BB19: HoH Finish, Nominations Show Blog Party - July 16
It seems like so long ago! After all, the live feeds already have Power of Veto done and over with. As tonight's show airs, I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
And, just to let you know ... I will have a live feeds report up late tonight. Not a heck of a lot happening in there today.
Let's start off with a recap for a change!
Okay, the HoH comp is on. Jessica knows she'll go on the block if she doesn't win this one. Paul tells us that Cody left him some ammunition in the form of targets that will protect him after his protection is gone. Also known as Dominique, in particular and Mark to a lesser extent.
It's pretty much a typical wall comp, perhaps not as rough as some. Josh is out first. Mark is second down. These endurance comps are hard for larger people.
Back to Paul asking/telling Kevin to vote Ramses to cause chaos.
Back to the wall. Raven goes down. They don't mention she has stitches in her foot. Ramses out. Kevin down. Matt out.
Dominique tells us she needs to protect her team and stay up longer than Jessica. Whoops ... Jessica down! Dominique drops.
Alex suggests deals. No go from Jason or Elena ... right away.
Jason tells us he has to stay up until after Elena falls. He's not worried about his ally Alex winning. The three remaining -- Jason, Elena and Alex -- agree none of the three will go on the block. Jason drops, thinking Elena would drop after him. She deals safety with Alex, then drops. Alex is the new HoH!
Alex wants to not step on toes and get someone good out this week. Paul, of course, has been covering his bases and getting close with her this past week. Jessica wants to unify the floaters to get out the rest of the house.
Jason talks to Jessica about taking out either Matt or Dominique.
Alex tells Kevin and Jason she will be putting Jessica on the block. Jason isn't thrilled -- they can use Jessica as an ally. Alex says she HAS to be on the block, backdoor someone else if needed. She's thinking the others would be happy because of the Jessica nom, but she'll convince the house that one of the hamsters is actually a rat.
Paul knows that Alex is likely to nominate someone from his side of the house. He goes to Alex and tells her that Mark and Dominique are sketchy. Then he tells Mark and Dom that Cody told him the two people working with him (Cody) are Mark and Dominique. Paul's out to create chaos.
Alex talks to Elena because she had made a deal to keep her people safe. Elena is not okay with Mark being on the block!
Paul continues to work the Dominique/Mark agenda on Alex. Paul would prefer Dominique out over Mark.
Time for a humorous Kevin/Ramses segment.
Jessica and Jason get to take off their frog costumes. Into a bit on Raven's health issues. Christmas returns from the hospital -- ten broken bones, four dislocated and needed tendon surgery. Jason feels horrible. She won't get full mobility back. Very sad.
Mark tells Alex he doesn't want to go on the block. She tells us that although Paul wanted Dominique out, she still wants to go after the showmances.
Dominique goes to Alex and tells her she thinks there's an undercurrent targeting her or Mark. Alex thinks that Dom is referring to Elena. Alex thinks it's a red flag that Dom is throwing her own people under the bus.
Nominations ceremony time.
Alex nominates Jessica, then Dominique. Jessica, no connection. Dominque, set up red flags in our talk.
Alex tells us she wants herself and Paul in the final two.
Hi Jackie and all who follow. BLTs and corned on the cob over at the bar.
ReplyDelete~~~SPLASH~~~
Hi Monty, Jackie...
ReplyDeleteHey Joe
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie. Thank you so much, I appreciate it. Hi everyone.
ReplyDelete~*~*~*~*~ SPLASH *~*~*~*~*~
ReplyDeleteHello! I have strawberries and cream leftover from the Wimbledon celebration
Hey Jackie Joe and Monty
ReplyDeleteHey Penny, Petals and Cheryl
ReplyDeleteOh how the tables have turned!
ReplyDelete~~~SPLASH~~~ but might be more like a quick ~~dip~~
ReplyDeleteTraveling and just checked into hotel and have no clue know how good the wi-fi will be here, but will keep checking in for updates. :)
No surprise Josh would be the first one off
ReplyDeleteAnd all that I missed..slow tonight..
ReplyDeleteWhen did they start letting the ex HOH control the slime and such?
ReplyDeleteMark is only a card or two away from Josh; Mark is Josh with more medication.
ReplyDelete:)
DeletePenny - only b/c it's Paul. @@ grrrr.
ReplyDeleteI'll be so glad when The Paul Show is over.
Penny, I would say that was for show. I doubt Paul controlled it.
ReplyDeleteJason is so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhy can't they turn around and hang on?
ReplyDeleteMouse in the House! Hey all. Late start here.
ReplyDeleteRaven should have lasted longer..Ramses too
ReplyDeleteJessica is losing her eyelash
ReplyDeletePaul may have been correct in something he said earlier in the game - the girls this season are tougher than the men!
ReplyDeleteBoy, it amazes me how these people changed alliances within a few days. As soon as Paul came in to the game, he was like a magnet.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Petals. You would think, by looking at the men, they'd be really tough, but they aren't.
ReplyDeleteHang on Jason! (yeah, I know how it ends, but it's fun to cheer!)
ReplyDeleteCody is tough. More than a little off, but tough.
ReplyDeleteugggg interrupted for weather.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone happen to catch Wimbledon today? ROGER MADE HISTORY!
ReplyDeleteI am so tired of my CBS station interrupting for weather. It hasn't changed since 5 minutes ago. I'll never forgive them for not showing the entire 3 hours of the survivor finale and re-union. Hate them. LOL
ReplyDeletePaul had scripted lines he had to say during the comp. Just a bit of trivia ...
ReplyDeleteKristen - sorry. We had that weather a few days ago - strong, short storms.
ReplyDeleteKristen, where do you live in Ohio? Dayton area?
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie and everyone.
ReplyDeleteI did know that Jackie. I think it's interesting they have to say certain things. LOL
ReplyDeleteJason is growing on me. He reminds me of the dimwit on the Sonic commercials.
ReplyDeleteYes Jackie - the host always gets some corny lines to say during the comp. LOL
ReplyDeleteThe chairs look like the airplane chairs from a few Have-Nots ago.
Covington
ReplyDelete~~~~SPLASH~~~~ Jumping in to cool off!!! Hot here today.
ReplyDeleteHi to all the BB crew and to our hostess with the mostess Jackie & Mr Vincent
SueGee on the LeftCoast
LOL Mouse!
ReplyDeleteJason is the one who is a college buddy of my best gf.
That's me in Covington
ReplyDeleteI remember Paul doing all those "pronouncements" during the competition and thought they would get them in during the TV version
ReplyDeleteWell, Kristen, our channels must be in cahoots, because mine keeps doing the same thing. Grrr.
ReplyDeleteLOVE Alex - she's a little spitfire!
ReplyDeleteWHIO
ReplyDeleteHug him anyway. Get him wet and dirty!!
ReplyDeleteMine's WHIO, too. LOL I'll never like them again since the Survivor finale fiasco.
ReplyDeletea "mute" point? LOL @@
ReplyDeleteDo you think we will see the big K in this ep?
ReplyDeleteDidn't these people learn from the last BB where previous players came back and one won? Why are they keeping Paul in the game. He will win if they continue to keep him in the game.
ReplyDeleteI live in Covington, originally from Urbana. WHIO is good at interrupting for dumb reasons.
ReplyDeletePenny - I agree! Alex isn't a fan, so she has no idea that vets CAN win. @@ Paul has them convinced that they need him, like he's friggin Yoda or something.
ReplyDeleteListen to her dude. She's right.
ReplyDeleteHi all! It's a sangria type of night. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteThat's very true Kristen. The problem with them is they do not make up for it by showing the interrupted show later. I was so peeved. I have every Survivor on VHS or DVD that I recorded myself. They ruined that. LOL. I live in Saint Paris. Urbana is such a pretty city.
ReplyDeleteAnd they're all drinking the Paul kool-aid
ReplyDeleteThanks TBC! I had champagne from this morning, but finished it (hours ago, hehe)
ReplyDeleteYes Kristen, they ARE. It's driving me crazy!
ReplyDeleteWOW we're really close. My niece and nephew go to Graham.
ReplyDeleteThey are giving Paul way too much power. They will be sorry for this. If he stays in this house, he will win and he will deserve it.
ReplyDeletePaul is planning on hi-jacking ALL of the HOHs. @@
ReplyDeleteThey have known they couldn't do anything about Paul until his 3 weeks of safety are gone anyway. Now we'll have to see if they start to turn on him.
ReplyDeleteI'm just saying - I thought I liked Mark in the beginning, but nope! He is a little girl in a big boy body. Ick, and no thanks. I'm just waiting for him to blow a gasket.
ReplyDeleteExactly
DeleteMe too, can't believe how dumb they are about it. And I'm not sure they will even feel used if they ever figure it out.
ReplyDeleteI think Dom is sort of a wasted eviction but I understand the need to just take out one on that side no matter who. Why rock the boat too much and put a bigger target on her back.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's true Sharon, but they don't seem to care. We'll see during the next HOH because he won't be protected then.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, whether we liked him or not, Paul DID deserve the win last year. Personally, I think that's why BB brought him back, and his return had absolutely NOTHING to do with any kind of popularity vote from the viewers... which was said by BB.
ReplyDeleteIf he is allowed to get away with the same kind of "rule" in the house this summer, he'll deserve the win again. It's probably not realistic, but I'm hoping they all start to band together against him. But they better do it soon!!
Kevin is so funny. I just love listening to him. He needs to whip these people in to shape!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable....
ReplyDeleteYes, I will agree with you Sharon. He played a really great game and did deserve to win. I never thought there was a popularity vote.
ReplyDeleteIf they let him stay in this game, I hope he wins because this time, he does have a great social game. I don't like him, but they deserve what they get if they keep him in.
Well, she has to be in pain. I've had foot surgery and the throbbing is a killer.
ReplyDeleteAll for a horseback ride. No, girl, the arthritis will stay.
ReplyDeleteShe should have been taken out of the game..just like survivor....I'm sorry
ReplyDelete****yawn****
ReplyDeleteAgree Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteI've had foot surgery too (Achilles tendon almost severed.) Was in a full cast for a long time, but got mobility back in about a year.
ReplyDeleteI agree. She can't compete on most competitions. Although they haven't had any question type competitions. Wonder if BB was saving them for after her surgery.
ReplyDeleteMakes her less of a threat.
DeleteNow under a severe thunderstorm warning
ReplyDeleteMark is a GoonyGooGoo
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. =)
ReplyDeleteEveryone have a great week
Thank you so much, Jackie. Appreciate your hospitality and blogs. I will not be here Wed-Fr. I have to work. :'( Have a great week everyone. Now on to the Game of Thrones!!!
ReplyDeleteSame here Kristin. Hope I don't lose satellite. I want to watch GOT! LOL
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. See everyone later... in the comments.
ReplyDeleteThanks for having us Jackie..GN all
ReplyDeleteThank you Jackie!
ReplyDeleteWill miss you Penny!
ALex is the shizzle!
Have a great Monday, everyone. XOXOXO♥♥♥
Thank you all for coming by!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting, Jackie! I wouldn't want to be any other place on a Sunday night!!
ReplyDeleteI just watched last night's show....I'm am so sick and over it over this being the Paul show
ReplyDeleteHe was annoying in his season and he is even more so now
