mike falls. Rodney asks Momma C (Carolyn) if she has it. Now Rodney out. Jenn got stung by a bee in the um ... upper thigh. Hali is out. Now it's raining. Jenn is out. They've been up about an hour. It's down to Joe and Carolyn.
Carolyn falls. Joe wins Immunity!
Mike thinks Jenn or Hali should be the targets. He thinks Will will be swayed by Rodney. Will thinks the first vote will show loyalty. That's their plan. Shirin thinks the old BC hate each other, but vote as a block. The WC players are in the middle. The NC want to target Kelly.
Tribal Council. Shirin denies being a swing vote after Jeff mentioned that the numbers make old WC swing votes.
The tally -- Jenn plays her idol.
Hali, Jenn, Jenn, Jenn, Jenn, Jenn, Jenn, Jenn, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly.
Kelly is voted out. Rodney's reaction, although blurred, is almost as good as his reaction when Joaquin was voted out.
Hey, Jackie and others who arrive.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky and Jackie! Good April fools there, Jackie ;-)
ReplyDeleteBarely finished dinner in time. I brought burgers on the grill with all the fixins' over by the bat. Help yourselves.
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie, Becky And Monty
ReplyDeleteHey Lynn
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie. Thank you for hosting us.
ReplyDeleteHi Becky. How you feeling?
Hi Monty and Lynn
Well, Rodney....you can't have it your way all the time. You're a snake.
ReplyDeleteHi Penny. Always interesting to see what happens at the merge.
ReplyDeleteHey, guys!
ReplyDeleteI have boiled fresh corn with butter and Parmesan cheese, fresh asparagus that I grilled with hollandaise sauce on the side and fresh Louisiana strawberries for desert,
ReplyDeletehi Penny
ReplyDeleteLynn, that sounds soooooo good.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I am hoping they do not pick off the Blue Collar little by little.
ReplyDeleteI am better, Penny. Thank you for asking. I would never wish a concussion on my worst enemy. I am still having problems with my short term memory. In fact, I had a doctor appointment today and forgot to mention it!
ReplyDeleteI am glad they merged. Too lopsided before. I agree, Jackie, had the men not thrown the game then the girls would have lost. I thought the last guy was going to have to draw a picture for that girl.
I attempted to fry my computer earlier this week. Luckily I did not manage to blow it up completely. It is reparable. I am using my old Dell tonight and the keyboard is configured somewhat differently and is driving me nuts.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds fabulous, Lynn.
ReplyDeleteI think Carolyn will go far if she can keep her alliance hidden.
Hi all! You ladies are making me hungry!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see them merge.
Everything sounds good. I promise that Friday I will bring something to eat.
ReplyDeleteHey, has anyone heard from Petals lately?
I like Carolyn, but she's really shrewd. I don't like her guy friend though. I really want the Blue Collar to succeed, but I do think the other 2 tribes will gang up on them.
ReplyDeleteI went to the grocery store today and they had all these wonderful fresh veggies and fruits and I couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteI dislike Rodney! A lot!!
ReplyDeleteWhy do they dislike the blue collar? Because they work? If they deal with the white collar, nothing will get done....lol
ReplyDeleteSame ole Rodney. What a snake.
I wouldn't trust Rodney as far as I could throw him and that wouldn't be too far.
ReplyDeleteHello to all of you.
ReplyDeleteHey Ed!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, here we go with the swing voters again. UGH
Hi Folks
ReplyDeleteBecky - Petals is active on Facebook. She must have given up on the show again, I guess.
ReplyDeleteYou'd think people would have learned over time that "swing vote" translates as "next to go"
ReplyDeleteHi Ed & Joe
ReplyDeleteRodney is really full of himself.
ReplyDeleteMonty - You might be able to throw him farther than you think. Did you notice how short he was compared to Mike? When he walked with one of the women, he was about the same height. I'm thinking 5'6" or so. The "small man syndrome" perhaps?
ReplyDeleteHello everyone! Did they open tonight's show with Rodney's stunned face when his partner was voted out? I laughed at that all week.
ReplyDeleteHey Joe. Becky, she's been sick the past week or so but she's doing okay. Had a bought with pneumonia.
ReplyDeletePeeing on it would be better than hot water.
ReplyDeleteHi Monty & Lynn!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying the 'virtual' food!
It is the redneck version.
ReplyDeleteI do not like her. But, I don't like the name either. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi to all (sorry too chilly to jump in the pool even here in CA)
ReplyDeleteHi to Jackie & Vincent glad to hear things are quieting down there!
SueGee on the LeftCoast
LOL @ Jackie :)))
ReplyDeleteIf you are ever stung by a jelly fish put some vinegar and sprinkle some meat tenderizer on the sting. You can use dill pickle juice in place of the vinegar.
ReplyDeleteI miss seeing Petals. Hope she's okay.
ReplyDeleteYes, they did, Laurie.
ReplyDeleteAnd, unfortunately it did get a bit thumpy over there just minutes ago despite it seems like they put carpet in.
Penny - She just commented on a FB post I made today. I'm sure she's fine. She gave up on the show last season, too.
ReplyDeleteSueGee, Jackie has a heated pool.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I just saw this Easter Walmart commercial showing kids getting bikes for Easter? What? When did that happen???
ReplyDeleteMy husband just got through with a bout of pneumonia. He about coughed up a lung.
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Hi everyone =)
ReplyDeleteRunning late and still finishing up some work so I will be lingering in the cloud watching. I am going to sneak away with some of the food though. =)
Heated pool sounds nice - but a hot tub better LOL
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Endurance!!! But it isn't as exciting at BB, LOL
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that, Sue. I hope he gets better soon!
ReplyDeletePretty immunity necklace
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to TAR this week. Seems like forever since it was on. A thorough recap will need to happen
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Joe or one of the girls will win. My guess. LOL
ReplyDeleteSeems early to be starting the immunity challenge. Must be some fireworks coming up.
ReplyDeleteWithout shoes would be easier. Both wearing shoes. Tyler, wearing shoes.
ReplyDeletePenny I saw that Walmart commercial and thought the same thing. We got dyed eggs and maybe a chocolate bunny
ReplyDeleteHi David. Not surprised Dan was out first on that. I want to see Hali or Jenn win this one. Maybe Joe
ReplyDeleteRodney won't last
ReplyDeleteYou're right Lynn. Eggs and a chocolate bunny.
ReplyDeleteDang, I thnk Mike will be targeted.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn is doing well. So is Joe.
OMG, lol. Poor Jenn
ReplyDeleteTough break Jenn!
ReplyDeleteGO joe
ReplyDeleteI hope they get rid of Rodney, but I think they will target all the other Blue Collar. They'll want to keep Rodney for the vote.
ReplyDeleteNow mother nature kicks in. LOL!
ReplyDeleteDon't negotiate
ReplyDeleteHang on Joe!
ReplyDeleteJellyfish sting and bee sting on the same night? Wow!!
ReplyDeleteRodney wants Joe gone. Come on Joe. Stay in it.
ReplyDeleteWay to go, JOE!! Almost gone and now has II
ReplyDeleteThat means they cabn't get him this week either!
ReplyDeleteJoe needed that!
ReplyDeleteWTG Joe
ReplyDeleteLaurie - Dan got the jellyfish sting, Jenn got the bee sting.
ReplyDeleteThing is, he's got to keep this up. He will be a target because he is strong.
ReplyDeleteGood time to take out Rodney. His main target is safe. Hopefully he will shoot his mouth off enough to get himself kicked out.
ReplyDeleteAm I imagining it, or are there more commercials this time out?
ReplyDeleteNo, not Jenn or Hali
ReplyDeleteIf it isn't Rodney I hope it is Mike he is a jerk too
ReplyDeleteWill won't turn on the no collars... just my thinking
ReplyDeleteThis will probably not work. We'll see, but I think they will vote out a Blue Collar.
ReplyDeletePlease not Jenn. She's my pool person.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it that they do not like about the Blue Collar??
ReplyDeleteEdge of seat
ReplyDeleteIs Joe a "collar"? Which one?
ReplyDeleteWho do you all think???
ReplyDeleteBlue collar?
Kelly? Jenn? (idol)........
ReplyDeleteor someone else????
Penny, the still have five and the biggest voting block if they are still together.
ReplyDeleteJoe is a no collar.
ReplyDeleteIt could be Kelly. I'm hoping it's flipped.
But, will someone flip? If no collar and white collar go together, they can and will vote out a blue collar.
ReplyDeleteOh, boy... here we go
ReplyDeleteWow did she get some inside info or what?
ReplyDeleteOh no.....This sucks.
ReplyDeleteThat's two tribals in a row for Rodney to left befuddled :))))
ReplyDeleteI find Rodney's melt downs entertaining
ReplyDeleteRodney is not a happy camper. LOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteI liked Kelly. Dang. They pulle da good one. No collar and White collar have teamed together. Blue collar needs to be on guard now.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteWell there went my 'band-aid' girl. I'm out & a free agent with no one to root for!
ReplyDeleteJackie, thank you so much for hosting.
ReplyDeleteSee everyone Friday for TAR. I've missed it.
What color was Kelly?
ReplyDeletePetals may come back now. She didn't like her pool pick, Kelly after the first night. I think she'd root for Joe. He's a cutie!
ReplyDeleteLove ya, Petals.
Thanks Jackie and all the great company here. I'm off to catch up on idol.
See you all next week!
Kelly was a blue, Becky
ReplyDeleteLOL, I still wish it had been Rodney himself instead of an ally.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie =)
Everyone have a good evening.
Kelly is Blue Collar. I don't understand why her? They mad that she didn't stick with them?
ReplyDeleteHave a Good Night everyone!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!
Thanks Jackie. this hour flew by... goodnight everyone
ReplyDeleteYes, TAR is back Friday! Thanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteI just do not get why they all hate Blue Collar. Dang. LOL
ReplyDeleteSee you Friday. Thanks again, Jackie.
