BB19: Power of Veto Show Blog Party - July 12
As tonight's show airs, I'll be live-blogging and updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest. As always, the real party is in the comments area. I hope to see you there!
Recap, recap, recap.
The Backdoor Cody plan is in. Alex and Josh are pawns and Ramses is the third nominee. The show is keeping the suspense going about him.
Cody recognizes it's a backdoor in motion and hopes to play in PoV. Jessica vows to stay with him until the end.
Paul talks to Ramses, promises him he's safe, but he needs to throw the veto comp. Ramses, in the DR, says he's going to try to win it because he feels alone in the game.
The Den of Temptation has cursed Jason, Jessica and Cody. Jessica thinks it was Christmas who did it and, of course, she is right. She thinks Christmas is a bully. They've been cursed by the VToad and must hop everywhere they go and stay to lily pads while in FROG costumes.
Paul sends Kevin to check in with Ramses to make sure he'll stick to the plan. Ramses tells him he will. But he tells us he's conflicted.
Oh geez ... Cody and Jessica moments.
Time to pick PoV players! Only six will participate -- Paul pulls the two chips. Elena and Matt. It breaks Cody's heart. He's a victim.
The veto is played one player at a time. Paul is still trying to convince Ramses. Ramses says he promised himself and his family he wouldn't throw a comp.
The comp is a trip around the world. They pass through terminals, get asked questions, right and the flight is on time, wrong they get challenge delays. The fastest wins. The Path of Least Resistance.
Paul got delayed in Terminal One. Then again in Two. Delayed again in Three. He got through the last two without delays.
Alex went through next. Then Josh. Neither seem to be doing well. Nor is Matt. Nope to Elena, too.
They have to eat pate, caviar and escargot with sweaty tourists falling asleep on them in one of the delays. In another they dive into a frozen "lake" to retrieve their passport. Others in the beginning have them kicking boards and grocery shopping adding up to a certain amount.
Ramses is up. He says he wants to win. He's getting the delays but getting through them quickly.
Josh - 7.48
Ramses - 7.44
Elena - 22.35
Matt - 11.32
Alex - 16.38
Paul - to commercial
Paul - 4.37
Paul wins PoV and isn't happy with Ramses.
More Cody and Jessica. Gag.
Ramses tells Paul he wasn't trying to win the veto, wanted to throw it. Paul says the book is closed, done. Paul doesn't trust Ramses. The editing hints he might want to take him out rather than Cody.
Yeah, right.
Den of Temptation - Halting Hex pushed once again.
Time for the Veto Meeting.
Alex - Wants to be here, if you don't, I will fight you.
Ramses- Use as you feel fit.
Josh - Goes on tirade at Cody. Heh. Whoa, he's really lighting into them.
Paul saves Josh.
Heck, it was the best speech!
Paul puts Cody on the block.
Hi folks.
ReplyDeleteHey BF Joe!!
ReplyDeleteWho watched Wimbledon today? The upsets, the amazing tennis!??!?!!
ROGER ADVANCES!
~*~*~*~*~*~* SPLASH ~*~*~**~~**~
Hey everyone! Welcome to the Paul Show @@~!
Hi Jackie, Joe, and all that follow. =)
ReplyDeleteHi Petals, David, and Joe! Thank you for hosting us, Jackie. Greatly appreciated.
ReplyDeleteOoops, I should have said, Hi to Jackie, also~ Hi Jackie!!!!
ReplyDeleteStill think that was a horrible temptation compared to Paul's
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie and Joe and Petals and anyone else I might have missed.
ReplyDeletehey Penny & David
ReplyDeleteHi Petals. =)
ReplyDeleteNooooo, no tennis for me. Watching the WSOP though. You don't have to move your eye's or turn your head as much.
Well, Paul, I hope it changes. Look how mad you were when returnees came back. These people are so interesting. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie and everyone
ReplyDeletewhat is WSOP
ReplyDeleteWait - poker. I figured it out. LOL
I win. My sport is better. BWHAHAHA
LOL @ David.
ReplyDeleteHey, guys. Not a tennis fan myself.
ReplyDeleteJackie - you'd love what Andy Murray did. He made a statement for feminism during his press conference.
ReplyDeleteHoping for a BIG UPSET this week; tired of the Paul Show.
I am soooo over Paul!
ReplyDeleteHi Penny, Cheryl, and Glenn. =)
ReplyDeleteHelllloooo BB Peeps!!!
ReplyDeleteand... has anyone seen the footage of Domineque complaining about being on the show? She hates it, hates being there, is humiliated and questioning why she is even on the show (which shes never seen in her life).
ReplyDeleteIt's on YouTube. Check it out.
I KNEW I hates her for a reason.
Hey Jon, Dave & Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteIt was stupid curse
ReplyDeleteLove that laugh. LOL
ReplyDeleteinteresting, creepy voice...
ReplyDeleteOkay Jessica, let's talk bullying. You are a bully!
ReplyDeletethe FROG curse!
ReplyDeletePot kettle black...Jessica..lol
ReplyDeleteLOL that is funny
ReplyDeleteThose are not toads. But....LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
ReplyDeletewow - animation?
ReplyDeleteok I'm pretty sure that is not the most humiliating thing she has done lol
ReplyDeleteLOL Jason
ReplyDeleteHaha...at least they all laughed about it
ReplyDeleteBwhaha Jon - you're correct!
ReplyDeleteThey are on point with the sound effects this year lol
ReplyDeleteLol Jonmd
ReplyDeleteand...the Paul Show.
ReplyDeleteI'd leave a room if you were giving your balhblahblah bs!
ReplyDeleteWait until Dominique gets put on the block. She is going to go balistic then. LOL If she wasn't in with the big group, she probably would have already self evicted.
ReplyDeleteI think if the kid would have said look I'm on the block right wrong or indifferent I'm not throwing the veto if he would have been upfront maybe they wouldnt have gotten so ticked over him going for it.
ReplyDeleteFeel bad for Ramses.
ReplyDeleteuhoh - someone stole a kid in KCMO. No more show for me.
ReplyDeleteThat looks horrible. Yuck. LOLOLOL
ReplyDeleteHOHitis killed Cody
ReplyDeleteHi everyone... late to the party so I brought desert. Vanilla bean ice cream and apple dumplings.
ReplyDeleteGrabbing a Stella from Petals
what a whack season @@
ReplyDelete~~~SPLASH~~~ Howdy everyone!! Just home from the DR appt (shot in the old knee) Trying to catch up
ReplyDeleteSueGee on the LeftCoast
thanks Monty! I'm dying for something sweet - YUM!
ReplyDeleteHey Monty - I'll have the dumpling w/ ice cream and eat dinner later LOL
ReplyDeleteMMOOONNNNTTTYYYYY lol
ReplyDeleteI have left over carvel ice cream cake lol
ReplyDeleteI believe this is set up in some way. Neither Cody and Jessica would ever get pulled. I think Cody made production really mad, so he's all but guaranteed to go.
ReplyDeletePaul, you are such a bully. Leave Ramses alone. Poor kid.
and if you don't do what Paul dictates - GONE
ReplyDeleteJon, I love Carvel ice cream cake!!!
ReplyDeleteJOOOONNNNNN
ReplyDeletePaul has set-up Ram & Jason to go home - he is running the show unless AMERICA votes and changes the coarse of the game!
ReplyDeleteI pretend it's peoples birthdays now and then just to get one lol
ReplyDeleteYes, Petals. HOH went to his head. He tried to do too much too soon.
ReplyDeleteHi all! Jumping in the pool tonight. I'm late due to my karate phase exam. Tired, thirsty and hot! *pouring myself a Pinot Grigio spritzer*
ReplyDeleteIt's always different when the person is not on the block telling the other they are safe when how many times do the pawns go home lol I kind of can't fault Rams for not throwing it even though he more then likely would have been 100% safe this week
ReplyDeletePaul can't win any temptations from here on out and I guarantee someone will go after him sooner or later.
ReplyDeleteDoes he ever stop talking?
ReplyDeleteTBC is our resident bad a**! WTG
ReplyDeleteLove this veto... I've been waiting to see it just from the stories they've told
ReplyDeleteThanks!!
ReplyDeleteNo Joe he never stops talking lol
ReplyDeleteI really dislike xmas
ReplyDeletethat was funny
ReplyDeleteLOLOL This is a great veto challenge!
ReplyDeleteIf I was HOH in a couple of weeks when Paul can be nominated, I would tell him if he does not say a word to anyone for 24 hours, I will not put him on the block. If he does, I will try to back door him. lol
ReplyDeleteI love this competition!!!
ReplyDeleteRamses reminds me of Urkel. I would kind of like him to win, but we all know who does. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm going to put up a Christmas tree.
ReplyDeletePaul, shut up!
ReplyDeleteLOL that was funny 22:35
ReplyDeleteLol joe
ReplyDeletemake sure it leans...
ReplyDeleteI bet Cody wishes he treated people a lot better now.
ReplyDeleteI think Cody would do it exactly the same way, he's so arrogant.
ReplyDeleteAgree with Susan... he wouldn't change a thing
ReplyDeletePaul does need a reality check nomination as soon as possible lol
ReplyDeleteCody would have got away with being mean if he had put up Jason or Ramses after the Paul reveal. Putting up Christmas is what boned him.
ReplyDeleteThey made it sound like he was two seconds in front of Paul lol
ReplyDeleteCody flew to close to the sun lol
ReplyDeleteSo right David. I do feel kind of bad Cody, but he kind of went wild there. It doesn't matter that Paul is doing the same thing.
ReplyDeleteCody has a horrible social game... it's his own fault
ReplyDeleteRamses = Urkel -- you are so right! lol
ReplyDeleteI feel like Ramses is lying to us. He tells us he doesn't want to throw it. He tells us he tried to throw it. What's the truth?
ReplyDeleteThat was for edit... pure and simple
ReplyDeleteDo he do that lol
ReplyDeleteCody definitely would do it again. He told Jessica so much when she wanted him to say, "Baby, I would have thrown it all away to stay with you for one more day!!!! xoxoxo"
ReplyDeletePaul will likely be toast when he's eligible to go. He seems stronger now than I think he really is because of his 3 week safety medallion. No one is going to make moves against the sitting HOH when it's two more weeks before he can be targeted.
the fact that Ram was so harshly punished only because he did so well in this comp...tells you something
ReplyDeleteHonestly, it looked like Urkel tried to win. But given how horrible pretty much all of the times were, he would have had to take a two hour nap to make sure he lost. I mean, didn't he get all but one of them wrong?
ReplyDeleteWhat does the Halting Hex do?
ReplyDeleteHere we go.........
ReplyDeleteJessica is doing the usual dumb thing that some showmance does every year. Instead of moving ahead and trying to re-establish relationships in the house, she locks herself in the doomed relationship undermining her own future game.
ReplyDeletewa wa waaaaaaa
ReplyDeleteI just do not like Josh. Dang, he's so unbearable.
ReplyDeletetell me how you really feel lol
ReplyDeleteHalting Hex lets the owner stop an eviction night and make it a non-eviction night. Basically a re-set button.
ReplyDeleteI guess he can bite Alex now.
ReplyDeleteIt's very hard to judge how badly you're supposed to do in a timed competition. Ramses is 21 years old. He could have thought he was blowing it...
ReplyDeleteI love when they play the character and integrity cards lol
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Halting Hex is an eviction reset? How the eff does Christmas get the lamest temptation of them all?
ReplyDeleteHate Christmas & Paul!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like all of them were on Paul's side anyway. We know who's going to go, unless something happens fast. LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting us Jackie. Appreciate it. See everyone tomorrow night.
Josh was right about Jessica, though. She risks sinking her own ship along with Cody's.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know Joe. I think it's because people felt sorry for her. Well, the Halting Hex would be good for Cody to get. hmmmmmmm. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm not understanding the Christmas hatred. Is everyone Jewish?
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, what am I missing in the feeds? She was virtually a non-entity on the TV version this week.
Splash..... I was afraid I wasn't going to make it! I hate traffic! Hey Everyone!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by!
ReplyDeleteLol, Joe.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie. Will see you all in the comments later. TOmorrow night is another HOH that will play out on the feeds. Please let it be endurance!!!
Thanks Jackie =)
ReplyDeleteEveryone have a great night.
Thanks Jackie, see you guys Thursday night, everyone have a good one!!!
ReplyDeleteJoe - She can be quite sharp-tongued and controlling.
ReplyDeleteGoodnight Jackie and all
ReplyDeletePenny, Cody will already be gone. That's a wasted vote. imo
ReplyDeleteOkay, oh well. LOL. Now I need to figure out who else should get it. I've read, anyway, that production does not like Cody. So, I'm not surprised.
ReplyDeleteWell, I at least got my toes wet! LOL... Thanks Jackie... See everyone tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHi Judy, BB was on at 8 p.m.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie!!
ReplyDeleteSee everyone tomorrow!!
I believe this about production not liking Cody because he went after their golden boy right off the bat Paul!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame production. He lacks awareness of how he comes across with his scowl and staring at people in the house. He's downright creepy. I haven't liked him since the feeds went live and can understand why others, including production, aren't warm to him. js
ReplyDeleteAnd just to add... if he smiled more and warmed up to others like he acts with Jessica, that would go a long way towards making him more human. Problem is, he doesn't and probably won't even if he wins a battle back or whatever they have planned. He's just anti-social in there.
ReplyDeleteSince the plan is to get out Ramses next, it would be kind of funny for him to get the Halting Hex...especially if it actually is an eviction reset.
ReplyDeleteI have never posted here but i like Cody. He doesnt play by others rules. Yes, his social game could be a lot better and he went too hard, too fast. But that is who he is and i respect that. I might be the only one but i am hoping he stays, or gets to come back.
ReplyDeleteHey Anonymous couldn't agree more! I think Cody is more serious because of being a vet. I have seen him smile in there. He was even laughing when they got the toad costumes
ReplyDeleteNicklepeed- from what I understand, the Halting Hex is a power that lets you Halt the eviction, just before Julie announces the results of the live vote. The eviction is halted, and then they will continue as if it were a non-elimination week. Kinda like a non-elimination leg on The Amazing Race.
ReplyDeletePS, I think this would be a really good one to give to Kevin. I think he would use it wisely.
ReplyDelete
