Big Brother 17: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - August 5
Good evening! Ready for a blog party?
As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
James is not scared. It's good to know that. Clay's biggest fear was being put up on the block next to Shelli. Shelli cries a tear. Clay tries to intimidate James by yelling at him. James is not scared.
Now Clay and Shelli are scaring Vanessa. They blame her saving Austin for them being on the block. Vanessa cries.
Shelli and Clay talk to James. They go on about having had his back all along. James doesn't fall for their twisted tales. Shelli cries.
Shelli backtracks and goes for damage control with Vanessa. "This alliance is still on." Shelli cries. Vanessa cries. "Why this week? I'll be spending the rest of the time in the jury house without HIM!"
Time to pick PoV players! James wants to win to keep the nominations the same. James draws Houseguest's Choice, goes for Jackie. Shelli draws Becky. Clay draws Vanessa. Vanessa is not thrilled.
Becky sits in with Jackie and James as they talk about winning the veto and keeping the nominations the same.
Time for the PoV comp! Kingdom of Big Brotherhood. Played in rounds, catapult darts. Reveal the prize inside crowns. It's the comp where they can trade prizes with rewards and punishments. The onlookers can drink wine while they watch.
Vanessa scored 26. Clay 19. Becky 11. Shelli 22. Jackie 1. James 29. Jackie out. Jackie's prize is the veto. She knows it will go.
In the second round, Shelli's dart lands in the water. Shelli is out. She wins a Knight in Shining Armor (costume). She takes the veto from Jackie.
Round three, Vanessa out. She wins an Ireland vacation, keeps it.
Round four, Clay is out. Knight of Shining Armor, 24 hours of shining the shining knight's armor. He takes the Ireland trip from Vanessa.
Shelli cries.
Last round, Becky is out. She wins $5,000, keeps it.
James wins Castle Guard, doing guard duties 2400 time in 24 hours. He likes the idea of the money, but takes the veto. Shelli is the Castle Guard and James wins the Veto.
Shelli cries.
Meg is all woozy and she and Clay kind of cling on each other, both a bit teary. Clay, sober, is kind of a hands on kind of guy during this!
Jackie gets her armor for the week and Vanessa must buff it for the day. Shelli got a sword -- must hit a punching bag, stab a target and knocking a bar down with the sword. Every 100 she has to run in the house ringing a bell to let the kingdom know they're safe. She does it!
Shelli tells us she has information from the twins that might sway James to use the veto. They talk to him. He tells them that he would need enough information to put someone else up. Shelli tells James about the Austin/Judas bit. She says that Judas voted for Audrey, Judas changed the target to him. She throws Austin under the bus. James tells them he'll think about it and then decide.
Veto meeting time! Clay says how much he cares fro Shelli. Shelli they've been good to their word, don't deserve to be nominated. James says they turned their backs on him, left him in the dark about stuff and does not use the veto.
Shelli cries.
Hey, Jackie and all who arrive. I am excited about tonight. Wonder if they will show Clay's little temper tantrums.
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie. I have popcorn for all and grabbing a seat at the bar. White peach sangria for everybody.
ReplyDelete~~~~SPLASH~~~~
Hi folks
ReplyDeleteHi Becky.
ReplyDeleteHi, guys!
ReplyDeleteH'lo Joe
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie, Becky, and all who show up. =)
ReplyDeleteThat is what I really want to see, Clay throwing his temper tantrums.
I'm DVRing it, LOL. I think this episode will be a keeper :)))
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie,Joe monty, becky and david...let the fun begin
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie & Everyone!
ReplyDeleteTRAIN! We should drink every time they do that, LOL
ReplyDeleteHey Cheryl and Ed
ReplyDeleteBoo Hoo!
ReplyDelete"without my boy-toy"
ReplyDeleteHey Monty!
ReplyDeleteawwww...cry me a river..geez
ReplyDeleteBoo hoo
ReplyDeleteHi everyone. Thank you, Jackie for hosting us.
ReplyDeleteWell, Clay and Shelli, you know how it feels to be on the block now. You never cared how others felt, now you know.
Talk about keeping your word, you guys lie, Clay.
~~~SPLASH~~~~~
ReplyDeleteHi Everyone! Pulling the babyback ribs off the BBQ as we speak! Hot sourdough garlic bread too! Help yourself!!
SueGee from the Smokey LeftCoast
Lol, Ed we had the same thought at the same time (almost)
ReplyDeleteHi Becky, how are you doing?
ReplyDeleteHey, Monty, Joe, David, Cheryl, Ed and others.
ReplyDeleteMonty.......Great Minds!!
ReplyDeleteAs always, you will have to clue me in to when to drink...No TV yet here
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Hi Becky!
ReplyDeleteGeesh, guys. People pleaded with you and you didn't listen. Now you want to blame everyone else but yourselves.
ReplyDeleteomg...do shelli and clay really believe that they were not the ones who started the save austin show last week
ReplyDeleteThis season started out real SLOW for me but it's been getting better lately. Still don't have a favorite yet.....probably won't at this point
ReplyDeleteWe...We...We...It's always 'We"
ReplyDeleteI can't believe that Vanessa went back to trying to help Shelli stay.
ReplyDeleteLovin' this :)))
ReplyDeleteWeren't they talking about getting rid of James last week?? Or at one time?
ReplyDeleteLiking james more and more
ReplyDeleteI hope they are giving Chelli the spoiled brat Hypocrite edit they deserve. Show doesn't start here for an hour.
ReplyDeleteWe usually get smokey air/skies here when there are big fires in Cali. SueGee but not this year. Guess there is a favorable jet stream going on, at least for my area. Hope you are safe and not in any of the area's effected.
I have been a fan from the first show but unless the filthy language changes especially from the girls shame shame what a example you set
ReplyDeleteYes, Penny... they were. Clelli together are two of the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen in there. Of course Vanessa also ranks right up there.
ReplyDeleteIt smelled like an old campfire here this morning. Fires are not too close, but close enough! They are talking rain for Friday - that would really, really help.
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Real tears...Wow!
ReplyDeleteThey are David and it's delightful
ReplyDeleteohhhhh god judas
ReplyDeleteLike he will stay faithful to you, older woman.
ReplyDeleteThis week? You've got to be kidding. It was going to happen sooner or later. Okay, so one of you isn't going to make the jury...
ReplyDeletewhat is up shelli...are you 15 or what....dont you know that boytoy is gonna drop you like a hot potato once hes out..get a grip woman
ReplyDeleteI hate that Becky shares my name!
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that the roles are reversed. Chelli thought they had full control. I am so glad a monkey wrench was thrown in to the mix.
ReplyDeleteSo, Becky likes that James is keeping her safe? Wait until he finds out that she is the mole!!!
That's okay, our sweet Becky, we know you are NOTHING like her!!! <3
ReplyDeletelol becky...the hamster one does kinda suck
ReplyDeleteShelli's just afraid to lose her boy toy if he goes home and she's stuck in there for the summer. hehehe
ReplyDeleteSueGee, when my husband and I were stationed in California, we saw wild fires every year. The smell was terrible. Where we were, they were not as bad, but other places were terrible.
ReplyDeleteI can't keep up with Becky (the hamster). One day she's telling JMac that she's with Clelli and that side, and today she's with James/Meg/Jackie. I think even JMac will get tired of her routine before too long.
ReplyDeleteWow, I just realized, no JMac in the veto!!
ReplyDeleteI think if they are stupid enough to keep Shelli this week she is going to drive Vanessa bonkers since she won't have Clay to constantly bounce her crazy scheme's off of anymore. Vanessa will regret saving her I predict if they do. =)
ReplyDeleteJackie, I bet this past week has a lot more fun to watch the feeds.
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny. Game of throws. LOLOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteBecky, the feeds have been fabulous
ReplyDeleteIf they are smart, they'd get rid of Shelli. She's so irritating. They'll regret keeping her, if they do. She'll drive them crazy.
ReplyDeleteWait to you all see sippy Meg after this comp. I know they'll show it. :)))
ReplyDeleteGAG
ReplyDeleteOh, gag a goat!
ReplyDeletei think i just may throw up on that one shelli
ReplyDeleteThey need to get rid of Shelli! Does anyone remember Rachael?
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Clay is such a mush mouth
ReplyDeleteShelli don't look happy!
ReplyDeleteShelli's facial expressions tell a lot
ReplyDeleteGo James
ReplyDeleteThey are mad because they were gotten. As I said, now they know what the others felt like; and they didn't care.
ReplyDeleteWOOHOO JAMES!!!
She definitely doesn't have a poker face, Ed
ReplyDeletego james.....poor clelly....not
ReplyDeleteSueGee, you mean "Don't come between me and my man" Rachael?
ReplyDelete5 grand changes someone's life? James must
ReplyDeletehave a minimum wagejob.
Hey SueGee... the ribs are yummy. I hope the fires die down with the forecast of rain. Has to be scary.
ReplyDeleteHere comes sippy Meg
ReplyDeleteHere we go Monty!
ReplyDeleteThey act like they are the first ones to be put otb or evicted. I think they also forget they've only known each other a little over 40 days. And did I hear correctly when Shelli was crying over it happening this week and being separated before jury, she said she would have to go to the jury house without Clay?
ReplyDeleteYes Becky! Talk about a whiner LOL
ReplyDeleteSueGee
Hi all... late to the party!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to swill some of that kool-aide they all drink!
I'm not liking Meg here, at all. I mean, seriously?
ReplyDeleteOh Meg you better hope Shelli doesn't find out
ReplyDeleteI do want to see shelli kick ass in her challenge though..much respect deserved from what i understand
ReplyDeleteOh gosh. I didn't know Meg liked Clay.... a lot!
ReplyDeleteJoe..it was pretty bad right.?
ReplyDeleteThe fire that hit Oakland/Berkeley a few years back was really scary. We could see a glow from our house 20 miles away! Everything is so dry it could happen in the middle of any town right now. The forecast for rain is 1/4" so it can dampen things a little at least
ReplyDeleteSueGee
I can't wait for Shelli to see that bathroom clip.
ReplyDeleteClay just insured his status as America's most hated houseguest
ReplyDeleteBecky, when she gets out and sees it she will freak
ReplyDeleteThat right there should show everyone they better vote her out now while they have the chance..that was beastmode..haha
ReplyDeleteLoL, BB is just insuring that this never will be union stays that way by showing the Meg clip. They don't want to create another Brenchel. =)
ReplyDeleteDon't you know that she will have steam coming out of her ears? She will wish she had kept the sword to do some cutting of her own!
ReplyDeleteExactly, Cheryl. But these guys aren't the sharpest crayons in the box. I want Shelli to stay over Clay though.
ReplyDeleteEspecially since Shelli broke down and has been doing the slurpy-durp with Clay since last night! LOL
ReplyDeleteWatch James' body language here
ReplyDeleteLOL... ^5 James
ReplyDeleteHowever, they could have voted to let Jason stay...
ReplyDeleteMan I swear I can read Shelli like a book!
ReplyDeleteAww, they skipped the part where he baited them into saying Steve's name. They didn't but they were insinuating it and he kept trying to get them to say it.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see who goes. Thank you so much for this blog, Jackie. Greatly appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteWill see everyone tomorrow night!!!
Did James ever tell Austin that they threw him under the bus?
ReplyDeleteRobbed again!! No Clay hissy fit at the POV shown. Hopefully we see it tomorrow night. Darn it!
ReplyDeleteGood thing we were not drinking every time Shelli cried today. LOL
ReplyDeleteShelli should go but if she stays it should be more 'drama'
ReplyDeleteJackie, thank you for hosting. Guys, this has been fun. See you tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie...good night all..see everyone tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie =)
ReplyDeleteEveryone have a great evening.
Yes, Becky. He let him know and that stirred a hornets nest for a while. Well, I guess it's time to say goodnight to all and hope to see you all tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!!
Good Night All!
ReplyDeleteI have a 'road trip' tomorrow but hope to be back in time for the live show.
As always thanks Jackie & everyone!
