It's Friday night! I hope you haven't forgotten that it's time for The Amazing Race! The last time out, my own blog pool team got Philiminated. Five teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?
As the show airs here, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there. (And bring snacks. And beverages.)
Here's the blog pool standings presented by the Magnificent Margo:
Mike and Rochelle - Cheryl in NC, Laurie
Matt and Ashley - Delee, Merrilee
Blair and Hayley - Terry in TX, Margo, Chris
Jelani and Jenny - Marlo, Lynn 1, dla
Tyler and Laura - Ed in OH, David, Nickelpeed
PHILIMINATED:
Jeff and Lyda - Jennasmom, Paula Bell, meb
Lebya and CJ - Donna in FL, PDXGranny
Harley and Jonathan - Becky, Willie J
Bergen and Kurt - Nana in NW, Rbennie
Jeffrey and Jackie - Brian, Donna in AL, ORKMommy
Aly and Steve - Jackie, SueGee
Let's get it on!
Teams are heading to Amsterdam. Jenny and Jelani are ticked at Matt and Ashley for U-Turning them and will seek revenge if possible.
The Roadblock has teams seeking a matchingpair of clumpets? (Wooden shoes). The person has to match two individual shoes out of a gazillion pairs.
Jenny and Jelani get through the Roadblock first and they're riding bicycles to the ferry to get their next clue. Laura and Tyler next through.
Matt and Ashley are the only ones remaining at the Roadblock. Matt has touched the correct shoe several times and is growing more and more frustrated. On his 43rd attempt he made the match.
Detour - Soak or Shuffle. Floating hot tub looking for the clues or play a Dutch version of shuffleboard.
Haley continues to freak out on Blair. I think it might be cause for a justifiable homicide on his part.
Tyler and Laura have their clue to the Pit Stop.
1. Laura and Tyler - won a trip to Seoul, South Korea
2. Haley and Blair
3. Jelani and Jenny
4. Mike and Rochelle
5. Matt and Ashley - A non-Philimination! They're still in it!
Hi Jackie and everyone who shows up
ReplyDeleteI finally get to come to a Friday night
ReplyDeletepool party
Hi, Lynn! The Friday parties have been getting quiet. I think it seems to be a bad night for many people. Becky usually comes along!
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie, Lynn, and everyone who shows up. =)
ReplyDeleteHi David
ReplyDeleteHey, Jackie, Lynn and David. Yeah, I am here. I enjoy being here.
ReplyDeleteJackie friday nights are not a good night for me but I join in when I can
ReplyDeleteHi Becky
ReplyDeleteI brought Southern fried chicken and potato salad, Jackie.
ReplyDeleteI want to go to Amsterdam, heck, I want to go anywhere. Never been out of the USA except for a couple of miles into Mexico. I wouldn't go there now.
ReplyDeleteI do not care for Haley.
ReplyDeleteIf I was the doc I would be tempted to sew her mouth up.
ReplyDeleteDavid, I used to love to go to Mexico. It is only around three hours from us. We always stayed in the border towns. Would not go there now if you paid me.
ReplyDeleteAmsterdam is very nice... great museums
ReplyDeleteHi to everyone!! I didn't forget tonight!! Amazing LOL
ReplyDeleteFried Chicken and fresh fruit salad for all
SueGee on the LeftCoast
ReplyDeleteHi all!..better late than never i guess
Becky I agree about Haley
ReplyDeleteMy Facebook feed has been busy for the last few weeks as two separate groups of family/friends make their way through France and Germany (so far) I have been to most of the individual states, but not out of the country. Been thinking of getting my passport tho
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Hi SueGee and Cheryl
ReplyDeletegeez haley would seriously get on my nerves
ReplyDeleteSueGee, I helped my sister get her passport last year as she was getting married and needed it for the honeymoon. I should have got mine at the same time. I have never had one.
ReplyDeleteSew it up! Or stick a sock it!
ReplyDeleteAny man who sees this show is going to run like the devil from her.
ReplyDeletegeez no wander that chick is single
ReplyDeleteI am about 4 hours from Juarez and I have been a few times in the 90's but you could not pay me to go there now.
ReplyDeleteand dude has the patience of job with her..lol...he must just keep repating a million ..a million...a million ...to keep from going off on her
ReplyDeleteMore TAR casting auditions tomorrow in Greenwich, CT.
ReplyDeleteHe seems to be really good at just shutting out what she is saying, which then just infuriates her more!! What a whiner.
ReplyDeleteSueGee
LOL @ Jackie
ReplyDeleteJustifiable homicide. =)
They are having auditions out here tomorrow too. Silicone Valley types wanted LOL
ReplyDeleteSueGee
I doubt they'll win, but I think I like Mike and Rochelle more each week.
ReplyDeleteSueGee - Greenwich is very wealthy, like Paul Newman type wealth. That Kennedy cousin who killed the neighbor wealth.
ReplyDeletethey are so cute together
ReplyDeleteNot a good prize in my mind.
ReplyDeleteDang, my team is doing alright. I thought they were going to crash and burn the third leg/show.
ReplyDeleteI wish they could find more people that have the total awe of the world like they used to find. Like the guys from Kentucky. These rich, young couples are just too rude and demanding...imho
ReplyDeleteSueGee
If I was to go to a Asian country, I think I would want to visit Japan. South Korea would not be high on my list.
ReplyDeleteIf Haley always wears safety helmets like that, that may explain where her problem came from.
ReplyDeleteYaY!
ReplyDeletelol..silk
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. I had fun being with you guys tonight
ReplyDeleteMyabe Blair and Jelani should race together while Jenny and Haley make for another team. Then the annoyances would be together.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by! It was good to see you tonight!
ReplyDeleteThat should be the last non-philimination. Sprint to the end now.
ReplyDeletethanks Jackie. =)
Everyone have a good evening.
Have a great weekend all...and Jackie thanks as always for having us over!
ReplyDeleteJackie, I forgot to thank you for hosting us -- I think. I do appreciate you giving up your time.
ReplyDeleteSee you next Wed.
