Good evening! Ready for a blog party?
As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Aw, Meg cries. She's upset to be on the block with her buddy James. Vanessa talks and explains herself ... too much.
Veto players pick -- Vanessa draws Julia. James draws Liz. Meg draws Austin. No Houseguest Choice chip selected.
James can make Meg laugh even when she's so down. Perhaps no romance, but that's one solid and caring friendship.
Johnny Mac, red shirt and bowtie, is the PoV host. The comp is called Hide and Go Veto. They go into the house separately and each hide a veto card. Then they have two minutes to find the veto cards. The last card not found, the hider wins. Watching them tear apart the house is always fun.
Meg couldn't find any. Nor can Austin -- he's more intent on further hiding his own by making a mess.
James is bent on destroying the house, gets nothing. Julia didn't find any. Liz didn't, either. Vanessa has one. Four more left to be found. Julia found one. Meg has one. Vanessa found the last card. The big reveal - Liz, Vanessa, Julia, Meg (James found her card!), Austin.
James wins the Power of Veto!
And, now they have a giant mess to clean up!
Vanessa is in a quandary. Who to put up? Who to put up? She doesn't want to put up Johnny Mac or Steve for her own reasons -- the vote might flip to get rid of one of them and she wants Meg to go.
James vows vengeance on Vanessa. Austin runs and tells Vanessa. In an Austwins meeting with Vanessa, she tells them that the only safe option is to put Julia up as a pawn. Austwins want Johnny Mac out. Vanessa is adamant on Meg going.
James goes to talk to Vanessa, hoping to save Meg. They argue. Vanessa is upset that James told her she plays the game too hard.
Veto meeting time. James saves himself. Vanessa nominates Julia in his place after going on about how difficult it is for her.
Have you guys read these articles on Austin's girlfriend? ReplyDeleteYep, Meg. You all made wrong choices. Everyone fell for Vanessa's word. Meg is right. They are being targeted because they are NOT in her alliance. Like I said, everyone of her nominations has been easy.

I wish J-M would flip and vote to oust a twin. That way Vanessa would HAVE to break the tie. Best case would be if J-M and Steve flipped, but Steve won't.

ReplyDeleteEd, I think Vanessa is playing the hardest game, but she has never made a big move. She uses people to get something done, which, for her, is good. Every target has been an easy target. If you target her, she gets mad. If you try to play a hard game, she gets mad. This is kudos to her because EVERYONE has fallen for her fanatics.
She will win because she has manipulated every one. What I do not like about her, is she is NOT likable. Some of her traits are so unworthy. Nobody can play the game harder than her. It's irritating.
So excited for the new Survivor!! And Joe is back! Wonder if Ozzy is coming back?

I thought maybe Austin blew it while talking to Vanessa/Steve... said he'd never split up the Twins until F3. Immediately picked up that it wasn't something he should have said and tried to back up a couple of steps.

uncartie, this goes along with him saying to Vanessa, do you think we are the villains this season? I think a couple of days ago. I don't know where he got the hint from but he may be realizing that they are not the beloved he once thought. I think it was right after Vanessa put up Julia to ensure Meg goes home.
