Survivor: Cambodia, Second Chance - October 28 Episode Blog Party

I hope you all brought snacks and tasty beverages! As the show airs here on the East Coast, I'll update this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest! As always, the real party is in the comments area -- come join in on the fun!

Judging from the promos, someone is removed from the game for medical reasons tonight. We've seen that before, but it's always scary. Since we haven't heard that anyone died in the news, all should be okay.

Lifeguard Laurie's Pool Update (yay, she's back from Hawaii!):

Survivor fans ready?

Uh-oh. It's not an accident on the show. Jeff tells Terry Dietz that his son is in the hospital and doctor and his wife think it's serious enough for him to go home. How sad. I found out more about his son's health issues in this article.

Yipes! Another switch! Drop your buffs. It's back to Takeo and Bayon, no Angkor.

I'll fix these if I'm wrong -- hard to figure out who's where at first --
Takeo: Savage, Woo, Spencer, Kass, Abi-Marie, Ciera and Wiglesworth

Bayon: Jeremy, Wentworth, Joe, Fishbach, Kimmi, Keith, Tasha

Reward Challenge - One member each tribe race, grab ring, throw it, first tribe to get three rings on target pole win. The winning tribe gets a feast with fried chicken and all. Takeo wins!

Spencer is worried that Kass will be a problem for him while Savage is thrilled ... he likes his new tribe and knows that he might be able to work Kass against Spencer. Huh. Savage decides it's a good idea to tell Spencer everybody is voting out Ciera. Ciera ain't too cool wit' that. She can take a hint.

On Bayon, Joe wants to protect Kelley W. and target Kimmi. Kelley has an idol, but she'll take his protection! Fishbach is worried about Joe and tries to work Tasha his way. He cries to us. @@

Immunity Challenge -- It's the local delicacies food challenge -- always a winner. First up are tarantulas, not alive. Giant waterbeetles are next. Third food is pig snout. Deep-fried frog next. Ah, pig brain. Scorpion -- looks deep-fried. The epic balut is next -- embryo with feathers and all, if memory serves. Bayon wins Immunity!

Kass, though she did poorly in the challenge, still wants to target Spencer. The others want to target him, too. Actually, it sounds like it's so much of a done deal that I doubt he'll go. Spencer foolishly trusts Savage who's bent on taking him out because Savage thinks he's such a big threat. Ciera is also ticked that her name is thrown in there.

Uh-oh. Has Ciera changed Kass into wanting to keep Spencer? Kass tells Spencer that Savage is targeting him and saying Ciera. Will they really work together? Kass and Spencer? Hmm.

Tribal Council time. Jeff will ask his Probsting questions.

Savage votes for Spencer. Spencer goes with the Woo vote as per Kass.

The tally:
Spencer, Woo, Spencer, Spencer, Woo, Woo, Woo.

Savage looks very uncomfortable that his buddy is taken out and his alliance betrayed him.

Heh. I love a good blindside even though I'd love for Woo to remain.

The merge is on for next week!

    ReplyDelete

Cornbread & Chili....2 of my faves!

    ReplyDelete
  22. Last night I was jumping between shows like that too! I can hear the debate LOL Don't need to watch them spew their venom. I'm not actually allowed to watch with my husband because I start talking back at them!! WS is on the radio too...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Fish is this season's Cochran

    ReplyDelete
  24. Last night's game (WS) was epic. I didn't go to bed until it was over... five hour game one!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hi Becky! How are things going?

    ReplyDelete
  26. I have been here but I was having trouble getting my post to "take"

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oh, those might be last words Savage

    ReplyDelete
  28. Shoot. Jeremy is my pool pick. I feel bad for them. I'm not an Abi fan, but she did earn her keep this time.

    Famous last works, Savage. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  29. Monty - that WS game kept drawing me back. It was epic. So glad I don't have to get up and go to work early anymore!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. OOps, famous last words. That's what I meant.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wonder if Jackie is having problems with Blogger - her updates aren't posting

    ReplyDelete
  32. SueGee, I did... LOL! The struggle was real :)))

    ReplyDelete
  33. Busy, Penny. My best friend and I have been trying to have a garage sale for three years. I think we might make it this year. I have been busy sorting, pricing, all that fun stuff. How are you? Oh, I think I am finally going to get the refund check from the nursing home.... almost 3 1/2 months after Momma passed.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Maybe Jackie is having the same problem that I had. I love AOHell.

    ReplyDelete
  35. hello everyone. =)

Just lurking here waiting for Survivor to start.

Ed, looks like I am lucky I am not that into sports. Went through the TV guide and nothing but survivor on for me tonight. =)

    ReplyDelete
  36. My cat still gets me up at the same time every morning, but I don't have to go anywhere but back to bed if I want to LOL. Retirement means every day is Saturday!

    ReplyDelete
  37. The blog finally updated!

    ReplyDelete
  38. She'll put the kabosh on that plan, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  39. Dang it. How terrible for Spencer. Dang it. Get rid of Abi. She's terrible.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Kass and Abi on the same tribe? What a nightmare. lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. I don't get to actually watch what is happening for another couple hours, so I frequently read what Jackie is saying so I can follow along...

    ReplyDelete
  42. Nooooooooooooooo, not Joe!!!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I never liked Stephen; and I still do not like him.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I don't like the little shrim[p.

    ReplyDelete
  45. He's an uber, uber fan. Don't care though.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Is that the shrimp? Me either!

    ReplyDelete
  47. New tribes ....new relationships....better try to fit in quick

    ReplyDelete
  48. I like Fish just because I've read his blogs since he played the last time, but I'm not rooting for him. I"m still on the fence. I like Tash and my pool girl Wentworth, and I like Jeremy and Spencer with the guys.

    ReplyDelete
  49. I love Aisha Tyler on Criminal Minds, but for some reason I don't like her that much on The View. I can't put my finger on it. Just something about her irks me like Leah Remini did.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Oh come on Fishbach, don't turn into Jellyfishbach. Don't see many guys crying to the camera's on survivor.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Everyone's favorite challenge. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  52. Gross eating challenge... oh, joy! I always gag watching this one

    ReplyDelete
  53. This is one challenge I'd have a LOT of trouble with!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Come on, Spencer!!! Shut up Jeff!!!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Can not stand Fishback!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  56. I'd rather eat a pig snout than the bugs.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I can eat a fried frog. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  58. I guess it's protein, so why not, but I couldn't do it! YUCK

    ReplyDelete
  59. Rather have a frog than any of the others. Heehee Wow. Good job Kelly!

    ReplyDelete
  60. Oh no. Kimmi, you are going to get voted out. That was not good. Come on Cierra!!!

    ReplyDelete
  61. Yuck, yuck, yuck. That would make me sick for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  62. This one reminds me of the Lunch Lady against James, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  63. Okay, who says Spencer goes home

    And, who says Savage goes?

    ReplyDelete
  64. I hope it's not Spencer. He at least did eat the bug. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  65. How did Jeff choose the match-ups?

    ReplyDelete
  66. That's what we missed this year in BB, a food challenge.

    ReplyDelete
  67. YUCK!!! I would not be able to do it.

    ReplyDelete
  68. That is mean. Wow, she just doesn't like Spencer, does she?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Or maybe Kass goes, LOL! They're doing a good job with the edit tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  70. They really need to get rid of Abi. I say it every week but I guess they want her as a goat, idiots.

    ReplyDelete
  71. Penny, that's the old Kass that we know coming out in her. She hasn't had to be a cut throat yet, and the tiger's stripes are showing again. NEVER liked her.

    ReplyDelete
  72. David, if Ciera and Tash get together they might vote Abi out

    ReplyDelete
  73. They can not get rid of the stronger people. If the women had their way, they would vote out all the men. If Savage agrees to that, he will be on list for sure.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Spencer, DON'T listen to Savage

    ReplyDelete
  75. Dang it...NO! Not Spencer. You know what the girls will do? They'll talk to each other and change their strategy.

Don't listen to him Spencer!!! Don't do it!!! Noooooooooooooo

    ReplyDelete
  76. HA!!!! I was right! LOLOL. They are going to change it up, a lot.

What in the world did Spencer do to her?

    ReplyDelete
  77. They always seem to weaken their teams prematurely!

    I'd vote Kass

    ReplyDelete
  78. Kass and Spencer together???? Who would have thunk it?

    ReplyDelete
  79. They would keep Abi over Spencer?? Yikes

    ReplyDelete
  80. She is stirring things up - AGAIN!!!

Why would you get rid of Woo? Stupid. Why would you take out a strong guy???

    ReplyDelete
  81. Oh boy, we have a barn burner here, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  82. I could eat the fried frog if push came to shove.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Now my guy Woo is 'on the block' WTH :((

    ReplyDelete
  84. Penny, Kass and Spencer still have blood from their season.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Come on and pleasantly surprise us and vote out Abi or Kass. =)

    ReplyDelete
  86. As the days go by, the true Kass is coming out. Once this is done, the men will see how out played they have been on this tribe. These women are cut throat.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Send home Abbi or Sierra.

    ReplyDelete
  88. This is awesome... I have no idea what's going on, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  89. I realize there is blood between Spencer and Kass. However, she has given him no reason to trust her. He did everything to keep her trust, but she was always the one to blow it. So, who's it going to be? Spencer or Woo. Dang it! I'm mad.

    ReplyDelete
  90. I bet she stabs Spencer in the back. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  91. Ciera looked toward Savage

    ReplyDelete
  92. Of all people....Kass did me in! My guy Woo is out

    ReplyDelete
  93. Awwwww! I hate that! :(((

    ReplyDelete
  94. Time to channel flip

    Have a Good Night All!

    Thanks Jackie!

    ReplyDelete
  95. See you all Friday night!!

    ReplyDelete
  96. OMGosh! Poor Woo. Okay, Savage, now you know you can not trust these women. You better change your game plan. These young people are out for blood!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Jackie, thank you for hosting. Give Vincent a treat from all of us.

    ReplyDelete
  98. I hate to see Woo go, but that was one good blindside.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Well, I'm off the debate and the WS. I won't be here for TAR on Friday. I have a Halloween party to go to, but I will see you all next week.

Have a great Halloweekend and thanks Jackie!!

    ReplyDelete
  100. Thank you for hosting us, Jackie. Really appreciate it. See everyone who watches TAR, Friday night; and see everyone here, next Wednesday.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Have fun at the party, Monty!!!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Well, that was kinda stupid of them. He is a strong player and the merge is not far away so I see the point, but not cool.

    Thanks Jackie =)

    Everyone have a great week.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Yay, merge!!! Yep, Khaos Cass is back. Yikes.

Glad Danny got his transplant. He looks great!

    ReplyDelete
  104. What gets me David, is that they let Abi make it to the merge, but not Woo. I'm not happy about that. :-(

    ReplyDelete
  105. I agree. It was Jeff Varner who messed up the best chance they had of getting Abi out. And he got voted out by her the very next tribal, Served him right. lol

    ReplyDelete
  106. Poor Woo, what a good guy. I did not believe he was ultimate survivor material, but then again, neither is Abi or Ciera or Kass or freaking Fishbach. OMG, can't stand that Fishbach guy. I'm glad the merge is here, let them ALL figure it out together instead of these mini alliances.

    Tasha's team
