Are we ready? Yes, we are!
Okay, a brief recap of the previous and remaining teams is over. It's time for a commercial!
Teams will be flying 6,000 miles to Chicago. They'll get some rest, for sure! Once they land, they need to head to ChicagoLand Speedway. One team member gets behind the wheel, the other must change a tire in 40 seconds. The "race" has to finish in 48 seconds to move on.
Brooke is freaking out changing the tire. Why am I not surprised? Oh, geez. Scott got it first. They have to go downtown to a train station for their next clue.
They next have to solve three puzzles regarding the city's landmarks. They have to collect postcards at each site. Next it's off to City Hall to collect a clue from the city beekeeper.
Scott and Brooke are leading. (Grr.) They're off to Wrigley Field. They have to make Chicago style hot dogs, deliver them to people on a rooftop overlooking Wrigley Field. After the delivery, they have to go to the marquee entrance to Wrigley Field.
The last challenge of the race was posted on YouTube. Phil explains it better than I can, so I'm embedding it here.
Ack. Scott and Brooke are in the lead. Sigh. They have their clue to head to the Pit Stop. Joey/Tara are doing the scoreboard bit. London/Logan are far behind.

ReplyDeleteAlthough I grew up in NY, I've never been to NYC. I really love Chicago and Boston because they are so diversified. I liked LA, but it's just so crowded.

ReplyDeleteMy cool Chicago story from my one and only trip there. They were filming the movie Michael with John Travolta, and in the scene where he dies/disappears on the plaza, we were roped off and watched them filming it. Of course I had no idea what they were filming until we got to the Sears tower (where we were on our way to) and once we let through, there was a big sign explaining the delay. It was really cool to see John Travolta stand up from the ground but we didn't even know it was him until we got to the building, lol.

ReplyDeleteI never knew how that movie "Michael" was rated, but I enjoyed it because it had a little of everything... weirdness, humor, sadness, etc.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not right for Brooke and Scott. No offense to anyone who has them in their pool. LOL. I just do not like Brooke. She had help with most of her challenges and screwed others over.
ReplyDeleteIt was neat, Penny. When I saw the actual movie, I was so excited to think that we were right there watching it being filmed. I snapped some pictures while we were being hustled down the street when they broke from filming, but I didn't capture anything really that you could see what they were doing.
