BB19: HoH, Nominations, Comicbook Show Blog Party - Sept. 10
As the show airs here, I'll be live-blogging and constantly updating this entry -- refresh the page to get the latest! As always, the real party is in the comments area. Come join in on the fun!
As expected, we're starting off with a recap.
We get to see the aftermath of Jason going. Paul is putting on an act. Alex and Josh are both totally shaken. Paul comes up with a plan to fake fight with Josh to prove they're not working together. Josh is reluctant because it only puts Paul in a good light. Josh cries some more.
We find out that Josh voted to evict Kevin because that's what Alex wanted. He's tired of all the "blood on his hands" and none on Paul's.
Josh cries some more after Raven leaves. Alex tries to console him and get him to get himself together.
Paul's latest scheme is to have Kevin throw the next HoH comp because they're giving it to Christmas. Of course, they want Josh to win it but Christmas is easier for Kevin to stomach. Josh doesn't want to win and take another shot at Alex. He just can't do it, he says.
Josh notices that Christmas won't listen to him about Paul. But will he react? Christmas thinks Josh is going rogue and she's scared.
BB Comics Week starts! The Revengers trailer. It stars previous hamsters from other seasons. The HoH comp is based on questions about the trailer.
Josh wins and both Kevin and Alex are confused. Paul gloats.
Josh hints that he'd like to go after Paul. But will he have the nerve?
Time for the nominations ceremony. Josh nominates Kevin, then Alex. Says Kevin floated. Alex, beast and bad-ass competitor.
Hi Jackie and everyone! I hope all are safe from Irma.

ReplyDeleteThe show is running about 10 minutes (or less) behind here. :(
Hi Jackie and Cheryl and everyone who follows!
ReplyDeleteHi everyone!!
ReplyDeleteHey Glenn..Looks like we are going to miss a hard hit!
ReplyDeleteSuch a dumb move Alex made..
ReplyDeleteHello everyone. =)
ReplyDeleteDidn't they cancel the rest of this season? Hmmmmm, could have sworn......
Paul is really trying to make Josh look terrible and has been doing it for a long time. I am surprised it took this much for the light bulb over his head to finally get a little bit of a spark.
Can't they show the jury house instead of this crap
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl. You are right about dodging Irma!
ReplyDeleteHello everyone!! Lost track of time watching the storm coverage.
ReplyDeleteWhat bad acting with the crying
ReplyDeleteJosh's face.... priceless!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG, I can't even watch Paul and his fake tears, had to look away, yes bad acting for sure.
ReplyDeleteHow about them Panthers Glenn
ReplyDelete! They kicked ass pretty good today!
Glenn and Cheryl, happy that you won't be getting a direct hit. I still have family in the line of fire down there. My sister, BIL, niece her husband and baby have been sheltered in place in Palm Bay/Melbourne. Sister lives in Palm Bay and niece and family went to stay with them... larger and more secure home. They're doing okay but lost power around 5:00 this evening.
ReplyDeleteI know right Jennifer?..lol
ReplyDeletePaul take that stupid floaty off!!
ReplyDeleteIt's bad in Florida,Monty.I have some family trying to ride it out too.Though my niece in Miami did evacuate to Tenn
ReplyDeletethey looked good Cheryl. I liked Josh reaction to Paul going from crying to smiling in a heart beat!
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable, LOL
ReplyDeleteHis word, solid as a rock. ??? Say what???
ReplyDeleteOMG...how does Kevin not read Paul's BS...ughhhh
ReplyDeleteI know, Cheryl. My nephew and his fiance live in Tallahassee and they'll get hit tomorrow. :((
ReplyDeleteI wish he had blown up their game. Sheep...
ReplyDeletetbc, he doesn't have it in him to go against Paul and Christmas. The only chance of that happening is if Josh makes it to the final part 3 HOH and takes Christmas over Paul. Slim chance, but it is possible.
ReplyDeleteIt's so sad. He obviously is upset with himself, but yet continues to follow along. Ugh
DeleteHey all. Know I haven't posted at all, but checking in anyway. I'm in Casselberry, outside of Orlando. Nasty winds and rain. Somehow we found a station showing BB! My girls at so happy!!! Power so far. Want to say thanks to Jackie for the great updates and all the wonderful commentary from everyone. Be safe!
ReplyDeleteHey Quixoticelf..Stay safe down there!

ReplyDeleteNow Dan...that was good..lol
ReplyDeleteThis is great
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite competions
ReplyDeleteOk think this was modified for Christmas?
ReplyDeleteOh no, not what I was expecting...,
ReplyDeleteWow, totally ruined this comp
ReplyDeleteKevin gave it a good try. sigh
ReplyDeleteThe real comics comp was played yesterday for the veto. We'll see it Wednesday night!!
Oh. I was wondering. This is lame...
DeleteThis was definitely modified for Christmas. Makes me wonder if they will modify the endurance comp for final three.
ReplyDeleteThe veto comp is the traditional one.
ReplyDeleteI was confused.
DeleteMonty I pray they stay safe!
ReplyDeleteChristmas was not allowed to play in the veto yesterday. Nothing changed from previous seasons. Still a zip line and Paul won it... Alex was second.
ReplyDeleteOh ok thanks for the info Jackie
ReplyDeleteThanks, Glenn!!
ReplyDeleteKevin, you should have played your own game.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry guys Kevin is stupid. He won't get my AFP vote.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteStay safe QuixoticElf!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you didn't do it
ReplyDeleteI really wish someone would stab that Damon footsie.
ReplyDeleteAggravating

ReplyDeleteFor those of you in Irma's path, stay safe!
See everyone on Weenesday
Does Kevin actually think he has a chance to win or he 's just glad for stipends, he's looks ridiculous in what ever that is around his head. I do like him as a person but he has been nothing put a floater. He hasn't been mean to anyone but he, just like rest followed the leader, he could never not once vote for who he wanted to evict. Paul definitely deserves to win.
ReplyDeleteI have seen Kevin be mean but I think he was just following the others!
DeleteHey Everyone! I brought tequila, lime and salt! THIS getting into some serious drinking in order to handle all of Paul's fake tears!!! Ugh...
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie!!!
ReplyDeleteBest part was seeing my favorite Dan!
ReplyDeleteAlso he already said he wouldn't come back for alstars. He feels his time is done.
DeleteAnon: 9:36
ReplyDeleteAre you saying that Kevin says he won't come back for All Stars? If so that's just down right comical to even entertain the thought.
No I was talking about Dan from season 10 & 14! My favorite houseguest!
DeleteHe was on the show tonight with the other former houseguests.
DeleteFirst of all I'm really tired of the "F" word. Those two women have a foul mouth for sure. Esp. Christmas. It takes a lot to make me sick, but Paul has done it. I can't image him with a girlfriend. Now a boyfriend I can. I would love to see Paul take Alex off and put Christmas up. Then vote her off. I don't remember on the other shows people using the bad language they do on this show. I wish Jason had the 5 mins. he wanted back in the house. Lord have mercy run Paul run.
ReplyDeleteJackie from NC. I agree with you. I don't use the f word at all. Now, a lot of people I know do, but I don't. I just think it's unprofessional. I rarely swear at all. I just don't get it. Why do you need to use that kind of language? I remember when I was in the Air Force. The only time you'd hear that kind of language is on the Flight line and when a bunch of guys got together. Of course, I hear it at work all the time, I just don't see why people have to swear like that. Just me.
ReplyDeleteAlex knows now Paul has stab her in the back!
ReplyDeleteNickelspeed, I agree also, no need for that type of language, my father was also in the Air Force, he cussed but I never heard the F word. BTW, I recall you said one time that you were stationed in Plattsburgh, NY. My father was too in 1960, I went to Kindergarten there, I remember the deep snow! I also remember there was a beautiful gacebo as you entered the base. I am 61 years old now so don't remember much more than that!
ReplyDeleteI finally watched last night's BB. The Revengers was hilarious. LOL
ReplyDeletelemonjello - I was stationed in Plattsburgh in 1978-1981. My home was 90 miles south, so it was great to be stationed close to home. It's such a beautiful area. Yes, there is A LOT of snow. That's why they called it North Country. LOL.
ReplyDeleteEven though I was around cursing my whole life, I just never used it, even in the Air Force. And, let me tell you, military uses it just as much as any where else. I went to an all military technical school. When they say swear like a sailor, it's true.
I can say truthfully, though, the young soldier, sailor, and airmen today, do use the f-word more than even years ago. It's just a popular word. I was just brought up that it was extremely vulgar. I just never saw a reason for it. We taught our daughter to not swear, but you'd never know it today!
When I was stationed at Plattsburgh, they still had the gazebo. It was actually on the old part of the base. The base is closed now. They were going to use the housing as low income, but it was deemed not acceptable. People lived in those houses for decades, but it wasn't acceptable for low income. The old part of the base was gorgeous. Now, it just sitting there. All those historical buildings going to waste. Very sad.
Loved hearing the comments about the Air Force. Reminded me of my husband telling me that they were not "allowed" to look at the flight-line. Wow. No wonder we all watch Big Brother!!
