BB18: Mystery Carnival Whatever Special Blog Party - August 19

As the show airs, I'll be live blogging the events. I'm not all that sure what will be happening other than they won some prizes, heard some music played and the start (if not the finish) of the HoH comp will be shown.

If you want to see who won HoH and the care package HoH, hit the BB18 label link at the bottom of this post. The last two posts cover those. Since some of the people reading the show posts don't follow the feeds, please try not to post spoilers on this show post! Merci!

A recap of Paulie tears and the punishments from the veto. Heh. "Paulie threw himself a pity party." Recap, recap ...

Okay, the Final Seven vie for prizes, a Ziggy Marley private concert and the HoH comp BEGINS. (It's actually over, but ...!)

They're acting like this happened after Paulie was evicted. But this took place at the beginning of this week. Oh my gosh ... did they delete him from the scenes?

The backyard is done up as a carnival. Let's play a game ... let's see if they actually left a shot of Paulie in it!

There are life-size cut-outs of the previous hamsters. They're reminiscing about Jozea now. Ick. Uh-oh. This is reminding me of the Survivor walk where they say things about the folks booted. Clips of Zakiyah now.

I won't be covering each memory of each former hamster. They are, though. I don't live blog clip shows!

Darts for Dollars game, they're popping balloons with darts. So far, small dollar amounts. There is a $5,000 prize in there. No one won it.

Natalie calls James to the Kissing Booth. Aw, ain't that just too darn sweet? But it leads into more old clips of James/Natalie. Then James calls Nicole/Corey over, so we get to see old showmance clips of them. Now into clips of Paulie and Zakiyah. Gah!

An appearance by Jessie (Mr. Pectacular) Goddard. How exciting. They each get five attempts to Dunk a Hunk, The winner gets a 50 inch TV, a tablet and more.  Corey dunked him. Victor go him twice. He wins!

More clips. Now they're playing pranks previously played on Big Brother.

Pie eating contest. Paul worries about his beard. One pie has a an advantage. Victor got a Have Not.

Time for the HOH comp ... the backyard has a giant black box. Enter in darkness, press button once in lane, search the horrors that is black box. Retrieve and collect discs for thirty seconds when announced. Two hours inside. Advantage announcement -- 30 second solo search time goes to Michelle. It's smelly. It's nasty and Nicole is acting like a little girl. @@

That's all they showed of the comp. And the show is over.

  12. I wonder if Corey stepped on a tack, or sat on a hot stove - would he raise his voice?
I wonder if Corey has a pulse?
I wonder if you painted eyeballs on Corey's eyelids, would anyone be able to tell if his eyes were closed?
I wonder if they use a cattle prod to make Corey talk in the Diary Room?

(Oh, my granddaughter is making corn dogs at the Iowa State Fair this summer I told her she would never ever want to eat one for years!!)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Actually, Petals, I like Jessie. I never had a problem with him and never understand why they disliked him. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  28. ~~~SPLASH~~~
Watching the blog to see how the show goes tonight!
I brought 'Rocky Road' Ice Cream to the party tonight. Yeah, it's a carnival, but seemed appropriate for Paul/Victor.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Holy cow!! These guys! When my husband turned 25, I hired a belly dancer to go to his place of work. My husband turned so red, but everyone loved it. LOL.

He got me back when I went out with a group of women. They didn't tell me where they were going. It turned out to be a male strip review - Chip and Dales. I was so embarrassed. But, they were nice looking! Ha!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I wonder if we'll see a pie mysteriously vanishing at an empty chair during the pie-eating contest ...

    ReplyDelete
  39. LOL, Jackie. It's funny how they aren't showing him at the party. CHEERS

    ReplyDelete
  40. are they really not showing crybaby lol i thought you all were joking lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. Good job to editing crew for cutting Paulie out

    ReplyDelete
  42. That is FUNNY LOL

    ReplyDelete
  43. No Jon. The editing is very artful, actually. LOL. Choppy, but they managed.

    ReplyDelete
  44. My boy SUCKS at darts, LOL

    ReplyDelete
  45. Paulie boo can't gets no respects lol

    ReplyDelete
  46. James got himself an NFL cheerleader, who would have thought? LOL JK I really do like seeing them together.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Natalames/Jamesalie is an adorable showmance; I wish James could have a "real" one, tho. Obviously he has (in real life, he has a kid!), but he deserves to have a real showmance.

    ReplyDelete
  48. James always a bridesmaid

    ReplyDelete
  49. When they get outta the house, Nat will be back to hooking-up with Paulie-types. And calling James at 3am to cry on his shoulder about how badly they treat her.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I still think they are cute together even if it isn't real :)))

    ReplyDelete
  51. Her mom named her Natalie Mercedes? How...boujie.

    ReplyDelete
  52. They are sweet.

    ReplyDelete
  55. C3PO has more character than Corey.

    ReplyDelete
  56. They way she says bbuuuut is cute

    ReplyDelete
  57. Corey's just not that into you....

    ReplyDelete
  58. I would love to see James and Natalie to be real. They make a cute couple and treat each other so well.

If Corey is the cutest guy Nicole has ever seen, she must not get out a lot...just saying.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Paulie's an ideal MATE, alright.

    A PRImate!

    buh-DUM-ssshhhh

    ReplyDelete
  60. No kisses but plenty of you know what

    ReplyDelete
  61. This whole time he's thinking of Michelle....

    ReplyDelete
  62. Even when Corey was encouraging Paulie to cook the pies, he was .. stiff.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Sharon, Corey is either too heavily medicated or truly a dullard. Or both.

    ReplyDelete
  64. I don't care what he says, it was his fatal flaw in the game getting rid of Zakiyah. She was a SUTE vote for him and would have NEVER put him up. D-U-M-B

    ReplyDelete
  65. You probably hit it Petals. His eye don't focus very well. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  66. More Polly bashing on BB's part. I love how they've exposed him for what he was in the house.

    ReplyDelete
  67. * SURE not SUTE

There goes my fingers again. Somebody slide me a beer

    ReplyDelete
  68. He didn't think he had anything to worry about, Pal. He had a God Complex going
    and felt she was expendable.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I don't think Natalie is leading James on. I do think they have different futures in mind. He's ready to settle down, she's up for dating. But I think they share a special fondness for each other and probably will for years to come.

    ReplyDelete
  70. He does not have a famous sister like Frankie lol Who is in the UK Celerity BB house now

  71. *sliding a cool STELLAAAAA! down the bar*

    ReplyDelete
  73. calm down Petals lol

    ReplyDelete
  74. I agree Jackie.
I just wish they were on the same page at the same time.
Maybe her love will develop in to that romantic, beautiful love
that everyone dreams of, and they will go down in history as the
    cutest BB couple ever.
    James deserves that.

    ReplyDelete
  75. That is funny. Go Jessie! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  76. He is IN SHAPE! You can bounce a quarter off any part of him!

    mommy likey

    ReplyDelete
  77. that came out wrong. LOL

Paulie won a lot..how will they edit around it?

    ReplyDelete
  78. I wonder how they got Polly to line up at the end everytime to make sure they could cut him out of the shot, lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. Corey is a bb coach....he shoulda won this

    ReplyDelete
  80. Pound it Corey~ Yep...bat boy! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  81. Hey Corey!? Spell baseball!

    ReplyDelete
  82. Pound that zone, that's toooooo easy lol

    ReplyDelete
  85. Good job, Victor

  86. Ugg...boob wrinkles are a pet peeve of mine. I use a special device called Chest A-Peel. It is a bad that hold my chest in a certain position so that my decollete skin doesn't wrinkle or fold.

I have the chest of a 25 yr old.

    Bwhahaha

    (yes, really)

    ReplyDelete
  87. that was funny

    ReplyDelete
  88. That was funny - Michelle in the cabinet...

  90. James is THE houseguest that I'd love to take to dinner, you know? He's just the sweetest guy, with the best stories, such an interesting past, good character.

    James for AFP!

    ReplyDelete
  91. Playing so much rehash stuff... wonder if it's to make up for having to delete Paulie.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I agree with you Petals. I think James deserves to find a good person, too.

I can agree with the guys about the pranks. I would NOT like crackers in my bed, nor would I like ants.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I still defend James on his pranks. Lighten up Vic

    ReplyDelete
  94. Good evening everyone. =)

So a clip show, lol Well, good for a few laughs.

    ReplyDelete
  95. I agree Petals. James is just an all around great guy. Any girl would be lucky to have him in her life. But it will only end up as a friend with Natalie. To be honest, she's kind of hinted at that with him a few times.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Hi David!
We have carnival good & STELLA, of course!

    ReplyDelete
  97. The thing about the ants in the BB house is that they are always there. It wouldn't matter if it was the most pristine clean house. I swear BB puts them in as strategy, lol

    ReplyDelete
  98. Hey David... yes, some good laughs with the show

    ReplyDelete
  99. #strategants

    ReplyDelete
  100. Before I forget: Thank you to Jackie, for hosting a Friday night party! XOXOX

    ReplyDelete
  101. Hey, I don't have boob wrinkles either. Guess you would have to have them to get them. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  102. wiiiippppeeeeout

    ReplyDelete
  103. Nicole is annoying this season! She is sooooo dumbstruck (pun intended) by Corey that she has forgotten where she is. It's like she's never seen a tall, lobotomized, blue-eyed man before!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Natalie rolling the ball is like me throwing a beanbag in cornhole. I don't get it because I'm a bowler, but I stink at cornhole.

    ReplyDelete
  105. I've never played cornhole. In fact, I didn't even know it was a real game until a few years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  106. AH! That's why they had Corey & Paulie sit on the ends of the benches. To later edit them out.

    ReplyDelete
  107. See what I mean? They have Corey on one end of the table and Paulie on the other. They were covered either way to cut one of them out of the shot.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Yup, Zingbot had Nichole pegged. I don't think she will be asked back for anything again. Big disappointment.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Agree David!
Yeah, you called it, Monty. Sneaky CBS.

    ReplyDelete
  110. That was like a jinx thing, Petals LOL

    ReplyDelete
  111. Petals, I had custom cornhole boards made for my sweetie for Father's Day several years ago. Ohio State and all their National Championship years at the top of the board. I still have to add the last one to it. :)))

    ReplyDelete
  112. Bring on the HOH start. We want to see what was going on. lol

    ReplyDelete
  113. Two hours and we had to wait FIVE hours???

    ReplyDelete
  114. Yes, sounds like a SAW movie!!!

    ReplyDelete
  115. Nicole really is a cute girl, but cute without using intelligence doesn't go very far.
Other than Hayden not wanting kids, it makes me wonder if he had developed more ambition (than we saw on BB) and could see their life-plans just wouldn't jibe at all.

    ReplyDelete
  116. The only thing I knew of cornhole was "I am Cornholeo" from Beavis & Butthead.

(yeah, I'm an intellect, I tell you!)

    ReplyDelete
  117. who you gonna call

    ReplyDelete
  118. I love this comp... can't wait to see it on Sunday night

    ReplyDelete
  119. thank gosh Victor didnt have that one lol

    ReplyDelete
  120. I'll be here Sunday, but not Wednesday and Thursday. I work again. Thank you for hosting us Jackie. Greatly appreciated. See everyone Sunday!!

    ReplyDelete
  121. Sharon - she has said that he is now a personal trainer and was always busy, always traveling, etc. And she always wanted to stay home. So yeah - his life was still in forward motion and her's wasn't.
When they had him on here earlier in the season, he seemed to be genuine when he wished her all the best.
    Who knows, tho?
But! In my opinion, anyone who is THAT enamored of the wooden-headed Corey must not have very much on the ball, u know?

    ReplyDelete
  122. Thanks Jackie =)

    Everyone have a great weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Thanks Jackie as always !!
    See yall Sunday night ..GN

    ReplyDelete
  124. Cornholeo, lol. I loved Beavis and Butthead. That's why we get each other's personality. :))

Thanks Jackie for a fun FRIDAY specil night at the pool. See you all in the comments and have a great weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Thanks Jackie!!! Everyone have a great and safe weekend see you Sunday :)

    ReplyDelete
  126. Hey Everyone! I wonder what the real point of the extra show is?!

    ReplyDelete
  127. Thank you again, Jackie, for using-up part of a Friday for us.

Judy - because Les Moonves promised Ziggy Marley a few minutes on primetime American TV?

    (seriously, IMO)

    ReplyDelete
  128. Jackie, thank you for hosting on a Friday night!! It was loads of fun!!

    ReplyDelete
  129. Just now getting to watch a VERY scripted show. @@
It fairly screamed that BB fed them all those inane lines at the Country Faire.

    ReplyDelete
  130. I had heard Polly won the TV and something else.
If that's true, then they took away his prizes? Or did they re-shoot that part and have Victor win it after Polly was evicted.

Other than seeing a few things I missed on BBAD (don't have the channel), the whole show was a stupid waste of tv time... IMO.

    ReplyDelete
  131. It could have been both won a TV. I don't think they re-shot anything... they just edited Paulie out of the whole party in the back yard.

    ReplyDelete
  132. Paul and Victor on the block

    ReplyDelete
  133. Paul is a good fast-talker. Trying to convince Nat/Meech that they've made a horrible mistake. After all, Nicole/Corey are the bad people who should be OTB... not that Nicole will win any comps.

I don't think Natalie believes anything Paul says, but now that Paul's game is blown up, it sounds (to me) like she'd rather Victor got evicted (wins comps). However, Michelle is emotional and doesn't want Victor eVictored.

Gotta give it to Natalie. She did a good job convincing Michelle that Vic/Paul should go up together. Natalie is smart, while Michelle gets emotional and forgets SHE is supposed to try and win... for herself. Not Victor.

    ReplyDelete
  134. You're right Sharon... Natalie has really been on it and very convincing!

    ReplyDelete
  135. Michelle's choice would have been Nicole but Natalie convinced her to go with Victor.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Paul appears to be convincing the girls they made a huge mistake. However, Natalie scuttled under the covers 'crying'.. but I think (hope) it's just a cover so he'll leave her alone.

About the time I think there's hope for Michelle in this game, she lets Paul start to manipulate her into thinking she made a mistake. @@

    ReplyDelete
  137. If the noms remain the same after the veto, it will be Cory and Nichole who decides who stays or goes. Only 3 people can vote this week unless they allow Michelle to vote, which I doubt. If one of the boys comes down I would hope Cory goes up. Then it will be James and Victor or Paul that decides.

    ReplyDelete
  138. It would be to James and Natalie's best interest to get Paul or Victor out because they are more of a threat in the winning category! I love how Paul is offended at being called a manipulator and being told he lies! He has lied in the house AND he is a huge manipulator!!! This would be another big game move!

    ReplyDelete
  139. My only concern with not getting Corey out is IF Paulie comes back in. The script would get totally flipped back to the way it was with Paulie/Corey/Nicole ruling the roost... especially if Victor is voted out.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I'm seriously not worried about Paulie coming back in. I don't think it will be an advantage comp. It will be something that they all have a chance to win. At least I hope so, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  141. OMG, Paul and Victor are tag teaming Michelle and sounds like they want to do it to Natalie and James also. No, not like that, sheeesh, get your head out of the gutter. They are filling her head with their lies to replace the lies they got from Nichole. Hoping her lies drain out Michelle's ears when her head gets full leaving their lies behind.

    ReplyDelete
  142. David, it's funny that they think that the next ACP will be an HOH take over. This is actually fun for me. I'm not hard core in for anyone. I just love the scheming and the game. :)))

    ReplyDelete
  143. They also think (just as I did) that the ACP will be this Friday. So not only do they get a returning player, but no ACP. And whoever actually gets the ACP is going to feel cheated having to give the money away. lol

    ReplyDelete
  144. Between James,Natalie and Michelle, I'm beginning to think James is the only one who isn't weak minded!

Michelle has definitely been minipulated into wanting to keep Vic/Paul. Her "big" move? Get out Nicole. Meech is so insecure that she has a hard time relating to other women without mistrust and jealously. It's not taking her long to show signs of turning on Natalie and IMO, it centers around her own feelings about Victor. A guy finally paid attention to her, nevermind it isn't romantic attention.

And now it also looks like the tag-team (thanks David) may be working overtime on Natalie too...and winning. geez

I'm tellin'ya, between those 3, James is the only one keeping his emotions out of the game and thinking straight!

    ReplyDelete
  145. LOL Sharon. I just thought it fit. As soon as one of them slows down a little with the verbal assault, the other one picks up and runs with it. They did kind of try it on James, but as you said, he was just his normal nod head and uh huh, yea, ok, so it really wasn't working on him.

I almost hope Cory or Nichole wins Veto to keep noms the same. But then I also want one of them out in case Paulie comes back in next week. What a mess. I hope James can sort it out and make the right decision.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Going down, courtesy of Paul.
He's good at browbeating...could have been a good guy/bad guy interragator (him being the bad guy). lol

    ReplyDelete
  147. Memory comp coming up tomorrow for POV. BB Storm Alert just now. A story about Super Storm Glenn and off they go trying to remember everything. I won't hear many of these but love these comps :))

    ReplyDelete
