The Amazing Race 27: November 20 Episode Blog Party

Hi, everybody! As the show airs here tonight, I'll be updating this entry with the major happenings. Refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!

Last week was a non-Philimination (with Josh and Tanner last, facing a Speed Bump tonight), so The Marvelous Margo's blog pool remains like so:

Denise and James Earl #TeamAlabama - Becky, Ginniejulie, ORKMommy, Willie J
Justin and Diana #TheGreenTeam - Chauncey, Cherry Pie, Monty924, Nickelpeed
Kelsey and Joey #TheReporters - beachmom, ChicMc, David, Grandi in MD,
Logan and Chris #ThePaparazzi - Delee, PDX Granny, Rbennie, SueGee
Tanner and Josh #TeamTexas - Buzzmaam, chrob61, meb, ML
Tiffany and Krista #TheCheerleaders - Brenda, Brian, Cheryl in NC, Ed in OH, Nana in NW

Philiminated
TMZ girls (not in pool)
Adam and Alex #TheCousins -Anonymouse, DKNYNC, Jackie, Kelsey, Sharon C
Ernest and Jin #TheDancers - Glenn, Marlo, Nancerella, Russ
Jazmine and Danielle #TheTrackStars - Joanie, LafayetteLisanne, Margo, Merrilee
Cindy and Rick #ChacAttack - Donna in AL, Donna in FL, Jennasmom, Sharon N

Ready? Let's GO!

Teams are flying to New Delhi, India. They'll travel to the home of the Taj Mahal once there. U-Turn ahead. They're bunching at the airport.

Logan/Chris rat out the fact the girls U-Turned the Green Team. Then they lie once Justin asked the girls and said they didn't. The girls lied, too. They told Justin they didn't U-Turn Justin/Diana.

Roadblock - Who's ready for laundry day? Wheel a bicycle full of dirty saris, wash them in the river and lay them out to dry. Josh and Tanner each have to do it as part of the Speed Bump. Kelsey and Joey finish first, then Justin and Diana.

Detour - Cans -- Load 120 oil cans and deliver or Candy -- make and deliver 90 pounds of candy.

Logan and Chris are arguing. What a shock and surprise!

Tanner and Josh finally finish their double round at the Roadblock.

Uh-oh. Justin and Diana are lost and they are/were in first place coming out of the Detour. Due to their team strength (and a bit of Justin's smugness), they're a target for other teams to U-Turn if they don't get through the U-Turn first.

Ah, they make it to the U-Turn first and don't U-Turn any other teams. They're on the way to Moonlight Gardens to find Phil. Kelsey and Joey U-Turn Josh and Tanner thinking they'll make their own game a bit safer.

Pit Stop:
1. Justin and Diana - Won a trip to Honolulu
2. Kelsey and Joey
3. Logan and Chris (boo)
4. Tiffany and Krista

James Earl and Denise seem to be lost heading to the Pit Stop. Will the Texans be able to complete the second part of the Detour and catch up?

5. James Earl and Denise -- they made it!
6. Tanner and Josh -- Philiminated.

  4. Hi Jackie, Mouse, and all who arrive. =)

I will be in and out as I finish up some work here. The show doesn't start for an hour in my time zone.

  5. Don't make me root for Sparty

    ReplyDelete
  6. I'm feeling a bit better about the Texans after they let the girls go ahead last week. I wouldn't mind if the quibbling Chris and Logan lost out this leg.

  7. Hi Mouse, Jackie, Monty, David, et all

I missed last weeks show & can't believe my Cheerleaders are still in it!....thanks to a little 'chivalry'.

    ReplyDelete
  8. That's the only reason I like them

    ReplyDelete
  9. LOL, Mouse!!!

Hi David, Jackie and my home boy! O-H

    ReplyDelete
  10. Hi everyone. No, no, Mouse, nobody but the green team!!! They are my pool pick. LOL I'm not a fan of the Papparazi, Logan and Chris.

  11. I-O !!

Hi Monty, Green Team is OK tonight....but NOT tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  12. Don't laugh like that Justin, it COULD be you. Show some humility!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Not sure I like this side of Justin, but the Texans did pour it on pretty thick the first few legs of the race.

    ReplyDelete
  14. The Texans were so nice last week. I do not like Logan and Chris.

They are such snakes. How horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  15. If the green team.uturns Logan and Chris all.is forgiven

  18. I guess they have to do it separate

    ReplyDelete
  19. At least they don't have to wash their own clothes in th at muck.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Wet clothes are heavy... I wouldn't want to do this one

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wash machine with a stick!?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Texan has his mom do his laundry. Go figure! I knew a guy who never did laundry in his life until he went in to the military. He would let his clothes go a month, then he'd do them. We had laundry rooms guys and gals shared. I walked in to the laundry room to do mine and he had suds all over the place. He had put the entire laundry detergent in one wash. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  23. No, don't u-turn green team!!! But, that doesn't mean they'll get u-turned. Go Green!!!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ewwww, I would be afraid of catching something from that river water.

I powered though my work so am done now. =)

Had a strange day. Had Old lady's hitting on me at the store. Once was a little strange but 3 different ones did. lol

  25. Editing is a little out of chronological order tonight

    ReplyDelete
  26. Did she say she's Christian and he's Catholic? Doesn't she realize he's a Christian, too?

    ReplyDelete
  30. LOL David! I have experienced that a few times too! but not 3 in one day!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes, 3 different ones, at the Walmart which made it even stranger. lol

  33. David, you're just a stud! Own it :)))

    ReplyDelete
  34. ^^ LMAO, definitely never would think of myself like that.

    ReplyDelete
  35. What kind of tranning did Justin and ??? do to get prepared? They are running away with this.

    ReplyDelete
  36. They ran a mock AR course they set up for themselves. I don't know all the details but they are essentially running the AR twice.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Bad cab driver may accomplish what no one else has been able to do.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Becky - Justin is obsessed with the show. He's more than a superfan. He's been practicing for years.

    ReplyDelete
  39. David, how could they run a mock course? I thought they didn't get a clue to where they were going until they received a clue.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Oh, okay Jackie. Trying to accomplish every "project" done before.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Are Justin and Diana the "green team"

    ReplyDelete
  42. Good for them. They're playing honest... that might not win them the race but I respect it

    ReplyDelete
  43. Wow, I didn't know he had been practicing for years. Good for them for not choosing to U-turn. It could come back on them.

    ReplyDelete
  44. First thing you do to practice for TAR, learn to drive a STICK. lol

    ReplyDelete
  45. Yes, Justin and Diana are the green team. My pool team.

    ReplyDelete
  46. So true, David. I never understood that.

    ReplyDelete
  47. They have so many honeymoon options now, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm glad they're working things out. I like them. Justin gets a little cocky at times, and that could get him in the end.

I would not u-turn anyone. It always comes back on them. I always dislike hearing people talk about using it.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Somebody u-turned the boys??? That's horrible.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Now the girls are gonna be out for blood and it's not the Green Team they're ticked at :)))

    ReplyDelete
  51. How mean. Why? Why would you do that? The boys were way behind anyway. Way behind. That's sad.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Penny, it was pretty sh*tty. They were already way ahead and the boys were so far back.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Karma will come around. They just bought themselves so pretty bad mojo

    ReplyDelete
  54. I never understood U-turning someone who was way in the back any way. The boy already had to do another task, so there was no way they'd move ahead because they were so far behind. Just mean.

    ReplyDelete
  55. LOL my pool pick just got a bunch of hate mail I am sure. If they had not been nice to the girls last week no one would care.

    ReplyDelete
  56. The boys are strong and I'm sure they were just wanting to eliminate a strong team, but come on!!!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Lol @ David. I'm sure too

    ReplyDelete
  58. Can the boys pull this out????

    ReplyDelete
  59. I would rather see Logan and Chris leave, not either one of these last teams. Darn.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Aww... Texans going home. Didn't like'm but this stinks

    ReplyDelete
  61. Too bad, because the boys would have been out for blood.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Well, after what the boys went through, they deserve to stay, I'm sad.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Nice guys last week...finished last this week

    ReplyDelete
  64. I like more at the end of the race than the beginning. Nice comments going out.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Crap. That is sad. They redeemed themselves last week.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Mouse, I think the cheerleaders are too and they aren't that threatening but you never know, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  67. I wonder if the last two came in anywhere near as close as the show's edit.

    ReplyDelete
