Survivor: Game Changes - May 3 Episode Blog Party

Everybody ready? Got your snacks? Got your tasty adult beverages? As the show airs here on the east coast, I'll be live-blogging with all the major happenings. Refresh the page to see the latest news! But, as always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!

Here's the updated pool from the Lovable Lifeguard Laurie:

Andrea Boehlke - Indiana Jane, ML
Aubry Bracco - Ed in Ohio, meb
Brad Culpepper - Brian, Sharon N
Cirie Fields - Leonia Hart, Terry is a Texan
Michaela Bradshaw - David, Jackie
Sarah Lacina - Delee, Rbennie
Sierra Thomas - Becky, monty924
Tai Trang - Cheryl in NC, Sharon C
Troyzan Robertson - Donna in Alabama, Lifeguard Laurie
Zeke Smith - Janice from GA, Paula Bell

JURY
Hali Ford
Ozzy Lust
Debbie Wanner

 Survivor fans ready?

The blindside of Debbie hit Brad. It's a subdued group back at camp after the Tribal Council. Cirie knows they can't get complacent.

Straight to the Reward Challenge. Two teams of five, one person race to a chair, team will lift chair, person will retrieve numbered blocks, 30 bats in all, solve puzzle. A helicopter ride to a luxury resort with a feast, overnight in a real bed. It's a schoolyard pick. It's a very tough puzzle. It's taking forever.

Reinventing how the game is played is the answer. Zeke, Aubry, Andrea, Brad Sarah win.

Uh-oh. Zeke and Brad are bonding. That raises Anrea's eyebrows. She and Zeke just worked things out before on the Debbie vote. Aubry is leery now of Zeke. too. Heck, even Cirie seems to be on the Oust Zeke Train.

In order to tell Cirie why and how she wants to keep Zeke right now, she tells her of the advantage she has. She thinks Zeke could be useful now and eliminated easily with her advantage to steal a vote later.

Zeke notices the mood at camp seems to have changed. Sarah tells us it's Zeke she trusts, not the girls. Zeke tells her that he wants to make a final five deal with her, Brad and Troyzan. He tells Troyzan and Brad. Oh my. The plot thickens.

It's time for the Immunity Challenge. Stack blocks on a beam while avoiding a trip obstacle, the blocks to eventually fall like dominoes. Brad is the first one to hit the obstacle and have to start over.

Andrea wins Immunity!

She wants to go after Zeke. She thinks her plan is brilliant because he won't see it coming. She goes to Cirie. Cirie tells her she doesn't know if Sarah would go for it. They go to Sierra.

Time for them to talk to Sarah. Sarah isn't too pleased with it -- she needs Zeke for a few more votes, but doesn't want to push the issue and put the target on herself.Michaela isn't too keen on the plan. She talks to Sarah. Hmm.

It's to Tribal Council. Sarah tells Jeff she owned up to flipping last week. Tai is worried because he feels like he's on the bottom. He thinks he might be going home tonight.

The tally --
Tai, Sierra, Tai, Sierra, Tai, Zeke, Zeke, Zeke, Zeke, Zeke

Tai is stunned. Michaela cries. Yet another blindside for the season.

  6. Hey, Jackie, Monty, Joe and others. I am hobbling around and hope I last through the show. I hurt my knee somehow and can barely walk. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow.

I, for one, will not miss Debbie.

    ReplyDelete
  7. I am sooooooo glad they voted Debbie off. Hopefully, those who did this, stay together. But, this is survivor, I'm sure people will flip.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Sipping on a Stella until Petals gets here with the margarita shots

    ReplyDelete
  9. I am so sorry to hear that, Becky. I hope it stops hurting soon.

    ReplyDelete
  10. MMMMM Fried Chicken, thanks SueG! (I am almost to Season 4 on ER. I ♥ it!)

*scritcha* to Vincent; dropping some $$ in the kitty to Ms J for the catnip

    ReplyDelete
  11. Pass me a Stella, buddy. I love those things. I hope this group sticks together too.Get rid of the wart-hog.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Is Ponderosa up with Debbie. She's probably still totally clueless. Poor Hali and Ozzy. They're probably glad to see her, but yet not. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  13. Hey Petals... slide me one of those Margarita slush shots. They looked delish on the link you sent.

    ReplyDelete
  14. These margarita shots are amazing - here is the recipe link:https://www.facebook.com/delish/videos/10155366778817437/

  15. I do not want Brad, Sierra, or Tia to win.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Hi everyone!!

Bearing wine with cheese and crackers (gluten freeoines, too)

    ReplyDelete
  17. Debbie was really herself at Ponderosa. Proud that she made it further than last time

    ReplyDelete
  18. Monty, here you go! They are chilled and salted!

    ReplyDelete
  19. I'd like to see Michala do well, but I do not like Troyzan or Sierra, or Tai.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hey tbc! Thanks, Petals. Yum, yum, yum

    ReplyDelete
  21. Michala and Ceiri are on the wrong team. I don't like Culpepper, but I like the others.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Sorry to hear about your knee Becky. Maybe they can give you a shot. The shots have really helped me so far.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I listen to E-radio on Sirius, and Debbie was her same, crazy self. She is just a character.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Come on, drop Sierra. LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Petals - all Beatles channel on Sirius starting 5/18

    ReplyDelete
  26. So, Debbie is still arrogant, even after losing. LOL. That's Debbie.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Debbie said that she & Culpepper's wife are pals.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Come on Zeke, Andrea and Culpepper!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. That's awesome, SueGee. I just got Sirius yesterday. Will definitley have that one bookmarked.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Oh, I'm sorry about your knee, Becky!!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Isn't Debbie a cop? (or was it just call me Superwoman?)

    ReplyDelete
  32. He's giving you a clue. Go for it!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. lol - yes Penny.

They owe this challenge to Andrea!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Darn, I wanted the other team to win.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Aww, I feel bad for Michaela. She isn't winning anything. Heck she hardly ever gets to play.

    ReplyDelete
  36. I agree Monty, and she is so awesome

    ReplyDelete
  37. Culpepper is playing much better than his first time. Frankly, I'm not really sure why he even got invited back. But he has reinvented himself. Something Debbie needed to do. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  38. No, I don't think Debbie is a cop. She's always talking about the Civil Air Patrol.

Sarah is the cop, I think.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I don't really care who wins at this point. I would have hated a Debbie win - not that it ever was going to happen - but the rest of them all have something to recommend them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Michaela with the popcorn in last weeks tribal was classic!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. Mostly because of Mickala (sp??) and Momma Mouth (can't think of her name).

    ReplyDelete
  42. I agree Monty. I feel for Michaela. She deserves better than she's gotten. I hope Culpepper doesn't convince the others to switch. I know the others will try to get each other to switch, though.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Sarah is the cop.

Debbie is the female Philip - Super Secret Agent. She claims to be a chemist, Civil air patrol, former model...and just about everything else at one point or another.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Yes Joe. Jeff Probst said (on E) that the name of the season really has NOTHING AT ALL to do with the actual season. The give it a name AFTER all the players are chosen. LOL

Makes sense, since 90% of these people were NOT "game changers". Gamers? Sure, but not changers.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I have to think Brad is on the short list for elimination

    ReplyDelete
  46. LOL remember SAM drinking game? bwhahhaa

    ReplyDelete
  47. Makayla's problems are really of her own making. She does not have a filter.

    ReplyDelete
  48. Come on Zeke, don't be a jerk, stay with your alliance. Don't go with Culpepper, Sierra and Tai.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Shouldn't have voted Ozzy out, gang! Go hungry.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Petals! It's not even just that Culpepper isn't a "game changer". To me, he was never even that memorable a player. He left early. Other than the ultra competitive relationship with his wife, I don't remember him doing much of anything in the game the first time.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Don't talk about what you had. Dang.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Dang it, take out Brad or Sierra! You'll be sorry if you do not!

    ReplyDelete
  53. 93 degrees here today and pollen up your nose!! A-Chew

    ReplyDelete
  54. Get rid of Zeke. What is Momma Mouth's name.

    ReplyDelete
  55. True Joe. She is young and acts-out. She'd be an amazing Survivor contender.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Why would you throw Zeke's name out there BEFORE you have the challenge? You risk pissing people off when Zeke could even win Immunity and then wouldn't even be eligible.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Too much information from the cop....

She should know that the swing vote in the middle often gets ousted. And by telling Cirie about her advantage, she makes herself a target.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Cheri! I like her. I also like Sara.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Joe I agree! None of them were game changers, at all!
Now with this season and all the tribal craziness? I think Jeff Varner BECAME a game-changer, with his Zeke outing!
    Heck, I dunno

    ReplyDelete
  60. LOL, if SAM (Philip, right?) only knew that we still remember is SAMYy, loony ways..

    ReplyDelete
  61. Boy, I am messing up all the name spellings. Must be the pain has reached my brain! Hey, that's the quickest excuse that I came up with.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I like Cieri, too. She's one of my favorites. But I think she's wrong about who to vote out tonight.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Yes, Phillip (SAM)... he's a Survivor legend now!! :)))

    ReplyDelete
  64. Why do you do that Sarah. Get rid of Brad, Sierra, Troyzan and Tai. It's bad. The girls are right about him, I guess. Maybe they should vote him out.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Andrea and Aubry need to work hard to get this. Or find an idol.

    ReplyDelete
  66. The challenge people on the past coupla seasons as AH-MAZING! I mean inventive, mental, physical, needing dexterity, forethought, strength, etc...(I ran outta words)

    *cheers* to the challenge inventors

    ReplyDelete
  67. I hope they decide to vote out Culpepper or, I guess, Zeke.

    ReplyDelete
  68. This was an elevated BB competition!! Loved it

    ReplyDelete
  69. I think Sarah's being foolish wanting to keep some of the guys around.

Dang, I wish there were better spoilers out there. LOL. I love spoilers.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I wonder who it will actually be tonight? Zeke could be in trouble but Sarah would risk her own game to help him... I think

    ReplyDelete
  71. I'm kinda glad Andrea won, she deserves it

    ReplyDelete
  72. After Russell got in trouble and banned from Survivor for leaks - it has been pretty quiet

    ReplyDelete
  73. I have loved the challenges this year. Much harder. I am happy Andrea won II. She is not one of my favorites, but she is a player.

    ReplyDelete
  74. My girl, the traitor, lol

    ReplyDelete
  75. Hey Everyone!!!! Wow... it's getting crazy! Your right SueGee... it is in the 90's here!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Michaela makes more sense than Andrea. Power goes to her head to easily.

    ReplyDelete
  77. I still think they should get rid of Brad, Troyzan or Tai.

There she goes, opening her mouth again. Dang.

    ReplyDelete
  78. No, no, no, vote out Brad.

    ReplyDelete
  79. My girl Cirie is still in and playing it smart

    ReplyDelete
  80. Andrea really should back off here. They flipped on Culpepper and Troyzan because they thought they were cocky and running things. She's being a bit of tyrant herself.

    ReplyDelete
  81. Monty - who can tell anymore, right? The way the latest Tribals have been going,
    Kim Kardashian

    ReplyDelete
  82. Dang, guys, he's playing it well. You need to get one of them out. Save Zeke until later.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Yeah, Joe, but they have targeted her quite often. But, I do agree with Michaela, they need to target one of the four. However, I disagree with who. They're trying to get the women, they need to target Brad. He really is the Kingpin.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Gosh, I hope they do not target Michaela. Shoot.

    ReplyDelete
  85. But, Andrea, they are human chess pieces in a game.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I bet the votes are all over the place.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Dang... they went against there own numbers. DUH

    ReplyDelete
  88. Oh wow. I still think they should have voted one of the other 4.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Yeah, Monty. They will lose this to one of the other 4

    ReplyDelete
  90. I don't like that vote at all

    ReplyDelete
  91. Frankly, I didn't think Zeke played that good a game. He was too far out front and took a lot of shots that missed. That said, Makayla had this all plotted out in the grid: if you turn 6-4 to 5-4, you're only one flip away. And someone feels like they are at the bottom of the 5.

I'd bet our lovely lady cop flips the script on them again. She's got the vote advantage and has a working relationship with Brad and Troyzan.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Thank you, Jackie for hosting us. So greatly appreciated. Will see most of you tomorrow night for TAR. The others, I will see you next week!

    ReplyDelete
  93. See those that remember tomorrow night!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I'm almost willing to bet that Andrea goes next...

    ReplyDelete
  95. Duh, I really do know the difference between there and their and to and too, LOL. Sometimes I type fast than my brain works.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Not sad to see him go! Jackie, thank you so much for hosting. Vincent, if you murder anyone else, please don't leave the body for your mom to find.

By the way, I almost wet my pants laughing over your brother's post about drawing little white lines around the body. Very clever.

Hope I can make it to AR tomorrow. Night all. Thanks for the good thoughts.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Yep, Joe, you are right. She will flip and stay with Brad, Sierra, Troyzan, and Tai. They will have the advantage. The others, unless they win saftey, will vote them off.

Wow, it looks like the four turned on Tai. So much for loyalty.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Thanks, Jackie and will see everyone tomorrow night if I get home in time. I miss more weeks than not, but my team is still hanging in there. Everyone have a great rest of the week and weekend.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Thank you all for coming! Remember, The Amazing Race is tomorrow night!

    ReplyDelete
  100. Jackie, someone posted one of the comic strips of a cat jumping up on to the table of his owner and girlfriend having dinner. The cat drops a rat on to her dish. She scatters and he goes after her. The mouse gets up, slaps a hi-five, and they eat the food. It was funny.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Thank you, Ms Jax!! Love seeing everyone!

Don't forget to donate to Jackie via Paypal on the blog home screen. Helps cover the cost of chlorine, the floaties, catnip for Vincenzo, and other sundries.

    XOXO

    ciao

    ReplyDelete
  102. Stayed and read the posts after my last one. I can understand turning on Tai. I liked him, but he would throw his chicken under the buss to save his behind. I wouldn't trust him.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Jackie, send me your email address again so I can help restock your cat nip fund.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Wow! Biggie! Thanks Jackie... see everyone tomorrow!

    ReplyDelete
  105. P.S.
Is it just me or does it irritate everyone when someone says "ALterior motive"?
Grrrrr...Have they never seen the written word?

    ReplyDelete
  106. Michaela also voted to send Zeke home. I don't get why she was crying unless she was playing it up, possibly to the jury. 5 votes for Zeke, 5 for others. So the 6 did not all vote Zeke out which can be used as deniability unless someone runs their mouth, as usually happens.

Hope to make it for TAR tonight. Hope to see everyone there.
