Survivor: Kaoh Rong - April 6 Blog Party
Survivor fans ready? As the show airs, I'll update this entry with the major happenings -- refresh the page to get the latest news! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Please join us there. We like snacks. And beverages. Don't forget the beverages!
Oh ... in Big Brother news, Jeff and Jordan got married and they're expecting a baby! Check it out on my BB Facebook page.
Lifeguard Laurie has been keeping up with the pool --
Aubry Braco - Jennasmom, Glenn
Cydney Gillon - Leo Lionharted, PDX Granny
Debbie Wanner - meb, Rbennie
Joseph Del Campo - Grandi, Petals
Julia Sokolowski - Indiana Jane, Nickelpeed
Kyle Jason - Nana in the NW, Sharon N.
Michele Fitzgerald - Brian TCC, Kelsey NY
Nick Maiorano - Laurie, ML
Scot Pollard - Delee, Pinky
Tai Trang - Margo, anonymouse
Jury
Neal Gottlieb (when the infection is gone) - Merrilee, JoyzJenn
It should be interesting watching these folks scramble for numbers. It will be the first out by Tribal Council since the merge as last week Neal left for medical reasons.
Joe's worrying about the ex-Brains players being the odd men/women out. Well, most certainly I'd say Debbie is odd! However, it's more Aubry who is being targeted. She knows it. She's hoping to find a crack or start some trouble to keep in the game.
Kyle Jason tells the others of his daughter's problems with autism. Cydney points out to us that it will make him harder to beat at the end and that's something they need to think about.
Rewards Challenge has them split into two teams of five. They're playing for ice cream. It's a schoolyard pick. Julia, Scot, Nick, Debbie and Tai vs. Aubry, Cydney, Jason, Michelle and Joe. They have to support teammates on posts through the water. Then all five have to balance on a small platform. It's not easy!
Scot, Nick, Debbie, Tai and Julia win the ice cream! Bond-forming time for a few!
Meanwhile, Cydney is suspicious about Nick working his way in with Jason and Scot. Hmm.
Immunity Challenge time. They have to balance on a very narrow perch holding a handle behind their heads. Jeff is trying his best to annoy, antagonize and destroy them. He offers a temptation in the form of food for ones who feel they're safe tonight.
Julia steps down before the food. It's pizzas, hot dogs, brownies, chicken. Jason, Scot, Joe and Michele take the food.
Tai lets it slip he doesn't want a Brain to win.
Debbie is out. When Nick said Brains were targets, Cydney smirked. Nick and Aubry are out.
Tai and Cydney are the only ones left in.
TAI wins Immunity after Cydney looked like a rock through it all!
He tells us the Brawn and Beauty remainders will split the vote between Debbie and Aubry. I think Cydney might have other plans. We'll see.
Nick advises Aubry to vote Debbie and tells her there will be a split vote. He acts like the vote will be Joe or Debbie. Cydney wants to target Nick. She approaches Debbie and Aubry with the idea. She approaches Michele and Julia. Michele, of course, is in an alliance with Nick. So, she's iffy.
Tribal Council time. Nick is his arrogant self claiming a Brain is going home on a split vote. Tai mentions the super-idol abilities, surprising some who know nothing about it.
Jason votes Aubry, Nick votes Debbie. Debbie votes Nick.
The tally:
Aubry, Debbie, Nick, Aubry, Jason, Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick.
HA! Nick is out!
Lifeguard Laurie is on duty. No running poolside!!
ReplyDeleteMouse in the House! With Bourbon Barrel Twisted Tea and pulled pork sliders on Hawaiian rolls.
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie, Laurie and those yet to come.
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie. Thank you for giving us a place to play.
ReplyDelete~*~**~*~*~*~ SPLASH ~*~*~*~*~*~*
ReplyDeleteHello everyone!!! RIP Merle !
Hey Penny
ReplyDeleteHi Mouse, Petals, Laurie.
ReplyDeleteYes, Petals, RIP Merle
Hey Jackie, Mouse, Laurie, Petals and Penny. Hope you're feeling better tonight Penny.
ReplyDeleteLet the fun begin
I tuned-in to Scot being a di...Jerk. Hope he & his little toadie
ReplyDeleteKyle get gone soon!
Thanks for the booze Mouse, I can use it!! I brought a pineapple pound cake :) Perfect for dessert with your pulled pork. Now all we need is poi for a rounded, Hawaiian-style meal.
Godspeed to the Hag... I've been watching Merle Haggard youtubes all afternoon. :((
ReplyDeleteI'm here, Monty. In pain, but here. I wish I could do last Friday over.
ReplyDeleteHey Jackie, Laurie, Mouse and Penny. Penny, how are you feeling?
ReplyDeleteI brought a Southern Fried chicken dinner, chicken, corn on the cob, potato salad and pinto beans. Also brought sweet and unsweet tea. I will pass on the tea if someone has a cold beer up for grabs!
*running, then slowing to a walk in front of Laurie*
ReplyDeleteHI Laurie :) hehehhee
Oh, I have a big baking dish full of oven baked mac n cheese. Goes great with the sliders and Petals, dessert. Yummy
ReplyDeleteHey, Petals and Monty.
ReplyDeleteThere is still a 12-pack of icey Heinekins in the mini fridge. *sliding a beer to Becky*
ReplyDeleteHi Becky
ReplyDeleteGrr - I realllllllyyyyyy dislike Kyle. VILE KYLE!
ReplyDeleteMONTY!
ReplyDeleteI understand that struggle for families. I just wish he hadn't been such a jerk up to this point in the season.
ReplyDeleteJason, Kyle - whatever. The troll, toadie bully with the daughter story. @@
ReplyDeletePTEALS! *blows whistle* I'm watching you behind these mirrored sunglasses!!
ReplyDeleteLove this challenge!!! Teamwork
ReplyDeleteThat was nice - Jeff handed it to Joe, and Joe handed it to a chick to eat first. Love Joe.
ReplyDeletesorry Ms Laurie... I got crazy. I'm in the pool, on my leopard floatie. No more running.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Monty. He'd been such a jerk. He's right about the cost, but he's still a bully. How is he going to feel when someone does that to his daughter?
ReplyDeleteHi folks.
ReplyDeleteYup, Penny!!
ReplyDeleteBlue isn't having any of this one. Go Yellow
ReplyDeleteWatching you guys as I am sitting on my deck making dinner. Teriyaki chicken is on the BBQ. Someone pass me a cold one. We hit 90 here today
ReplyDeleteGood Evening everyone. =)
ReplyDeleteWe can only hope Kyle gets run off the beach right into the ponderosa soon. It might be the editing but I just can't stand people like that.
*tossing a cold one to Sue*
ReplyDeleteWOOOOWOOOOOOOOOO
ReplyDeleteSort of a Karma thing for Jason, or Kyle or whatever his name is.
ReplyDeleteWatching you guys as I am sitting on my deck making dinner. Teriyaki chicken is on the BBQ. Someone pass me a cold one. We hit 90 here today
ReplyDeletewow - that was a blowout for sure! Ice cream party!
ReplyDeleteOh, I see what happened with the school yard pick!!!
ReplyDeleteHey, SueGee and David. David, I don't think it's the editing. I think he's just that way in life and on Survivor. This could be a learning curve for him... who knows.
ReplyDeleteJason is definitely a bully. A lot of them are like that when they have issues themselves.
ReplyDeleteSueGee, had to dinner the old school way tonight. Found out we have a bad breaker on the kitchen so we only have the stove and one outlet. No kitchen light, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, did I mention the light? LOL I grew up without all of those things (except the overhead light) so no biggie. Electrician coming on Friday.
ReplyDeleteTai is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how sick these people feel after gorging themselves?
ReplyDeleteShe did make a good choice for her team. Hey, Joe, David and SueG.
ReplyDeleteMonty - that SUCKS. I'm sorry.
ReplyDeletePinkys here. Just a little late. The ice cream looks delicious!!
ReplyDeleteWow Monty. Thank God you have Survivor!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteTrying to do this on my phone lol. You got snow Monty? My friend in NE Ohio did and my sister in MI
ReplyDeleteTrying to do this on my phone lol. You got snow Monty? My friend in NE Ohio did and my sister in MI
ReplyDeleteNo snow in my part of Ohio.
ReplyDeleteDANG - she totally calls them out. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Pinky!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping this paranoia breaks alliances. We need another blindside. Love them.
ReplyDeleteIf you guys didn't see it, I posted on my BB Facebook page, Jeff and Jordan got married and she's expecting. The link to my FB post is in this blog post above.
ReplyDeleteWhat does that tattoed toadie bring to the table? Not basketball Mormon, but bounty-hunter ponytails? LOL Either can go and I won't mind a bit.
ReplyDeleteLOL, it just sucks when you realize how much you use some things now and then you don't have them. I cooked everything with just the stove and oven tonight just like my Mom did when I was growing up. I could honestly do without a dishwasher because I don't mind doing dishes by hand, but I miss the disposal tonight. :))
ReplyDeleteNo snow here either, but the wind was horrible today. A little storm but it went by fast.
Guys are banding together and worrying about an all girl alliance. Ok, but going to the girls with that concern just alerts them that the guys are all starting to work together. Bad move IMO.
ReplyDeleteOh how cool, Jackie. Thanks for sharing that... I'll check it out after the show. Love Jeff and Jordan!
ReplyDeleteMy brother and cousins in upstate NY, MA and VT all got snow -- from six inches to ten inches.
ReplyDeleteI saw Neal at Ponderosa. He is ready for his jury duty
ReplyDeleteI saw that, Jackie. Hope they have a wonderful life together. He can get really bossy at times.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Monty, You never know how much you use something until it's not there.
Winds were really bad here, too.
Hope they hydrated or they will cramp up soon
ReplyDeleteOMG !!!! I didn't see about Jeff & Jordan! I am SOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!! YAY!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a challenge designed for Tai.
ReplyDeleteVery crucifiction-like pose
ReplyDeleteShut up Jeff~~~
ReplyDeleteHere cone the bribes
ReplyDeleteit's a chick challenge. Or Tai. BUt he seems to be struggling.
ReplyDeleteDon't take the food... people are always too quick to do that
ReplyDeleteGo Tai
ReplyDeleteIce cream winners stayed
ReplyDeleteI knew those 2 would go for the food. I hope one of them goes.
ReplyDeleteThat was dumb
ReplyDeleteOf Nick
DeleteUh oh. He said too much. Could it be Nick tonight if he doesn't get the idol??? I wish they would take out Jason.
ReplyDeleteTai should be good because his feet are so small that he can get them on the board. I do not like Nick!
ReplyDeleteFamous last words
ReplyDeleteso who is on the block?
ReplyDeleteAnd who elected Scot the boss?
I don't like Nick, either, Becky. He's in the bully category, too.
ReplyDeletewe could be here all night, people. LOL
ReplyDeleteAnyone need another drink?
I think Cydney has this... but rooting for Tai
ReplyDeleteGooooo tai.
ReplyDeleteYES!!!
ReplyDeleteHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!
ReplyDeleteWHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo
tai!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy pool pick!
ReplyDeleteTai is such a sweetheart. It hard to root against him.
ReplyDeleteI love Sydney. I'd like to see her work with Tai and take it to the end.
ReplyDeleteand he went to hug her. He is CLASS on a STICK (literally, tonight, lol)
ReplyDeleteCan the women get together and switch it up??? They might consider this.
ReplyDeleteGood Job Tai. Showed up them yougun's. =)
ReplyDeleteGoodbye Nick?
ReplyDeleteI am so glad he won. I hope they don't draw down on Sydney.
ReplyDeleteCydney isn't like the bully boys.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the women vote together and two guys put idols together and void it after the votes are read.
ReplyDeleteI need another one, Petals, please.
ReplyDeleteHi Joe in NY. I agree on that about Cydney and Tai. I think he showed a lot of class right there and did it because he respected her fight on that challenge.
ReplyDeleteNooo! Nick looks great in his breeches! VOte-out Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum!
ReplyDeleteBFinNY !! xoxox
ReplyDeleteCome on people, take out the bully's. It's individual time now. Get rid of the strong players.
ReplyDeleteI see the super idol in our NEAR future
ReplyDeleteKeep your mouths shut or...
ReplyDeleteSuper Idol. I wonder if that will be an every season thing?
ReplyDeleteStoke that fire Jeff
ReplyDeleteThe problem with takin g out the bullies is that Tai is working with the guys and they have two idols. They can nullify the vote after it is read.
ReplyDeleteGirls don't know that
ReplyDeleteOh, Tai!!! Why did you say that???
ReplyDeleteTai. Shut up!
ReplyDeleteHope it's Debbie or nick
ReplyDeleteWho's it going to be?
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of beer, one of our sons has started brewingbeer as a hobby. I have my big ol' moonshiner in the family. He brought me a beer that he brewed for Valentine's Day. He put a picture of their little rescued dog who they named Olive. It read Olive you. I know, I know it was Off Topic. BTW, it was a "strawberry blondeBeer. No strawberry flavor
ReplyDeleteI hope it's Scot or Jason (futile, I know)
ReplyDeleteLook at the look on his face! OMGosh! How funny! Bye Nick!
ReplyDeleteNeat, Becky!! Olive You! Like from the movie "the Other Sister"!
ReplyDeleteGood job, girls!!
ReplyDeletethere is a liquor store by me called "Olive or Twist". I think that is the coolest.
ReplyDeleteGood play ladies!!! Or maybe some of the guys, too?
ReplyDeleteWould have rather had Jason. But when you get that arrogant, you'll have a target on your back.
Adios, Nick. We won't miss you! Jackie that you for hostin. See you Friday. Petals, thanks for the bear. Bye-bye to all of you.
ReplyDeletewell, no more cute boys for whom to cheer. :(
ReplyDeleteThose are great names for stores. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Petals!
ReplyDeleteYou always like good-looking a-holes. LOL.
He may be the most arrogant Survivor ever. Who the eff goes up to someone and basically tells them that he's voting for her and she's powerless.
lol glad they got rid of Nick.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie =)
Everyone have a great week.
Jackie, thank you for hosting us. Love it so much.
ReplyDeleteWill see everyone next week.
I won't be at TAR Friday night. I work. Have a great weekend everyone.
Thanks Jackie for the coolest place to hang out for Survivor. I'm off to read up on Jeff and Jordan and wash my dishes. Have a good week and weekend everyone!
ReplyDeleteWow, these men are horrible. What a bunch of babies!
ReplyDeleteWell, he took it better than I would have expected.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for coming by!
ReplyDeleteJoe - lol, yes. I love those a-hole pretty boys. But that Obama-looking dude was the egomaniac of this group! And ewwww I despised him. LOL
ReplyDeleteCiao Peeps. Ditto Monty - I have to geek-out on JeJo!
If the women stay together, they have the upper hand. Hope they do not fall apart.
ReplyDeleteThank Jackie!
